Hi girls!
Oops! I forgot to check in earlier. I even finished today's short workout early today too. Oh well, I'll check in now.
Here's today's workout:
Les Mills Pump- Pump & Burn= 35 Min
Met Value= 6.50
Calories burned= 311
I used #15 BB warm ups, #20 BB, #35 BB, #10 (1) weight plate for abs.
So not a huge calorie burner, but such a fun and challenging workout. Wow, all the reps really get ya too. I think i did 100 or 200 reps and wow, the lighter weights high reps are a challenge especially the shoulder and chest set gets ya good. I'm lovin' Les Mills Pump, the music is awesome. The energy level is fun and all the instructors demonstrate great form and helpful form ques and hints to remind you. I'm really glad I got this and the 3 cardios as well, great investment. Speaking of investments, I caved today and bought the Turbo Fire Starter Pack as a teambeachbody member I get 10% off the regular price so that helps. I'll have to wait a couple of weeks or so before I can get Michelle Dozois's More Cardio Interval, and More Cardio Strength but I definitely want those. I agree Jillian Michaels Body Revolution looks awesome and is very time friendly and typical Jillian tough, which is good cause I do like her. I'll have to keep watch on that system and see if the price drops, fingers crossed, eh Chris.
Chris- Good for you to get out and enjoy good weather and taking advantage and getting in a nice run. Its great too that you ran stairs too making a very fun and challenging workout, bravo girlfriend! Oh to answer your question the Les Mills Pump is a 90 day rotation or 12 weeks. I'm currently finishing up week 4 tomorrow. Its been fun and challenging and I'm great form tips too, and the music is awesome, love it
Roxie- I totally sympathsize and can relate to sinus headaches and pressure, its so hard to function like that I know, so bravo on doing all that you did. I hope tonight went better for KPC timesaver cardio you planned, that is a fun workout and great for relieving any work related stress. LOL!! I hope your feeling better and have a good nights rest, take care my friend.
Debbie- Oh girl, I feel your frustration and irritation at sinus pain and pressure causing headaches and all sorts of hell. I think people sometimes downplay when others get painful sinus pressure they think so its a little cold or runny nose. I beg to differ sinus pressure and pain is hell, no other way to describe it. I've had sinus pressure so bad my teeth ached and my face was swollen and I did experience dizziness and dizzy spells and lack of balance with it. Its a nightmare so I totally feel your pain. This is week 3.5 for me and I still have post nasal drip, nasty deep barking cough. I'm still not 100% its just a slow process to get rid of this stuff. Yes, good decongestants are very helpful unfortunately in Oregon where I live you can't buy pseduofed (sp?) which does work well without a prescription or anything that contains that in it. Its a stupid law, so I have to go to the doctor to get a prescription so that's about $130 office visit plus about $55 for prescription for antibiotics and decongestant that works. I had 1 round of antibiotics different kind, finished them all and didn't work on the sinus infection and had a second doctor visit and prescription but for a broadspectrum antibiotic this time, ugh so expensive. So glad to hear you did take decongestants and feeling better and a little more like human. I see you did a total body workout as well, ^^^5's that is a big accomplishment when you haven't felt well. WTG girlfriend and I hope you'll continue to feel better and the decongestants offer more relief as well so you can function and get rest as needed. Get well girlfriend
Belinda- Great job of getting in workouts eventhough you're not feeling a 100% with sinus infection and stuff ((Hugs)). Yesterday, I see you did S&G cardio only + LIC Tri sets UB splits and walked the dogs. Today you mentioned taking the dogs for a walk and doing Yoga Max, sounds like a great plan. Take it easy and don't over do it. Please take care, and well done on your workouts, WTG!!

Yes, Sean's workouts are all magic and awesome and I've learned great on spin bike as well as treadmill. I know you can use them on any cardio machine and just use them outside running, walking or biking as well I just haven't done that yet with them. Trying them on the bike was new for me and I found it very effective and fun.
That's it for me tonight and I wish you all to be free of sinus issues and good night's rest. Sleep well!
Hugs to everyone!

Nora
