I did the original Low Impact Step lower body cardio blast before work it didn't hurt like it use to. Thought I posted this last night guess not. I did Musclemax Upper Body Only premix this morning.

Debbie-good job doing something thats the wa I felt yesterday walked on the TM just to say I did something.

This was an awesome Low Impact HiiT workout and the Bonus Abs 2 was great as well, I'd have to say another winner workouts for Cathe, loved them!!

I forgot to post this morning. I did a weight workout on my own and wrote down all my weights, etc. but left it at work. Duh!!! I worked upper body this is what I did if I remember correctly. I did this in superset fashion.

Barbell Press: 55# - 3 sets/12 reps
Dumbbell Rows: 12's - 3 sets/12 reps

Dumbbell Flyes: 15's - 3 sets/12 reps
One Arm Row: 25# - 3 sets/10 reps

Incline Dumbbell Press: 25's - 3 sets/10 reps
Bent Over Lateral Raise: 12's - 3 sets/12 reps

Overhead Shoulder Press: 12's - 3 sets/10 reps
Lateral Raise: 8's - 3 sets/12 reps

Upright Rows: 25# - 3 sets/10 reps
Front Raises: 5's - 3 sets/12 reps

Dumbbell Curls: 12's - 3 sets/12 reps
Close Grip Tricep Press: 45# - 3 sets/10 reps

Hammer Curls: 15's - 3 sets/12 reps
Overhead Tricep Extension: 25# - 3 sets/12 reps

Workout took about 50 minutes. I had fun with it!!!
 
Today I did PiYo Core. Wow, what a great workout that is!!! I really felt my abs burning doing that workout. Only thing is at the end she did a lot of side planks and I do them with my knee on the floor and that was making my knees hurt a bit, especially my left one. When I did a workout by Cathe and it had an exercise similar to that in it (clamshell exercise) it made my left knee swell up this summer. I hope it doesn't happen again. I had to stop at times because it was so uncomfortable.

But other than that, I love it!!!!

Total calories burned= 776

Wow, still having major DOMS from the first Ripped with HiiT Lift It with Back, Bi's, & shoulders on Tuesday so this time I went lighter than Cathe for those. I did lift the same for the most part with her on Tuesday and boy its painful now after doing 35# DB one arm rows or triceps work with the one DB. Yikes I can't believe I lifted that. So, yes the weight work is way tougher than STS I think and I love that its shorter and doesn't need as much equipment. It was fun seeing Al, Brenda and Deezie again. They are great as are Jai and Amanda and the new blonde lady.

Debbie- Glad you liked PiYo Core I haven't tried that yet as my wrists are sore from Ripped with HiiT but will try it soon. Congrats on doing PiYo Core. Have a blessed day!

No workout for me today I have had a migraine since yesterday didn't sleep well.

Debbie-awesome wt workout glad you had fun.
 
Today I worked my legs and it felt great to be able to do that. Still being very cautious with weights, but all-in-all, it went well.

Leg Press Station: 135# - 3 sets/10 reps
Calf Press: 135# - 3 sets/20 reps
Dumbbell Squats: 15's - 3 sets/10 reps
Deadlifts: 45# - 3 sets/12 reps

Then I got on my treadmill and walked at a fast pace on an incline for 1 mile.

Roxie - I hope you feel better. I've been battling headaches again as well. Take it easy. You've done some great workouts this week so don't sweat it!

Belinda - You have to do PiYo Core! I am sore in my abs from that workout. Loved it. Just a bit hard on the knees at the end, but so far so good with mine.

Nora - So Ripped is the new Cathe workouts, right? Is the weight lifting DVD's just weight lifting? I thought this series mixed cardio with weights. I may purchase the weight ones, they sound good.

So have we lost Chris? She hasn't posted in forever. I sure hope she's ok. Anyone talk to her?

I just finished my workout because I had a doctor's appointment for my annual exam, ugh. One thing he could tell me was that my blood pressure the lower number was higher than he'd like to see. So to me that means I need to watch salt in take, eat clean, and void pop etc... I don't eat fast food at all can't afford it, hey a perk of being poor. LOL!!

Sorry for not checking it yesterday. DH and I met up with Aleisa in Bethesda (Navel Exchange), MD to do some last minute xmas shopping. I still did my workouts!

Today I will do XT Legs premix 2 = 67 min + SBF Barre Fire 3 = 30 min and JS D20 Amazing abs.

Debbie - I am so gonna give PiYo Core a whirl this weekend. Glad you having fun with these workouts.

Roxie - hope you feel better soon. The weather isn't helping.

I ended up doing LM CXWORX (FB wo) = 50 min. Really liked it. I also did P57 Thigh Seat Buster = 30 min. I will get a nice stretch in later today.

I didn't workout again yesterday didn't feel well and my moods have been all over the place kind of lost the desire. Today I did 4DS KB cardio only and SJP step only. Thanks everyone for the well wishes on the migraines I thought I had them under control.
 
Hi Girls...

I apologize again for being MIA. My full time job at home has been my 15 year old son. Still. And I'm just overwhelmed with it most of the time. I barely get in what I'm supposed to do during the day. And what time I spend online is FB or Words with Friends or Song Pop. LOL!

It's good to see you all getting into workouts though! Last time I was here, Debbie, you were tired of workouts and wasn't feeling them at all! So it's awesome to see you into weights and PIYO!

I did get the new RWH workouts. I started them this week. I have been doing the December Rotation, so this was my first week of them. I really like them so far. ESPECIALLY the weight work. I've been in a constant state of DOMS all week! LOL! Good shorter workouts and there are great premixes.

I'll try to come around more often!

If I don't get back before Christmas (but I will try!), I hope you all have a great holiday with friends and family!
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a puke status workout. I worked hard!!! Knees have no pain in them anymore but they do feel like they swell up when I run. I think as long as I keep it at 30-40 minutes, they are fine. So far...

Workout was 40 minutes, ran 2.3 miles and burned about 334 calories.

Chris - Excellent to see you again!!! I'm sorry you are continually going through stuff with your son. You have my curiosity peaked as to what he is doing but I know it's none of my business. I sure hope he straightens out soon.

Ripped w/HiiT-Plyo HiiT Two- Premix #5 Plyo HiiT two + Bonus Abs One= 33 Min
MV= 9.0
CB= 405

This was a fun one with Ripped w/HiiT Plyo Two and I added Bonus Abs One. I think I will need to modify some of the moves. The first one rig ht after warm up was tricky for me with my MS Balance so I did modify that one and a couple of others to better accomodate my balance issues for safety. This was fun loved the fresh moves and Cathe does not disappoint at all she gets ya good. Great workout and very fun to do.

Total calories burned= 752

Chris- HI so glad to see you here:) I am sorry to hear your feeling overwhelmed with things right now. I will pray for you and your son. Oh, I totally hear you on the continuous DOMS same here. Its the gift Cathe gave us that keeps on giving. LOL!!! I think this set seems to be much harder than STS with weights yet its faster and doesn't require additional equipment purchases or set up and take down like STS. Don't get me wrong STS is awesome I just always felt it was too long etc., good program though. Weight wise it feels like a hybrid of XTrain and STS sort of feel, I love it! Nice to see your doing Ripped with HiiT as well now we can share our experiences with it. Please take care and enjoy your challenging workouts it will help with the stress helping your to feel better. Merry Christmas!!
