Today was Shoulders and Trap and I had a great half hour workout. Love these shorter workout.
1 minute rest between each set.
SHOULDERS Dumbbell Military Press - 10's/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup) Alternate Dumbbell Military Press - 15's/8 reps - 3 sets ***Should have gone a bit higher here but of course I have a twisted muscle in my right shoulder blade area again. Didn't want to irritate it anymore than it already was.
Barbell Front Raise - 20#/10 reps - 4 sets ***Love this exercise. Haven't done it in ages.
Lateral Raises - 12's/12 reps - 3 sets
Bent Over Lateral Raise - 15's/10 reps - 3 sets ***Did a "Y" instead of straight out to the sides. Really felt them.
TRAPS Barbell Shrugs - 90#/15 reps - 3 sets

ps. My oldest son, Austin, who is sixteen and runs on his school cross country team at school, entered a 10K race and came in first for his age group and shaved 4 minutes off his previous 10K time! I had to have a mom moment and brag! I'm so proud of him.
