Good morning,

I will do cardio today? Maybe I will go for a nice long run?

I will be back to report my workout.

Sorry, I don't have a lot of time for personals. It's been crazy here:rolleyes:

Happy Friday, everyone!

This morning I was wide awake at 5:30 so I decided to go ahead and get chest and abs done. Still planning on a run at lunch (thought it's a bit chilly out).

I was worried about my elbow so I went with lighter weights and did super sets of flyes into presses (no rest between the 8 flyes if that makes sense)

Wide-arm pushups - 24

SS#1
Flat bench flyes into presses - 26's

Pushups - 4 2:2 count, 4 1:3, count, 4 3:1 count

SS#2
Incline flyes into presses - 26's

Pushups with toes on stability ball - 16

I finished up with PH abs.

Now I must spend the morning psyching myself up for a cool weather run. Must get used to these.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Morning ladies! Today is a rest day for me - I almost went against my rest day rule and got up and went to Ride instead of taking a rest day for the week but I thought better of it when I woke up so sore from Kick and totally exhausted. So sleep won - and rest day remains intact. ;) Kick was awesome last night though!! Love that class!!

Heather - nice work on the workout and taking it easy on the elbow. Good luck on the "chilly" run ;)

Belinda - enjoy your cardio day!!

Hi to Roxie, Nora, Melissa, Debbie, Chris and Jo!

Today was cardio. I did a BM2 sort of premix thing. I started out doing Cardio Fushion, which is a workout combining BM2 and Low impact Step together but I don't know the two workouts well enough to just go and do it. Cathe does no breakdown in this one and I was lost. So I popped in BM2 and did about an hour of one of the premixes. It was fun.

I also did the Ab Work from KP&C. Love that one.

HR STATS:
58 minutes total
3 minutes below zone
21 minutes in zone
34 minutes above zone
472 calories burned

It's weird because when I did the first step segment I could hardly catch my breath. Then after I got to segment 2 and 3 I was fine. It seems to take my heart and body about 15 minutes to get acclimated to cardio.

Debbie - I love Cardio Fusion just for the fact that it jumps right into the combos, but you definitely have to know them or you feel like you were tossed into the fire. That is interesting about feeling like you're exerting more at the beginning of the cardio. Is it that way with running too?

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is TF 55EZ. DH is going to be watching a football game tomarrow night so I should be able to catch up on some workouts. My problem with 4ds chest, triceps, and shoulders is that it takes to much switching of steps and risers and I don't have enough. What other workouts are short but don't require alot of switching equipment around?

Heather-it is reall cold here today to.

Jess-enjoy your rest day.

Belinda-enjoy your cardio.

Debbie-good job with your cardio today and great job getting your abs worked this week. How is the stretching going?

Hey Girls!

Today I did the first Back & Bicep workout from Meso 2. OMG. Love it! I like the sets that are "to failure". I really feel like I work my muscles to their limit. I did some extra stretching at the end.

Gloomy day here again. It's not raining, but it's cloudy and damp out. I thought about taking Buddy to the park for a walk. But I'm not too thrilled about the sogginess of it all. :(

Belinda: No worries about being busy! We understand! Hope you had a good run, if that's what you did.

Debbie: Oh ya. Right. Cardio Fusion does just jump right into it. It's a really fun workout, but you do need to know Body Max 2 and LIC. Something to work up to, right? Did you get to do the circuit blasts from BM2? those are crazy! I'm usually wanting to spit at the end of each of those!

Heather: Good idea to go lighter for your elbow. Sounds like heavy to ME still, though! LOL! i don't think I could go heavier than 25-26 lbs for chest flies. Mostly due to the weight pulling on my shoulders. ... Cool weather runs are great!! HOPE YOU acclimate easily~!

Nora: YES! the upper body premix from CTX is NUTS!! I do remember that! Hope you're not paralyzed with DOMS today!!!

Roxie: I love the TF HiiTs , you work up a huge sweat and it's over in a short amt of time!. Do you have Cross Train Express? I remember doing weight exercises and each body part was about 10 minutes each. You could do those!

Jessica: Good for you for taking a rest day! I know that , to me, is harder than working out. People might think that we are strange ! LOL!

Better run and get some Friday stuf done!
*waves* to Melissa:)

Hi ladies - got in my run. It was SOOOOOO freaking windy out. Man. Almost lost my hat even.

I definitely need to get used to how it feels to run in the colder temps - allowing more time to warm up. But for me the biggest issues comes down to the cold air aggravating my asthma. It really really sucks. I swear it felt like my lungs were on fire and I was pushing as hard as I do in a race, but I wasn't. My heart rate felt like 182 but it was only 162. Really not sure I can acclimate to that? Will it ever get easier? Need to maybe talk to some runners.

Chris - sounds like you had a great workout. I don't think I can go heavier than 26 for flyes but definitely for press. It's the press that hurts the elbow though

Heather - that sucks about the asthma! It might just take your body acclimating to the cooler weather and maybe you'll just naturally adjust? I don't have asthma so I can't help beyond that, sorry!! :(

Chris - totally!! Rest days are so hard for me to give in to, I feel like I'm being lazy or something. Ridiculous, right??

Jessica - I really didn't even try to run much this spring in the cold, so maybe I can sort of build up to it like I got used to the heat this summer. I hope otherwise it's going to be very depressing this winter! Hope you enjoy your rest day. You know you need it of course.

Oh, I didn't know about the asthma, Heather. I have no idea on how to adjust to that either. Certainly the wind had to make things worse! Wind takes MY breath away, and I don't have lung issues!

Hi girls!

Good evening.

I had no I idea DH was off today, we took off this morning and went to Regensburng. First we went to a huge bike store, we looked for a bike trainer (DH's b-day is coming up). They did had bike trainers, way to expensive and non worst the grap:confused: I will order one on Amazon.com I saw one with I really like! Then we went to the IKEA, haven't been there in so long. We found a lot of storage solution for this office;) no more messes! Then we walked around town down and had dinner:eek: Had an awesome day yesterday. When we came home I did shoulders & traps. It was to later to get a cardio workout in, but not to late for my weight workout:eek: I will post my workout tomorrow!

Heather - nice job, on your chest & ab workout. Good for you getting that run in, altough it was a rough one. There is no way right now, that I could run outside. Too cold here in Germany.

Jess - hope you enjoyed your rest day today. I feel the same way about rest day's, but I feel so much better after taking one!

Debbie - wtg, on BM2 & abs today. I love CF, so much fun!

Chris - love M2! WTG, on your weight workout today.

Roxie - wtg, on TF today.

Nora - you rocked your workout yesterday and today. WTG, girl!
