Crazy, Strong and Loving it for February 2014!!

Hi everyone! Today I did a cardio coach mix - my Candace mix from her #6 Cardio Coach and her Run Fit workout. I love this mix, it's so fun. And it's such a high calorie burn and I get way over 3 miles with this one. So I'm happy and I did very well with it.

Total time was 62 minutes, I ran 3.78 miles (almost 4!) and burned about 547 calories.

So the weather dudes blew this storm out of proportion again. They called for 8-10 inches by morning and we barely got 3. It did start snowing pretty bad from 7:30 to now but it seems it has stopped for a while. I hate when they blow these snow storms up to more than they are but I guess it is hard to predict since Mother Nature has it's own ideas! LOL!

I just finished today's workout and will check in with that, but first I wanted to say thank you all for your continued prayers and healing well wishes. I won't know anything until Thursday when my doctor call with results and he will talk to me about stuff then when we have those results. Debbie- Congrats on your awesome workout today with Candace and RunFit today, wow nearly 4 miles, high fives girlfriend. Excellent mileage, time and calorie burn. DH ended up doing the shoveling so I walked on the TM still have a slight headache so wasn't up to much.

Nora-my day off not going anywhere until tomarrow so hopefully they will have the roads cleared. DD lives in the town where I work and she said they got 14" I think we got about 6". Nice workout.

Debbie-it seems lately they never get the forecast right. Nice workout.
 
Chris, thanks again for the link. Just watched it:confused: Nothing different than what I am doing already. I assume those containers are like 1 cup, 1/2 and so on.
 
Today I did another total body workout on my own. Had a great workout. Did different exercises from Tuesday.

3 sets of everything. Reps ranged from 10 to 12 depending on how I felt.

Squats - 27#
Flat Dumbbell Bench Press - 15's
Dumbbell Curls - 12's

Leg Press Station - 120's
Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 15's
Bicep Curls w/sweep - 15's

Deadlifts - 25's
Barbell Row - 35#
Overhead Dumbbell Press - 10's

Overhead Tricep Extension - 20#
Planks - 20 seconds
Crunches - 20 reps

Hi girls!

I just wanted to update you that there is a snow storm that hit here this morning at about 6:30 AM. Its been snowing ever since we have about six or more inches right now and I doubt I'll be here from the Doctor today. I called his office and his service is answering the phones so I'm taking that as a no on a call back today and possibly tomorrow. The snow has caused major problems here with the roads etc... I took my youngest son to high school this morning eagerly waiting for the school cancellation to be annouced but there was none. I braved the weather drove him to school only to have him call me at 9:30AM that school has closed for the day and I had to go pick him up. I heard that the closed the freeway heading south from here due to traffic issues caused by snow. So there is no news as of yet but I understand because of the weather. I'm trying to hang in there and keep warm.

Keep the prayers for me coming I can sure use them. Thanks in advance.;):)

I did KCM's Split Session 1 Upper Body before I went to work but I couldn't finish all of it I got the shakes and my hr wouldn't calm down.

Nora-I understand on the snow we just got out today.

Today I did Cardio Coach #2 revised and had a good workout. I like certain parts of both #2 and #2R but I don't like them as their are on their own. I think I'm going to make a mix of those two workouts with my favorite challenges on one workout. The thing about the one I did today is the warmup is only like 4 minutes and then you go right into the first challenge. I need more than 4 minutes to get warmed up and get my HR up to begin a challenge. So I'm going to put together the two and see what I can do.

Total workout was 37 minutes, I ran a little over 2.25 miles and burned about 357 calories.

Roxie - What's up with your HR? I hope you are ok.

Hi girls:)

I just finished today's workout and will check in momentarily. My doctor called a couple of hours ago. He said that my pap was negative or normal and the HPV test was negative, or normal. My body shows no evidence of HPV now that means my body has cleared it. The only thing that is a bit of a concern is that he found a cyst six months ago during his exam and that same cyst is still there and about the same size. He didn't seem to concerned and suggested we could wait and check again at annual exam in six months. I would feel better about things if the cyst was removed and tested. My doctor said he'd have to set it up for me because he doesn't do that part. So, I will have to wait for him to get back with me on that. So I'm really happy that the results are negative or normal. :D:cool:;)

Now I just have to find out which doctor I see and when to get cyst removed, fingers crossed on that and prayers too! Debbie- Nice job with Cardio Coach Volume 2 revised, WTG!! Nice time and calorie burn with that. I know what you mean about needing a bit longer of a warm up before hitting the first challenge. Yes maybe creating your own mix of CCV2 and CCV2R consisting of all the ones you like and making the warm up longer would be just the ticket. Great idea and way to customize things to work for you. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. I explained everything above and hope to clear this last hurdle with flying colors and lots of prayers and well wishes too!;):)

Chris- Hi! I hope you had a fantastic workout for today to kick off for a wonderful Friday. I got the test results back today, negative/normal on both pap and HPV test. Whoooo Hoooo!!!!! :D:cool: Now, the only thing is see about getting a cyst my doctor noticed six months ago we knew of and its still there about the same size. My doctor suggested to wait another six months and see if its still there, but I think I'd rather get it removed and make sure all is well. Please take care and be well. I didn't sleep very well last night and I new I had to be to work early so I didn't get a workout in. I have and ear infection but I don't want to go to the doctor we now have a co-pay thanks to the new healthcare laws. Thanks everyone for your concern.

Debbie-I have my yearly checkup in March so I am going to ask about my hr then. I think its the cold meds and migraine pills.

Nora-I am happy to hear you are clear of HPV and my daughter gets cyst quite often eventually they pass but sometimes they have to be removed because they get to big.

Belinda-good job with your workouts.

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a great workout!! I ran .25 miles more on this workout than normal so I guess I was really into it. Had fun!

40 minutes total and ran 2.5 miles. Burned approximately 360 calories.

No time for personals but Roxie - I hope you are feeling better.
