Hi,

I did XTRain burn sets: Bic and triceps. My knee is so swollen, I can't hardly walk today. I have an appointment with my doc tomorrow.

Debbie - I try to find/work around my injuries. Great job on your yoga yesterday.

'Evening! Not sure why our internet went out last evening, so I couldn't post. Today did sts D19 chest, shoulders, tris. Forgot how long some of these workouts are - 70 mins!

Deb, glad you're feeling good. Do you get to see parts of Hawaii with your Zoom yoga?

Belinda, glad you're going to see the dr tomorrow!

Today was a walk outside & Gym Style Chest & Tri's. We planned a last minute trip to FL this weekend Saturday-Thursday. We are going to see friends of ours from Canada. The good thing is I'll just pack a small bag.

Belinda - Nice X-train workout! Good luck with your knee appointment tomorrow. Sorry it's so swollen.

Cookie - I forgot how long those workouts were too. I don't remember the times for the new STS workouts. I asked her why she didn't do her yoga outside on her balcony. I think it is a lighting issue. She does it in her apartment. Not like Gilad:) Actually when her dog was alive it reminded me of Jessica Smith (I think that was her name).

Hi,

I saw my doc and got the results from the x-ray. My doc was on vacation last week. I have Tricompartmental arthritis in my right knee. I can't hardly walk without being in pain. My doc is sending me back to the orthopedic. I will make an appointment next week after my sinus surgery. Until then I will take easy on my knee. I want to go for a walk, just can't without being in a lot of pain. I am also bone on bone.

Today will do a seated stretch, no pressure on my knee.

Debbie - thank you. At least now I know why I am my so much knee pain and it's is constantly swollen. Have fun in FL. I need a vacation.

Cookie - yes, the STS workouts are long compared to what Cathe is putting out now. I still love STS. Once I figure out about my knee, I want to revisit STS. Great job yesterday.

Happy Friday! Got in a long walk today. My stepmom is coming in for a quick visit, so tomorrow may be a rest day. She does enjoy walking tho, so maybe we can get one in.

Deb, that's really great that you'll see your friends and be in Florida! And to only travel with a small bag. Life is good.

Belinda, glad you at least found out what was going on with your knee. Hope you rest up before your sinus surgery.

Hi,

Today was a walk outside. I ended up packing some warm clothes just in case. I feel so bad for my SIL, her 18 year old dog was hurt by one of her other dogs. Not sure what provoked the dog. It needed to be put down because his jaw was fractured:(. It’s sad but had a good life. It was on loan to my in-laws for about 5 years after their dog passed.

Belinda - Its good they know what’s wrong with your knee. Take it easy and rest up for your surgery. Step by step you can take care of everything.

Cookie - Have a nice visit with stepmom. So nice that you still keep in touch.

Ramped Up Upper Body (from the Strong and Sweaty series) plus bonus abs on the dvd is done. The ab workout was tough. I had to modify quit a bit. Had a great upper body workout.

Debbie - awww...that is so sad about your SIL dog :( Every time you have more than 2 dogs, there is problems. Thank you. I will take it easy and take it day by day.

Cookie - hope you having lots of fun with your stepmom.

We arrived in Florida. Our airport just renovated one of the terminals. It is beautiful and state of the art. They even have lounge chairs. They had bomb sniffing dogs going around everyone at the gates. It is big with lots of walking.

Belinda - Good upper body & ab workout! I hope swelling is improving. I think my SIL has too many animals 3 dogs & 3 cats + her son moved in with his big dog. It sounds like a full time job to me!

Cookie - Enjoy your visit. We were expecting a nice weekend in NJ, hopefully you too.

I am trying to get mentally prepared for my surgery on Wednesday too. I got a call today the anesthesiologist wants to see me tomorrow? I don't know what this is all about. I am a little confused know :(

Debbie - my surgery is on Wednesday. A nice walk on the beach sounds lovely.

'Evening! Got in STS 21 yesterday and today was a walk. Had a really nice time this weekend.

Deb, glad you got lucky with the weather! That is so sad about your sil's dog. Tragic. How long will you be in FL? It's supposed to be below zero here next week.

Belinda, glad the sweeling has gone down. Hope everything goes well with anesthesiologist tomorrow.

Belinda - Nice workout! I’m not sure why I thought your surgery was Monday. Usually you meet the anesthesiologist right before surgery. The good thing is if you have questions you will have the opportunity to ask them.

Cookie - Nice that you enjoyed your weekend with your stepmom. Good job with STS 21. Unfortunately I get home for the really cold temperatures:(

Evening,

The reason she wanted to see me is, I have irregular heartbeats. The anesthesioligist wanted to get an EKG to make sure I am good to go for tomorrow morning. My surgery is at 5:30 am. Yikes, that's early!! I am the first one. She also went over all my meds. I am getting nervous.

No workout to report today. I have to leave the house at 4 am.

Debbie - the anesthesiologist did answer a lot of my questions.I also had to see the nurse, she went over a lot of things and I had to sign my life away. Nice walk on the beach. I much rather hang out at the beach.

I will check in when I can. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow. I am getting nervous.
 
'Evening! Got in a walk today and sts 22. Actually just finished that sts workout but I really want to finish the mesocycle before the weekend.

Deb, a walk on the beach must have been so lovely. Hope you got a good memory of it b/c you may want it to help warm you up when you get back. It was already colder today than yesterday.

Belinda, glad you're all set for tomorrow. We'll be thinking of you.

My surgery went well today too. My appointment was at 5:30 am. My surgery wan't until 7:30 am. It was snowing here this morning, we left an hour earlier. I wasn't released until the afternoon. I had a lot of bleeding in my noise and throat. My surgeons, anesthesioligists and nurses were all amazing. Before they took me to the OP room, the anesthesioligist gave me a shot to prep me for surgery to take the edge off, I was giving a second one in the OP room. I don't remember much afterwards. I was giving 3 heated blankets, it was so cold. They kept asking me if I needed more blanckets. I also had some electric compression socks during my surgery. The sinus specialist and the anesthesioligist kept checking on me after the surgery. I am on antibiotics and high doses of prednisone. I have a nasal stray to stop bleedings and another to smoothing my nose. I have a lot of rinses which I can't take until Sunday. I will get the stance out on Monday. My doc staid I had a lot of scarring not sure if it was from my old surgery/RPC or all the sinus infections I had over the years after? He went all the way up near my brain and eye. I was a little worried about that.

Today was a walk on the beach. We did some thing around the condo and will leave in the morning.

Belinda - Happy to hear your surgery went well. It’s great you had such a nice group taking care of you. I’m sure your family was worried. Take it easy & wishing you a speedy recovery:)

Cookie - The weatherman here made it clear the low temps northeast were not wind chill temperatures but actual :oops: I will be wearing my warmest clothes when I get home. Stay warm!

Hi,

I am checking in. My nose is completely closed off with blood. I called my doc this morning , he said to gentle use warm water to losing up the blood that formed/closed my nostril. I can breathe a little better now. I want to blow my nose and sneeze, I am not allowed too. I can't wait to see the doc on Monday to take out the stance in my noise. I haven't taking any pain meds yet. I ask my doc if I can go for a short walk staring tomorrow. He said it was ok as long as I am feeling ok. I am taking it easy and watching some tv depending on my sinus headaches. Pain is manageable. I can't do vigorous activities, no lifting or bending over for the next 2 weeks.

Debbie - thank you. It's hard for me to just not do anything. I am going to take it easy and follow the doctors orders.
