Hi,
I had physical therapy for my shoulder and knees. My physical therapist gave a few pointers on what no to do since I can't do anything overhead/pushing off anything. I thought I could do chest presses laying on the floor, she not to do this exercise. I guess, I work my biceps, triceps, a few back exercises (that doesn't use my shoulder) and standing lower body with bands/2 pounds. DH and I went for a 2 mile walk today.
Debbie - I been calling to see if someone is cancels their appointment. Fingers crossed. Maybe not doing a lot will teach me to slow down, lol.
Melissa - great job on ICE UB today. Thank you! I did a lot of research online, I found out people with autoimmune diseases get it too. It didn't made any sense to me, I do workout every day. I do use my arms a lot. It's defiantly not from not using my arm a lot. Last year, I had adhesive capsulitis. I did really well with physical therapy. This time, I am not doing so well. Up until a few day's ago, I still was doing STS. I was in a lot of pain, I still worked out daily. DH called the ortho today to check if someone canceled ,lol. He got the nurse on the phone, she made sure to remind my husband that I follow the instructions the gave me a few day's ago. My physical therapist, she is amazing. Of course, some of the exercises she gave me a while ago, I shouldn't be doing like wall climb, corner stretch (can't do any push exercises). I been masking since I heard it on the news, I take 2 different immune depressed meds. One is a chemo one. I hope your dad recovers quickly from covid. Covid is still around.
Cookie - how is your mom doing? Sending you more prayers and healing vibes.
I will try to check in later.
