Good morning,

I was so sore yesterday, never got a cardio workout in. Even my butt is sore:p My shoulders'chest & triceps are still so sore, I never had DOMS like that before. I will make up for yesterday's missed workout, not sure when. I hope I can lift my BB to do my back and biceps today:eek: I hope I didn't rip a muscle. Yesterday I did Ab Circuits Pilates-based abs, that was painful:rolleyes: Now my legs, chest, shoulders and abs are sore. I like beening sore, but not like this. I did took a nice hot bath last night, which helped a little.

I will be back with personals and to report my workout.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I have been MIA lately. I have had bronchitis for the past 4 weeks and it just won't go away! My workouts have been few and far between which is upsetting but that's life. I was finally starting to feel better this week and my husband got food poisoning and has been home all week. I'm hoping to get back to normal soon! I did Upper Body Pyramid today and I can't believe how it got to me! My arms feel like jelly right now.

Good Morning,

Tonite I am going to attempt SJ&P wts only and then try to get that stretch in that I haven't manage to get done yet. I plan on keeping my barbell lite so I doesn't irritate the back.

Bev-hope you get to feeling better soon, and I hope DH gets better soon.
 
Well, this is suppose to start my recovery week but I'm doing Meso 1 for one more week. That will take me to my vacation and that will be my recovery week.

I did Meso 1, Disc 7, Chest, Shoulders & Biceps. Had an ok workout. It was one of those mornings where I just should have stayed in bed. It's rainy and cold here today.

Crossover Pushups - 16

Dropsets:
Standing Overhead Press Both Arms (dumbbell) - 20's/10 reps
Standing Overhead Press Both Arms (dumbbell) - 17's/10 reps
Standing Overhead Press Both Arms (dumbbell) - 15's/8 reps (was suppose to be 10)

Barbell Curl- 45#/10 reps different rep counts
Pushups on Stability Ball Elmo Style - 15 reps (This time I got to about 10 reps. Then I stopped. Don't like these.)
Standing Front Raise (barbell) - 25#/15 reps
Seated Incline Hammer Curls Both Arms - 17's/16 reps
Chest Flys (Flat Bench) (dumbbell) - 27's/15 reps
Seated Overhead Press (dumbbell) - 15's/15 reps
One Arm Preacher Curl Stability Ball (dumbbell) - 20#/15 reps each arm (I like these)
Push Ups - Standard - 8 reps
Push Up Wide - 8 reps
Push Ups - Standard - 30 reps (did all on my knees, had no energy for pushups today)
Alternating Seated Overhead Shoulder Press (dumbbell) - 12's/15 reps
Seated Barbell Isolation Curls - 35#/15 reps
Chest Flys on Stability Ball (dumbbell) - 25's/15 reps
Lateral Side to Front Combo (dumbbell) - 5's/15 each side
Incline Band Hammer Curl - Green band (this exercise was cool)
Straddle Pushups - 18 reps (these are easy for me)
Side Leaning Lateral Raise (dumbbell) - 5#/15 reps
Seated Curls Alternating + Both Arms (dumbbell) - 17's - 16 reps then 4 reps with both arms
Staggered Pushups - 16 reps (I really like these)
Bow and Arrow w/ Band - Green Band
Barbell Curl Wide Grip - 40#/21 (7 low, 7 high, 7 full)

Skipped the drop sets of pushups. Didn't have it in me to do them, plus I was running out of time.

Standing Upright Rows (barbell) - 40#/15 reps
Alternatating Standing Curls - 20's/16 reps
Pushups - 21's (7 low end, 7 high end, 7 full (Loved these too)

Skipped the last tow exercises, ran out of time.

Hi ladies. I got up and did SB this morning. DH and I both took the day off and are about to head to our home town (about an hour away) and play tourists for the day. Thank you for the anniversary wishes.

Hey Again!

I survived! Actually , #3 wasn't too bad, compared to #2. NO 180's, no 2 Legged jumps onto a 4 riser step . The only killer one was the one-legged squat thrusts with a jump (on one foot!!). Ummmm... not happening here! LOL!. I did try, but spotted a LOT with my other leg and then did the last 3-4 with 2 legs. I'd say I felt like puking twice. Yay! LOL!

My legs were sore, I went very conservatively on the weights. it was a KICKBUTT week for my legs this week, Plyo, A Run, and the Plyo again! My quads were mostly sore from my run yesterday.

Belinda: Ohhhh..you are sore, huh? This week is sore for me too (not sounding as bad as yours though!), doing Meso #3, Week #1, plus did 2 Plyo Legs. It brings back memories of being sore all during STS, really. Not sure I'm liking the unrelenting DOMS so much....

Bev: Sorry to hear you've been sick AND your DH! Nice to see you back though!..PUB is a goodie!

Debbie: Nice job on weights today, esp not feeling it. I've been meaning to ask you, did you do 1RM's or are you just playing it as it goes?

Roxie: Be careful with weights today! Are you done with SI6 now? Do some good stretching before/after right?

Nora; I'm debating on whether I'll do Powermax tomorrow. (I switched up and ran yesterday). I'm beat from all this weight work and cardio this week! A TON of cardio with the Plyo Legs twice, don't ya think? AND I've got a ton of DOMS to boot!

Chris, No I didn't do the 1RM thing. I think it's a waste of time. Plus I've been lifting weights for so long, I pretty much know what my 1RM is on most all exercises that matter.
 
LOL, Heather! I know, we are definitely "crazy"!! Or people OTHER than us would think so , anyways....

Debbie: I pretty much figured. That's cool you know your weights so well! I think the 1RM's was a huge dreadfactor for me for STS.
 
Chris-I thought I would try it again Monday and see what happens. I would really like to give it a chance but not if it is going to cause back issues.

STS Meso 3, week2, Disc#29= 50 min
Calories burned= 410

This was tough for me today as my knee problems seem to be reminding me they are there and I'm hoping for just a short visit, LOL!!! I had to modify many of the plyo moves. I attempted them as cathe had shown but could only do half of the reps of the plyo's so I modified them and did the remaining plyos for each plyo move shown. My knees seem to feel sore today and I don't want to irritate the problem further. So, I did the best I could I did get it done though!

That's it for me today. Tomorrow is schedule to be Cardio Coach Volume 1 and STS Ab Circuits Pilates Abs. I hope my knees will be ok to do cardio coach tomorrow.

Debbi- Wow! Vacation coming soon for you I bet your looking forward to that. Do something fabulous and fun, ;)

Chris- I did Cardio Hits Power Max yesterday, it was tough but fun. I know you'll be fine with it no worries.;) Doms are like regrets I have a few,LOL!!!:D Have a great workout!;)

Hi girls!
I've worked the last 9 out of 10 days and I'm pooped! My stomach issues never resolved themselves, so I went to the dr today. Gastritis, we think. They went ahead and did bloodwork since I've not had it done for years and years. Over the last couple of months I've lost about 5-6 pounds because my diet has greatly improved. However, all the greens I've introduced are wreaking a little havoc, possibly, also stress (did I mention my husband had a whole MONTH of vacation!?!?!), work, lack of consistent sleep (I get up at 345am), etc. So I'm taking a pill at night for a month and I'm taking the weekend off!
I haven't worked out for DAYS..... But I did get my new Ab Circuits and CTX and am looking forward to being rested enough to tackle them.
You guys are doing great plugging away!
Debbie, you must be so excited for your vacation. I hope you guys have awesome riding weather!

Chris, nice job with plyo legs. I don’t like been that sore either, now after 4 day’s my DOMS are finally letting up. This week has been the worst DOMS I ever had, I couldn’t move my UB! Never had that before.

Nora, awesome job with D 29, hope your knees are feeling better for CCV1 on Saturday. Haven’t done Power Max in a long time, glad you had fun.
