Good morning,


My workout for today is M2 disc 14, legs:rolleyes: My legs are still sore, I still don't feel my UB! LOL! I never got my ab workout in, didn't had it in me.
I will do it today:p

I am just finshed M2 disc 14 (legs);) I like it! LOL!

I also did the extended stretch, my legs are tight! I still need to get a ab workout in today.

I will be back to post my workout. BBL!
 
Must rest today!! I am feeling just plain old worn out. Not sure I could get my legs working properly to do much of any cardio. They aren't sore from legs yesterday, just tired in general. I am experiencing extremely delayed DOMS from PS. I did shoulders on Sun, and am feeling them now, along with biceps. Not sure if that means I'll have DOMS in my legs tomorrow or Friday! LOL.

Belinda - sounds like you got the ultimate UB workout huh???? You must have really pushed yourself good (or bad depending on whether or not you like DOMS). :p

I need some opinions and a kick in the ass. Since doing Burn it Up Monday nite I have extreme low back pain so uncomfortable I can't sleep and I was wondering if it is because there were alot of front kicks and back kicks, Standing side oblique crunches that she does really fast or the plie squat side bends. I also have lost the motivation an the drive to workout that is where the kick in the ass comes in.

Belinda-congrats on doms and I am glad your sinuses are holding up this time.

Heather-enjoy your rest day you deserve one.
 
Roxie - maybe you should take the day off today and rest your back for starters. It also sounds like you might need to just move on to a different workout/rotation. You haven't seemed to really enjoy this one very much so that has to make it harder to get motivated. If you aren't enjoying it, then it becomes a struggle. I find that when I hit that place, then I am not even getting an effective workout and it's just a waste of time. That's kind of how I felt yesterday to be honest.

Hi guys! I have been taking a bit of a computer break- just feel like it was becoming kind of a time suck and I needed to focus on some stuff around the house. So I will check in from time to time, but maybe not every day. I miss you guys, though.

Heather: I'm hanging in on our rotation, although I did GS this week and picked up where I left off. I am loving it combined with MIS but wow, does it wear me OUT! I thought chest day was especially tough. Instead of GS legs, I did Meso 2 week 4 legs with DH this morning- same idea so I figured why not? Then I did the SB work from Meso 1, week 4. "As for PS, it does kind of sneak up on you- I agree about rep speed but really enjoy the leg workout in that series.

Roxie: Do what you like and if a workout or rotation hurts or isn't fun for you, move on! Life is too short. :) Have you looked into that Physique 57 workout? I might try that one eventually and it looks kind of fun and different.

Hey Belinda! Those meso 2 leg workouts give me the worst (or the best) DOMS! Enjoy. :)

I am a slacker on abs this week and I don't care! :p
 
Today was STS Meso 1, Week 4, Disc 12, Legs. Had a good workout, was sweating like crazy by the end. I was only able to do one of the bonus exercises becasue I had to start dinner for tonight. I made something in my slow cooker. Should have started a bit earlier.

This is suppose to be my last week, but our vacation doesn't start for another week so I figure I'll repeat one of the meso 1 cycle next week. I'll just do 5 weeks of meso 1 instead of only 4.

Warmup:
Squats ( 16 reps) + DB Plie Squats - 15's/ 16 reps each exercise
4 Point alternating Lunge (ft/45/SD/BK) - BW
Firewalkers (band) - Green Band/tons of reps

Workout:
One Leg Elevated Lunges - 15#/6 reps different rep counts
Deadlifts Wide Stance (dumbbell) - 25's/15 reps
Front Lunge Same Leg (dumbbell) - 15's/15 reps
Squats (dumbbell) - 35's/16 reps
Calf Raises (body weight) - 35's/40 reps
Leg Press (dumbbell, High Step) - 20#/15 reps each side
One Leg Slide Back Lunges with Paper Plate (dumbbell) - 12's/16 reps each side (stupid plate exercise!)
Side Slide Lunges with Paper Plate - 15#/16 reps each side (stupid plate exercise!)
Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform (dumbell) - 25's/15 reps
Wall Squats Double Leg - BW/8 reps different rep count
Lateral Step Ups (dumbbell) - 15#/15 reps
One Leg Sit N Stands - 10#/15 reps each leg (I don't like this exercise at all. It's too hard for me to keep my one leg up.)
Squats Narrow Stance (dumbbell) - 30's/15 reps
Calf Raises (body weight) - 30's/40 reps
One Leg Deadlift (Toes Elevated) 3/1 Count - 15#/12 reps each side
Static Low End Lunge Same Leg 3/1 Count - 12's/12 reps
One Leg Sit N Slide with Paper Plate - 12#/15 reps each side (stupid plate exercise!)
Calf Raises - 30's/34 reps
Outer Thigh Lift on Stability Ball - 32 reps each side (These killed me)


ROXIE - I say take a rest day too. Also, take 3 Aleve in the a.m. and 3 in the p.m. until the pain subsides. Ice it too. Kickboxing does this to my lower back as well. You have to be really careful with the kicks.
 
Hey everyone!

God, it feels like I got beat up last night! My arms are STILL DOMS'ing from Monday and now my lower body has FRESH DOMS! Holy COW, PLYO LEGS really got it good. That's the most DOMS I've had from the workouts in the last , who know's how long! It's the "moan and grimace every time you sit to pee" DOMS.

Today is STS MESO 3, WEEK 1: Chest and Back. So that will be fun to add THOSE parts in for DOMS too!!!

It's the STS thing, I swear. This entire rotation, I never got so sore. I think Belinda knows what I'm talking about!!!

Heather: Sounds like you could use a good yoga day! (me too!) I do find that PS goes fast as well. Actually EVERYTHING will seem fast after STS Meso 3!!!

Roxie: It sounds like YOU could use a good stretch day too. Those oblique crunches tend to make me lower back hurt too. Maybe you do need to find a good rotation you'll look forward to. It has to suck to dread it every day.

: That Jillian workout sounds kickbutt yesterday! And then you added Plyo Legs? :eek: You nut you!!! How is your lower body feeling today?

Debbie: Oh ya! Sounds like STEP would NOT be a good idea for you! Maybe wrapping your knee would help a bit. Hope it's better today!
 
Debbie - I did the same thing with Meso 1 - 5 weeks worth because of a vacation. I think I repeated week 2 and just went up with the weights. I really think it was beneficial for me before moving on to Meso 2 actually.

Great job with the workout!

Patti - glad to hear that you were able to get back to the rotation. I am scheduled to start week 4 on Sat which is using Meso 2 week 1. Kind of nervous for some reason. Afraid to see how much my weights are going to drop!!!

Chris - you are sooo right about everything feeling fast after Meso 3!!!

Debbie-I took the 3 alevee you recommended and I will take 3 tonite. I will just do some pilates with band work tonite and then see how it feels tomarrow.

Great job on all of your workouts today!^^^5's.

Here's my workout today:

STS Meso 3,week 1,Disc#27= 61 Minutes
Calories burned= 500 Calories approx. Phew! That was a challenge but fun. The weights listed in my already calculated STS sheets were right on the money for the most part. Good stuff today!!!:)

STS Ab Circuits-No Equipment Abs= 17.5 minutes
Calories burned= 104

No equipment doesn't mean its a cake walk, trust me. This is Cathe so you know your gonna feel those ab muscles big time. I do~! LOL!!!

Chris- Yeah, yesterdays workout was a killer. Jillian definitely is tough and is big on making you sweat and fight to finish her workouts. It makes you have respect for the contestants that have her as their trainer. Yikes!!!

Ok, ladies seeya at tomorrow's check in! Sleep well and if your feeling Doms from your workout I suggest a nice warm epsom salt bath. ;);)

Nora, awesome job on D 27 and cal. burn. Glad your weights were right on the target. I forgot to tell you, my DD bought all 3 Jillian Michaels DVD/s for me:eek: I told her not to sent it, since I am still doing STS.
