Crazy, strong & loving it for June!!

So I was fine when I got up this morning. No pain. I was sitting on the couch and I stretch a little and now that damn muscle that goes down the length of my left side between my shoulder blade and spine feels all twisted again.

I did cardio anyways. I feel like such a slug lately. I chose Cardio Coach #3 and had a fairly decent workout.

CARDIO STATS:
40 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
18 minutes in zone
17 minutes above zone
324 calories burned
2 miles traveled


I foam rolled and will ice here shortly. I hope this goes away. Tomorrows workout will happen depending on how this feels. Getting really sick of this crap. :confused:
 
Today was Total Body Trisets, Upper Body Premix.

Debbie: Oh no! I don't even know what to say except that totally sucks!! Hope it's short lived...

Belinda: That MMA boxing is fun! Love temple smashes ! :eek:

Nora: I pre-ordered the KCMs! I didn't last time, and was mad that I missed out.

Roxie: Great work at the PT last night! "just showing" pregnant in 100 degrees is better than 9 months and busting in 100 degrees!! LOL!.
 
Hi girls!;)

I just finished getting my daily butt kickin' by Shaun T with Insanity. Yep, and strangely enough I liked it! It seems it just isn't much of a workout if I don't feel I gave it my all and am drenched in sweat. See, what Cathe has done, she sets the bar very high for other trainers to give me that feeling in their workouts. Shaun T is fun and I do work super hard pushing myself to the max and doing all I can at my fitness level and for my MS and its issues. I feel each tough workout I make it though be it with Cathe, Shaun T, KCM or whomever, is a victory because I made it and I can move to even attempt it. So, that to me is an awesome victory. I don't even try to keep up with the people in the Insanity infomercial because I'm not twenty something and not at my best physical condition. My aim is to improve my personal fitness level and progress in my health.

Here's today's workout:

Insanity- Cardio Power & Resistance= 40 Min
Met Value= 11.50
Calories burned= 628

This was a fun butt kickin' puke worthy give it your all workout!;)

Tonite I went to the gym and did the elliptical but it is so hot here that I didn't enjoy it. I want to go to spin class in the morning before it gets hot.

Hi all. No workout today. Yesterday by the end of the day my pain was back up to about an 8-9. Now it's probably at a 7-8. I think I need to just sleep for a week straight, no move and then maybe this stupid problem will heal. I've researched and really can't find anything that may help me. :(
 
Good Morning,

I didn't get to the gym this morning and I am going to wish I would have its suppose to be 105 with a heat index of 108 and the gym was hot last night. I don't know if its the heat but for some reason I ache all over and its not muscle soreness just plain ache.

Today was Low Impact Step Challenge (from LIS). I almost died at the end. Had a rough night with no sleep due to my son's blood sugars. This workout seriously beat me up. Plus I have WICKED core DOMS. Wow. BUT, i got it done!!! Now I hope to chillax the rest of the day (ya, right, LOL!)

Debbie: Have you looked into a pinched nerve? So weird to just come on so suddenly and hurt so bad like that. It isn't because of your workouts, you've been SO careful!!!

Nora: You are INSANE :eek::eek: but in a good way! Nice job on your workout yesterday with Sean.

Roxie: WOW, it is hot there! I think hot/humid is coming our way, but seriously, the last 2 days have been Fall like temps . BEAUTIFUL!

Belinda: I really am enjoying this rotation! Not sure what I'm going to do next week. ... I was thinking of the STS/LIS 3 month rotation, but I have vacation at the end of July. Unless that would fit as a recovery week. I'm going to check it out. Or maybe see what Cathe has for July.

THE NEW WORKOUTS ARE COMING THIS WEEK! I'll def want to do those next week!!
 
Chris - good job on LIS, that one is tough. Do you remember how much you paid for the org. presale price on Cathe's new workouts? If I remember correctly, it came out to $42 with shipping:eek::eek: I can't remember?? I can't wait for your review on those.

I see you all are doing amazing things, congrats & bravo to you all. I'm not doing so well today. Extreme fatigue, dizzyness, and profound weakness as in typing this and the act of walking are skills I barely can perform today. I'm guessing its MS. I don't feel up to personals today, so please understand.

The balancing poses were iffy and a bit dangerous for me today, I did what I could and skippe what I could not.

I went to the gym tonite and did the elliptical and it was hot in there the ac can't keep up we hit 105 today with a heat index of 114.

Nora-take care of yourself this heat is sucking the life out of me.

Today was Slide N Glide. I'm not a total fan of the disc cardio. I don't mind a few moves with them, but all of it was kind of much. ... But it got done. I DO like the stengthening moves with the discs and firewalker band though!

Belinda: The original presale cost with S&H was $39.92. I can't wait either! Or can I? :eek:

I went to spin class this morning and tonite I have a PT session again which I am not looking forward to its suppose to be hot again today.

Chris-I know a lady on another forum who received her workouts and thought one of them was easier then AT.

really? Easier than AB? AB is TOUGH! Maybe a tiny bit easier would be ok. LOL!

Wasn't feeling well this morning...DH came home a few day's ago with a stomach virus. My stomach is upset since yesterday, but didn't border me during my workout, weird! I just finished MMA Boxing + HiiT DWP.

Thanks Chris! There isn't a big difference beween the presale and the price now:confused: I am not a big fan of that workout either, mine don't slide on my carpet in the basement. WTG!

I just finished my workout for today. I did start it late because I had to spend the morning resting on the couch with my cornpillows in hopes of elviating the pain enough to where I could workout. I'm not dizzy so far today so balance is better but there is a lot of cramping and bloating in the abdomen area. It really hurts when I do any jumping moves or half to be leaning over having most of my weight centered leaning over gut. Sort of makes me wonder if that might possibly mean a hernia? Just wondering. I sure hope not. Anywho, I'll just check in now.

I did modify some of the impact moves as per my body today and trying to keep pain on the down low. I still got an Insane tough workout though, just wish my gut would feel better.

Chris- Nicely done with slide n glide workout. I agree there are a few moves with the discs that just don't feel right for me and my body lets me know about it. I do find that the discs are fantastic for core and legs. Great job today~:D;)

Roxie- Great job with your spin class this morning. I hope you have a great session tonight with your PT despite the yucky too warm temps. Have an awesome workout tonight~;) I feel for you on the too high temps it really effects so much with MS its become my kryptonite. It really weakens me a makes moving and walking nearly impossible. Keep cool, perhaps a cooling neck tie would be helpful when exercising. I like to keep a water bottle handy with Ice and cold water, that helps me maybe see if that might work for you too. I know it also helps if I keep my hair up off of my neck and face by putting it up with a clamp thingy and use a head band to ensure stray hairs are off my face as well. Keep cool Hugs!;):)

The training session was tough but afterwards we weighed and my wt. is down 1/2lb but bf% is up 1% but I know I need to change something on the elliptical I am not burning as many calories. The gym wasn't as hot tonite but Thursday and Friday nights are not very busy so I think that helped.

Nora-I have a Brita water bottle that I keep in the refrig at home and then take it with me to the gym. For someone who isn't feeling well you burned some major calories.

Chris-good job with your workout today.

Belinda-I hope you feel better tomarrow and good job gettting a workout in.
 
Hi everyone. Feeling a bit better but it's still there. I've been stretching and trying to have good posture and that has made a good difference. My posture is horrible when I'm in pain. I've been stretching and that helps too, but still, no workouts. I'm having a hard time turning my head from left to right and my traps feel so inflamed. It is better today, but I'm laying off the workouts for a while.

Belinda - No, I didn't order Cathe's new workouts. I have no clue what they even are. I did just order her Yoga Relax workout, though. I hope it's good and I hope there is a lot of upper body stretches in it.

Double workout for me! Turbo Barre (did 60 minutes of it, no abs, no stretch) and then did HiiT 30/30!! YOWZA! :eek:

Nora: Ya. I agree. You work out harder than I do when you're SICK! Damn , girl!!! You are such an inspiration!

Belinda: Hope you are ok today and not sick. My DH came home this morning with a little fever, cough, sorethroat. ew. stay away! far far away! LOL! Nice job on YOUR double workout yesterday!

Debbie: Have you looked into a pinched nerve? Just something to think about. Glad you're a little better at least...
