Good morning,

Today I will start BH's week 3 rotation, with Body Rev.

Debbie - no problem on the check in. Glad you had a lovely weekend. Aleisa sent my flowers and a card. She is so sweet! Another thing about wo dvds, they All have the same exercises over and over again, lol! It's the same old thing over and over again, lol. Did you order the new workouts? I can't remember:eek:

I will be back after my workout, have a good one!

'Morning! The darn internet connection last night was so slow I gave up. Was watching the circle spin for almost 15 mins!
Belinda, what a wonderful daughter! But then again, look at her mom! How's dh doing today? I preordered, but I'm really hoping it is easy to modify to low impact. How do I find Bob's rotation?
Kristin, how's the roof? We got a new one two years ago, and it cost more than a very nice car! Looks great tho. Another day of meeting re APPR. Fun, fun, fun. It is incredible how much time this is consuming.
Deb, glad to hear you also had a good weekend, and the guys are appreciative of you. Totally agree: mags all same the same exact thing. I need to remind myself of that when I'm in the checkout line.
Yesterday was a rest day. Took my mom to a local tulip festival, to visit one of my sisters and out to dinner. Wasn't as hectic as it sounds since she can't walk much. It was more find a bench and watch folks and flowers at the festival! Hey, she was happy.
Today was hsc. I'm gonna be such a hard *** at this meeting, ha ha.

Hello everyone. Another week is starting, lol. So I did S&G today. I got my workout in early, before dinner! I went to bed early last night and still felt tired this morning, what gives! Anyway, the countdown until the end of classes has begun. Today we have 18 days left of classes before finals and regents begin. I am counting down!!

Deb- glad you had a happy mother's day. My little guys woke me up super early to give me their cards. . . it was cute, but come to think of it, that might be the reason I was so tired last night, lol.

Cookie- Because our house is so small, the roof was not overly expensive. It looks 100x better. I cannot hear another word about APPR, SLOs and evaluations, lol. I give up! If this really is a conspiracy to end public education, and some think. . . I will stay until the end and then figure it out from there. . . I am kidding, but not really!

Belinda- good job on your workouts. I never do anything other than Cathe. I should expand my horizons a little, huh?

Okay, I will bbl,
Kristin

Good evening,

Workout is done! Got a good sweat!

Aww...Cookie! Thanks for your kind words. You are a pretty awesome mom too;)Glad you had fun with your mom and sis yesterday. How old is your mom? Good job on HSC.

Kirstin - WOOH HOO, on the count down!! Aww...so cute of your son:p You should expand your horizons a little. Change is good. I will do a JM rotation next. Have you seen the thread on MFP? People getting awsome results with here workouts;) you can see the before and after pic:)

Debbie - must be in the gym?

I will be back in the morning. Good night.

Hi,

I didn't want to commit to STS completely so today I decided I will just do Meso 2 for a month. I'm also trying to eat clean after cheating on Mother's Day on Rocky Road bars I made.

Belinda - I didn't look at the JM rotation but it does sound interesting. Is it the girls from our thread doing it?

Kristin - Wow, that is just crazy 18 days left:eek: Hmm, wondering if your doing a countdown for retirement;) It's 25 years for teachers in NJ, maybe it's like that all over.

Cookie - Your right whatever makes them happy, my Mom tends to be hyper look forward to the quiet times to come, LOL.

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

I will do BH's Bure Burn.

Debbie - you have fun doing M2 for a month. Great plan;) sounds like you had fun on Mothers Day:) I did good on Sunday. I also cleaned up my eating. Started Weight Watchers again (on my own:)) and I log all my food in myfitnesspal.com. They recommend doing JM 30 Day Shred, for 10 days each level (level 1 for 10 days, than do L2 for 10 days, L3 10 Days) I think, I will do that one next? the workouts are only 25 min each day and I can add a run in 3 times a week. :)

Waving Hallo to Cookie and Kirstin!

I will be back later. Have a wonderful day and workout.

Workout is done! This week is gonna be tough! Bob is gonna do Body Rev and Bure Burn twice:confused: I will be working out 6 days this week instead of 4:confused: I was sweating buckets.

Off to cook dinner. I will try to be back later.

Good evening. I just finished AT. I think this is my all time favorite of the LIS. It is such a sweat-fest, plus it has everything, cardio, weights, abs, everything. I always feel so accomplished when I finish.

DS's baseball game was cancelled, thank God! It was a rainy, miserable day. The school budget votes are today. My district was .3% above the cap. They had cut so many things before the tax cap, that now there is nothing left to cut. I hope it passes. My son's school district is 2% above the cap, but with no cuts. We shall see what happens. Most districts were able to stay within the 2% cap, but they have a lot of money in reserves. . . I don't know. I wish that the governor would get rid of a lot of the unfunded mandates, including the testing/evaluations. According to my administrators we are looking at giving 30 tests next year to meet the requirements of APPR (teacher evaluations based on test results), and those tests have to be BOUGHT. I jus tthink there has to be a better way. . . getting off the soapbox now,:eek:

Belinda- Nice workout. JM 3o DS? I will have to check into it. Not sure how I would like her. I wonder if the library has some of her dvds. I would like to preview to se if I could get into it. Like I said before, I never did anything other than Cathe. . . well. . . in the early 2000s I did the FIRM. I could never go back to them now. I am also trying to clean up my eating. . . it is the weekends that get me.

Deb- Meso 2 is my favorite, as you know. It sounds like a good plan to me!

Cookie- hope all is going well. Are you sticking with the rotation? I have to say, I am really enjoying it. I am looking forward to MMA KB tomorrow. It will be a "lighter" cardio day for me.

Okay, I am tired and sweaty!

Good night all,
Kristin

Hi,

I took a spin class at the gym today (last bike). I'm glad the rain will be gone tomorrow. I bought some herbs to plant since the squirrels & chipmunks ate all my tomatoes last year even though I put netting & they were green:confused:

Belinda - The JM rotation sounds really good will have to consider that for next month. I also have to check out the Bob w/o's. Great job!

Kristin - You would have had a lot of laundry to do if DS had a game today;) I guess I never thought about tests costing money but I agree it should be spent on better things other than testing.

Cookie - Hi, I would think on a day like today your internet is giving you trouble.

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Belinda, so are you going to finish BH and start JM's? I have to look for his rotation. Right after I order his with your recommendation, you're switching? His should be coming later this week. Even tho I get others, it is always Cathe's I end up preferring. JM just doesn't appeal to me that much. My eating is bad in the evenings.
Kristin, I couldn't believe the long line to vote last night - never saw it like that before. My home and work districts both passed - TG! I'm loving the rotation and agree w/you about AT.
Deb, you're right - my internet was horrible. The Rocky Road bars sound good. I'll have to look for a recipe. Yesterday was dh's birthday and we had an awesome chocolate cake. It was really, really good and I was bad. I'm fighting a battle against this squirrel that keeps knocking over bird feeders, and he even gets into the ones with the baffles on them. They may look cute but they're nothing but demented rodents!
AT done.
Have a good day!
Cookie

Good afternoon,

I already did my workout this morning, I ended up doing Body Rev again (2nd time this week). Took a walk with DH and the dogs.

Cookie - I hope you like Bob's workout. I sweat my a$$ off with those workouts:p they are tough! All you need is a heavy to light DB, that's it!! I will post the rotation later after I clean my bedroom. I am in week 3 this week:D I have one more week to go on this "Inside Out Method" rotaiton. Once I am done, I will switch to JM;) I have to agree on JM, she doesn't appeal to me either.....but her workouts are awesome and she gets the job done! Happy birthday to your DH! That cake sounds yummy!

Debbie - good job with your spinning. I log my food in www.myfitnesspal.com . you can see before & after pic of people that have done JM rotation. She is tough and gets the job done. Her workouts are no joke!

Kirstin - I can't believe the willing to spent money on tests, should be sent on better things other than testing:rolleyes: that's crazy!

Need to clean my bedroom. I will try to be back later. Happy Hump Day, everyone!

Hi,

I had today off & decided to go to a historic castle they redid in town. It is an organization called "Mansions in May" that bring in interior decorators, they donate their work by getting a room or garden to redo each & the money for admission is donated to a charity they pick. It was amazing!! I was talking to one of the garden decorators & he said that unless someone buys what they put into it they must take everything down:confused: He was hoping someone would purchase the property (it is currently owned by the bank) & make it into a place for weddings and/or haunted castle.

As far as exercise my legs were killing me after all that walking so I did Yogamax.

Belinda - Thank you for all the info:) will check it out. Great job with your w/o's & dogwalk.

Cookie - Yum, the chocolate cake sounds good & a good reason to cheat;) The squirrel's around here are starting to look fat. Years ago DH built a vegetable garden but we eventually took it down because the animals were getting more vegetables than us no matter what we did.

Kristin - Wondering if you had baseball tonight, it was beautiful but I'm sure muddy. Does your younger DS want to play?

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Belinda, thanks for all the Bob info, I'm going to look at it and print everything out. Really appreciate it. Do you chat with Helene, Trish, and Amelia over there? I miss them and think of them often. What about Lori is she over there also? I find it hard to manage two check ins.
Kristin, hope you weren't getting soaked last night. We had a sudden downpour, and I looked like a drowned rat in only two minutes.
Deb, I love those kind of tours. Did you get ideas for your own castle? The past couple of years we've only done a few tomatoes plants and some herbs because of the animals getting to them. Used to plant marigolds around the vegs to ward off deer and something else for the moles and rabbits, but it was a losing battle. Would like to try patio tomatoes but dh says no. We had a racoon coming up on porch to get cat food, and he's afraid of attracting a party of them.
Well, no wo for me today. Got caught in that downpour and fell rushing to my car. Landed on my knees and lower legs but must have jarred my sciatica and it is really screaming at me. May end up taking day off to visit dr. But I'll be reading about Bob's rotations and Cathe's new wo to inspire/frustrate me.

Good morning,

You are very welcome girls! I don't talk that much on MFP like the other girls, only when I have extra time.Which is not that often:confused: Helene and Trish are very active over there, lol! I don't see Amelia very much. Like I said in the past, I like chatting with your guys:p . I don't know, how they all find the time to chat so much? Maybe they are very fast typing, lol?? Lori, is still around, she checks in another check in:eek:. I mostly use MFP to log my food, to keep me in check. Sorry, to hear you landed on your knees. Hope it's nothing serious. Why would Cathe/Bob wo insipre/frustrate you? This is the first time, I am not interrested in Cathe's workouts, wierd!

Debbie - I would love to go on one of those tours. You get lots of new ideas for your own house/yard.
I also have herbs, tomatoes, berries and a lemon tree planted.

Kirstin - what are your plans today? Are you lossing weight with MFP? How many cal are you eating a day? I can't see your food log. I am still playing around with my # I am using the Biggest Loser Transformation Book "30-Day Jump Start", which is the 4-3-2-1 Biggest Loser Pyramid . Carbohydrates= 45%, Protein= 30%, Fats =25%.

Today I will get my butt kicked again with Bob's Bure Burn:eek:

I will be back later. Have a wonderful day and workout.

'Evening! Took the day off and didn't really do anything! Well, unless you count playing Swipe Four! It is so addictive. Am typing this standing up - it is the getting up and down that is horrible. Did a few shoulder and arm exercises with weights but that was it.
Hope you all had great days and workouts.
Cookie

Hi all. MMA Kickbox done. . . I was supposed to do it last night, but I was too tired. I made yesterday my rest day.

I have been thinking a lot lately about something. When I was in high school and in college I loved to write. I stopped writing once I became a teacher and a mom. Life just "got in the way." It has always bothered me that I gave it up, but it is bothering me more and more lately. I was really very good. I even won awards in high school and college for my stories. Anyway, I started doing some research and Stony Brook has a MFA program for creative writing, as well as an advanced certicate program. I am thinking about maybe going back to school part-time and getting back into writing again. The fact that they have an advanced certificate program is really enticing. I do not have to commit to a full degree, and I can still take the many of the same classes (the MFA is 36 credits, the certifcate is 16). I don't know. I go back and forth on it. It would be more time away from the boys, although if I do the certificate program it would really be one night a week, which is not so bad. It would be adding to my workload. On top of grading papers and keeping up with plans and everything else, I would be adding more deadlines and responsibilities. Then again, if I don't go for it, I may really regret it. I think it would be a good example for my boys too, that it is never to late to go for something you want. . . education does not have to end when you reach a certain age. . . you always can learn more and do more. Anyway, I have a lot to think about.

Cookie- good for you for taking the day off. Sometimes we just need to do that for our own sanity! Did your sciatica settle down? the rain was so depressing. I was happy to see the sun out all day today.

Belinda- I have lost a few pounds. I was 145 when I started using it after the holidays. I am down to 138, although I have not logged that weight in yet to MFP. I keep "forgetting" to make my food journal open to friends. I get kind of embarrassed with my cheating, lol.:eek:

Deb- My younger DS is not all that interested yet, but he does have a good arm with throwing and he is a lefty, so my husband really wants him to play next year. That should be interesting having the two of them play. The will be in different age divisions, which would mean baseball 4 nights a week!:eek:

Okay, I am tired. BB tomorrow. TGIF!!
Kristin

Hi,

A busy day, spent the morning & afternoon at the service station it may be the transmission:( which would be lots of $$. They finally gave me a loaner car so I could get to work, while they figure it out but couldn't get a w/o because I didn't got home so late.

Belinda - It's great that you know what everyone is up to & let us know:) I have a lemon bush, I had a bunch of lemon buds but only have 2 left, the rest fell off. I don't have a green thumb, I do manage to have flowers in the summer though LOL.

Cookie - I'm so sorry that you fell, your lucky that you didn't break anything but so sorry about your back & knees:( It's good that you are taking it easy.

Kristin - I think you should go for it. It would be a great example for the boys, if it's too much you know at least you tried. I remember baseball days with 2 boys & was happy I only had 2.

Goodnight:)

Hi all. I got an early workout in today. My rotation called for Yoga Max, but I wanted some cardio, so I did CSS Step Express premix plus AC W/P abs. Now I am off to DS's baseball game. I had a slice of pizza for lunch and a garlic knot. I guarantee we will be getting take out after the game . At least I did some cardio today ;)

Deb- Thanks for the encouragement. I think I am going to take one class and see how I like it. DH and I are still talking about the details (money and what not).

I will bb later or tomorrow :)

Kristin
