Commit to get Fit & Lean January 2016 - 2026

Hi,

Yesterday wasn‘t a good day for me. I was down for the first time in 5 years. The end of this month marks 5 years when I was diagnosed with RP. On top off all this, I wasn‘t expecting this outcome from my neurologist.

My rheumatologist called me yesterday. I am glad I got to talk to him. I was very concerned about the new meds I am on. I was wondering if it has something to do with the aneurysm, he ensured me it has nothing to do with the meds. It has other side effects but not cause an aneurysm. He wants me to take it easy, not get my blood pressure up and my heart rate. No heavy lifting. He recommended very light weights and high reps. No high impact Aerobics. Protect my head from any injuries. We also discussed when to seek medical attention if I get a giant headache or don‘t feel well.

Debbie - thank you for your thoughts and prayers! I really appreciate it. It‘s just a lot lately. I hope I get an appointment soon too. Keep you updated. Nice job on your walk and gym workout.

Cookie - great job on your walk and essentrics. Thank you. I hope I get some answers soon.

I am going to get a light workout in.

I did CL# 229 Awesome Upper Body. It was perfect. She did higher reps on most of the exercises.I used lighter weights, still got a good workout in. Push ups on the bench, I did on the wall push ups. Triceps dips on the bench, I did triceps press down on the bowlex.

Have a great workout and weekend. I need to look for high reps CL workouts this weekend.
