I forgot to post my workout:mad: I ran 60 min. and burned 588 cal:p Had a great run this morning.

Hey everyone,

I am back! Its so hard getting back into the grove though. Yesterday I slept in and DID NOT want to go to work! I made myself get up this morning though. I'm glad I did. I ended up doing GS Chest and Tri's. I could barely wash my hair this morning after that. :(

I got up this morning to do my workout because I knew it wouldn't get done tonite DH is taking me to Olive Garden for my b-day and I won't be eating very much today so I can have my cals for some chicken fettucine alfredo and breadsticks.

Good morning. I did Step Blast this morning which was a BLAST!!!! It feels so good to be getting back to normal. I have some serious DOMS from yesterday and you know how I love that!!!

Hey Girls!

I started with my 2 weeks of 4DS this week. Yesterday I did HIS/Chest & Back. Always enjoy the step workouts from 4DS! They are fun, and then I'm all sweaty and don't even realize I'm "working out"! I have to say, though, after doing STS weight work, the music/singing on the 4DS weight work is kind of weird for me. It was distracting.

Today is KB/Legs & Core !!

Belinda: Good run today!!! STS still leaving you sore? I know my 1RM's were sometimes off on my weight choices, I had to change them too. 100 lb bench press? Wow, no WAY! LOL!

Karen: Welcome back! I did GS the week before last, and do remember that "jello" feeling! Those are tough workouts!!

Roxie: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! It's my oldest son's birthday today too! (He's 14). Great way to celebrate with a new workout! Enjoy Olive Garden (LOVE that place!)

Bev: SB *is* a blast! Great long , FUN cardio!!

Off to start my busy day. After I work out, I have to go grocery shopping/birthday shopping (my middle son's birthday is TOMORROW!. I had my 1st on the 1st and my 2nd on the 2nd... my third son came on the 14th though), baking, school supply shopping...oh my list is endless!

Everyone is off to a great start it looks like. I need to do back/biceps STS Disc 15 today. Really want to get in a run, but DH appears to have schedule a bike ride with a friend. I'll just wing it today on the cardio I suppose.

Chris - good job with your workout. That step routine is a fun one.

Roxie - happy bday - enjoy every bite of your dinner tonight!!

Belinda - great job on the run.

Karen - sounds like you're jumping right back into the swing of it!

Bev - SB is one of my favs. I do that one at least once a week!

Wow, can you all believe it's September already. Where the heck did the summer go?

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #6 w/Candace. Had a really good workout. Change the battery in my HRM and although it lost my HR a few times, at least it didn't go to the Touch reading. Hopefully that problem is taken care of.

As I stated above, it is COLD out this morning! I think we were at 49 when I left for work and that was at quarter to 9. My hands were numb when I got to work because I rode my motorcycle. Yeesh. I sure hope this doesn't portray what our winter is going to be like this year. I'm ready to move south.

It's suppose to warm up, though.

It's so cool here that DH and I ran during lunch. We did a brisk run (under 9 min mile) so my HR was really up there. Now I can just focus on biceps/back after work and a good stretch.

Debbie, did you contact customer service about your disc? Glad you still had a great workout yesterday. It’s getting very cold here too, the afternoons are so warm. I was listening to CCV6 today too. ^^^5’s!

Wendy, glad you are loving CTX. WOW, you did step and a TM run yesterday. WTG! Glad your stomach is feeling better.

Oh no, not 9 miles, under a "9-minute mile". We did 3 miles in just over 26 mins. The farthest I have ever run was 5 miles this past Sunday. It took 47 mins to do that. You're NOT going to find me running for 90 mins!!! LOL There's not much of anything I want to be doing for that long! :eek:

Got in my workout - I did CTX Power Circuit. Luckily the hi/lo in this one is only for a few minutes -whew! My love affair continues....
Yep, Debbie, September! My girls start school tomorrow (!!!) and they've both had soccer practices already. I hope the weather is warmer when you get off work and can enjoy your ride (the long way) home!

Debbie - I wish I had it in me to run 9 miles, but I just don't love it that much! We typically run around our neighborhood (we have a route that is 1.5 miles so we usually do that twice). On the weekends we like to run by the river. We have an awesome trail for bikers, runners, walkers called, what else, the River Trail. No motor vehicles, no exhaust fumes, shady, scenic, perfect!

Wendy - my ankle seems to be just about back to normal. I notice it gets achy if I run too many hills or really uneven surfaces (but, heck, that can bother anyone really).

Debbie - are you still having the extreme hamstring tightness? Mine has gotten really bad and has started hurting deep in my left glute (towards the top) and at the very bottom just where you would think your rear end meets the hamstring (apparently called the ischial tuberosity.) Even though I stretch daily, it only seems to be getting worse. I never had this pain until I had started STS to be honest. I blamed it on the plate exercises the whole time. But it might be much more.

I found this site (http://www.aidyourhamstring.com/hamstring-tendonitis.php) and thought you might be interested if you were still having the soreness/tightness.

Hi Girls!:)

I didn't workout yesterday, I let my knees rest. I also was waiting for Cathe to post the new Rotation for September. So, I'll be doing Cathe's Sept.'09 Rotation now.

Today's Cathe's Sept.'09 Rotation:

Gym Style Legs= 67 Min
Calories burned= 549
that was fun and a bit challenging for me on lunges as my balance was not great today so it made things tougher but I hung in there and got it done.

KCM-30 Minutes to fitness Kickboxing-Premix-Kickboxing workout 1 plus core/abs= 44 min.
Calories burned=421

That it for me today. I think I'll go read "Devil May Cry" Dark-Hunter novel by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I love her Dark-Hunter's and Simi is a hoot~!
