Crazy Strong and Loving It for September 14, 2009

Hi girls,

I am back from the gym. I did CCV 3 on the TreadClimber, burned 580 cal.:p That's what I am talking about! LOL! I was sweating buckets on the TC and the best part, it was low impact! I will use the TC more often from now on, I forgot all about that one. BTW, I posted pic. from our gym on my profile. I was wondering if the stair master is low impact? I almost forgot I did SM, with the ball too!

Hi ladies. This is going to be a LONG stressful week for me. I really should have gotten up and gotten my workout done, but I just couldn't. DH and I are redoing one bedroom so there was a lot of patching, sanding, painting and I'm pooped. I feel like I got a leg workout just climbing up and down the ladder a million times. Today I am supposed to be doing biceps and triceps. I may put that off until tomorrow and just do cardio so I can get back to more painting.

Belinda - good job with the calorie burn! I have never used the stair master so I don't have a clue about the impact. I'd imagine it'd be like walking up stairs so if that doesn't hurt your back, then it might be ok?

Good morning ladies. I did MIS this morning for the first time. The ab workout is a killer! We ended up coming back from vacation early because DH got sick and now he has pnuemonia so I'll be playing nursemaid this week. We didn't even mind coming home because it rained every stinking day we were there! Outer Banks is not a fun place to be when it's raining!!

Belinda - I thought you coulnd't workout??? I just went and read your MRI results and you said you couldn't do cardio. Does this piece of equipment prevent you from hurting your back? I hope so. That is a great calorie burn! And I'm sorry to hear the outcome of your results. Three herniated discs. Can there be anything done to help that? Do they eventually go back into place?

Belinda- I didn't think you were supposed to do cardio? OMG! 3 herniated discs! Oh girl, I hope this is something that can be handled without surgery. I don't know much about this sort of thing. No matter what I wish you all the best and becareful with your back. No, more health issues for you, you've exceeded your quota, ok. Hopefully, from here on out you won't have any additional problems. You deserve a pass from all other health problems Ok!;) Big Hugs!:)


Here's my workout for today:

Low Impact Circuit-Premix-Cardio Blast Timesaver= 48 Minutes
Calories burned= 393

Pyramid Upper Body= 57 Minutes
Calories burned= 479

I'm doing Cathe's September 2009 Rotation and so far its been very challenging but that is standard for Cathe's DVD's right?:p It's all good though, so love that.

Hey Guys!

Today's my later check in, because of work, I sleep first, and then work out in the afternoon.

I started STS again today!!!!

All the way back to square 1: DISC 1, Chest, Shoulders, Biceps. I set everything up so it went easier for transitioning. I worked hard! I'm really REALLY going to try to clean up my eating and see if I get better results this time. Last time I didn't lose weight. I mostly just got BIGTIME definition in my arms and upper body. And I'm kind of back to where I was , I think , at this point. My arms are still better, but not as much. SO here we go!!

Belinda: Gosh, I hope it's ok what you're doing and you don't kill your back! Did you ask specifically if the TC was ok? Be careful!! But I'm sure it felt good to sweat and work OUT!

Heather: Hope you got a good workout in today, or if not, a good rest day! Sounds like you're very busy with your house. Is that thing that's making this week hard for you?

Bev: Sorry to hear your DH is sick AND it rained on vacation. There is nothing worse than that.

How's STS going Debbie? You're on MESO 2, right?

Back to report. DH and I did a short but fast run at lunch. After work I did biceps and triceps from GS and abs from Cardio & Weights. Then it was off to finish the trim.

Chris - My stress is from work, house repairs and DH's bday. Trying to do a surprise bday party Friday and found out last minute I have to work late on Friday (again). Crap!
