Crazy, Strong and Loving it for September 2014!!

Good morning,

Today I will do 1 Body part a week and SBF Barre = 55 min.

We finally got to meet my son's fiancé parents:D It also was their 35th Anniversary:D We had a blast with them yesterday. Aleisa cooked us brunch and dinner. It was yummy. She cooked so I didn't stood in the kitchen all day and had a change to get to meet DS's future mother in law.

Thanks Chris! I have to give my dentist a call today. I woke up with pain again and had some in the afternoon. Sorry about your son. Hope he will realize one of those day's the headache he is giving you.

Roxie - when will you run your next race? Good job on your runs.

Nora - wtg, on your run as well.

Debbie - you had a nice weekend.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I did but it went by way too fast again.

Today I did the upper body premix of High Reps. Had an ok workout, this one isn't my favorite. Didn't really know what to do this week - I'm getting a little burned out on Xtrain. I'm ready for a week off. I might do that next week or the first week in October.

Chris - Good to see you again and sorry to hear about your son. I know how aggrevating it can be. I hope he starts to behave soon. I'm sorry you are going through that.

I did Cardio & Weights minus the abs then spent the morning grocery shopping and cleaning house. I forgot how tough this workout is I can feel it already.

Debbie-good job with your workout even though you didn't enjoy it and I hear you about burning out really had to make myself workout today.

Belinda-good job with your workout. I don't plan on running another race just want to keep up the running.

Chris-you doing C&W inspired me to do it. I never really liked Body Max 2 the step section was confusing.

Cardio Coach Vol. 2- My short mix= 20 Min On TM
MV= 9.50

Distance = 1.65 Miles Used incline% and speed for interval work

Body Beast- Build Block #1 Back & Bi's= 50 Min
MV= 6.0
CB= 410

Total calories burned= 690;)

Belinda- So glad you are going to the dentist about your tooth pain, I'll be wishing you all the best as I'm sure the dentist can help. Nice workout today to BTW with TB Classic Barre + stretch = 55 min. Hang in there and just know we all hope your tooth pain will be taken care of today. Be well and pain free today. ;):)

Debbie- Nice workout you did today with upper body premix of High Reps. It may not be your go to but its still a decent workout. If you are wondering about what other workouts weight wise to do may I suggest: Pure Strength, weight sections from 4DS, or Power Hour. Its fun to revisit some of the ones not done in a while it keeps things fresh. Or if those don't interest you I'm sure you'll decide what to do that suits you best. Good job getting Upperbody premix of High Reps done today, WTG!!!

Chris- Welcome backl girlfriend, you were missed! I hope things are getting better with your son, hang in there. So, what wonderful kick butt awesome workout do you have on tap for today? Have you started another round of BB? If not when? I'm just curious as I just started back today on week 3 Build Block #1 after a week and a half or so off for injury. Hi again! (I'm on a roll here!)

I worked last night. Today on the May 14 Rotation was High Reps. I don't remember loving this workout , either, Debbie! So I subbed Body Beast Total Body. I'd never done that one before. It was a good workout, it moved quickly, kind of like a circuit, but with quick weight moves, no formal cardio.

Nora, I'm not really planning another round of BB soon. I was going to do May 14 for a month , and then hope Cathe's new workouts were going to be out soon after? We'll see. I might throw in a couple weeks or a month of BB if those workouts take a while. ... I'm glad you're feeling better to work out again! Take it easy!

Belinda, the meeting of the in-laws sounds like a good time. I understand about having to cook/entertain and not socialize. So it was super nice your future DIL did that for you.

Roxie, Good job on C&W!! That one is tough!!!! I did the Cardio & Weights premix from BM2. But I like both.

I will do SBF Stopwatch Planks = 15 min + Abs 4 = 15 min.

I went to the dentist yesterday, he put me on penicillin. He thinks he hit a nerve and I have a slide infection under my crown:roll eyes: That explains all the pain:roll eyes: He also put some sticky meds around that tooth. If the pain doesn't get any better by Thursday he has to remove the crown and see what's going on. I hope the meds will do the trick.

Chris - it was my DD that did all that cooking. It was super nice of her. Good job with your workouts.

Nora - nice job on BB and CC. How are you feeling?

Roxie - good for you about keeping up running. I need to get out their some day. C&W is a good one.

Today I got on my treadmill and walked for 2 miles. That was all I could do. Both my knees are killing me right now so I think I'm going to take the rest of this week off and next week off. I know it's more than a week, but I am really needing the break. With both my knees and my left elbow hurting right now, it's silly to keep pushing it. I may do some stretch and yoga workouts sometime next week, that may do me well. I need to let my body rest for a while.

I'll be in here reading what you are all doing, though. So have great workouts!

Nora - I'm glad you are feeling better! Glad to see you working out again. Just be careful!!!

Roxie - I'm glad to hear you will keep up the running, as well! I love to run now and I remember really hating it. I just wish I could do more of it.

Belinda - Ouch on the tooth! I sure hope it goes away so he doesn't have to take the crown off. Sorry you are going through that!!

Chris - High Reps certainly isn't one of Cathe's best. Nice job replacing it with something else. Total Body BB sounds like a good choice!

Ok, the ab workout did hurt a bit. So, I did what I could but didn't push it. I did give myself permission to go lighter on weights if the usual weight hurts because of rib injury.

Belinda- Great job on your workout today getting the ab burn going on. Glad that you went to the dentist yesterday for your tooth pain and were given medicine to help with the pain. Please take care and feel better ASAP!

Debbie- nice job on two mile TM walk today. I do agree with you with both knees hurting and elbow no sense to workout and keep aggravating things. A good rest week will be just the thing and like you said maybe some yoga or stretching workouts next week. Rest up and heal my friend and have a blessed day!;)

Hi Chris!:);):cool: So glad you are here, we missed you girlfriend. Wow, those overnight shifts sound brutal you are a rock star! I agree with you and Debbie on High Reps, its a good workout but I don't recall loving it except for the abs, wow those are good. Oh cool on doing BB Total Body I've not done that one either so it was nice to hear what you thought of it. I'm still sore and bruised taking it easy with weights and listening to body as to if the weight I'm using seems to hurt injury or not. If it does then I go lighter. So far that seems fine but abs where you lay on mat and have hands behind head with legs bent at 90 degrees and lifting up. Now that hurt alot just lifting upper body up towards knees, yikes I think I saw stars. I went to the dentist yesterday for a cleaning and they told me I had a ulcer in the left tonsular region and showed me. They said the tissue looked normal all around it and on the other side as well. I have to go back in December for them to look at it. Now that scared me, I just came down with allergy or cold sinus stuff so not sure if it could be to do with that or not. I terrified it might be something scary. I don't smoke or chew or anything so there's that. Still, I have never had this happen at dentist and I never knew there was something wrong. My throat felt a little scratch and sore because of what I thought was sinus drainage. I was sneezing and running nose like crazy yesterday sort of like a mass allergy attack or something. Oh well. Please pray for me or think good healing thoughts for me. I will pray for you that all will go well with your son. Have a blessed day and take care!;):)

I got little sleep last night, but had enough energy to do a KPC cardio premix. I added on Hard Strikes Heavy Bag Tabatas. Worked out to be an hour.

I'm just pooped.

I had trouble going back to sleep when DH went to work at 1:30 am so no workout this morning and then didn't feel like doing one when I got home but I did do my planks.

Debbie-running is tough to get to like. Listen to your body.

Roxie - You are so right about running. It took me years of doing it to even start liking it. Now I'm not so sure I like it, but I find I miss doing it when I can't. So I guess that's something. :)
 
Hi all!

Today I did KCM's Muscle Up , Total Body , 2 sets. It came out to 49 minutes. Great workout, I really enjoy the exercises and the heavy weights.

Roxie, WTG on those planks! Do you still do them daily?

Debbie and Roxie, I find that when I run, either way, I have always hated the first 10 minutes. But once I get by that initial "hate", I end up enjoying it a lot. I miss it, actually. I stopped when I got Plantar Fasciitis over a year ago. I should try to get into it again. I miss running outside and getting that therapeutic effect or "runner's high".

*waves* to Nora! I'm curious as to what you did today!..... And hey, try not to worry about the cyst in your throat. Especially if you just had a cold. I'm SURE if it was very suspicious of something serious your dentist would have sent you right away to your doctor or ER.

I did KCM's Home Gym Intervals 1 plus abs and it was a tough workout I love her standing ab work.

Chris-once my knees warm up running isn't so bad. Good job with your workout.

Debbie-the first lap is really tough but after that they get easier just need to do it more.

Belinda-I still do my planks everyday I feel guilty if I don't.

Roxie- WTG on KCM's Home Gym Intervals 1 plus abs, I'm thinking I should get this one at some point. I have checked out the clips for it and Athletic Conditioning and I think I will get them when I can afford too. Both clips look awesome and I like the workout with the kids and stretch look good to me. Awesome job today Roxie you are my hero. I see you did just plank abs yesterday, that's great those are not easy. Keep up the great work girlfriend!;)

Chris- Hi:D I see you've been working out today enjoying some KCM. Great job with KCM's Muscle Up , Total Body , 2 sets= 49 Min. Wow, that is killer. I think the Muscle Up one is the hardest and most old school killer weight workout of hers yet, Love it!! Congrats on an awesome workout today!;) Thanks Chris, for your input and thoughts on my throat cyst/ulcer thingy. That does help me to feel better. I think if its still there in say a couple of weeks I will see my regular doctor to see what he thinks or can tell me. THanks for the resassurance, I was scared. Debbie- I like running just never thought of doing it until I had a TM. Plus when you told me about Cardio Coach and I got them I fell back in love with running. (I was on my high school Track Team one year, I found I liked it alot but not the sprinting which is what I did, badly LOL!!) I think I was better at distance running at least at a beginner level than sprinting but hey it was fun. I'm like you once someone or circumstances tell me I can't workout or run its like all I can think about doing. I become a bit obsessed with it. I guess I'm a bit OCD that way. LOL!!

Belinda- Hope all is well with you and that your tooth pain is gone now. Plus, I hope you had a good workout today if you did so/rest day. Have a blessed day;):)

Nora - rocking those workouts. Keep it up, girl! And thanks on the tooth. It still hurts but not as much as it did 2 day's ago.

Roxie - Suzanne Bowen does a lot of planks in her workouts. Seems like every workout has planks in it:p Good job yesterday.

Chris - nice job as well.

I played with different speeds and incline % for HiiT work on TM. It was tough but fun.
