I had a fun workout today and I'm still in love with Les Mills Combat, its da bomb, now I got DH doing in too! Love that!!!:cool: DH likes me to help him with some moves he finds tricky. He just started it today so I'm really proud of him.

Debbie- Wow, what a killer leg workout, way to go!;) Awesome job today, if your sore tomorrow if I may, suggest a nice yoga workout would feel good on any sore muscles. Awesome job today and you are amazing girlfriend. Have a fab day!!;):cool:

I just fininshed Turbo Jam Cardip Party and did some LB workout with the bands.

Nora - that's fantastic your husband is doing Combat. Mine is doing P90X:D I just read Beachbody is coming out with new workouts soon. Mmmm..maybe new TJ or TF?:p Wishful thinking, hah?

Today I felt like doing cardio. I should have done yoga to stretch out my legs, but just didn't want to do yoga today. I'm pretty sore from working my legs yesterday but not as bad as I thought I would be. I chose Press Play and did the whole workout. Had a pretty good workout.

I'm getting up there with my mileage on these workouts. I'm excited about that!

It's snowing here. I thought it was spring?

So my mom's surgery is pushed to March 29th now. I guess they have an emergency surgery to do Tuesday when she was suppose to have hers. If it's such an emergency, why don't they do it this Friday?

Kind of sucks that it will be on Good Friday, but my mom seems to be ok with that.

Today I did Pure Strength Back and Biceps and also did 100 Rep Challenge Chest Flies. I added on a 4 minute Tabata from Mindy Mylrea's Tabata with Toys workout.

Belinda: You are having fun with the TJ parties, huh? that's great! they are fun workouts!

Nora: That is very cool your DH is doing Combat too! I wish there were more cardios. you don't get tired of them, huh? Love that you're adding Xtrain in there too!

Debbie: Nice to see you getting back into some weights! I think a good run a day after weights is good for your legs. Thaws them out! Sorry to hear about your mom's surgery getting pushed back. My mom is going for a colonoscopy this coming tuesdays. To follow up the emergency surgery she had in August of last year. (She's 88). Next week is going to be very busy!

Roxie: You're doing great with the workouts! I'm glad you're going to just go with the flow. No stressing about a job. Just keep looking and following up. OTherwise, enjoy the time off!
 
Chris - I do:eek: Turbo Jam is the most fun cardio workouts I have ever tried. I just can't get enough.I love kickboxing workouts. Her moves are fun and no other workout make my heart rate soar like this. Love the music in TJ! Wished Cathe had music like this in her workouts. Nice job on your workout today.

I just finished today's workout and my DH just finished his too, I'm so proud of him and he did his first HiiT workout ever!!! I'll just check in now.

Wow, that was another Combat butt-kickin' workout again, love it!!! I recall someone asked if I was getting bored with Combat workouts yet? Answer is no, but I am eager for more of those type of workouts to integrate with Combat. So, I've been thinking of saving up and adding Tap Out XT and Rush Fit to the mix. I'm so addicted to the MMA style of workouts, they are fun. When I get Tap Out XT I don't think I'd follow their rotation for 90 days because I'm not interested in that just the workouts minus their yoga and ab workouts. MMA inspired workouts use abs in each and every workout so doing an extra or several extra ab centric separate workouts seem overkill to me. Rush Fit looks good to its more about training and muscle endurance workouts and not about MMA moves in workouts like in Combat or Tap Out XT. I like the variety that each offers and the different focus they offer. I absolutely love and adore Combat and want more because I'm a huge fan of these workouts and want more not because I'm dissatisfied or bored.

Belinda- Glad your having fun with TJ, I have all of those but haven't done them in a while. Turbo Fire is the next generation of workouts stepping up from Turbo Jam. Turbo Fire is more intense but they do have Allie as the modifier in each and every workout she does the low impact version while keeping the intensity up, which is a nice option. Nicely, done Belinda and good for you loving TJ, working out and having fun while doing it is the best, you go girlfriend!!!!;):)

Debbie- Wow, if you feel like doing Cardio today after that killer leg weight workout yesterday, you go girlfriend. I say if your gut is telling you cardio glad you did that then. Its always a good bet to listen to what your body says it wants, so good for you. Awesome job today with Press Play, sounds like a killer run. High fives all around, you are a legend!;):) I know there was an unexpected set back with your mom's surgery date being pushed back but perhaps that can workout in your mom's favor. Good job on today's workout and keep up the awesome workouts. ((Hugs to you Mom));):)

Today was yoga and I did Yoga Relax by Cathe. Felt good, I really needed it. My legs are still sore from Wednesday's workout and yesterday's run.

I'm so glad it's Friday! :)

Thanks everyone, about my mom. We are all just ready for this to be over. The waiting has been horrible.

Chris - Thoughts and prayers out to your mom. I hope she does ok next week!

Nora - Congrats to your husband for doing HIIT!!! That is awesome. My husband used to be a runner and I've been trying to get him to start up again in the summer. I don't think he really wants too, though.

Belinda - Your husband is working out too? That is awesome! I know most men that workout like the P90X rotation. I'm glad he's doing it!

Yesterday my missing 2 Beachbody dvds arrived. Yeah! Not sure, which dvd I will do today?

Debbie - my DH workes out every day. He does have to modify because of his hip.He likes P90X, so is DS. One day I will do P90X too. I will keep your mom in my thoughts & prayers. Will you preorder Cathe's new workouts?

Nora - I am having a blast with TJ. I am waiting for TF to go on sale. A few month ago Groupon had the entire series for only $53! Crazy me, talked myself out:confused:? Wished Cathe had a modifier in her workouts. I hear you on the BB workouts, I love them too. If I see those 2 workouts on sale, I will let you know. You order through BB directly, correct? I order all my BB workouts through Mary from totalfitnessdvds.com. She is amazing. Been ordering through her since I lived in Germany.

Roxie - how do you like Xtrain? Good job yesterday.

I hope everyone is having wonderful awesome Friday. So far mine is not starting off that way, today was DH's pay day and a good check too, but bills deducted leaves us little money for gas for vehicles or food. Yep, I'm feeling low right now it sucks there's little I can do about it. I think if I give up food that might help for the family. I know that sounds drastic but I'm just thinking out loud in the midst of my depressing reality. I guess what I'm saying is I'd welcome prayers and well wishes to help, thanks in advance.

Sadly right now I only have time for a quick check in right now, but will try to come back later for personals. Hugs and blessings to everyone and have great workouts and even better Friday!:)

Good Afternoon,

I have had a busy morning I went grocery shopping before we get another round of snow they are talking 4-7" I am tired of this and then I started a roast for supper a load of laundry and then I did XT BS Bis and Tris and walked on the TM for 30 mins.

Debbie-DH started walking on the TM again after he heard what my cholestorol results were he thought he better get back to it.

Belinda-I really liked Totally Tubular.

Nora-I know how you feel I am hoping things are get better for you.

Didn't get to check in yesterday. I did XTRAIN Legs, Standing & Barre. Today I did premix #1 from Tabatacise, which was one Tabata + core#1. I added on 100 Pullovers and 100 squats.

Nora, I'm sooo sorry. What a funk that must put you in. Gas is so damn expensive. I think you could buy cheaper food, but you can't rally get cheaper gas. (((Hugs))) to you.

Belinda, you're making me want to go back and try some TJs!!! I forget what totally tubular was like...

Roxie, snow blows. Sorry ou got it. We have about 4 inches frozen on the ground. And it's not warming up too quick around here for it to melt! Sick of it too!!! Nice job with the workouts . Your cholesterol was bad ? I must have missed that.

Debbie, hope you have a nice weekend. I bet you can't wait to get on your bike soon!

I'm just stopping by with a quick check in for today. So, I'll get right to it these days I like for the workout I do on my sixth day or Saturday to be a shorter or less intense workout so this is what I did.

Here's today's workout:

Les Mills Combat- Warrior 1 Upper Body Blow Out= 25 Min (uses #10 pr, #12 pr db's) I used #10 pr, #8 pr, and #12 Pr.
MV= 6.50
CB= 222

Les Mills Combat- Core Attack= 20 Min (optional 1 #8 db, or 1 #10 db, or none) (I used 1 #8 db)
MV= 5.0
CB= 137

Les Mills Combat- Inner Warrior Strengthen & Stretch= 20 Min
MV= 3.0
CB= 82

This is the best most innovative stretch I've ever done it is martial arts inspired and really stretches the legs nicely and your body says "thank you" afterwards, its da best. This is one of the Ultimate warrior DVDs as is the Upper Body Blow and Core Attack. In my opinion worth the extra purchase cost I have been using them for quite a while now and really feel these are important to the overall workout and definitely help with achieving worthwhile results. I love them!

Belinda- I order mine through beach body direct because I can log in to my teambeachbody account and save 10% when I order. Mary is wonderful so that is always an option too. I only offered both suggestions because I have ordered all my BB DVD's from them and had good luck, and I have ordered other things from Mary and always had a very positive experience. I do know Mary has a Total Fitness site that exclusively handles only BB dvds to order since she's a BB coach, so her stuff is legit. I know about each personally I can't speak to other options. ;)

I finally did XT Legs today but only the standing portion and Shape Abs. My legs were really shaking because I don't like to work them.

Chris-my cholesterol was 256 so not good.

Sorry for not checking in yesterday, had a busy day. I lost my Fitbit in Costco on Saturday. Not every happy about that! Yesterday we did take the dogs for a walk.

Chris - and I forget to check in myfitnesspal.com, lol! I love all the TJ workouts.

Nora - I did the math ordering through Mary or BB's webside. Yeah, BB gives you a 10% discount but they charge a lot for shipping. If I order through Mary somehow I pay less than through BB? Plus I want to pick my coach not have someone pick one for me:D
