Good Morning:)

You girls suck at keeping a lonely girl company;).

I think today will be legs and cardio. I would love to do a long run outside but that would mean that someone would have to watch the boys and I think its going to be warm today so I would have to go soon and that's not going to happen. It's only early so I may tackle the digging out the laundry room now before everyone starts getting on the go. There's to much crap in this house and some of it doesn't even belong to me. I would like to sell some stuff but having a yard sale is to much work! I could post stuff on eBay I guess.

Hi Ladies,

Got all my stuff together, just waiting for my training partner to get to load up the bike. I should be out of here in about 20 mins.

I'm still nervous about the swim, but I will get through it!

Lori-sorry I wasn't around much yesterday...booh. Thanks for the well wishes!!! I too have a ton of stuff in my house that needs to go.

Lori:: Whoa whoa whoa!!!...I ALREADY look fabulous, honey! :p LOL As do you I am sure! :)

Diana:: Good luck with the tri today! If you add 1 mile to your long run for the next 4 weeks starting next week (so long as I am counting the weeks til the race right...)...then you can hit a 10 mile training run one week before the race, rest and then do the half the following weekend. 10 miles is the top distance in a lot of HM training schedules. If you can do 10, you can do a half. Just don't try to run too fast!! HTH you decide!:)

Ok, I gotta take a shower so I can get my toiletries packed away! If I have time, I'll come back when I'm done!

ETA:: So I did TTM y'day and I survived but wow was it tough! I think it's definitely harder then Crossfire!

Good Morning

The girls are here again today. I wasn't watching them last week b/c they had French camp. I have them for 2 weeks, then they are going away and I'm going to go to my parents for that week before school starts. It's crazy to think that there's only 3 weeks before we are back into the swing of it...and DS is school....not sure how that's going to go over!

Yesterday's workout was 20 mins on the TM, tabata spin,GS legs standing work and Kari Anderson's abs. Today will be some kind of UB and cardio. It's rainging here today and suppose to be like this for the next couple of days. The kids might go crazy. I'm going to have to start working LB a little more. I lost 4 lbs last week and I think it must have been 2 lbs from each a$$ cheek cause it's looking rather flat!!!! Not good. A few people have told me its the smallest they've seen me but I don't think I am. I think they were just use to seeing me pregnant!

Wendy** I'm guessing your leaving for your vaca? So jealous! And yes....I am aware that you already looking fabulous and you couldn't possibly get any more fabulous:p. DD came out of her room yesterday and said " arent you glad you don't have a ugly daughter" as she was swinging her hair:rolleyes:

Diana** so how was it??? And what did you decide about the half!? Im sure you enjoyed it.

MONDAY

Morning ladies ..

guessing Wendy is on the high seas today .. I know she is soaking up some sun and having a blast!!! FRI was HORRIBLE .. got bad news .. and now DH and I disagree on things .. and it was just a MESS! IS just a mess! IDK .. I am not positive .. and I am not used to being this negative and DROOPY ... I dont like it! but once again .. my outlook on people and lilfe is just SH##y ...

SAT - me and SIL did S&G .. ok either I did a premix or I was on crack last time I did it .. i remember thinking it was easy ... but I tell you .. my thighs were on FIRE .. and we both were dripping sweat!! we both were cramping in our back tho .. that was odd! SUN I did nothing .. emotionally drained .. and my fffn ear and head was KILLING me! sucks .. and now it is monday :(

Lori - sorry I was MIA this weekend .. when do the kids start back to school? some schools started this week here ..

Di - LOVE the tri pics .. you rock! and I see you survived and you are even smililng in the pics :) and a victory beer at finish line .. that is the way to do it!!

Wendy .. drink some for me .. and have some fun for me!!!

OK .. better run .. have a great one ... I am working in another office .. came in .. the drawer in the safe is stuck .. the printer went down .. the power cord was messsed up to the computer ..the radio is static .. been on the phone w/IT all morning .. ugh .. YOGA will be done at lunch .. and then tonight it may be go home and crash .. we will see if the yoga revives me!

I would have made Wendy proud .. well .. sort of proud .. I DID YOGA .. yes .. but it wasnt pretty!! :confused: :eek: it is a given proven fact now I need to do yoga again .. I have lost some flexibility .. and strength! yikes .. embarassing!!!
 
Hi Girls..or Laura:)...do you think everyone has disappeared b/c we are no fun to be around anymore?! Lol. I feel like sending you a PM cause I think we can relate to each other even though the situations are different im sure. I've just decided to roll with the punches and take it as it comes.

My workout today (so far) was 4DS and HR UB..minus chest. I am debating going for a run soon or later or in the basement again after dinner.

Laura** yes I feel your pain. Last week was so emotionally draining. I was getting a little stressed earlier just thinking about stuff but I can't let it get to. E I could be stressed for months at the rate things are moving along. I need to concentrate on the kids.

Good Morning:)

I should have went to bed earlier. The baby went to bed before 8 so I knew I was in for a early morning. He woke at 4 and thank God went back to sleep until almost 7. DD stayed home last night and she wanted me to watch tv with her and she wouldn't let me go to bed....I fell asleep twice on the couch.

It's suppose to be raining again today but it looks like the sun is trying to come out! I hope so. I have some laundry that needs to be done and now that I've had a cloths line since DH left, I don't like putting cloths in the dryer. It's cut down on my light bill big time.

I went for a run yesterday evening. I did 10k and I did it at a pretty good pace. I really need to up my distance if I plan on doing that HM. I know one girl that's already started training and she's pretty sloooooow....if she beat me I would not be happy! Lol. Could be classic tortes and the hare story! Today I think I am going to do chest and a leg/run circuit, probably LM.

I will bbl...hopefully someone else might pop in! I need to start recruiting members or something :p

Hi Ladies,

I'm Here, I'm here! Just been busy at work. I did heavy leg training at the rec ctr at lunch and bootcamp class last night. I did 4 sets of 12 reps of leg curls, leg extensions, DB Squats, plie squats, but only did 2 sets of lunges. I got really light headed after the second set of lunges, that rarely happens to me. I didn't want to pass out in the rec ctr. I didn't use very heavy weight at all since I haven't been lifting much. Hopefully I'll get my strength back in a few weeks. I followed all that up with some weighted ab work. We did a ton of running in bootcamp class. I've been wearing trail running shoes but they were never really that comfortable. I need new running shoes bad.

I've decided against doing the HM next month. It's simply too expensive and I'd rather spend that money on clipless pedals & shoes for my bike.

This morning I'm planning on doing GS C&T and if I have time DWP. Today is a vacation day for me and I'm taking the girls to a local water park for a few hours.

Lori-funny you should mention the clothes line. I so miss my clothes line. DH put one up at our previous house and I loved it. I wasn't always waiting on the dryer and the clothes dried so much faster outside, and they smelled so good too! I need a new dryer and will probably switch to gas since it is so much cheaper to run than the electric dryer. Enjoy your run if you are able to get outside, hope the rain stays away. When do your kiddo's go back to school?? Jerod's first day is August 21st.

Laura-Yoga....did you say yoga???:p I need to get on that too. I may just start with Cathe's yoga at some point. Did you read about the benefits of yoga in Cathe's weekly newsletter? If not, go check it out. Sorry about the bad news, {{{HUGS}}}. Hopefully you know what the damage is and can make the necessary changes to avoid this in the future.

another ruff start to the day ... couldnt find Buster this morning .. scared me to death .. thinking the worse .. but he had snuck into my room and was laid up in my bathroom .. whew ... then I dropped my face powder on floor TWICE .. tehn i dropped a thing of open yogurt ALL OVER my kitchen floor .. then I went to lock our gate and the stupid chain was stuck ... :confused::(:( I felt tears welling up .. and somehow calmed myself down .. and thank goodness made it to work w/o incident!:confused:

Lori - great workouts ... LOL about the tortise and hare ...

Di - yup .. you sound like i did when I started back on my Cathe workouts after my running stint ... it is tuff to get that different endurace back ...

OK .. soooo today is errands at lunch .. and tonight some sort of Cathe workout .. or run .. have a great one!
 
Hi ladies,

It's been a busy day with the girls. After GS C&T and DWP, I took the girls to a kids waterpark and then to mcdonalds. I posted a couple pics on FB if you want to check those out. The girls had so much fun going down the slides! We spent about 2 1/2 hrs at the waterpark and another hour or so at mcd's. The girls wanted to play after they ate their lunch.

The girls are now down for quiet time and grandma is working on the laundry and house cleaning a bit.

I need to go shoe shopping. I bought a dress but need a pair of black heels (not to high though). My stinkin' toe doesn't bend back like it should so I need to keep to lower heels...it's so annoying but doable. Running shoes are also on my list and Kohl's is having a shoe sale starting on Thursday!

Laura-sorry you had a rough morning...hopefully the day improved for you. The leg dom's are definitely kicking in this afternoon.

Lori-what did you end up doing today???

Thought there was going to be an extremely early start to my morning but thankfully the baby went back to sleep. He was awake at 5:40.... We didn't be up until 7:30 though...phew!

Yesterday's workout was GS and HR chest and abs and a circuit with the TM and LM. I'm not sure what I will do today. Def something UB and cardio. Im thinking about going home this weekend so I want to get in whatever weights I can. And hopefully while I am at my parents I will get some kind of longer run in.

Diana** I bet the girls are having fun with you! Your keeping them occupied, thats for sure. Do they ever get homesick? What did you think of the tri? And did you decide what to do about the half?

Laura** oh my...some times we have those mornings where you just want to go to bed and start the day over. We've all been there. I've had to talk myself through it to. I've had to talk myself through a lot of things these days. I hope today is better for you!

I will bbl to report my workout. There isn't much going on here today...it's raining again:mad:...but I can't complain. We've had a wonderful summer.

Good Morning Ladies,

I spent a fun day with the girls yesterday. It's back to work today though. I'm thinking about taking Friday off too and taking them back to the water park. They really liked being able to go down the slides by themselves.

My legs are so sore this morning, kickboxing may be the cure I'm looking for this morning. I'll pick something out when I get downstairs. I started following the Ms. Fit program I got several years ago. Today will be Biceps & Shoulders (I think) at the rec ctr. I didn't want to start STS since we are going on vacation the last week of the month. Perhaps when I get back would be a better time to start a longer rotation.

Lori-I've opted against running the HM. My feet hurt from running in bootcamp and that's a turf field. Not sure my feet are up to a HM on pavement. Hopefully I can incorporate a bit more running in my rotation though. Actually the girls don't really get homesick. They talk to their Mom all the time though. We need some rain, send it my way please.

Laura-Hope your day is off to a better start!

Hi Girls

Today's workout was Amy Bentos slo mo shoul,bics and tris and ME (finally got it working) shoul,bics,tris and abs. My FIL came by around 3:30 and took the 3 kids so then I packed the baby up and we went for a 13k run. It was the perfect temp outside. I wore shorts and a tank but could have worn capris and I don't think I would have gotten to hot. Tomorrow I might do AB and a circuit...we shall see. ME leg work looked good too when I was skipping through the chapters.

Diana** I'm kind of on the fence about the half b/c my knee feels funny. It doesn't hurt...just feels weak. I text one of the girls who committed to it but she didn't text me back. I guess I have to do it if she is in training mode. It wouldn't be wise for you to If your feet hurt. Have you ever been properly fitted for sneakers? Maybe you have a different insole or something.

I will bb in the morning! All the kids are home tonight. DD went to gymnastics yesterday and now she can barely walk ..... Lol

Good Morning

Must-Go-To-Bed-Earlier.......

The baby is up before 7 which isn't the end of the world but I didnt feel like getting up just yet. He was also up at 4:30 b/c he went through his pjs (why does that happen sometimes) and I felt better at 4:30 then 6:40...oh well, I'll survive, I always do!

I was thinking that today would be AB but my UB is so sore it might not be a good idea. Maybe I'll do the LB work in ME and a run...so another circuit. I may actually start early b/c I am up so early. I think I am getting together with some friends after lunch so I should get a earlier start to my workout. It's suppose to be sunny today but I don't know how warm. Seems like our summer is coming to an end....but a nice Fall would be great. I could get lots of running in with the kids in school :)

Good Morning Ladies,

I was rudely awaken by DS's alarm going off over and over again.:mad::mad::mad: He uses his cell phone alarm, but it wasn't in his room it was downstairs. Needless to say this Bi*** woke him up to go get his phone and turn off his alarm.

Never did make it to the rec ctr yesterday for Shoulders & Biceps. I can do that at home this morning though and have bootcamp tonight.

My tri pics were emailed to me yesterday, only getting out of the reservoir and running though.... oh yeah...crossing the finish line too! I may select a digital download to keep in a scrapbook.

So I'm splurging on myself for my upcoming birthday. My aestheticians office is having a special on microderm/hydrafacial this month. My appt. is tomorrow and I'm so looking forward to it. I need botoxed again but don't have the money for that after paying for DS's school.

Lori-Sounds like you got in an awesome run yesterday! Have fun with your friends today. It's nice to have friends and family to keep you occupied. My feet hurt due to having 5 surgeries and screws in my right foot, and I have a bunion on my left foot. I'm hesitant to have my left foot fixed due to all the problems I've had with my right foot. I always get fitted for my shoes and have orthotics that help but running for long periods of time really hurt my feet.

Laura-how are you holding up? What have you been up to?

SOrry I have been MIA - too much fffn stress in my life .. I was in training most of ystdy - I dont have any workouts to report :( :eek: have had something to do everyday that made working out impossible - so I am feeling FAT .. FAT @$$ .. soooo I WILL BE going to the cc today and doing weights and mabye a run!!

DI - would love to see your finish line pic!! Saw the girls .. at the park .. wow they have grown .. and sooooooo cute!!!!! How long will they stay w/you!!! how fun!!

Lori - nice workouts! I have got to get out of my head .. and into my workouts again!! before I lose my sanity and gain too much weight!

hope Wendy is having fun for me .. b/c this week has been one of the worst!! guh!

Good Morning

Yesterday's workout was 40 mins on the TM mixed in with ME legs. After I was done that I decided to do the chest and back work too. I'm not sure what I will do today. I am going to my parents house for the weekend so I have to pack but I've gone so many times with the baby that I pretty much know what I need. I use to have to make a list so I wouldn't forget anything.

DH wants me to come visit again but I don't see it even being possible. It's such a long haul and once we get to oct month he will only have a few weeks left. Unless there's a seat sale I don't see that being possible and I don't see a seat sale being possible out of here!

Disna** stupid me....forgot about your foot surgeries! Does it hurt to walk or just the pounding? I use to love looking at race pics...some nicer then others...lol. I eventually always noticed where the cameras were and instead of looking like I wanted to die, I'd smile and wave! Lol It seems like its been ages since I've raced...and it as!

Laura** I think my workouts are the only thing tht keep me sane but everyday isn't that emotionally draining and I think I've come to terms with a few things...and no caring is almost one of them! I use to care what certain people thought but I don't even care about that anymore. Cause I've come to realize that the only way these people would be happy is if our lives were in shambles and we were left dealing with everything. Looks good on um I'd say! Hope you have a good weekend though. Try to stay positive!

I may bbl tonight! If not I will check in from my parents house in the morning. I think I will do some packing while I get my 2nd cup of coffee!

Good Morning Ladies,

Oh my gosh, my body is so sore from bootcamp class last night. We did a ton of running and hills. I feel so out of shape from tri training for so long. It just isn't as intense as the bootcamp class and I've missed a lot of bootcamp classes this summer. I'm actually going to miss the 2 classes the last week of August while on vacation. We are having a September session and I should be able to make all of those classes.

Yesterday I did GS Shoulders & Biceps and bought new shoes at lunch.:D I bought some inserts for them but need to add the metatarsal pads too. They made a huge difference. My old running shoes were 18 mos old...way too old.

Today calls for legs & back, but I'm not sure what I'll do since I'm working from home. The program I'm following is calls for equip that I don't have here, but just improvise to use what I do have.

I'm back to following weight watchers...I'm so close to getting under a weight that I haven't been able to surpass in years. My body is a lot softer than what I prefer due to the lack of weight training. Hoping to the weight training will firm me up and give me some definition without adding any pounds.

Laura-Sorry for all the stress in your life. We definitely need our exercise to keep the stress levels manageable. The girls fly out on my birthday, Sept. 1st. We are taking them to the Condo with us the last week of the month.

Lori-have fun at your parents house this weekend! I'm sure DH gets homesick at times, it's such a long time to be away. He's about half way through...right? You are doing a great job keeping things going at home, keeping the kids busy etc. High impact hurts my feet more than it used to. Since my big toe joint has screws in it, it doesn't bend upwards which hinders pushing off when running, burpees, lunges, etc. Wearing heels (unless their low) is out of the question. I'm considering having some of the hardware removed in December. It's another surgery but shouldn't be too bad. I'm not sure what to do about the bunion on my left foot since it has become increasingly more painful over the years.

Hi Girls:)

The baby has been in bed for a while and I'm hanging with DS watching the Lorex. I'm hoping the baby stays asleep for the night. He went to bed at 7, which is early for him but he was so tired and I couldn't keep him up any later.

Today I did AB mixed in with the tm and bike. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a long run outside if my mom isn't to busy. She runs a bed and breakfast (which I'm sure I've told you before) and all of the guest are leaving tomorrow so all of the rooms will need to be cleaned. Plus she invited a couple of my aunts here for dinner tomorrow evening.

Diana** thats awesome about your weight loss! Have you been doing anything different or is it the tri training? Do you have anything planned for the weekend?

I will bb in the morning while I'm sipping my coffee!
