CRAZY STRONG & LOVING IT FOR NOV 1, 2010

Good morning,

Today I will do Hiit 40/20 + abs and Chest/triceps:D As you can see, I dipped into the candy bowl yesterday. Need to do some damage control today.

Hardly any kids showed up, that was the weirdest Halloween ever:eek: not sure, where all the kids went (we live on a military base). I told DH we will sent all the leftover candy down range to the soldiers:p I only had like 5 pieces of candy yesterday, had a sugar rush from hell:confused:

Thanks for the b-day wishes yesterday. My neiphew b-day was yesterday as well. My sis invited us for lunch, after lunch we went on an hour long hike and that in high heals:p:eek: my feet were killing me by the time we went down hills:confused: Everyone else had compfy shoes on, except me:confused: LOL! Before we left our house, I also walked my dogs for 30 min. I did get a lot of walking in yesterday.

Off to get busy! I will be back and catch up on personals!

I went to your FB page and saw a pic of your daughter, she's a beauty. That's so cool all the friends and family you have. I know that we think your pretty special too.;) No worries on the candy, I'm sure we all have confessions about that. Oh no, so sorry for your poor feet yikes hiking in heels sounds like some kind of medevial torture. LOL!!!

Worked Chest and Triceps today. Had a pretty good workout. This is the last Chest/Tricep workout of this rotation. Today started my week 8. Next week is a rest week and I'm looking forward to it!

1:30 min rest between each set and exercise.

CHEST:
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 55#/15 reps - 2 sets - Warmup
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 87#/12 reps - 3 sets
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 87#/11 reps - 1 set
***Up 2#. I wanted to try 90# but I really didn't think I could do that for 12 reps. Barly made 11 reps with the last set.

Incline Dumbbell Press - 35's/12 reps - 4 sets
***Up 2#.

Decline Dumbbell Press - Skipped
***This one really hurts my right shoulder so I didn't even want to attempt it today. Wimp!

Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 30's/12 reps - 4 sets
***Up 3#'s. Really felt this one.

TRICEPS:
Double-Arm Overhead Tricep Extension - 40#/12 reps - 3 sets
***Up 3#.

Weighted Bench Dips - 57#/12 reps - 3 sets
***Up 2#.

Dumbbell Kickbacks - 15#/12 reps - 3 sets
***Up 1#.

Just a quick check in, I am done with Hiit 40/20 plus chest & tricpes. I started week 6 of this rotation. Two more weeks to go! I pulled a muscle in my biceps or shoulder, can't pin point it really:confused: I will take a mucle relaxer today and see if it helps. I will post my workout later. Still have to work my abs.

Debbie - can't believe you almost done with the rotation:D You are rocking those weights, girl. ^^^5's! Thanks for the b-day wished for DD!

Morning ladies! I cannot believe it's already Nov 1. How the hell did that happen???

I ended up doing STS M1 D7 which was push-up, 21s and drop-set hell!! In a good way of course. ;) I am like all wobbly armed now as I type this at work LOL. I followed that up with Ab Circuits no equip. abs, too. I am HOPING to get in on the Worldwide HIIT Day tonight but we'll see if I can squeeze it in between things with my sis. I love to hate HIIT, anyone else with me on that one??

Belinda - happy belated birthday!!! Don't feel too badly about the candy intake, you more than made up for it with HIIT and that weight workout! You will be just fine, I am sure of it :)

Debbie - with the amt of weights your lifting, I am SURE you are dying for that recovery week!!!

Sometime today after I take Oldest DD to have all four of her wisdom teeth removed, I will do TF HIIT 15 and 4ds back and biceps and depending on how things go Core 20, I am going to stay with her until her DH gets home. DH and I reorganized my workout room after the chiefs game and I didn't get it all put back together so I didn't get yesterdays workout done. We remeasured me last night and I am down 1.5 inches in the abs and hips.

Debbie-awesome workout.

Belinda-I only had 1 kid last night but the candy I bought isn't stuff I like just DH so I won't be eating any.

Jess-good job getting those abs done proud of you.

Hi ladies. Sorry to be absent all weekend. My Seattle trip got postponed and my sister ended up staying all weekend. I was off on Friday still despite trip being canceled. I went for a 5.5 mile run. Saturday we went hiking then I did 9 miles yesterday.

I was supposed to be off today, but I'm at work and super stressed. Really crappy day. I think I am going to do a really easy 3-mile run (and I really am serious about it being easy and slow) at lunch just to get outside and try to refocus. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I know I'll be doing an inside workout. After work I will do my weights and probably abs as well. Thinking I'll do bis/tris.

Belinda - I'm sorry I missed your birthday! I hope it was a good on.

Jessica - we'll go with low 5's today huh??

Debbie - nicely done as always.

Hi Everyone

I was off from work last night so I could Trick or Treat with my boys. So today I was able to kick it up. And I *needed* to kick it up, due to some Halloween indulgences.... :eek:

I partook in World HIIT Day! I did Cathe's Pyramid HiiT AFTER I did the first workout of Meso 2, (Disc 13), Chest, Shoulders and Triceps! The tri-sets with a minute in between definitely have changed things up! I'm sure I"ll be feeling it tomorrow.

Belinda: NICE workout today! Hope your shoulder/bicep is ok! Was your DD's bday yesterday? Happy Belated Birthday to your DD!!! . We got a bunch of tick or treaters. People come with car loads of kids and walk our street. Though we have a LOT of leftover too. Ruh roh!..

Debbie: Nice job on pushing the weights... AGAIN! :eek:

Roxie: Sounds like you're doing an HiiT too!!! YAY!! GOOD job on the lost inches!!!!:eek:

Jessica: Nice job on Disc 7!! I'm kind of happy Meso 1 is over for me , I was very tired of those push ups!

DDs surgery went well but she is in alot of pain. I haven't been able to get her to eat but I am getting ready to give her a heavy duty pain pill and then maybe she will sleep. Her Dh isn't coming home until 5 so I might have to give up on core tonite and do it in the morning.
 
Glad she made it out ok. I had to have all of mine removed my senior year - not fun not fun. Hope she heals quickly!

World Wide HiiT Day...WOOHOO! I was going to take a rest day but how can I possibly pass that up?!?!?! I'll do 30/30 tonight even though my legs are dom-y from yesterday...:cool:

There were four adults driving around my neighborhood last night in a Ghost Busters car. Looked exactly like the one in the movie. They were all dressed like ghost-busters. It was playing the song and everything. It was a riot!!!

Chris - DD was a salt shaker. It was so cute! What were the boys? Glad to hear you got to go trick or treating with them...:D

Roxie - ouch...I hope your DD feels better soon. Way to go on being down 1.5 inches!!

Heather - sorry to hear that your trip got postponed...:(

Jessica - I'm with you. I love to hate HiiT, too. I'll do it, but I won't be happy about it. Until I'm done, of course. ;)

I did workout and just finished, yay! I even did a HiiT workout today with Cathe's World Wide HiiT challenge today.

Here's today's workout:

STS Cardio: HiiT-Pyramid= 30min
Met Value= 10.0
Calories burned= 445
I just love Cathe's Shock Cardio HiiT workouts, love the super intensity cardio challenge and that they are short, but pack a serious wallop!:p

Body Blast Series: Supersets= 53 Min
Met Value= 7.0
Calories burned= 507
I haven't done this workout for a couple of years now so it was fun and revisit this one. Supersets is really cool and I love the way its sequenced. It's Cathe so of course its all great.:)

Total calories burned= 952:cool:

Debbie- Wow! Those are some impressive weights for Chest and Back, I know I'm no worthy of your awesome weights. You are amazing and inspire me to keep on lifting heavy and I'll improve over time. You rocked that workout, girl!!:cool:

Roxie- Awesome workout you have planned of TF HiiT 15, 4DS Back & Bi's, and maybe even TF Core 20. It does sound like a great workout to me. I'm glad to hear that your DD wisdom teeth surgery went well. Ugh, I bet she feels awful for a awhile, poor thing. I hope that the pain and swelling subside and she can be more comfortable. Your a good mom to take her to the doctor and take care of her. ;):) BRAVO! on your 1.5 inches lost in the abs and hips.:eek::cool:

Heather- Sorry about things not working out for your Seattle trip. Nice 5.5 mile run Friday and 9 mile hike on saturday, that is truly fantastic! You meantioned doing a 3 mile run today, that should feel very doable for you. Also, and excellent workout! You are rockin' the workouts girlfriend WTG!!

Chris- Yes, I'm feeling better. No, I didn't go to the E.R. I was afraid I'd have to. I was fine Saturday and I was 18 min into Cardio Fusion when I had this excruciating pain and pressure I felt like it could have been a hernia or something like that. Then I thought it could be Hemmoroids but I'm okay today as if it never happened. So weird Saturday and Sunday were not fun for me I had to rest on one side seemed to be the only way to get comfortable. If I'd get up to walk anywhere I felt like my guts were going to fall out on my left side. Last time I felt like that was when I had a C-section years and years ago and felt like that when a stitch popped. I was assured that was ok as long as it was on the outside. I don't know what the heck happened to me Saturday, I'm baffled. I did check my symptoms with Web Md to see if there was anything that I was experiencing that was on their check list for needing medical attention right away, and there wasn't. Awesome job of joining us for the World Wide HiiT fun today. Just to top it off I see you did STS Disc 13 Meso 2 Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps, that's a toughie. I think of all of the STS Meso 2 and 3 are my favorites. I like Meso 1 but all those push ups nearly did me in. LOL!! You did STS first then HiiT Pyramid, you are a amazon that is amazing. You rocked both workouts today, WTG!!!;)

Melissa- Yay! Another Cathlete that joined in on World Wide HiiT day! I'm happy you joined in on the fun and the sweatfest you were in great company too!:cool::) Love the Ghost Busters Car and no doubt big kids participating in halloween I love their going all the way with the car, costumes and song. So much fun, I'd be laughing and enjoying that one too! Have a great night!;):)

CHEST:

Incline Dumbbell Press - 26's/12 reps - 4 sets, up 1#

Decline Dumbbell Press - 26's/12 reps - 4 sets, up 1 #

Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 24's/12 reps - 1 sets, up 1 #
Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 23's/12 reps - 3 sets, had to go down in weight, had a lot of pain in my shoulder/bice!

TRICEPS:
Double-Arm Overhead Tricep Extension - 32#/12 reps - 3 sets, up 2#

Weighted Bench Dips - 50#/12 reps - 3 sets, same as week 4!

Dumbbell Kickbacks - 14#/12 reps - 3 sets, up 1#

As you can see, I didn't push it that hard today. I was afraid of my shoulder/biceps. Didn't wanted to make it worst. I do want to finish this rotatation.:eek:
