Hallo and good morning,

Today starts my recovery week! Not sure, what workout I will do today, I know I will do soemthing! I am afraid to take a recovery/rest week, since Thanksgiving is this week:confused: No time to slow down!


I will be back to report my workout!

Hi ladies - not totally sure what I'm going to do today. Trying to pay attention to the weather to see when I'll be able to run this week and trying to plan around that. Though no running for me today. I need to rest the legs from running. I put in 21 miles between Friday and Sunday alone. :eek:

I definitely will do chest and abs today at lunch. After work I'll either go with boxing or kickboxing or LIC cardio only premix (probably just the 3 combos).

While I'm not happy it's Monday - it's a short week at least!!!
 
Morning ladies! THANK GOD for the short week, I would be a total bear if not. I hate Monday's. BUT this Monday marked the start of Meso 2 for me and dammmmn it got me good this morning. I swear I already have DOMS hahaha. Chest was literally VIBRATING once I was done, haha. Love STS!! I followed that with some of the abs and stretching from Core Fusion but didn't have time to do the whole thing. Great workout today. Wee!

Heather - GOOD girl for admitting you should probably pare back on the running after putting in all those miles this weekend. Remember - ya gotta build in added recovery as you up your mileage or you'll end up injured. But you knew I'd tell you that. ;-)

Belinda - enjoy the recovery week! You'll be fine even though it's Thanksgiving week - its just one day where you'll end up eating more/differently than normal. You'll be just fine!

And PS - forgot to tell you ladies! I ran for the first time in almost three weeks on Saturday! And it was glorious! Knees are on the mend at last, woo hoo!!

I just finished High Reps, got a nice burn in my triceps & abs! Weights were light! I did like the lunges with the plates, felt those in my glutes. Really liked those a lot. Cathe never done those moves before, really fun and they burn!

I know, it's my recovery week. Just couldn't help myself :eek::p

This week is supersets and today I did Chest and Back. Had a great workout.

1 min. 30 second rest between each set.

WARMUP:
Double Are Dumbbell Row - 15's/12 reps
SS w/
Pushups - 12 reps
***Only 1 minute rest here, did 3 sets.

SS #1
Barbell Bench Press - 85#/8 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Overhand Barbell Rows - 70#/8 reps - 3 sets
***This superset felt good. And I like doing rows overhand better then underhand. Just realized that today.

SS #2
Incline Dumbbell Press - 30's/10 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
One-Arm Rows - 30#/10 reps - 3 sets

SS #3
Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes - 25's/12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Pullovers - 25#/12 reps - 3 sets

Then I got on my treadmill and did a fast paced walk for 20 minutes. I did 3 mph walk on a 3% incline. Kept my HR up pretty good. Walked 1 mile.

Jess:p:p I really couldn't help myself this afternoon:D:eek: You will like it, it's almost like PH. Cathe uses old and new moves (mostly with the plates)! The ab section is a burner!

It is a recovery week for me to but I want to get some wt work in this week due to the holidays. Tonite will be TF 30 Class, Stretch 10 and some abs.

Belinda-I am thinking of buying the download of that one sounds like a good one. Take a rest week would you.

Debbie-awesome job on your workout.

Jess-yea about the knee being better.

Heather-holy crap on those runs.
 
Hi Everyone!

Today I started my last week of Meso 2. It FLEW by! Loved it!! I did Disc 22, which is Chest Shoulders and Triceps. Afterwards I did TF 30 Class, due to over the top eating yesterday . :eek:

Nice workouts everyone so far! Belinda, that workout sounds great! can't wait to get them this week. Though I think I really want to finish out STS for another month before I do the weights. But will def hit the cardios!!

Sorry so short, I have a bunch to do today and time is ticking!

Anyways, High Reps - isn't that one of the new workouts? You got yours already??? I'm hoping to get mine this week then. Too cool!!! Can't wait to try the ab section!

I heard a very old song on the radio last week, one from either the late 70's or early 80's. I think the title is "Lucy and Ramona" or it's "Sunset Sam", but I've searched both titles and can't find the song. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do you know the artist??

LOL, no. That's a Beatles song. This one was a weird song, like a one hit wonder.

Nevermind, I found it. The title is "Cruisin'" and its by Michael Nesmith. Would have never guessed that one!

I made a last minute decision to start STS again today. I am going to break up the muscle groups though for shorter weight sessions. Today was M1D1 and I did chest and biceps. I will do shoulders tomorrow. Love breaking this one up and LOVED the workout again. Holy freaking pushups! I forgot about all the crazy rep patterns for everything too so my biceps are beyond freaking fried.

I definitely went heavier than I should have on some things b/c I didn't have time to go back and check the weights from the first round. I'll do that tonight before diving into the rest of the workouts. Oh and I must brag that I didn't have to go to my knees for any of those dang pushups like I did the first round.

Hi girls!;)

Despite having a workout injury today I had a great day. I checked online to see if my pre-order for Cathe's four new dvds' had shipped and I wasn't able to tell if it had shipped yet:( So, I told myself be patient maybe check back later today or tomorrow. Later, I left to go pick up my son from school and there on my door step was a package from cathe:eek::D I didn't even get to stalk the ups guy. He was here magically like santa and I didn't even see or hear him. Also, I had ordered the Power Tower at amazon and got it delivered Friday!:eek: I'm tickled pink that was my christmas present from DH. I twisted my ankle today doing 4DS- HIS. That always seems to be an eminent threat to my ankles with that workout for some reason. Oh well.

Here's today's workout:

4DS Split Cardio + Weights: HIS in its entirety= 59 Min
Calories burned= 657
Met Value= 7.50
I was able to do most of the step portion before I twisted my ankle, I couldn't do step now if my life depended on it. It hurts to put weight on it I can but its not fun. I think I'll ice it tonight.


Core Max- Tough Core Premix= 18 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 123

Total calories burned today= 780;)

That's it for me just now. I'll try to come back for personals later but I don't know if I'll be able to as per my ankle.
