Morning girls,

I'm up to get the kids up and on the bus + get me a workout in before work. I work 9:30-4 today.

Kristin-((hugs)) Your in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your dad is feeling better so he can help with your mom. I can't imagine how stressful it all must be for you. Take it easy girl, go get you a drink at night...its all good. :)

Ok...ive got to get my workout in if im going to do it. Not sure what im doing. Its raining out so im thinking about a Cathe something or nother...bbl

Girls Im so sorry about this but I need to vent. :mad:

I logged onto facebook earlier and one of my co-workers posted a before and after picture of her weight loss. She's lost about 45lbs since December which is fabulous but she said in her post that she did it 'all by herself'...OMG She's such a liar!!! She's taking a prescription diet pill :mad: I guess I'm the only person she's told and I wouldn't dare tell anybody else ( besides yall LOL :cool:) but why lie about it?

I guess it just makes me mad that she's taking the credit for all the weight loss when in reality she's NEVER eats and piratically runs around the deli like a crazy person cleaning everything - like a crack head! :eek: Yup...I went there.;)

I thought I posted this morning Yesterday we went for a long walk with the dogs.

I did 4DS High Intensity Step/Chest & Back and P90X3 Triometrics (Power) this morning.

Amelia - good job with your workout this morning. Don't let this border you….people gonna say and do what ever makes them feel good. I ignore people like this, not worst my time:p Life is to short:eek:

I took a yoga class today. I am doing Kohl's this week for Father's Day, please let this summer go by slower;) I can't believe Memorial Day is in a week!

Belinda - Great workouts!! We needed the heat too:( but it is beautiful during the day.

Kristin - I've been thinking about you.

Amelia - Kudos on getting up early to workout! I often wonder when people go off the pills what will happen:confused: you rely on them and don't learn the right way to keep the weight off + all the damage you could be doing to your body.

Cookie - Pasta would be so difficult actually most italian dishes. The original boot camp must have been fun! It looks like the horse will now run in the Belmont they are letting him use breathing strips.

Debbie - nicely done on that yoga last night. I hope the weather is nice this weekend:eek: It's really cold in the mornings?

Belinda, don't know how you have the energy for two workouts a day, and those two sound tough. It wasn't a race, just a long walk. DH and I had been training for that 35 mile one we did the beginning of this month, and now believe it or not 11 seemed easy! Just about 2.5 hours b/c of lots of hills.
Amelia, omg what is it w/people who lose weight?!! One I know claims she lost 120 herself, when her sisters and daughters have been talking about her weight-loss surgery. Another person says she just "dieted" when it was pills and some shake. Then again another I know who had the surgery can't stop talking about how little she can eat and how she can never have soda again - ever - in her whole life. Of course, they never want to go for a walk.

Deb, isn't it hard to believe Memorial Day is this weekend? It's been beautiful during the day, just a little on the cool side, but cold in the mornings. 34 this morning. I've been wearing sandals for two weeks straight! Am having to wear a sweater tho. Any gift suggestions for Father's Day?
Did UY this morning. Had to go to a disfunctional team mtg first thing this morning and was hoping yoga would help me prepare. The yoga felt great but the group could turn even a very zen yogi in to a ranting lunatic.

Today I did Slow & Heavy chest & back. I haven't done that DVD in so long it was a blast from the past:)

Belinda - Did you decide on Cathe live? I think I'm going to try it, just want to check if it will work in my room.

Cookie - I need to polish my toe nails before I put on sandals but will have to do that before the weekend;) Men are so hard to buy for but if I think of something will let you know.

Amelia, geesh, lately I feel like I'm in the middle of some version of Mean Girls at work. Why do people love the drama and not want to just get along? It all takes too much energy.
Deb, how are the dogs doing? I stopped on the way home to look for a gift for my uncle, only I ended up buying myself two pairs of shoes! Nothing for Tio.
Did firm vol. 3 this morning. Stopped at library and borrowed another 30 Rock - silly comedy really appeals to me right now.

Today I did Slow & Heavy bi's & tri's (a short version) because I wanted to watch the finale of American Idol more for the groups performing.

I'm so tired today keep thinking tomorrow is Friday:(

Belinda - P90x yoga is a good one!

Cookie - DS's girlfriends grandparents were helping with the dog but the grandfather is in the hospital so I am trying to help out the next couple of weeks until their schedule is easier. It's so funny because the stores gear the sales for the woman too because they know we will look & hope we buy for ourselves too!

Went to DC yesterday, I was beat after we came home.

Today I will do 4DS KB/ Legs & Core and P90X3 MMX.

Cookie - your miles are impressive! You must be getting all your steps in everyday, hah? I try to keep my workouts shorter over the summer.

Debbie - looks like you having fun with S&H. I haven't used them in a while either. I haven't signed up for Cathe Live. I am thinking signing up for Suzanne Bowen's barre workouts? Not sure! I have so many workout dvd's, need to go through them first.

P90X3 MMX and 4DS legs/core is done.

Debbie - I make sure I get at least 2 yoga workouts in a week:) It's helping my back and core. I been having back problems for years, what helped me is I don't go down as low with lunges as Cathe. You still get a good workout in. I have to use a chair for Mountain Climbers, otherwise I throw my back out. Modify, modify:p Glad you liked the step workout this morning.

Hi,

I had every intention of working out tonight but it didn't happen.

DH was going out to dinner with my BIL. My son was calling me asking me when I was coming home because Lucy was throwing up. His gf was working so when I walked through the door he looked worried. I looked at Lucy and she wasn't breathing right and just laying there. So we decided to take her to the vet. After waiting almost an hour the vet saw her & thought she had aspiration pneumonia. After x-rays he was right, we couldn't reach his gf her phone died so it was a tough decision to leave her but ds said she would understand. She was very upset but understands. It just worries me that we had to make that decision. We walked through the door at 10PM:(

Now I need to find my bed:)

Belinda - That is a great idea to modify mountain climbers, I will be trying that! I'm not sure if you hit a lot of traffic to DC but the last 2 days I've seen so many accidents & been in too much traffic:(

Belinda, during the week most of my steps come from walking related to work. I'm looking forward to a long walk this weekend and hoping the weather cooperates. Eldest ds text to ask me if he can walk with me. Hope he's gotten faster; aggravating to me that he slows me down. Did you get another Fitbit? I find that I like seeing if I got my 10K but often think the thing doesn't count everything.
Amelia, when do your darlings finish their school year. How are you feeling?
Kristin, thinking of you. Hope you are able to squeeze in a few short walks w/Baxter for a break.
Where is every one else? Vicky? Kelly? Melissa?
Deb, that must have been so hard. Sorry.

Morning girls,

Yesterday was a rest day, Wednesday I did the Total Gym ( and hit it hard I must say :cool:) then we all went for a 35 minute hike.

Today I plan on doing something after work. A cardio of some sort...

So we booked our room yesterday in Panama City, im so excited! :D I haven't been there in over 15 years and this will be my kids first site of that beautiful florida coastline.

Cookie-Great job on your rebounder. Today is my kids last day of school and im so relieved. No more early morning madness for awhile. Im feeling much better thanks :) How's everything with you?

Debbie-So sorry about your day yesterday. :( My little chihuahua got in the middle of a barking fit with the big dogs and got trampled :mad: the poor little guy yelped anytime anyone picked him up ( he thinks he's a bull dog or something :rolleyes:) . We later discovered a cut on his rib cage area. He finally started feeling better yesterday or we we're going to take him to the vet.

Belinda- What workouts instore for today?

Finished P90X3 Incinerator and 4DS shoulder and calves a while ago.

I will be back later to catch up on personals. We are painting the foyer today.
 
Hi guys.

My dad was released from the hospital Tuesday evening. I had to get him and take him home, then get his prescriptions. The pharmacy was a real pain. The hospital faxed the order over, but put the wrong date of birth and some of the meds were heavy stuff, so the pharmacist gave me a hard time. Then one of the meds the insurance wouldn't cover because they didn't understand why the doctor prescribed them, so the pharmacist wasn't going to give it to me. I asked her how much the meds were. . . $9.99. I looked at her annoyed and said "My dad is in a lot of pain, I can pay $9.99 for him." I was there for two hours. So no workout for Tuesday. Wednesday was my teacher class, so no workout then. Thursday I did T25 the third disc. I am not liking this T25, I think I am going to quit it. I don't feel I am getting enough of a workout from it. Today I walked Baxter for 45 minutes then I did ME. I have not done that workout in ages. Because I am not loving T25, I think I will focus on 4 DS the next few weeks and then do a cardio and then a TB workout for my 5th and 6th day. I got great results from 4DS a few years ago.

Anyway. .. I am off today and I really could use this 4 day weekend. Things at work are getting crazy.

Amelia- I love being able to look forward to a family vacation. When are you going?

Cookie- I was losing my mind this week, but I got through it. My brother and sister are useless in a crisis. Thank God this was a short term crisis, that's all I have to say.

Deb- I think you made the right call with the dog. When Baxter had that last fall it was scary the way he was breathing. I hope she recovers quickly.

Anyone buy the cathe tv yet? I'm curious as to how people are liking it.

4DS LIS premix done. I hesitated on using my step because of my PF ( its been acting up lately, not too bad) but I did anyway. I will just have to deal with my foot later

Kristen- You inspired my workout today :) Great job on your workout, I'm glad your dad is doing better and I'm so sorry to hear about your experience at the pharmacy, how frustrating :(. How is your mom doing?

Hello to everybody!! I've got to get out of these sweaty clothes and get something to eat, im starving :confused:

I'm thinking about getting up early in the morning before work to get my weight workout in. Tomorrow is going to be a madhouse at work ( its always a madhouse during holidays) so I may not feel like working out after.
 
Power hour done this morning. I've missed Cathe's weight dvds :)
