Body Beast- Build Block #1 Wk 2- Chest & Tri's= 49 Min

Total calories burned= 671:)

Belinda- Great job on getting both of your workouts done, good for you! Yes, I'd say painting counts as upper body workout. Have an awesome blessed Friday!:cool:

Debbie- Nicely done today with Cardio Coach # 3, I bet you feel amazing after that. Awesome job on your distance and calories burned, that is so great! Bravo girlfriend, have a fabulous Friday and be blessed.

I did KCM's TLC Boxing at home and planks here at work. I need to do some other ab work besides the planks but its so boring.

Debbie-good job with your workout.

Belinda-thank you I am trying. Painting is always considered a workout.

Nora-I thought you weren't going to do the extra cardio good job anyway.

I went to the park and ran/walked 1.70 miles. I run rounds 1 & 3 and walked 2&4 and no leg pain so I am going to ramp it up this week. We are celebrating my GS's 2nd birthday today hard to believe he is that old already. I did planks too.

Well, this is the end of week 2 Build of Body Beast, one more week of that before I move on to Build. Its been fun so far and I'm really enjoying it and the beast talk doesn't bother me at all. In fact I think Sagi is funny.

Roxie- Great job with your run/walk today, that is great and no leg pain that is awesome!! Listen to your body with regards to changing things up and ramping up your workout next week take it easy. Congrats on celebrating your GS's 2nd Birthday, Wow!! Take care and have a blessed weekend!!

Today I did STS Total Body but only did the Upper Body Premix. I love that workout and I had a great one. This is what I did:

Triset #1
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 55# - 16 reps
Chest Flyes - 20's - 16 reps
Overhead Tricep Extension - 25# - 16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps
(The Overhead Tricep Extensions were supposed to be Dips, but dips seem to irritate my shoulder so I just don't do them anymore.)

Burn Sets
Close Grip Pushups - 8 reps
Standard Pushups - 16 reps

Triset #2
Barbell Curls - 25# - 16 reps
One Arm Row - 25# - 16 reps
Standing Dumbbell Curls - 12's - 16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps
(The Barbell Curls were supposed to be Barbell Rows, but I don't think there is enough bicep work in this workout so I changed it.)

Burn Sets
T-Pull w/tubing - Tons of reps
Seated Tubing Curls - Tons of reps

Triset #3
Standing Overhead Press - 10's - 16 reps
Upright Rows - 25# - 16 reps
Lateral Raise - 5's - 16 reps

Today I did a Cardio Coach mix I made up and had a great workout. Knee did pretty well today, no burning.

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 357 calories and ran about 2.4 miles.

Roxie - The weights you lift aren't too bad, girl. Look at your overhead presses - 15's for those. That is awesome. I'm having a hard time iwth 10's and 12's on that exercise. You had an excellent workout yesterday and great job on the run as well! I take it your leg is better?

Belinda - Great going on your workout! You go girl!!!

Nora - I thought you weren't supposed to be doing so much cardio while doing BB??? Me thinks you aren't following the program! :) You did great, though, and you had an great workout yesterday. You are the energy bunny! You put me to shame!

Chris - Where are you girl? We miss you!

Distance= 2.22 Miles

I did a stretch using the treadmill that was turned off to brace myself for stretches. I lost my balance in a stretch that I had one leg vertical leaning on treadmill arms while standing lost balance feeling very fatigued and fell into bowflex machine. I think I bruised my right upper ribs and right elbow and right shin. Oh well, it could've been worse because I was able to get the one leg down and brace arms before I crashed which my head was going. So bruised ribs are better than head injury, thank goodness if I had to get injured that it wasn't worse.

Body Beast Cardio= 30 Min
MV= 7.50
CB= 307

Body Beast- Beast Abs= 12 Min
MV= 5.0
CB= 82

Total calories burned= 750;)

Debbie- Nicely done today with one of your Cardio Coach mixes. So glad to hear your knee didn't hurt from doing a run that is awesome. I know BB Lean Beast Rotation calls for 1 day of cardio and I have done more than that last week and so far this week. I did follow it faithfully the first week but I was really missing Cardio Coach and cardio workouts. I did shorten the overall length of my workouts drastically. I am doing less cardio time wise that I did before I started Body Beast. We'll see if I am able to do cardio tomorrow or not tomorrow. If I can't I will just cut that from the workout, we'll see.

I did KCM's Stepboxing Kickbox Drills only.

Debbie-my leg is not 100% but that's why I am not pushing it and only running so many laps. I am doing the Color Run Saturday so we will see.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Nora-you need to back off the cardio and follow the program. Sorry to hear about your accident.
 
Today I did the standing part of Xtrain Legs. I wasnted to see how my knees did on this, I'm really missing doing leg workouts. My left knee was fine but my right one still hurts when I do lunges and plies. Not sure why because it hasn't felt that bad lately. This one has been hurting for a long time, though, although it does feel better and doesn't hurt when I go up the stairs anymore. I did ok with the workout and broke a good sweat. Hopefully I can add to that as the weeks go by.

Nora - You're too funny! I never met anyone who likes cardio as much as you do! You go girl!!!!

Roxie - Wow, that run came up fast. I'm glad you are still planning on doing it. We'll be cheering you on!

Belinda - Nice workout yesterday!!! :)

I did KCM's Muscle Up Chest & Back then a 2.26 mile run/walk in the park. Ran laps 1,3,5 walked 2,4 split 6 half run half walk. Leg bothered me a little I iced it when I got home.

Lawnmowers-20lbs/8 reps/3 sets
Flys-12lbs/8 reps/3 sets

Debbie-thank you for the compliment makes me feel good coming from you. Good job with the leg work I plan on starting that after Saturday but I still do my planks everyday. Thank you for the cheers.

Belinda-I didn't see on facebook where she shipped last I knew she hasn't gotten them back for replicating yet. The new T-Shirts are in.
