Good Morning Ladies

Today is Legs (which I'm dreading! :eek: in a good way). I'm still sore from my workout two days ago! :eek:
Wow, not really much to tell.....
Weather was crap here yesterday!!! It snowed, roads were bad, gym was realllly slow.....lol All my appointments cancelled except my first and last one...lol. Only me and DC most of the day, which was annoying cuz all he kept singing was Let it Snow.....the whole song! Allllll day..... :rolleyes:

Belinda- Have a great workout today! You know, I asked you about the snow yesterday, and I really had no clue we were about to get annihilated here! lol

Helene- I had a hard time getting through functional myself, but made myself do it! And I'm still hurting........ Dang forgot you had a TC last night, I woulda emailed you for entertainment!

Amelia- CSF is Cathy Savage Fitness.....it's just short for that :) How'd shopping go?

Lori- I'm not half as worried about Christmast as I am about January 1st resolutions! LOL

Deb- I need to refer to Helene's answer of your question about the external hard drive...lol So are you on like a set schedule with your job? Or is it more like, the hours are what the hours are to get the job done? And working out at the gym is more time because of a.)driving there, and b.)driving back to take a shower and get ready for work. There's a shower at DC's office, but I'm not "there" yet if you know what I mean....lol. I haven't completely moved in and taken over there like I did otb (yet)...lol.

Melissa- I never did Imax premix, I did a Step Blast premix instead!! What did you end up doing?? Oh. And poor you being booked with liquor tastings!! LOL!

Kristin- Nice workout yesterday!!! Hope your voice gets better soon!

Belinda, it is not fair that we've had snow and you haven't? Where's the justice? Love those wts you are hoisting. I use db so can only go up so far, particularly with the shoulders and chest. This is wk 3 of meso 3, the heaviest one!
Iris, is it Cathy Savage Fitness or something like that? See I do read! So, who's the guy - I know a lot of guys - lol.
Helene, Sat or Sun work, other than when I'm juggling family commitments. We tend to use the weekends to do sightseeing, particularly with the exchange student. OMG, we got so lucky with her - she's more like a daughter. How's your family?
Amelia, thanks for the pm. Are you still enjoying the job or is it work? Have your little ones started a Christmas wish list already?
Deb, I can't believe the holiday decorations all over the place already. Did you go to school for fashion merchandising? At a college info session on Sunday that was mentioned as a major, and I thought of you. I just got an external harddrive to backup my desktop. DD got PhotoShop as a gift and wants to use it on mine. Well, then we had to buy SnowLeopard to update a computer two years old. Now the printer will not work with the new upgrade! Yeesh. Plus there was no internet connection for three days.
Melissa, sounds like a fun weekend. I've been on a bad roll with enjoying good food lately. Don't know about TF. Even tho I have many other dvds, I keep going back to Cathe all the time. Lately, haven't even bought anyone else.
Kristin, how's the voice. My family has prayed for years that I would lose mine. They aren't so lucky.
Lori, lol at you sneaking in while the cat's away. Do you get inspired reading about the fall marathon results? I read (devoured) the special section in yesterday's New York Times this morning.

Have a nasty sinus infection this morning. Put wo off til this evening, hoping it is better.

Belinda: Enjoy your cardio. So just curious, what is one weeks schedule cardio and weights for you right now with this heavy weight training. Are you only doing 3 days of cardio? How long and hard are they?

Iris: I couldn't make myself do the functional training. I was just not having fun. However, I think an insanity workout will be the almost perfect substitute if I add a few ab workouts here and there so I'll do that. I for sure need to keep having fun else I won't stick to it. That's where Cathe is so great. Just love seeing her friendly face on my TV downstairs. Anyway that's my plan as far as the functional training is concerned. LOL I always have a plan. Are you busy today?

Cookie: OK, then let's do a weekend! We can get together and have fun. If you have to take the girls to the mall, we can meet up at that time or we can meet you somewhere else. So glad that you enjoy your exchange student so much. Did she like the early snow? I didn't and it wasn't even too bad.

Well time to go to work again. My TC last night lasted for ever. Seriously, my coworkers are just a chatty bunch. I told them I was going after 2 1/1 hours and they still had some things. But I signed out. Need my time for my wo after all. :p

Today I'm going to do Amy Bento's Kettlebells, it's 3 w/o's 20 min. each let's see what I have time for after work.

I can't believe you upstate girls already had snow:) hmm, I'm guessing it's catch up time since you didn't get much last year;)

Belinda - Have fun with cardio today:)

Iris - I'm giving a schedule for the month with some different due dates. The hours are how long they think each job will take but this time of year I do go overtime and they are understanding as long as I explain in my reports. Too funny about the shower in DC's office:) but I do get it.

Cookie - I begged my Dad to let me go to Fashion Institute but he wouldn't allow it he wanted me to go to College for business (Accounting) after 2 years I left to go to Secretarial School. I was working in an advertising firm as a girl Friday in HS & looked up to all the secretaries & they took me under their wing and I ended up working in Corporate w/the VPs & Presidents of the firm and was very lucky. After staying home with the boys the merchandising job fell in my lap . . . actually my boss was sick & asked me to take over her job & she was promoted so I am very Thankful to her. Are you sorry you asked;) I'm hoping you feel better today:)

Helene - Thanks for the info, External hard drive is the way I'll go:) Wow, that's a long time to be on the phone. Not sure if you have a TM, but could you possibly go on it during the call at say 1.5 or 2.0 speed to get your workout in?

Melissa - Too funny that you did Lowmax blasts too . . . I really enjoyed it:) Your probably going to be swamped with liquor demos.

Kristin - You should try Lowmax blasts they aren't too bad because they are low impact plus you it's only 23 min. and that helps alot.

Lori - What are your plans for today?

Amelia - Do you have set days off? How is your hamstring?

Trish - For whatever reason I always seem to lose posts when I'm on the laptop:confused: not sure why?

Hello all!

I took a rest day yesterday. I wound up sleeping A LOT. TOM is coming plus I have been crazy stressed so my body just crashed. Tonight I will do STS Disc 16 and maybe HIIT Pyramid since I skipped that one last night ;)

I came into the hole this morning to an email from my boss addressed to the entire company. It said that yesterday my teammate was out on a "pre-scheduled" vacation day and I called in sick. Um, what?! I requested to have the day off MONTHS ago, but I guess because my manager allowed 2 of us to have off the same day she needed to cover her arse so I wound up looking like the a-hole!!!! Real nice. Then I get a huge email that she is "concerned" with my work because I've been making a lot of mistakes. Granted, these "mistakes" are how she told me to do things around here so I am "concerned" that she instructed me incorrectly. God I can't take it!!!!!!!! 37 working days / 65 total days to go. Not that I'm counting or anything ;)

Kristin, I haven't ordered the new workouts yet. I need to watch my $$ too, especially now with the holidays coming up. I will probably wait until people start using them and I hear reviews, then I can pick & choose or get them all; I wish I had done it with SC because I could do without some of the workouts.

Helene, thanks that does help! I won't get TF then. It's a lot of money for something I'd only use occasionally.

Iris, can you believe how early it snowed?! I agree with you; I think we are in for a harsh winter. I hope not though. I hate driving in snow!!

Cookie, hope your sinus infection clears up! How are you feeling today?

Deb, yup this is busy season for the liquor job. I will be booked now through New Year's and I'm SO excited!! If I could do this FT I would; it's so much fun! Have fun with kettlebells! That is something I want to try. Is it easy to pick up?

Belinda, great job on CCC!! I think we all have a love/hate relationship w that one ;)

Hey girls, quick fly by post for me...i got off early from work so i took advantage and got in a 30min power walk + MM upper body. I don't have time for personals right now but will try and bbl with them. later gators:cool:
 
Melissa-Thats BS about your email this morning...i would be counting down the days too. Im sure anyone who knows your manager knows she full of it. Good job taking a rest day yesterday and listening to your body.

Hello all. I just finished Muscle Endurance. I haven't done this one in so long. I forgot how much I like it. Maybe I'll have some DOMs tomorrow. Tonight I did the bicep curls with the BB, I usually did it with 8# DB b/c I couldn't keep up. Well, I was able to keep up. I've come a long way since the last time I did this workout (months ago).

My voice is still froggy, but I am feeling better.

Melissa- you are going to make it. 35 days left is nothing, especially with the holidays coming and all that fun stuff. I am leaning towards getting everything but STS total body. i am asking for STS for Christmas and I hope I get it ;).

Deb- 23 minutes? I can do that. Will definitely have to give it a try.

Cookie- lol at the voice joke. My oldest son, Nikolas was very concerned the first day my voice went. he kept telling DH, I have to take care of mommy, she needs water, get her water, lol.

Iris- DC sounds very annoying, lol. Let it snow is a fun song, when you are home and have no place to go, lol.

Amelia- great workout.

Cookie - hope you feel better soon. I am starting to get a sinus infection too.
 
Helene - I did 3 days cardio, 4 days weight training + 2 ab workout a week. With that rotation you only do 2 days off cardio, but I do 3!
 
Debbie - great job, with your kettleblls workout.
 
Kirstin - good for you to listen to your body. Sorry, about the email and work! Hang in there, girl! WTG, on ME. Glad to hear you are starting to feel better.
 
Amelia - good for you getting your workout in right after work. Glad your hammy is doing better today.
