Cookie cookie cookie!

With it being fall, I have baking on the brain. I am always grateful for Cathe because then I have a chance to burn off a small nibble of a cookie. I'm going to bake a batch of oatmeal, raisin, walnut, shredded coconut, pear sauce cookies this afternoon for my Mom's birthday tomorrow. I'm also going to bake a chocolate birthday cake.

So, what are your favorite cookies of all time? Top 5.

That cookie sounds divine!!!

My favorites are:

  1. Oatmeal Raisin
  2. Chocolate Chip
  3. Peanut Butter Blossoms (w/a dark chocolate Hershey Kiss)
  4. Thin Mints
  5. Caramel Delights/Samoas

Good thing those last two can't be made at home! I would be in a world of hurt from doing so many Cathe workouts to burn them off!

1) rolled sugar cookies
2) seven layer bars
3) oatmeal chocolate chip
4) Brownies (do these count as a cookie)?
5) m&m cookies

OK, now I'm hungry!

My mom's oatmeal cookies are my favorite. I am a cookie monster and will eat and enjoy every kind of cookie. My second favorite would be my grandma's molasses cookies, they are always soft and mine turn out as rocks.

Seriously, I have issues, I just re-organized this list 4 times before finalizing.

Favorite
1 Chocolate chip
2. Health Bar Toffee chip cookies
3. Caramel/Samoa Girl scout cookies
4. Any blondie/bar type thing, but that's because of the chocolate chips!
5. Oatmeal raisin or craisin

Cookies I would never choose over the ones above:
Sugar cookies (why bother) I do like those shortbread cookies though.
Ginger snaps
Peanut butter
Can't stand anything with white chocolate chips, white chocolate just goes against nature. :p

Dela,

I just laughed and laughed at your post. I see myself in it.

I would have to say my top 5 are:

1) peanut butter chocolate chip
2) chocolate chip
3) gingersnaps
4) brownies
5) oatmeal chocolate chip (no raisens, don't want to ruin them)

mmmmm yummmy:p

1. snickerdoodles!!!!
2. chocolate chip oatmeal
3.anything with coconut
4. white chocolate macadamia nut
5. who doesnt love a cookie :) :D

Absolutely, brownies are a cookie. I love them!

My top five (absolutely open to change without notice.)

1. Gingersnaps- home made with lots of candied ginger and honey in addition to molasses.

2. Brownies- Very dark with dark chocolate added to the batter along with walnuts and extra cocoa powder. Sometimes I add coconut flakes

3. Soft sugar cookies- decorated for any holiday.

4. Toll House recipe with trail mix instead of just chocolate chips. These are also great with peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips or white chocolate chips and then dip the cookie in melted white chocolate.

5. Chocolate crackle cookies- these are wonderful and easy to make without a mixer because you cut in the butter like you were making a biscuit or pie crust. Add orange zest for real punch/finesse.

Curry, curry, curry!

I'm not much of a cookie person... but LOVE a really hot & spicy curry when the weather is cold and the leaves begin to change!!

Yeahh Fall!!

Hmmmmm, top 5....Well let's see:

Peanut butter cookies

Oatmeal cookies (no rasins)

Shortbread

Sugar cookies

Pumpkin cookies

Yummy :)

nicole- Pumpkin cookies sound good. I think I had one last year. I would probably eat most things with pumpkin in it, pie, cake, cookies, smashed pumpkin like a mashed potato, pumpkin in ravioli is good too.
