Crazy Strong and Loving It for Jul 23, 2009

Hi girls~;)

I did workout yesterday, but forgot to check in so, here's yesterday's workout:

Step,Jump,Pump= 73 Minutes

Calories burned= 661

Its been really hot and humid where I am so it was tough for me to workout because the heat makes me weak and dizzy, but I managed to finish with taking several brief breaks.

I'll be back later to check in with today's workout...

Hugs!:)

Nora

Belinda: I liked Plyo Legs- she alternates a weighted exercise like front lunges with a plyo exercise, like plyo jacks. Time flies in the workouts which is always a plus. :) And really, if they aren't your thing, just think you only have to do one 4 times. :)

Heather: It's a great check in- I love it here. Glad you're here too. :)

Patti, can't wait to try them! I think I will do them in Meso 2, right? I do like weight wo mixed with some jacks:rolleyes:

Belinda: Nope, the plyo workouts are in Meso 3. In Meso 2 you will do tri sets for legs- holy night those were tough. But no jumping. ;)

Do any of you ladies remember what the Step and hi/low circuit premix is for SB (60 mins)? There is one that starts with SJP step then hi/low then goes into SB. The only thing I don't like is that you do step, then have to move it for hi/low, then pull it back out for step again.

RT trips

Patti-which hotel are you staying at? There is a Kmart right next to both hotels so I went and got bottles of water because the water they provided at the gym wasn't very cold. I stayed at Residence Inn so I had a fridge.

If you wear contact lenses be aware of those big fans they have in the gym! They dried mine out and I was miserable so I ended up not wearing them for most of the classes.

And take some pieces of ribbon or something to distinguish your camera from everyone elses!!!! If Cyndi is there this year, she is great about taking pics for you and uses your camera and if you aren't careful, it's hard to tell which is yours when you go to get it back. They gave us a tote bag the first night so naturally everyone used that as their gym bag but the problem is that everyone just lays their stuff along the wall when you are working out and you can't tell which is yours. So take some extra ribbon or something to tie on there so you can tell which bag is yours.

I'll keep thinking to see if I can remember anything else. When are you flying in?

Hey again!...

I did KM this morning... I think the drugs weren't quite done with me, because I was kind of dizzy during the first half. Though KM is nice in the fact that it starts off nice with those slow combos... And then , then drills kick in! I had to modify a few times, no big tuck jumps and I didn't do all of the lunge jumps either. Still fun, and I sweat my a$$ off! The leg drills were good, I haven't done those in a while, and I could NOT keep my leg up very high!! It was burning!!

So , good work out!!

Patti: Hi-5's on Meaner Legs!!! I haven't done that in a long time. You and Bev are so lucky you're going to the RT, it will be fun to hear how things go , I love seeing all the pictures and hearing the stories!

Bev
: Yay for IM2! I agree with Patti, I don't do it too often, because I'd hate to get sick of it! I love it!

Roxie: your menu looks good today. WW'ers is great, Good to hear you'll be committing, I think it makes a difference! (and you could really do it without the pills, I agree!, but understand since you already paid for them).

Heather: I agree! It is a nice group here!! Glad you joined up!... I'm not familiar with that premix from SJP. I did just do a Step and Weight circuit mix though (loved it!), but not with the hi/lo.

Belinda: Yay for KPC!!

Karen
: Hope you enjoy your rest day! sounds like you need it. funnny, my DH works nights (10-6:30) and I love the bed to myself too! I'm very spoiled!

Nora
: You are doing great !! It's been very humid here too , but cloudy, and cool. It makes a difference. But I do notice I sweat more buckets when it's muggy. I love the step from SJP!

Debbie: good eats today!

I kind of screwed up eating, because I made a new recipe with the rotten bananas I had (I swear, my boys intentionally leave them to rot so i'll bake soemthing good with them!). I made Chocolate Chip Banana Cookies. Holy moly, these things are WAYYYY good. So I just skipped my afternoon "mini meals" and had the cookies.

Checking in....really! -

Hi girlies! Holy cow, my day have been chock full - as have yours I would guess.
Hello to everyone, I've been missing you all. I have been trying to get caught up with reading the forums, so.......Chris, I'm glad your office visit is over and went well. Roxie, keep up the good (hard) work. It's a lifestyle, not a quick fix. We're behind you. Glad to see everyone is keeping up on their workouts. Nora, you amaze me. And "hello" to Heather!
I'm mostly over my bronchitis, but the cough has been persistent. So I've not wanted to do a lot of cardio until the last couple of days. I've gone back and been working on one of Debbie's muscle defining rotations, one body part a day. LOVE IT! I did go back and revisit PlyoX the other day - LOVE that one, too. Got me to coughing, though...
My eats have been pretty good - down another pound. Thought I was getting my BF tested again yesterday, but it didn't work out. I think I've lost about 3lbs since getting it tested the first time - 25.5%! I never really was a numbers girl (didn't really weigh myself, etc) until I got that number. I've challenged myself to get that number down a couple of percentage points. So, we'll see.
I'm off to pick up the girls from horse camp.
Good times.....

Wendy: So good to see you! Sorry you've been sick- I hate not being able to workout. :( As for the BF%, it's interesting, isn't it?

Bev: I'm at the other hotel, not the suite. Name escapes me. :) I am flying in early, early Thursday morning- my college roommate lives in south Jersey so I am spending the day/night with her and then she is dropping me at the hotel on Friday. If I lived that close to Cathe...and she doesn't even know who she is! Ack! Ribbon, thanks! My camera is light blue (I'm such a girl, DH is glad I didn't opt for pink) but still a good idea for marking my bag and stuff. Thanks!

Chris: I kinda drooled on the keyboard there. That sounds good. I am baking zucchini brownie muffins for the kids with lots of chocolate chips in them and so far, I have stayed out. But it isn't easy.

Hi girls!:)

I'm back with a check in for today's workout:

Imax 2= 55 Minutes
Calories burned= 569

I'm pretty wiped out right now from the heat and how that effects and working out in warm weather. I'm done working out for today and plan on a nice cool shower to help revive me.

I hope everyone is having great day. Great job on the workouts today, WTG!!!

Hugs to everyone!;)

Nora
