Good Morning!:)

Soooo sleepy! Didn't get to bed until 2'ish and up at 7 to get my workout in b/c I did nothing yesterday! The hard part is getting out of bed, once coffee ( or foffee;)) is in hand, everything seems easier! LOL

We had over 116 kids here last night, its the first time I ever counted. I think my SIL said that she had over 200 last year, so of course we must have had the same b/c she lives next door. I have a few treats left over. Most cheeses for DS and the bars I like...punks weren't getting all of them:eek: Most people give out what they like so they won't eat it...I on the other hand keep it! haha!

DS didn't go trick or treating. Like I said, he is obssessed with pumpkins so the furthest (and I even got him dressed) he would go was to my SIL's house...where the stupid blow up pumpkin is. It was freezing out and I had no interest in standing up and watching him look at a pumpkin all night. Plus,it was raining and windy! Im kinda getting over the fact that he is a baby and he doesn't get over my time anymore. We use to let him off with alot but only b/c we thought he didn't know the difference. I wasn't giving him his way last night and standing up outside instead of hitting the neighbours up for candy...forget it! But he doesn't know the dif anyway and enjoyed watching people come to the door.

I uploaded some pics to FB. We also went to a halloween party where I was a corrections officer. Lots of men offered to be punished last night:confused:;).

Wendy** Did Joey have fun? Nope, no point asking me about a rotation. I still haven't found one I wanted to do so I am just doing my own kinda workout and winging it. How were the eats yesterday????

Jen** Whats on the go today? I know you love Sundays so you must have another relaxig day planned?

Jacque** What workout did you do after? If i were close by I would help you with some of the things you need done. I hate feeling like I am losing control and can't keep up. I haven't felt like that in a while though and its not b/c I haven't lost control! LOL I think I just realized that with DS, there is no control! I do what I can and thats it.

Diana** Did you have any luck finding the receipt? You will when your not looking for it!

O.k...so I am going to do a run on the TM and for the first time ever...my coffee is all gone! I usually drink it all on the mornings I have no plans to workout but not when I get up super early...I think I may have another 1/2 a cup!

Good Morning Girls!

I am not happy. I got up this morning at 6 and within 15 minutes (not even enough time for me to get a sip of coffee down my throat!), both DH and DS had gotten out of bed and come in the room to bother me! I get up early every single day so that I can have time chill out, drink my coffee and play on here and FB in peace and quiet. This morning it all went to hell! DH actually went back to bed after about 15 minutes but DS is ofcourse still up. He is usually good and will lay down on the couch for the first 30 minutes and just watch tv quietly but for some reason this morning he is not doing that. He has been in here every 5 minutes to tell me or ask me something since he got up. :mad::mad::mad: I hope I don't sound like a mean, cranky b*tch but actually that's how I am feeling. I REALLY need my time. :(

Ok, enough complaining for one post! :p

So I ended up doing CC&B y'day. I actually felt well enough to do MIC but I was having a hard time getting motivated and CC&B was easier to convince myself to do that's what I did! :p I will bang out MIC today though for sure! Tmrw will be Max Recovery (I love it, btw! TOUGH STUFF!) and then Tuesday I will start the final week. I still am not sure if I will do those 3 work outs from week 1 of month 2 that I missed. I will make that decision when the time comes. I suppose it depends on if I am tired of Insanity by then and ready for a change or still willing to get my arse kicked by Shaun T. for another few days! ;)

Lori:: Joey had a blast. He was able to trick or treat with my SIL's neighbor's 2 kids. Sal, I and their dad went with them. I went for about half of the time but then it started to rain so I hightailed it back and Sal and the other kids' dad finished up w/o me. Between the trick or treating and the candy that was given to him by family he came home with FOUR BAGS!!!!:eek::eek::eek: It will NEVER all get eaten. It never does! I won't let it happen! He is not allowed endless junk food, goodness knows I won't eat much of it and even Sal isn't big on the chocolate/candy thing. What a friggin' waste! :rolleyes: So apparently the eats were OKAY for me y'day. I was very conscience of how much I ate and I only had ONE drink at the party. When I got on the scale this morning I was exactly the same weight that I was yesterday so I guess I did good! :) I also took my BF% measurement this morning and it is down a good amount from last month! YAY!!!! :D

Jen:: So as I was telling Lori. I guess I did OKAY y'day with the eats y'day b/c my weight is stable and my BF% is DOWN from last month! :D So are you still planning on an X rotation after Insanity? I am trying to decide between the X and SS....you knew that was coming, right? ;) If you are going to do the X I will seriously consider it but if you change your mind then I admit I will likely lean towards SS so let me know. :) Hope you are feeling 100% soon!!!!!! Hey, we should plan another GTG for the spring! What do ya say?

Good luck to Jarrod on the competitive b-ball team! He is really into his sports huh? Sounds like my cousin. He was always big into sports and started reffing many years ago. He has been a part time college basketball ref for many years now. He tried to make it into the NBA but something dumb held him back. I feel bad for him. :( That's great that Sony was able to help you with the rcpt issue! Good thinking to call them!

Jacque:: I hear ya on the early morning work outs while DH is still asleep. I am in the same situation with my work out area being right next door to the bedroom. Thankfully during the week I can wait until he gets up at 6 to start my work out but he said once his alarm starts going off (he's a big fan of the snooze button!lol), it's fine if I want to make some noise so potentially I could get started up to an hour prior. You MIGHT find me lifting at that hour but you'll NEVER find me doing INSANITY that early!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Okay, this is a very long post. I think I am done with it now. LOL

Time to eat, work out and go shopping for work clothes!

Hi Girls!

Depsite the fact that I was super lazy getting my backside out of bed, I had a awesome workout. I was a sweaty disaster! Its the most I have sweat in a long time...even when working out with ShaunT!
I haven't done a circuit in a while so thats what I decided to do. I use to always do circuit workouts using the TM but had't done one in ages. So I picked CC#3 and HST. I would do a challenge, then get off and do a round of weights. My HR felt pretty high during some of those step ups. I did some of the challenges 2x's making the run 51 mins long. I was probably working out for 1:20 or so.

Wendy** Good to hear DS had fun last night.I never thought about it until late last night but perhaps I should have packed DS up and just took him to a few houses we knew. Its a pain getting him in and out of a carseat though. I think he would have cooperated more if he had left the pumpkin behind! Oh well..its a story to tell him when he gets older.
It took me a looong time to get use to my morning coffee/cathe time getting interupted but its a daily occurance now. Before I had DS, my running partner would show up in the morning with her coffee and it would drive me nuts! I use to drop DD off at school, pick up a coffee, come home and she would show up! All i wanted was my Catheland time! It drove me crazy!

I will bbl girlies!!:)
 
WOW! I kicked MIC's arse this morning! I did a bang up job on that work out if I do say so myself! I'm proud of me! :D

Time for shopping! BBL! ;)
 
Hello chickadees!

Reading your posts is making me feel guilty about not working out again! I actually went out to the garage and popped in MIC and made it about halfway through the warm up before I gave up. I'm coughing up a storm and feeling generally icky. Yesterday ended up being a day of queasiness and tummy troubles, even after waking up and seemingly feeling better :( I think I need to rehydrate today and chill...which I'm pretty good at doing on a Sunday ;)

Lori: I'm not at all surprised the men were asking for punishment last night! I saw your sexay pics on FB. You look gorgeous, of course! I didn't have to go out trick or treating last night either, yay. DD probably went for her last time and her dad did the honors because I was not feeling well. We had the same weather you were having so I wasn't disappointed to say the least ;)

Wendy: Yes, yes, YES to a GTG in the spring! Maybe a two nighter in AC? It'll take me about five hours or so to drive there, so we should think about making it two nights. What month do you have in mind? I know exactly how you feel losing your ME time! I still grumble if I hear my kids getting up before my coffee is even brewed, and they're independent enough that I don't have to tend to them for breakfast or anything. I just don't want to start dealing with the chatter! I have to admit that I'm reconsidering the X rotation. I'm really not sure I'm ready to give up Shaun just yet! I'm thinking about putting something together using his UB workout and a mix of month 1 & 2 workouts for the cardio, and likely a lower body workout once a week. I'm just not sick of it yet, and I can't think of anything else I'd rather do. Better just ride the wave while I can, ya know? So whatd'ja find shopping?

Diana: I'm glad to hear you say that Imax 3 was easier than you remember! That is a question I've been wondering about all through Insanity...if other workouts will seem easier now. I was kind of surprised last weekend when I went out for a run on Sunday and found it harder than it used to be, but in hindsight I think I was starting to come down with this cold. Plus I don't do as well in the cooler weather anyway. I think Insanity was a great investment, because it's something that will always be useful even when not in an actual rotation of it.
 
Hi ladies,

I've been up for hours but am just getting around to posting. I didn't work out yesterday but am making up for it today! I did Amy Bento's Slo Mo total body premix and abs, KPC, and I still have my last spin class to go this afternoon.

We didn't have many trick or treaters come by last night. Jerod was pretty mad at me since I told him he was too old/big to go. He's 5"7 and in 8th grade. I told to make plans with his friends. I offered to take them to the high school where they have a haunted house and were giving out candy etc. He waited to long and his friends had other plans.

I'm considering doing the last week of Insanity with the rest of you. I may start it on Tuesday since I have an early morning meeting tomorrow. Monday's a.m. w/o will have to be short. Tomorrow is the first day of the Holiday Meltdown class. It's similar to bootcamp, but inside. The first class is spent doing weights and measurements, max situps and pushups, 3 min step test for HR and flexibility meaesuremnt.

Lori-Nice circuit this morning. I like circuits quite a bit myself. Loved the halloween pics. DS is still very young, he will have plenyt of chances for trick or treating.

Wendy-Joey looked so adorable! He's at the perfect age to really enjoy it! What I nice feeling when you know you've improved on a very tough w/o. Great Job! Have fun shopping.;)

Jen-Sounds like you need another day or so to recover. I haven't tried running in months. That might be good for tomorrow morning. A 3-4 mile run is probably all I would have time for. As long as its not too cold! Maybe even a M1 Insanity w/o since they are shorter.

Jacque-what are you up to today?

Hi Girls.

Well, my shopping trip was a success. I bought 2 prs of pants, 5 or 6 tops and 2 prs of shoes at Kohls. Actually put a few things back cause I had too much! LOL When I got home DH went out to the driving range and then to do some shopping for himself. He ate dinner while he was out so it was just DS and myself tonight. Easy breezy. I love it when that happens. ;)

So tmrw's work out will be Max Recovery and that will finish up M2 W3 for me!:) Lookin' forward to some oblique DOMS on Tuesday from that one! That reminds me! I did the floor portion of Cardio Abs after CC&B y'day and I don't have DOMS from it!? I don't know if I should be happy or sad about that! :confused:

Lori: Great creative circuit work out you did today! Nothin' like workin' up a good drippy sweat, huh? LOL I've been sweating buckets since we took the A/C's out of the windows! It's getting in my eyes and going up my nose when I bend over. I look like I just got out of the shower when I am done! :eek: It's all good though! ;)

Jen: I emailed my BB Coach about getting my hands on the Insanity Deluxe disc. When I get it, perhaps I'll join you in whatever rotation you create! Heheheh. AC HERE WE COME! LOL

Diana: Look forward to having you join us for the last week of Insanity if you should choose to. Sorry you got burnt out on it. I am still loving it! It's amazing considering the exercise ADD that I have! :p Sorry about Jerod and the t or t'ing. You know, I don't mind giving candy to ANYONE of ANY SIZE or ANY AGE so long as they are dressed up. What I HATE are the teenagers who put very little to no effort into dressing up and still want candy. I would love to refuse to give it to them one of these days. It makes me soooo mad! :mad:

Well I feel like I can finally come and post since I FINALLY DID A WORKOUT ! :p Just finished up Terminator, IMax Extreme and Diana, I agree it doesn't seem quite as hard now. My shoulders are tired from painting yesterday and hanging blinds today so didn't want too much UB - it was perfect. Thanks Lori for reminding me of circuits - I remember you did a Terminator w/o not too long ago. Easy to pop in and go . . .

Lori - Just absolutely love the term *foffee* ! It's so darn cute ! ;) Hope you can catch up on your sleep - I had a good nite's sleep and felt ready for the day this AM. We had some gorgeous weather for fall - was nearly 80'. Cute pics on FB girlie ! I understand where the guys were coming from. :rolleyes: Guessing next year will be a better Halloween for DS - it will make more sense to him I'll bet. We bought 3 bags of candy and had only a handful left - not bad for our neighborhood. Some really cute little ones came by, was fun ! Nice w/o - you inspried me for circuits today and I enjoyed it.

Wendy - Poor thing - I so love my "me" time. I stay home when DH plays hockey so I can have it. Sometimes, especially lately, I get *aggravated* when DH comes home from work before me. I like hanging out for a bit while it is quiet and I'm by myself (and I don't even have kids around ! :eek:). Lately the work has been slim for DH and he has been leaving after me and coming home before me ! :mad: Ah well, hopefully that will end soon. So yes, don't feel bad, us Moms/wives just like our space since we are constantly attending to the needs of others. We need it ! Nice job on the workout - think I'll aim for the last week of Insanity and see how far I get . . . Was right there with you shopping though mine was Costco (last day for coupons) and I did hit Wally World and picked up a couple of clothing items - tops and cardigans. Yea us for shopping for us ! :D

Jen - Sorry for the bug you still have - so hard to workout when you are coughing. Don't feel bad as I have only worked out a few times a week for the past couple two or three weeks. You need to get better first, workouts can wait. Besides, stress and sick is a bad combo so get better and start back up again. ITA about Insanity - love the HIIT workouts and feel they will be great additions to rotations. Now I want my STS Cardio to compare. Sounds like they will be different but as intense. Can't wait !

Diana - Did you enjoy your spin class? Sounds like you definitely made up for yesterday. Sorry for Jerod but sometimes when you snooze you lose and it's one of those life's lessons. I do remember going out in Jr Hi and running around for hours with a pillow case. First year we didn't have lots of teenagers. He'll survive . . . So going right into Holiday Meltdown already? I remembered you really like those classes. Will be fun for you to see your measurements after Insanity. I do think it really added to endurance even though it seemed so tough.

Okie dokie girls - time to get moving. Still need to paint baseboards, wash away the grays and shower after eating. DH actually got dinner going early ! Woo Hoo for me ! ! !
