CRACY, STRONG AND LOVING IT January 2016 - January 2020

Today I did Body Beast Bulk Legs. Had a really good workout, love this one. That Eric guy is annoying, though. I was hoping I'd have enough time to do a quick cardio coach but this workout is 40 minutes. So no go there. Hoping I can get a run in this week.

Single Set
Front to Back Lunge:
10's/12's/15's - 15/12/8
(I did static lunges. These types of movement lunges bothers my knees)

Progressive Set
Dumbbell Squats:
12's/15's/20's/20's/15's/12's - 15/12/8/8/12/15 reps

Force Set
Full to 1/2 Sumo Squat:
25# - 5 sets/5 reps no rest

Progressive Set
Split Squat w/Bar:
20#/30#/35#/35#/30#/20# - 15/12/8/8/12/15 reps

Super Set
Stiff Leg Deadlift:
20's/25's/27's/20s - 15/12/8/8 reps (Last two sets were drop sets)
Alternate Side Squats: 10#/12#/15# - 15/12/8 (I did wide stance squats, knees don't like this one)

Super Set
Calf Raises:
25's - 1 set/50 reps
Beast Abs: 1 set spelling the word BEAST
Only did this once because I wanted to get on my treadmill

Then I walked on my treadmill for 1 mile.

Jodi - Love my soap!! Been watching it since 1983!!! Nice workout!

Roxie - So was yesterday your last day? Hope you can find something you like when you move.

Today I did Cathe Live Legs On Fire and the XTrain 100 rep challenge for hip thrusts. For the first time ever, I used a 70 lb barbell for that one. My legs are not on fire...they are incinerated!!

Workout was 35 minutes, Avg. HR was 80, Max was 115 and burned 97 calories. Really? I didn't even break 100?

Today I did Body Beast Bulk Back. Had a great workout. Was careful because my upper back is really tight.

Pull-Over:

Pull-Up: 3 sets/10 reps (I used my Blue bands)

Progressive Set
Reverse Grip EZ Bar Row:
25#/30#/35#/35#/30#/20# - 15/12/8/8/12/15 reps

Force Set
One Arm Row:
25#/20# - 5 sets/5 reps no rest (had to drop in weight, this was tough)

Single Set
Deadlift:

Plank Rotation: 5# - 30 seconds 2 sets

I walked 1 mile on my treadmill at a 3% incline and fairly fast pace.

Today I did Cathe Live Strong Total Body and STS Total Body, Compound Exercises Only + No Abs premix. First time trying both of these and loved both. Loved the pull-ups in the STS premix...makes me want to do STS all over again!

Today starts the bulk phase of Body Beast. Love this phase. I did Body Beast Bulk Chest.

Force Set
Chest Press w/Rotation:
22's - 5 sets/5 reps no rest (adding 2#'s to this made a huge difference - tough!!)
(Killer!)

Progressive Set
Incline Press:
15's/20's/25's/25's/20's/15's - 15/12/8/8/12/15 reps

Combo Set
Close-Grip Press to Fly:
15's/17'/s/25's - 15/12/8 reps (upped the weights here too, very tough)

Multi-Set
Decline Pushups:
15/12/8 reps
Russian Twist: 30 seconds 2 sets

Workout was 31 minutes, Avg. HR was 82, Max was 108, burned 80 calories.

Then I walked 1 mile on my treadmill.

Nice workouts this weekend everyone! I am so lazy on the weekends!!!

We celebrated my birthday yesterday and we went to Olive Garden. I had the chicken parmesan and was sick the minute we got back to my moms. Not puking sick, out the other end sick. That is the second time that has happened to me with that meal. I won't order it again. Still had a great birthday. Cant believe I am 51 today. Yikes!!!!
