This week is my recovery week and I am up a 5 am:confused: what's up with that?

Haven't decited what cardio I will do today:eek:

First rest day. Felt really good to sleep in, especially after losing an hour this weekend. I hate time changes. Wish they'd just leave it alone already.

Hi ladies. Saturday I got in 7.9 miles (if I'd known it was 7.9, I would have run another tenth LOL). Yesterday was weights and some cardio:

2 sets of 15 reps done as straight sets.

Double-arm triceps kickbacks - 12's
Lateral shoulder raise - 11's
Pullovers - 25
Incline (DB) chest press - 20's
Incline biceps curls - 13's
Squats - 40
Plie Squats - 40

Firewalkers - 2x6
Weighted donkey kicks - 2x18
Roll ins and hip lifts on ball for hamstrings
Inner thigh squeezes with ball

I did the high intensity HiiT segment from Intensity to hit the legs more then did just 2 combos from MMA Kickboxing (love boxing/kickboxing after upper body weights) then the abs from High Reps.

Today is wet, dreary, and sleepy! I had hoped for an outside run, but it looks like I'll probably just hit the gym and split up cardio between the treadmill and the elliptical.

I had a tough weekend, had a horrible headache saturday night at work, and it didn't get any better Sunday, so I called out sick. I slept ALOT and finally this morning, I had just a very dull ache and a little fog.

Today's workout was Pyramid Upper Body. Great workout! I felt a little off to start, but by mid-way felt really good!

Belinda: So you left us hanging, what did you do?

Debbie: I slept so much yesterday/last night, the time change really didn't hit me, yet.

Heather: 7.9 miles! too funny! the HiiT from Intensity is great, love the hi and then the low to follow. Nice weights yesterday!!!

Well ladies, I had a killer workout weekend and I totally paid for it today. My run was HORRIBLE this morning. And it's because my legs were dead and I haven't had a rest day since last Tues. Sooo I'm kicking myself because the run was just dreadful. BUT trying to realize that it was bound to happen and at least the "bad run" is now behind me and I can move on to good runs in the future, right??

I think because I did two leg heavy workouts this weekend (Group Ride on Sat, Group Kick on Sun) that my legs were just not ready for another leg heavy workout today. So I'm chalking it up to that and moving on. I am hoping to get some Core Fusion in tonight though, haven't done that since Friday so it's time.

After today my posting will be sporadic, I'm heading to Austin for a trade show so I'll try to check in but I can't make any promises!

Belinda - I hear you, the time change has been awful. SO tired today too.

Debbie - ditto to you on the time change. At least you got some extra rest today though hopefully!

Heather - as usual, awesome weekend workouts. Good luck at the gym tonight!

Chris - bummer on the headache! but at least it passed enough for you to do PUB, LOVE that workout!

Sorry, I'm late for checking in. I am not feeling well stomach stuff and didn't think I could finish my workouts today but I soldiered on. I don't think I'll be back for personals tonight, sorry.

I've been seriously stressing out about the Tsunami and now the nuclear reactor issues and radiation etc... I only had 3.5 hours sleep last night and have been fighting digestive and stomach issues all day. Stress and my body don't play well together, :p

I never got a workout in today, lol:confused: I was cleaning my floors instead. I did take a long walk with the dogs, if that counts:eek:

Roxie - good job, on getting PUB in tonight.

Jess - sounds like you need a good rest day. Give those legs a break after your killer workout. Our time change is next Sunday.

Chris - ((HUGS)) glad your hadache are getting a little better. Hate those! Take it easy, girl!

Heather - WOW, on your 7.9 miler! That's awesome, girl;) Nice weights yesterday.

Debbie - glad you sleep in this morning. I agree, on the time change. Makes no sense?

Nora - (((HUGS))) hope you feel better with your stomach issue and stess! Watching the news is depressing these days....
