Commit to get FIT & Lean for May 2014!

Good morning,

I will do P90X3 CVX and weights?

Cookie - I almost bought another fitbit the other day:eek: Kinda talked myself out:) How was your long walk?

Debbie - so sorry you had to go through all this. You did the right call. How is Lucy now? Did you get your workout in?

Kirstin - glad your dad his out of the hospital, sorry about the pharmacy. Glad things worked out with your sister/brother too. Not like you needed more drama:confused: What you don't like T25? What are you going to do with it? I think you should give it a whirl for a month, it's really a great program. And you don't have to workout endless hours to get a good workout in. I will not sign up for Cathe's TV. Will you?

Amelia - when are you going to Panama City? I heard it's very nice. Good job yesterday.

I will be back later.

Hi,

Yesterday I did hot yoga. Today I didn't workout we went to my in-laws for a bbq instead of Memorial Day. My SILs & DH decided to switch to today but one of my SILs wasn't too happy so she wasn't talking to them:confused: They all work together so I guess this is normal for them at least I'm not involved so I just listen.

Lucy stayed only one night at vet. She is doing much better but is on bed rest;)

Belinda - Great workouts this weekend for you!

Kristin - I'm happy your Dad is home, so sorry you are going through so much with your family and work. The good thing is your getting closer to summer vacation & I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Amelia - That must have been scary for your dog:( Great workouts & your upcoming vacation sounds fun!

Cookie - I have the fitbit & for yoga it doesn't really count steps so on those days it almost seems like I didn't workout:confused: Any plans for the weekend?

Waves hi to everyone

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

I will do 4DS Bic+Tric today.

Debbie - glad Lucy is doing better:) Good job on your workout yesterday.

I will get my workout in after my coffee, than more painting. Next time we will pay a painter:D

'Morning!
Belinda, I'll bet the yoga twice a week helps your back! I honestly can't believe how much I like yoga after resisting it for years.
Amelia, oh you are going to enjoy vacation! It is well earned. How many days til you leave? My mom always had a plan for our summer vacations - involving book reports and chores.
Kristin, glad your dad is back home. What a hassle. It always ends up w/responsibility being with one (or two in very large families). Honestly, you wouldn't know my mom has more sons than daughters since not one of them ever helps out. I suggest doing only what you feel like doing now.
Deb, glad t hear Lucy is back home. Guess you could put in the yoga as an activity, but I just use actual step counts. Figure as long as get 10K as an average, it is ok to not count steps for yoga. Family drama and work drama are horrible. Yesterday I actually started looking on Monster for a different job!
Went for a walk w/eldest ds and late looked for a new sofa/sectional for den. Too many decisions and too little $.
Today dh wants to do 11-15, and I also need to get some weight work in. Plus, the yard needs work.
Cookie

Hallo ladies,

Workouts are done!

Cookie - have fun with your 11 mile walk + weights today. I need to get some yoga in tonight.

I will be back later this evening. Have a great day, everyone.

Hi everyone. Yesterday I took my dad to his doctor's appointment, got his prescriptions refilled and then we had a bbq with some friends. The boys went in the pool for the first time yesterday too. I am going to go in today. The water is freezing, but I don't care, haha. I did walk Baxter twice for a total of 90 minutes and I did the Abs workout for T25. I really liked the abs workout and might use it regularly. Today I started 4DS. I did HIS with chest and back. I still have DOMS in my chest from ME, but I did it anyway.

I have papers to grade, but I plan on doing it on the patio after I swim.

My brother who has not helped much with my parents, had to finish the mulch for my dad's yard today. Well he complained it was too much for him to do so my dad called my DH to ask him to help my brother. I am so annoyed by this. My brother is 30 years old with no kids. He cannot even do the mulch without bitching about it and now my DH has to step up again? My brother has been MIA all freakin' week. Whatever!

Amelia- be careful with that PF. I've missed her weight workouts too. I really loved doing HIS today. I am hoping to do a full month of 4DS and getting some results along the way :)

Belinda- I want to paint one wall in my living room a different color, but I hate painting. . . and I don't like to pay someone to do it either. Beige it is for the time being, haha. Good job with your workout today.

Deb- I'm glad Lucy is doing better :). Did the vet say to keep her inside for a few weeks? MY vet said he had to stay inside for at least two weeks because he could give it to other dogs. That was hard, especially a puppy that has a lot of energy.

Cookie- how many more years before you can retire? I think about retirement sometimes. Isn't that sad? I don't want to wish my life away. . . things need to change in education.

Okay, my boys are nagging me.

BBL

Hi,

Today I took a hot yoga class. It was packed I guess not everyone is at the beach;) even the instructor was surprised! It was a beautiful day & ate on our deck for the 1st time this year.

Belinda - But you are so good at painting after your done you'll forget for the next time;)

Kristin - That is tough with your brother, but it does seem like boys are maturing later in life now:confused: Lucy does have to stay in and rest but I they didn't say that was why. Does Baxter want to go in the pool when she sees the kids in there? We are thinking of getting a baby pool for the dogs.

Cookie - It does seem like furniture is so expensive and not even made as well:confused: How was your 11 mile walk? You should look for a new job it can't hurt and you'll find out what's out there.

Waves hi to everyone

Goodnight:)

Happy Memorial Day - sounds like an oxymorism now that I typed that. Sorry.
Belinda, didn't you just paint your house last year? It is a pain to do but looks so good once done. What will you do today?
Amelia, I spend a lot of time during the year thinking about going to the beach. Bet that's what you are doing now. How is your little dog doing?
Kristin, it is crazy that your brother hasn't been held to be responsible, but unfortunately that is true in my family also. Your dh is wonderful for helping your dad out. I'm sure he thinks of him as another son. Painting and vacuuming are things I don't mind. Guess it seems like there is a visible difference made. Where with paperwork, it just never goes away. How's your mom?
Deb, seems like hot yoga is very popular. There are quite a few signs, even billboards advertising for it. You are so good to the dogs. We have one of those plastic kiddie pools for the dogs. When we had the pool, invisible fence would stop the goldens from getting in it. Boy,, they love water. We used to live on a lake, and the two we had at the time would spend the day swimming. There were times I was convinced we lost them.
Yesterday went to a cementary with lots of notables (famous and infamous), and it was really interesting. Believe it or not, it really was like visiting a park (can see how it used to be that way in Victorian times), lots of interesting sculptures, historical tidbits, and lovely landscape. Then went to a furniture store to look at more sofas and finally found one. Decided on a leather reclining sofa, instead of a sectional, and got one w/Memorial Day sale. Today it is raining. DS and gf are coming by and I have to do paperwork I've been putting off. May go to parade.
Cookie

Happy Memorial Day,

Cookie - yes, we painted the house last year. We never painted our foyer/hall way. Our foyer is 18 feet tall:roll eyes: We rented a scaffolding for a week. I wouldn't do it again:roll eyes: I would gladly pay someone to do it! Our foyer is to big and we have a lot of molding, which looks pretty but we also painted the molding/door/window frames. We still keeping up with our workouts:eek: I love the color in the foyer.

Debbie - we eat almost every day on our deck:D DH and I getting really good at painting:p We are getting lots of practice. I will not do the foyer/hall way again. We are getting to old. We had the foyer/hall way appraised…they wanted $1800 - $2500. Renting the scaffolding for a week was under $40 plus $60 paint. Big difference! We only painting a few hours a day, we are not in a hurry:D

Kirstin - I hear you on the painting:p We been pushing it off for almost 2 years. Our foyer/hall way hasn't been painted in almost 9 years. We live close to Loudon county. The painters charging you a lot of many :roll eyes: My living room was beige….now it's gray. Once my house is completely done I will post pictures. I know, I said it before…but I want everything to be done. That's tough about your brother. That's so nice your husband is helping your dad!

Today I will do Isometric and more paining. BBL!

Hi everyone. I just finished 4Ds KB. my legs are wobbly, lol.

The boys and I have a lot of fun in the pool yesterday. The water was freezing at first, but we got used to it. It should be warmer today. I plan on going in the pool and doing paperwork on the patio. Burgers for dinner, yummy.

Debbie- we had breakfast and dinner on our patio yesterday. It felt so good to be in the sun. This summer is going to be great! Baxter is curious about the pool. He circles it when we are in it. If the boys are splashing and screaming, he is on high alert. That's a good idea about getting a kiddie pool for the dog. I bet Baxter would love it too.

Cookie- for me the paperwork will be going away June 26, lol. I cannot wait!!!!

Belinda- I have a high ceiling in my entraceway too. When it is time to repaint I will have to hire someone. DH and I would be too scared to stand on anything, lol. You guys are brave!

Happy Memorial Day to everyone!

Kristin

Good evening,

I did Incinerator this morning. We are done with the painting:eek: I love it!

Kirstin - :p I wasn't standing on the scaffolding, I was making sure DH didn't step to far/or off the edge. DH did all the ceilings, moldings and trims. 18 feet is high and at one point at the staircase he was standing on a 12 feet scaffolding with a ladder on top, the worst part…there wasn't anywhere he could hold one :roll eyes: That was scary:( At first DH was a little scared to stand 18 feet on the scaffolding. No way, we will do anything that stupid again:eek: Friday and Saturday DH painted the ceiling (needed to be painted twice:roll eyes:) Saturday he also did all the molding around the ceiling. Painted the front door. Today DH taped off around all the doors/stair well an around all the molding. We have a lot of molding:eek: While he did that, I was behind him painting all the walls downstairs and upstairs. The stairwell we did yesterday. Once he taped everything off, it was a breeze:eek: Glad you had lots of fun at your pool. Wished I could jump in there today.

I am beat, need to relax a little. I will be back tomorrow.

Here are some pic form yesterday and today:D I will post more pic once I am completely done.

Hi,

Happy Memorial Day!!!

DH & I spent a quiet day on the deck. We woke up too early because fire alarm went off in his building & they left a message. We were very lucky they called 2 of his sisters & they took care of it. It happened at 1:30AM but we didn't see the message until 5:30AM. It was so nice of them.

I also have a toothache I need to take care of tomorrow, can't remember the last time I had one:confused:

Belinda - Wow, on the painting you & DH are experts . . . that would be too scary!! It looks so professional. Soon you will be painting murals on the ceiling:eek:

Kristin - The pool sounds like fun, it was probably the best investment. Too cute about Baxter:)

Cookie - Too funny about your Goldens in the lake, they must have been disappointed when you moved. Our Goldens would jump in any water, muddy or not. It sounds like you accomplished a lot this weekend. The sofa sounds comfy.

Amelia - How are you?

Waves hi to everyone

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

P90X3 Dynamix is done! Will do 4DS Chest and Back after I am done posting.
This week I started P90X3 Week 8 and 4DS Week3.

Debbie - sorry about your toothache:( Hope you feel better soon. Thanks on the complement on the painting:D It really does look nice, the color come out nice. I painted all the walls downstairs and upstairs while DH was taping around the door/stairwell. I pretty much painted all the wall:eek: I did leave a space between the ceiling/molding, DH had to fill that in. I am not good paining along the molding, didn't wanted to get gray paint on the white, freshly painted ceiling. Once the ceiling/molding was done. We were smoking. Right after he taped everything off, I was right behind him painting the walls. Taping everything off is very time consuming. Painting the wall was easy and fun:eek:

Waving Hi to the rest of the gang. BBL!

Morning,

Yesterday I did Afterburn , not sure what im doing today. Im taking a break from the Total Gym for now. I may take a rest day since we plan on working in the yard later. I have three days off from work in a row...its so nice.:)

Belinda-I saw your post on FB. Love the color of your hallway and foyer. Great job on the painting. Nice job on your workouts too

Deb-Tooth ache's are one of the worst kinds of pain. Hope you feel better today. I lazed around the house too yesterday, my hubby had to work but we enjoyed a nice supper when he got home. I made Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and green beans with rolls.

Kristin- Nice job with 4ds. I may have to pull out the HIS today and do it. We too had fun in the pool yesterday, I tried to lay in the sun but the darn thing was playing peek-a-boo with the clouds. I would like to have some kind of tan before we go on our trip next week

Cookie-Yay on the new sofa. It sounds nice! Did you go to the parade? I asked the kids if they wanted to go to a memorial day event in town, they had inflatables and junk food but they said 'no'. Lately they have been obsessed with this minecraft PS3 game that DH bought them about a week ago. I limit there time with it and they drive me nuts about playing. I tell them to go outside and play like I did when I was there age ;)

Hello to Kelly, Vicki

ok, off to get some breakfast.
