Crazy, Strong and Loving it for September 2014!!

Today I worked my legs but sort of did some exercises on my own and then I did the Barre part of Xtrain Legs. The exercises I did on my own were Squats, Leg Press and Deadlifts. I can't seem to do lunges anymore and it sort of hurt to do squats, but I did them. My right knee is still bothering me, but my left is ok now.

Belinda - You should be able to just do one body part with Xtrain using the Burn Sets workouts. She works one body part at a time and you can just do biceps or whatever on whichever day you prefer. I'm not following any rotation, I'm just doing what I feel like doing that week.

I did KCM Circuit Burn 1 this morning and now we are headed to the lake. Legs feel good colds kicking my butt.

Ok, I couldn't stand it anymore so I gave in and worked out today some cardio nothing too crazy and no BB until next week and I will just repeat week #3. So I'll just check in now.

Here's today's workout:

iTrain Set 6= 20 Min
MV= 7.75
CB= 212
Distance on TM= 1.29 Miles

I opted to do the walking and go to a very slow go on interval up part. We played with speed and incline on intervals every 2 min. This particular iTrain has three levels: walking, jogging, and running. SO this was a nice way to address my situation cardio wise. I had fun and I could do it I did opt to go easier than I would if I didn't have this injury still on the mend.

Les Mills Combat- Kick Start= 30 Min
MV= 7.50
CB= 307

I still love Les Mills Combat find I reach for it often and I love Rach and Dan!

Total calories burned= 519;)

Belinda- Nice workout yesterday with PiYo: Define UB = 19 min + SBF Deep Core 2 = 20 min + Active Stretch = 15 min plus you did cleaning too, in my book that counts as a workout too! Good evening,

Finally got my workouts in. I forgot to tell you guys I broke my tooth last night again, the same one I broke a few month ago .I had one bite from DH's ice creme. It was Ben & Jerry with the peanut butter cups ONE BITE I knew ice creme isn't good for me:p I went to my dentist and he put a crown in, which took a few hours. Didn't feel a thing. Didn't even noticed I was bitting my tongue instead of the paper they want you to bite one :confused: Oh boy, once the meds worn off I was in a lot of pain 3 hours later. I couldn't workout or do anything I know, I will not eat any ice cream for awhile:eek:

Debbie - thanks for the recommendation! That's a great idea! Good job on your LB workout today. I need to check the Barre out soon.

Today I did Burn Sets Chest, Back and Shoulders and had a great workout!

This is what I did:

CHEST
Dumbbell Chest Press - 30's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Dumbbell Chest Fly - 25's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Incline Barbell Chest Press - 55# - 1 set 10 reps; 60# - 1 set 10 reps; 3rd set 11 reps (used the barbell here instead of dumbbells)
Pushups - 16 reps (8 on toes, 8 on knees)

BACK
One Arm Row - 30# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 11 reps
Double Arm Row - 45# - 3 sets 10 reps (used barbell instead of dumbbells)
Rear Delt Fly - 12's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Supermans - Skipped

SHOULDERS
Dumbbell Overhead Press - 12's - 2 set 10 reps; 1 set 11 reps
Single Arm Lateral Raise - 8# - 3 sets 10 reps
Single Arm Rear Delt Raise - 10# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Scarecrows - 5# - 12 reps

Ok, I have to say I'm glad I did Start Here it is a nice workout to do for recovery or starting back from an injury, so glad I had this workout today.

Total calories burned= 568 I finished today's workout about 8:38 AM I had to eat before I checked in.

Debbie- love that you did XTrain Burn Sets Chest, Back and Shoulders awesome workout today girlfriend WTG! I so am envious of the weight training, I just have to hang in there and try back to Body Beast repeating Week #3 Build Block #1. I hope I will be able to do it. Its been a crazy day they finally told me they were selling and I no longer have a job after October 1st kind of surprised them when I told them I already knew that. It started storming at 1:30 this morning and continued until I left for work at 7:30 so I didn't sleep very well nothing but planks today.

Nora-your idea of taking it easy is very impressive.

Today I was going to run on my treadmill but my body is just tight and sore all over. I needed to do a stretch workout so I did Yoga Stretch by Karen Voight. I really need to start doing this again once a week or more. I cannot believe how tight my muscles are again and that just leads to trouble. This workout actually hurt to do, that's how tight my muscles are. I need to stop skipping stretching workouts and just work them in my rotation. I hate missing a cardio day, but I think it's important to stretch as well. I'll see what I can come up with. I wish I had the motivation to do them on weekends.

Belinda - Do you have the Xtrain workouts? Haven't you done them before?

Debbie- Good for you doing Yoga Stretch today with Karen Voight, she's awesome! Yes, good call if you're feeling tight and sore to do some stretching that's what will help you to feel better. Stretching I think is something that most of us need to do more of if we are honest. I know I do need to do it more as well. I did a 2.30 mile run/walk in the park 1 mile running 1 mile walking the other was walking to and from the park. I will do planks shortly.

Belinda- ugh, on the tooth ache, maybe try some numbitz for pain. I know it is used for teething pain but it can help us adults too if there is tooth pain, or tylenol or something like that. I hope the tooth pain stops. I see your workout plan for today is to do SBF UB = 15 min + UB = 19 min and Stopwatch Planks = 15 min and if time allows PiYo UB. Hey!

Yes, it's me. I got out of habit of coming here and then felt kind of stupid coming back after so long. But Nora found me! Thanks Nora!

it's more of my 15 year old son taking a lot of my energy and time with his behavior. It's exhausting, it really is.

I ended up finishing the Oldies Rotation, and Started the May 2014 rotation. It had a lot of variety, etc, and sounded good. This week was Slow & heavy, which was fun to revisit, AND challenging. Today was All Out Low Impact HiiT.

I was only able to do the floor work, I started doing the step portion, but my right hip/low back area was very sore and was hurting a lot on the second move of the step, so I stopped and did Stretch Max #1.

I'll try to come here more often! I miss you guys! :eek:

Today was supposed to be Body Max2 but I wasn't up for the whole thing. I did 3/4's of the Cardio & Weights Premix and then did abs. It ended up being an hour total.

Glad your tooth is better, Belinda!. Piyo and Stretch sound nice!
