Belinda, about how long are your workouts? I can tell you are really enjoying this rotation, and the best: you're getting good results.
Amelia, congrats on the job. That's great news! How's your dh feeling? Isn't it amazing how low their pain threshold is? Can't imagine them making it one month as a female.
Lori, you can do it. You are so committed to things once yo set your mind to it. It sure is a juggling act, tho.
Iris, how's your mom doing? I'm so impressed that you're going to do the competition.
Helene, hope the antibiotics are doing the trick. My head is so clogged this morning, but I think it is also the humidity in the air causing havoc with my sinuses, plus a cold. The 12th works for me - does it for you and Iris?
Deb, hope everything is well. Thinking of you.
Trish, when was your birthday? Sorry I missed it. We should make up a list of them so we all know.
Kristen, learning about the new technology can sure soak up hours. How are your boys doing?
Melissa, did the hole suck you in? Hope all is going well with you. Hang in there. How many more days?
Was supposed to do disc 27 with dh but he's not getting up, and since my head is reverberating without doing anything, I'm okay with it. Definitely couldn't handle hiit, which was my backup plan to do without him. Loving the warmer weather, but it makes loading the web so much harder. Last night tried for 20 mins and page still hadn't finished loading. Long day today meetings nonstop thru 10 pm. Then the hour drive home.

Good Morning Ladies

Never got a workout in yesterday....:( To be honest, it was a bad start to the day....real bad.... UGH. But!! It got better, so one day at a time. There's worse things in the world than a bad day at the office I suppose.
So today I will do the cardio I was going to do yesterday, Rhythmic Step, that's always a feel good one, and then tomorrow onto STS Legs.

I will try and catch up on personals here.....

Belinda- Have a great workout today! Did you decide what rotation you'll do next??

Kristin- How was PLB? Still liking your smartboard?

Melissa- Where are you, I need to ask you something....:rolleyes:

Lori- Apology accepted!! LOL. Seriously though, can't imagine everything else on top of it!!! :eek: Kudo's to you if you can make it work! Nothing wrong with setting back the date!! I, unfortunately, signed up on purpose to keep my ass on track. I learned the best I can with Medical stuff, and let me tell you, the most random thing will show up on the test...lol (but don't sweat it, really), and not only that, but when I do consultations, and start asking questions, etc etc, and they yap about their medical history, some terminology comes out, and it's good to have at least heard of it....lol

Cookie-My mother is doing real well at this time. :) If anything, she's holding me up lately. :confused: I've learned something about mother's .....(since I'm obviously not one), is that being needed brings some kind of perk and life to them. Does that make sense? I was so careful about not needing anything from her the past couple of years....wrong move. I don't hesitate to ask her for anything anymore.....regardless of how she's feeling, because when I do, I notice her whole demeanor kind of perks up. :) Omg at your day!!! I thought I had long days!! Ohhh...I need to pm you question too..LOL Funny about your DH not getting up......hehe.

Amelia- Congrats on your job!!! Woo hooo!!! Tell us more when you can. So what's your action plan for your recovery week, just gonna do some cardio stuff? Hang out with my man Rodney?

Helene- When did I start this?? 5 , 6 days ago?? I'm down 3 lbs....fml....BUT I guaranfreakingtee it's alllll the stinkin' water....LOL. And maybe yesterday's stress.....so what's the plan for the weekend? (ahem, Cookie)

Deb- Are you on vacation again?? Normally I remember if you are..... Or is Macy's going nuts with displays? You know, it must be that, because isn't there a Halloween deadline for you this year??

Trish- How's STS going for you?

Dang I need to catch up. So busy around here. Thank god I have got the help! But I feel like I'm not pulling my weight :(

Anyway, I think the antibiotics are doing their jobs. Still have a cough and a plugged nose this morning with a headache to boot. I'll be late at work with Cookie. What kind of a life is that?

Belinda: Don't worry, I'm in no shape to work out at the moment. Take your time. I've still got some other workouts to get to and the new ones are bound to be out soon. :) That is sure to be a kickass week when they come out!

Cookie: the 12th works for me. Not sure if Iris is working at OTB though.

I am done with my Legs and Calves wo! Had a great workout today. Loving working legs.


LEGS:
Squats - 65#/15 reps - 2 sets (warmup)

Squats - 105#/6 reps - 3 sets, up 10#
Squats - 65#/25 reps, 8#

Leg Press Station - 180#/6 reps - 3 sets, up 30#
Leg Press Station - 105#/25 reps, up 5#

Leg Extensions - 60#/6 reps - 3 sets, up 5#
Leg Extensions - 36#/25 reps, up 1#

Deadlifts - 70#/6 reps - 3 sets, up 5 #
Deadlifts - 45/ 25 reps, same as last time!

Lying Leg Curls - 65#/6 reps - 3 sets, up 5#
Lying Leg Curls - 30#/25 reps, up 4#

CALVES:
Standing Barbell Calf Raises - 100#/25 reps - 4 sets, up 5#


Cookie - the workouts are 60 min or under an hour! Not to bad! You do need to have access to a leg press and hack squat! I love this rotation, I will add 2 more weeks to it. HUGS, hope things will slow down for you soon.

Iris - right now, I will add 2 more weeks to this rotation:p to make it a total of 8 weeks. Haven't decited what I will do next? And you? Hope you get a workout in today.

Helene - hope things will slow down for you too! I will try to get you the rotaton this weekend!

Good Morning

So, couple of things going on with me. First, yesterdays orientation was CRAZY! I had to end up rescheduling it for today. To make a long story short ( my blog has the whole story) It was crazy and embarrassing on my end:eek:.

And the scale just lit a fire under my butt this morning. I haven't weighed in a while and :eek::eek::eek: up 7 frickin lbs!!!! Good grief? Time to get really serious here about my eating! Im sure a lot of it is water weight but wow, TOM is lurking, so im hoping thats the culprit.

ok...i will try and check back in later. Gotta get my power walk done and catch up on the laundry. DS was sick all day yesterday with a temperature ,he's feeling better today and was able to go to school. DH is doing better too. but i hardly got anything done yesterday, my MIL came over because she is scared to death of storms so i spent the day entertaining her and taking care of my little man.

Today i plan on doing some 'cleaning therapy' ( love my MIL but OMG she drives me nuts:confused:)

Morning ladies,

No real work out for me to report today. I did my knee exercises and stretches which was only about 25 mins. Fingers crossd that it helps. Think my dreams of a circuit this week are over! LOL! Tomorrow I will likely do BM2 DBL UB premix. Then it's M2 on Sunday:cool: I just downloaded the work out blender. I'm going to install it at work and at home:) I hope it works pretty well. I just realized that we should be receiving shipping notices soon for pre-orders. Woohoo!!

Belinda - how many weeks are left in your rotation? Please copy me on your message to Deb with the rotation. It sounds like a winner to me;)

Amelia - ^5 on landing the new gig! Checking out the blog to find out what happened with orientation... Bummer on the scale. I won't go near mine:confused: Yup, the eating screws us every time. We'll both get it under control, though. Sometimes we just need a wake up call.

Lori - Boy, sounds like you've got a lot going on. I know work, the kids, hubbie and housework is enough to stress you out. Throw in anything extra and I'm liable to blow. I think you have a good plan though. The winter would be a great time to start studying! I don't know how anyone's knees can survive a marathon! I wouldn't make it down the driveway without keeling over! The stretching section at the end is really good.

Kristin - Nice job on PLB yesterday:) How are the boys enjoying school?

Iris - Enjoy RS today! :cool: about on being down 3lbs! I am past due for a WI. It's been a couple of months. STS has been great. I actually think I'm enjoying it more this time around (thx for inspiring me:D). Looking forward to starting M2 on sunday.

Helene - I LOL at your 'what kind of life' comment:eek: Sounds like you could use a sick day from work...

I'm baaaaaaaack!!! I've been delinquent on my check-ins! We got back from Boston Monday (had an AWESOME time!!!!) then Monday night I'm telling Mark "I think I have vertigo." He's like ok you're nuts. Woke up Tuesday with an ear infection in my good ear :( My head felt like it weighed 1000 pounds. I called out Tues but of course that was the end of the world and I was expected back yesterday; came in to the hole and felt like CRAP. At 3:30 they're like "You look terrible. You can go home if you want." I said at this point, what is the difference?! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I am feeling way better today though.

Cookie, 78 days to go!! That's also counting vacation days, holidays, and weekends :D:D:D

Amelia, that is awesome news about the job!!!! CONGRATS!! I am so happy for you!!! Oh ok don't think I'm psycho but I had a dream about you the other night. You invited Kristin & I to your wedding and you lost so much weight that your dress was falling off and you kept tripping on it. I'm like "Kristin, we need to buy Amelia some designer flip flops so she can walk down the aisle." It was weird. :confused:

Iris, I did RS last night; LOVE that one!! I am going to remember that: "There's worse things in the world than a bad day at the office." That i some good advice. Ask away!

Lori, I don't know if it's what you need but I've seen anatomy flash cards in Barnes & Nobles that have all the muscles, bones, etc. It might help with your studying? You will do great! Try not to get too stressed about it.

Helene, I hope you get better soon! Maybe it's this crazy weather that is getting everyone run down? I will prob make a lot of enemies by saying this but I can't wait for fall temps to come back :eek:

Kristin, how did you get 5 classes on the subway?! YIKES!!!!! Were they well behaved at least?

Trish, you start M2 on Sunday? I start Monday. I can't wait!!

Belinda, I'd love to see the rotation too!!

Deb, hope your week is going well!

I have so much to do. Still have to make the belt for my Jem costume for the party this weekend. I also have to invest in some Spanx because there are bulges where they shouldn't be, namely my stomach!!!! OI! That's what I get for not working my abs as often as I should. Tonight I'm being super ambitious and planning on doing SPC & then going to a friend's bday. Let's see what happens...;)

Hello to EVERYONE i missed, gotta scoot. workout done, power walked with cassie for 1hour, exactly 4miles. Burned 458 calories.

Well tonight's workout was PUB, to complement PLB. I have to say doingmore lifting and less cardio hasn't been all that bad. Although, I am seriously looking forward to doing just cardio tomorrow. Cannot decide between my favorite, IMAX 2 or something else. I haven't done CCC in a while, but that might kill me, lol.

Trish- Nikolas is loving kindergarten and Chris has adjusted nicely to preschool, thanks for asking. I think we are all in the swing of things now. I cannot believe the first quarter is almost over!

Melissa- 78 days is nothing! We counted down longer for the RT, lol. Hang in there. The field trip was good and stressful too. My eight kids that I was assigned were pretty well behaved, but some groups were downright embarassing. I mean, they just acted as if they were at an amusement park. I ended up taking my group a little away from the rest. I think they liked that I did that because we got to see more than the rest.

Helene- hope you get all better soon!

Iris- loving the smartboard. It is just a bit time-consuming creating all new materials, you know? It is hard to balance everything, but my head is still above water, lol. I am sending "good day" vibes to you!

Belinda- your workouts amaze me. I've never done BB squats over 40#.

Cookie- I think we are all in the swing of things here at home. The boys are really into school and we finally have a good routine down. The smartboard is taking up a lot of time, trying to create new materials and what not, but I love it!
