After my coffee, I will do Chest & Tricpes today. Slept good last night. Went to bed a 8 pm and didn't woke up until 7 am! Woke up a few times, but nothing like the last 3 weeks:)

Today was Chest and Triceps supersets. My tricpes are fried! Had an awesome workout. I also did STS abs "Medicine ball abs + with a partner " 19 min. Did that one with my DD!

WARMUP:
1 min. rest between each set

Incline Barbell Press & Overhead Extensions - 55#/20# - 12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)

CHEST/TRICEPS:
1 min. 30 second rest between each superset.

Incline Barbell Press -80 #/8 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Overhead Dumbbell Extension - 30#/8 reps - 3 sets

SS #2
Flat Bench Dumbbell Press - 30's#/10 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Lying EZ Curl Bar Extensions - 40#/10 reps - 3 set


SS #3
Incline Dumbbell Flyes - 20's#/12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Weighted Bench Dips - 40#/12 reps - 3 sets

SS #4
Pushups w/Toes on Stability Ball - 12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
SS pushups - 12 reps - 3 sets

***One of my cats layed between my legs on my bench the whole time I did this superset. What a dork!

Lying EZ Curl Bar Extensions - 45#/10 reps - 2 sets
Lying EZ Curl Bar Extensions - 45#/8 reps - 1 set
***This exercise really gets me good. Had a hard time with the 3rd set.

Incline Dumbbell Flyes - 27's#/12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Weighted Bench Dips - 55#/12 reps - 3 sets
***Felt good with this superset.

SS #4
Pushups w/Toes on Stability Ball - 12 reps - 2 sets

Hi Girls!!

Had a busy night at work last night... So glad my work "week" is over!

This week is recovery week after STS. I did FIRE 30 Class from Turbo Fire and also the Stretch 10 (12 really) class, plus 8 more minutes of my own stretches.

I'm going to do a "cardio" week, and next week try to find something with GS and/or S&H for a rotation. I could have sworn you did something like that on a rotation, Debbie, right? I need to look!

Belinda: WOW that's some great catch up sleep! And the weight work is killer!! Good job!

Debbie: Nice weights today too!!! KICKIN as usual!! I love Med Ball abs!
 
Well I'm checking in late but still checking in! I had an AWESOME first day at the new gig. I felt so welcomed and appreciated all ready and I already know that this is the right job for me. I'll feel challenged and passionate about my job again which is what I've been missing for far too long. I LOVE it!!! Yippee!!!

The only downer was lack of sleep last night. Could NOT stop thinking about work so ended up nixing the AM workout to sleep soundly for another hour or so. It was worth it even though it meant a late workout and a rumbly tummy afterwards! I did M3 W2 chest/back - LOVE the push/pull effect. I already feel sore I swear! Love, love, love STS! Can't believe I only have a couple more weeks of this rotation! Then what?!?

Debbie - totally LOL'd at your comment about your cat! Mine do that all the time, they LOVE to crawl under me when I do planks. Anytime I'm on the floor, they will NOT leave me alone. So cute. Makes me giggle every time.

Belinda - nicely done on the weights AND the extra sleep! Sounds like you needed it!

Nora - I caught up with your workout last night, great workout!! And thank you for the kind words, it feels GREAT to be out of jail as you can tell ;-)

Killer, nearly puke status!


Ab Hits-Ab Workout #6 Slow& Heavy Tri's+Bi's= 8 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 55


Total Calories burned= 500

Belinda- Bravo on your Chest and Tri's Supersets and STS Ab circuit medball abs. Wow, pushups on your toes on stability ball, I'm so not worthy! You go girl, way to rock the workout!;):)

Debbie- I see you did Chest and Tri's Supersets and your kitty was hanging out to cheer you on. That's so cute! Excellent weight work today, as always you killed it! WTG!!!:):cool:

Chris- I know you said its your STS recovery week, congrats! So, you couldn't stand the resting and did Turbo Fire 30 and Stretch 10 Classes and added some of your own stretches as well. Great job, I love Turbo Fire its so fun. I even reach for it now, I love the music and you can't help but move and catch some of Chalene's enthusiasm. Great recovery workout today and it sounds like you needed a fun energizing workout after a tough work day, so that being done rest and relax.;):cool:

Jessica- Bravo on your excellent first day~ CONGRATS!! I'm so happy for you. Jessica you held out until the right job came along and when it did you pounced on it, well done! I wish you all the best at your new job. Nicely done, on STS M3 W2 Chest and Back. I agree with you about STS being da bomb! It just doesn't get old or tired and neither do the results. I tend to take a break from STS after I complete a round and just do Cathe's other strength workouts which are awesome too but different than STS. I'm sure you'l find something else to do as far as subbing for STS. Congrats again on the first day at your new job. Hugs!;):cool:

Debbie - Thanks! You always impress me with your weights! DD loves your rotation, she's been working out with me. What rotation are you gonna do next? You are done this week, right? I was thinking doing another round of STS after my recovery week?? My DH will retire in May after 31 years in the military, if my math is right, I will fit in another round of STS:p

Chris - enjoy your recovery week. Awesome job, on TF & stretch today. My sleeping improved big times. LOL!

Jess - hope get some sleep tonight. I needed the ectra sleep. Awesome job, on your back/chest workout today.

Nora - wtg, on DWP & ab workout today. You rocked it, girl! WTG!
