Crazy, Strong and Loving it for September 2014!!

Today I decided to do Pyramid Upper Body and had a great workout. I like that one once in a while, it's fun. This is what I did:

Chest Flies and Press - 12's/15's/20's/15's/12's (12/10/8/10/12 reps)

Pullovers - 12#/15#/20# (did not go back down, this one bothers my upper back)
Double Arm Row - 12's/15's/20's (did not go back down, same as above)

Rear Flies/Lateral Raise/Front Raise - 3's/5's/8's/5's/3's (12/10/8/10/12 reps)

Kicbacks - 3's/5's/8's/5's/3's (12/10/8/10/12 reps)
Overhead Press - 10#/12#/15#/12#/10# (12/10/8/10/12 reps)

Hammer/Traditional Curls - 8's/10's/12's/10's/8's (12/10/8/10/12 reps)

After my coffee I will do: SBF Adv. UB+Core=12 min + Stopwatch Planks (UB+Core)= 15 min.

Nora - did you order KCM new dvd's? Can you still preorder them since they haven't shipped? Not that I need anymore new dvd's:p

Roxie - fantastic job yesterday. You did a lot yesterday.

Hi girls!

I can't workout the rest of the week due to bruised ribs, so I thought I should not even attempt it and just rest. It hurts to breathe too deeply, sneeze, cough or laugh. I did do BB Build shoulders yesterday and that was painful. I thought I'd be ok since it was just shoulders and weights not chest or cardio which I knew would be too painful. I was wrong shoulders hurt a lot just the act of moving hurt so today and rest of week I will not workout and just rest. I hope my black and blue bruises subside and become less painful. If your wondering what I'm talking about please see Tuesday's post I did. Have great workouts girls and a blessed day. Please say a prayer or healing thoughts to the families and friends who lost loved ones on 911 so many years ago.

Today I did another Cardio Coach mix I made up. Had a pretty good workout. Glad I got 5 days in this week! :)

Workout was 42 minutes total, ran 2.5 miles and burned about 348 calories.

Nora - I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I'm sorry I didn't read it earlier, I haven't had much time to read through posts this week. :( I sure hope you feel better soon and please take it easy until that pain eases. {{{HUGS}}}

Roxie - I'll be thinking about you this weekend! I'll be cheering you on!! Good luck and kick butt girl!

Hi girls!;)

I'm still resting and not working out. I hope all this will help and heal me up sooner. I really miss working out. So far it looks like I will need to take off the rest of this week for sure and I'll have to see how I feel come Monday.

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday but I didn't do anything besides planks and that will probably be all for today to so I can be ready for the race tomorrow.

Belinda-KCM is hoping to ship next month. I pre-ordered the Kettlebell one because I have two of those and have never really used them much. I believe you can still pre-order but there will be shipping charges.

Nora-I hope you get healed up soon.
 
Hey girls,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. DH and I went to Hershey Park, PA They having an huge RV/Boat show. DH and I couldn't find/liked anything in our price range I liked everything $480.000 and up We came close, loved the living area but couldn't stand the restroom. The shower was tiny and the kitchen didn't had enough storage I guess, we gonna keep our RV until it doesn't drive anymore Yesterday I did SBF interval 5 = 25 min and Stopwatch Planks = 15 min. That one is a killer Today I did SBF Adv. UB + Core = 12 min + Vintage Sleek Sexy Shoulders = 10 min.

We just came home and I am tired. I will catch up on personals tomorrow. I promise. Have a great evening.

I did the 5k today and even though I didn't beat my daughter because we got seperated at the start line I did run more than I walked and I ran the finish so it was all good. If you ever get the chance to do a Color Run I highly recommend it it was alot of fun. There were over 6000 runners and walkers today it was crazy and the temp was only 37 so cold too.

Belinda-they like to charge alot for there RVs and Boats.

I am a little stiff and sore today but not as bad as I thought it would be. Going to my SIL's house for my MIL's birthday so I will try to get a walk in later did somewhat of a stretch this morning.

Today I did Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's and had a great workout. My left elbow is still hurting pretty bad, I probably should lay off the weights for a while, but I think I'll try and get this month finished and then take a break. If I have to, I'll just do cardio next week and see what happens.

This is what I did:

BICEPS
Dumbbell Curls - 20's - 2 sets 10 reps; 1 set 10 reps
Simultaneous Rotational Curls - 15's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Concentration Curls - 20# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Hammer Curl Double Arm Crazy 8's - 12's - 24 reps

TRICEPS
Tricep Pushups - 3 sets
Lying Tricep Extensions - 12's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 14 reps
One Arm Kickbacks - 8# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 14 reps
Dumbbell Overhead Tricep Extension w/Tube - Did about 10 reps, these burn

I also did MIS Abs.

Hi girls;)

Well, I'm still sore so I think I will wait until Wednesday to re-evaluate if I can workout. I still feel I bruised a rib or two or just just really bruised some muscle tissue where the workout bra hits just under breast. It tends to feel like I was kicked. I guess in essence I was kicked by the BowFlex machine when I crashed falling into it, LOL! I still need to finish Body Beast Build Block 1, but I don't think lifting is a good idea right now. I'm trying to concentrate on healing and resting right now so it may be that I need to take this week off as well. I am so chomping at the bit to workout. I can't do cardio or anything right now as this injury effects any movement being located where it is incorporates chest, upper abdominals etc. This is ver y tough for me to not workout. Even as I type this I am debating if I can workout on the stationary bike or maybe some Les Mills Combat. I guess you could say yes exercise has become a habit for me so I think that is proof that not all habits have to be bad, so that is encouraging. Thank you everyone for your well wishes they are appreciated.

Debbie- Awesome workout for you today girlfriend with Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's nice weights there. I am so envious right now wishing I could lift right now as well. Excellent workout today, take it easy with the elbow and I hope it feels better. I think your workout plan sounds good take care and have a blessed day!;):)

I did LIS Afterburn Express Intervals 1-10 1 set then went and walked around the park tried to run but my legs would only give me 1 out of 4 laps they are tired.

Debbie-good job with your workout and thank you.

Nora-continue to rest until you are feeling 100 percent better. After a this morning I know my legs need a rest day so I will probably take tomorrow off or do some kickboxing. Thank you for your cheers.

Today I did a mix of Cardio Coach #1 - did Challenge 1 and 2 and then did the last challenge of Cardio Coach #5. Had a great workout. That was a fun mix!

Workout was 40 minutes, ran 2.4 miles and burned about 340 calories.

Nora - Listen to your body. If you can't workout, you can't workout. I wish had your craving to workout. I used to. Now I almost have to make myself workout. I'm actually going to take a week off the first week of October. I'm really getting burned out again. But you take care of that injury and workout when that pain is gone. No sense in making it worse.

Belinda - Nice job yesterday!

Roxie - Are you sore yet? You probably won't be much since you trained so well for the 5K. I'm glad you did it! You rock!!

Anyone hear from Chris? I sure hope she's ok.
 
Hi girls,

Still no workout today, I'm trying to be patient and listen to my body letting it heal. I think I will try and apply for a couple of seasonal jobs today. Wish me luck I've been out of work since my first child. Its just now things are so bad there just is not enough money to live on for food, bills, or gas for the cars. My husband works tons of hours and had a job which is a huge blessing, but we have a lot of bills we're trying to get rid of and no savings so its stressful. Please pray for me to get one of these jobs part-time. Thank you for all your well wishes.

Roxie- I see you mentioned you did LIS Afterburn Express Intervals 1-10 yesterday and tried to run laps but your legs would only go 1 lap. Great job on doing LIS Afterburn mix, but it seems your legs are not up to running or jogging just now. So, I'd just not run for now until your feeling more up to it and your legs are willing to do it. No worries, just rest your legs from running maybe the rest of this week before trying it again. Just be safe and listen to your body. Great job on Afterburn yesterday and don't worry about the rest for now just take care of you. Congrats again on your 5k run, now just give yourself the needed recovery. Have a blessed day and be well;):)

I finally got my workouts in I was cleaning my house this morning. My son's fiancé parents are coming to visit us on Sunday

I just did PiYo: Define UB = 19 min + SBF Deep Core 2 = 20 min + Active Stretch = 15 min.

Debbie - you doing the Xtrain rotations, right? I noticed you doing 2 body part workouts from XTrain. How long does it take you to do them? And can you break them up? Let's say Triceps only? I will continue with SBF rotations plus I will add Cathe's weight workouts? I don't know if I want to do circuits or weight workouts? Haven't decided Or maybe do a 1 body part a day? I need to look at Xtrain and see how I can incorporate them into SBF? I am also thinking doing STS again But I know, I should give my body more rest. My head is spinning

I did Chalene PiYo Lower Body define and she did more right leg work then left its like the left was and afterthought then I walked on the TM but not at a high rate of speed I have a cold and my legs still hurt so I took it easy then I did planks.

Debbie-legs have been sore since Sunday hurts if I sit to long. Good job on your workout.

Belinda-I am going to do that PiYo tomorrow. Good job with your workout.
