Crazy, Strong & Loving It for 6/9

Ankle is much better today, I can put my weight on it without screaming. LOL! The splint they gave me really helps. I'm thankful. At this rate I'll be working legs next Wednesday and possible doing some light cardio.

So today was suppose to be legs. Obviously I took a rest day. Tomorrow is my mom's surgery so again, a rest day. Friday I plan on doing Back & Triceps and then probably will take the weekend off and start again on Monday. I'll go by how I feel working my legs next week.

Please say a prayer for my mom so everything goes ok. I'm sure it will but prayers are always welcome.
 
Good Morning,

I will finally be able to go for a walk when I get off work and then I will do CLX Burn Circuit 2. Woke up at 4am with a horrible migraine and it is still hanging on, I am back to not eating enough and not drinking enough water.

Debbie-glad to hear your ankle is feeling better and I will keep mom in my thoughts and prayers.
 
Hi ladies! Halfway through the week, we're almost there, right? Today I went to Ride which was good, though the first couple of tracks were brutal for me. I just couldn't get moving, my body felt like complete lead. I hate that feeling - I think its due to PMS coming next week, I'm always WAY tired the week or two beforehand. Boo. And I did manage to run last night, about 4.2 miles or so and again shin splints plagued me but I ran on. need to do those strengthening exercises ASAP!

As for abs, I ran out of time last night before dinner and didn't have time for them this morning after Ride so I failed you Roxie! I will do them tonight, before bed, how's that??

Roxie - ok, you keep me honest about abs and I'll keep you honest about drinking enough water and eating enough, how's that sound?

Debbie - I'll say a prayer for your mom today. I hope everything turns out ok. And I'm glad your ankle is starting to feel better. Hang in there! By next week you'll be good as new.

Roxie - sorry to hear you woke up with a migraine. I had serious problems with those when I was younger and still get them occasionally so I feel your pain...:( Enjoy your workout tonight.

Jessica - nice job pushing through your workout this morning. I was going to give you a hard time about not getting your ab workout in, but I can't remember the last time I worked mine...:eek:

Another early morning workout for me today. Hand is up and waiting for a virtual high-five from Jessica. Don't leave me hanging...:p

I was supposed to do Leaner Legs but opted for PLB instead. For some reason I thought PLB would be better first thing in the morning because it's pretty straight-forward but I forgot about all the plate changes...ugh! I made it through though.

Debbie - hope your ankle is better and I'll be thinking about your mom today.

I wanted to report that I actually got DH to do a beach boot camp yesterday. I ran for 20 mins on the treadmill before we went to the beach. We did the following circuit twice through. Each exercise was done for 20 seconds in the soft part of the sand with a 1 minute rest before the next sprint:
Sprint
Burpees
Push ups
Sprints
Squat jumps
Ski jumps
Sprint
Push ups
Plie jumps
Sprint
Walking lunges
Plyo jacks

I loved it. It was so much fun. It was a love/hate thing for him though. Evil Grin. He's not used to doing these types of workouts at all. I could have easily done a 3rd round but he would have killed me!

I'm about to head down for a run then either Travel Fit (though I brought the wrong bands, didn't bring yellow) or some KPC.

I promise to be back to normal with checking in next week.

Back again, sorry for my inconsistency, I promise to be better at this. Been a rough few days, one of my kitties is sick, mysteriously lost 2 lbs (a meager 5.8 lbs...) which I found out on Monday after I brought her to the vet for a bleeding nose (which, btw, is very sad to watch happen). She's only 7 (barely) and I just hope she's ok. Time will tell.

So, my workout today was Ride, along with Jess. I was pretty tired, worrying a lot the last two days, but it was good to get out of the house (been at home with my cats to watch Nala).

Debbie - extra prayers to your mom.

Melissa - awesome on the AM workout. Jess told me about that, so great you are loving it.

Roxie - migraines - ugh, the worst. Good luck tonight.

Jessica - *chest bump* to you sis, good effort ;-)

I just finished my workout eventhough its supposed to be my rest week, LOL!!:rolleyes:

Here's today's workout:

Cardio Coach Volume 2= 37min
Calories burned=480

BPM's= 80% to 87% of Max Heart rate for 26 Min In the zone. 11 min below zone.

KCM- 30Min to Fitness Wts- Premix 1a with abs= 30 Min
Calories burned= 246

Total calories burned= 726;)

Debbie- I'm sorry about your ankle, been there done that lots of times. I'm glad that its feeling better.

I'll be back for personals later. I did do personals yesterday but I hit submit when I was done for it to post and I lost my internet at the same time so it didn't go through. When I had internet several hours later I couldn't use my right hand so I didn't retype stuff. I hope everyone understands. Anyways, I should be back later for personals, have a great day girls!;)
