Commit to get Fit & Lean for March 2014

Happy hump day!! Started today off with Muscle Max - an oldie, but one I'm quite fond of. It really feels good to be starting the day off with a workout, I feel much better mood-wise, it helps me eat better, and just feel good all around.
We've been having some issues with Aiden's bedtime recently.. it's become such a battle to get him to sleep. Part of it is the typical 2 year old "I don't wanna" syndrome, but I think part of it is separation anxiety, he's legitmately scared of being alone or something, so he wants us there at bedtime. Ok, I have no issue whatsoever sitting with him, except for when we do it turns into playtime and he doesn't go to sleep. Oy. They're only this little once though, right?
So I'm definitely splurging on the DVD's, but I don't buy them very often, so that's my justification LOL I'm looking at the Low Impact Series, To The Max, Crossfire, and a couple misc older ones I don't have - Butts and Guts, and SJP/Step Blast - I seriously love Step Blast LOL I really want to get the newest ones too, but we'll have to see on that..

Vbrady - welcome! I'm pretty new to this group too, but they are a great bunch of ladies :)

Kristin, hope your sinuses give you some relief soon, that's no fun at all.

Deb - good job on the run! I've been using Couch to 10K, and really like it.

Melissa - that app sounds awesome, I'll have to check it out for sure. LOL I'm the same way with my workouts too, I love to change it up. Hubby thinks I'm outta control with how many I have, but he humors me lol

Hi to Cookie, Amelia and Belinda! :)

Hey girls,

This morning I couldn't make up my mind on a cardio so I did one of my favorite Cathe step workouts. Stepblast, except no step lol. I didn't have any knee pain or foot pain so yay. I did all the combos, just love that one - the music is fun!!

Tomorrow will be a total gym workout.

Melissa-I will check out that allrecipe app. I need all the help I can get. ;)

Kelly-You can't go wrong with a cathe dvd. Hope your little guy goes to bed with ease tonight.

Kristin-Great job on your workout. My sinuses started acting up so I used my Netipot ( sinus rinse) and there a lot better. Glad your feeling better. About the bakery, no - im pretty much done with the bakery. I wouldn't take the position if they offered it.

Vbrady-Welcome to our group :)

Cookie-WTG on the yoga workout. I decided to put the scale up and just weigh once a month for now. I take measurements around the 26th so im keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Belinda-Nice workout! Great job

Debbie-which CC did you do? Great job!! I have CC3&4 on my phone and when I walk with my music I have it on 'shuffle' so segments of CC pop up

Did I miss anybody? I will bb tomorrow. Im off again...yay. Gotta work the entire weekend though.

Hey guys. I just finished Step Moves and some ab work. Feeling a little better. My nose is still stuffed, but when I blow it, my ears pop, which is a good sign, right? I was looking forward to a conference I was going to next week for staff development and it was cancelled :(. That is a bummer. Not much else to report. Oh, the landscaper called and is postponing our yard for a week. He said because of the weather he got backed up. I guess it could wait another week. I cannot wait to see what the backyard looks like when he gets done with it.

Amelia- I love SB. I was thinking of doing it today but decided on SM instead. I was in the mood for something a little easier, lol. I always think SM is easy until I get into the crux of it, after combo one. Haha.

Belinda- no doctor. I was taking mucinex and then Nyquil at night. Now I am not taking anything. It is getting better every day. Now DH has a sore throat :/. The sore throat is what started it for me.

Kelly- I have all those dvds and they are great. I say definitely get the LIS, they are great metabolic workouts, plus they have some great premixes too. The music is not as good as TTM and CF and the newer dvds. Butts and Guts is a must have. It is a tough, but so effective. It'll give you DOMS for days.

Deb- I hate when I have to get up earlier than my usual time for work. It throws me off all day. Hope you had a good day!

Cookie- I think we posted at the same time last night. I don't think travelling affects her all that much. She just seems to not be able to focus on conversation anymore. She will interrupt you as you speak to tell you a story she just told you. It is sad. I cannot wait for the year to end myself. I am done!

Off to get some work done and then bedtime.

Kristin

Cookie-

Hi Ladies,
Did STS Strength Shoulders, Bi's, Tri's Disc 33 after work today (thank goodness I get off work at 3:30 :)). I do upper body on Wednesdays (or Thursdays, depending upon my week).

Cookie & Melissa: CrossFit really is a lot of fun, but I could only go twice per week. Plus, the snatches were making my right shoulder feel wonky, and I just can't afford an injury at my age---it takes too long to recover. I learned this the hard way at an obstacle course race. I thought it was going to be fun, like the previous mud runs that I'd done. But when I got to this one (The Metro Dash), it was a bunch of CrossFitters! This was almost 3 years ago before most people had heard of CrossFit, and I certainly had never tried it. Well, I'd paid my entry fee, so by gosh, I was going to do it anyway. Mistake! About 1/3 of the way through, I came to monkey bars that were over 8 feet high. I had been nursing a sore shoulder from doing too many darned pushups (or maybe it was pullups) from a P90X workout, so I had planned to just go a few rungs and then drop and do my penalty burpees. Well, the bars were much larger than regular bars, and my hands are small. Plus the bars rotated! I only made it a couple of rungs and slipped, falling to the asphalt below. I tore my ACL and meniscus and fractured my tibia. The paramedics had to carry me off the field. Good grief!

Anyway, fast forward to now (after surgery, rehab, and injections of Euflexxa, which did not help), and I'm no longer a runner. I lost too much cartilage in my right knee. I hated running anyway, so the silver lining is that for the past year or so, I've concentrated on strength training to build up the muscles around my knee. Oh yeah, I forgot that I also tore my ALL. That ligament has atrophied because they didn't know about that ligament until last year, and I'm not even sure if they've figured out a way to repair it anyway. The ALL stabilizes the knee, and since I don't have that ligament anymore, having very well developed muscles around the knee helps to stabilize it. I don't do too many high-impact workouts because I'm trying to save what little cartilage I have left. Am hoping that in the next several years, they will have developed a safe way to grow cartilage. I'll be the first in line!

Tomorrow is my rest day :D

Hi,

Today I did STS M1D4 chest, shoulders & bi's. It is raining so hard & can't believe the thunder storms:confused: Spring tomorrow:) hopefully the weather will match.

Belinda - So I finally received my notice but my credit card was only charged $22 so I guess I'm only getting a couple of DVDs from my order (will let you know). Wow, you are up to STS D40:eek: excellent!!

Kristin - Ugh, on not being able to get rid of your cold. I'm sure this weather isn't helping:( Step moves an oldie but a goodie:)

Amelia - Everyone is doing step today:) step gets your heart rate up! It looks like the total gym is working for you too!

Melissa - Welcome back, it's funny my son was hitting the books even during Spring Break last week:confused: I guess there is a lot of catching up to do! Can't wait to see how you like P90x3.

Cookie - This is one year that the stores don't match the Spring, the good thing is Easter is late this year so hopefully it will be warm. I'm mixing STS with P90x3 (Belinda's idea) & throwing in yoga too. It's funny I was reading about how some offices have standing meetings so your not sitting so much.

Kelly - It looks like you picked out some good dvds!

vbrady - Welcome to our group:)

Goodnight:)

Good morning! Today I'm planning on doing STS D2 and some abs. I got booked for 2 events this weekend (yay!!) so I have to go down to pick up my kits, then tonight I am hanging out w a friend from class. Pretty sure whiskey will be involved, which is very much needed this week ;)

New guy and I got into an argument last night; we both have busy schedules so we see each other maybe 1x a week. My schedule seems a little more flexible than his though. Most of the time, I'm able to rearrange stuff when he asks to hang out but I feel like on the other hand, when I ask him to do something, he can't. So last night all I did was say I was wondering if he doesn't have time for this and to let me know cuz I would rather know now; well apparently that was the wrong thing to say cuz he got upset and was like "we both have busy schedules, it's not just me." I wanted to say "well most of it IS you because you're the one who claims you don't have time to see me 85% of the time," but I didn't feel like getting deeper into an argument. The frustrating thing is, he was doing something during this conversation so we got interrupted and then never spoke about it again. It just got totally avoided. I was so annoyed. This is why I didn't want to start dating again. UGH

Kelly, MM is a good one! Aww, poor Aiden :( Hopefully you were able to get him to sleep relatively on time. Those are some good DVD choices! I love the LIS and B&G. And I have Step Blast planned for later in the week ;)

Amelia, LOL we are all on the same page with Step Blast. That is such a fun one!

Kristin, sorry to hear about your conference getting cancelled. That stinks. But good news on the popping ears, woohoo!!

Vbrady, oh no @the monkey bar story!! My shoulder/leg hurts just reading about it! Shoulder injuries are no fun and take forever to heal; I always wonder how those Crossfitters keep up with all that ballistic movement going through their joints  That would be awesome if they discovered how to grow cartilage! My mom will need that, her knees are a mess. Enjoy your rest day.

Deb, I'm sooooo excited for spring, though I'll believe it when I see it ;)

Waving hi to Cookie & Belinda. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning,

I had a great time in DC yesterday. It's always fun hanging out with my kids.

Today I need to double up on my workouts. Today I will do P90X3 Eccentric Upper and Triometrics.

Cookie - where are you? What did you do yesterday?

Melissa - 2 leg workout in a week, you go girl. I need to check out that app;) Sound awesome. So you started STS? Have fun with your friends tonight.

Debbie - yeah, on your notice! Hope you get your dvd's soon. It was raining here all day too. I had it! Glad you like mixing STS with P90X3:eek:

Vbrady - sorry about your shoulder injury. I used to be a runner too. I have a heal spur/PF since last year. It's not getting any better. Eventually I need surgery on my heal spur:mad:

Kirstin - sorry your staff development got cancelled. Glad you starting to feel better again.

Amelia - nice job on SB! I need to try that one without a step. Good job!

Kelly - all those dvd's are awesome. Have fun!

Need to get busy. I will be back after my workouts. Have a great day, everyone.

Hey girls, checking in with a 40 min hike + 25 min UB TG workout. I had a hard time lifting my arms in the shower to wash my hair, thats when you know you had a good workout ;)

laters

Good evening,

I also took a nice, long walk with the dogs today. Did my abs and P90X3 Eccentric Upper. That's all. DH come home late from work, so no doubles today:( Oh, well!

Amelia - you are on the roll these day's:D You go, girl!

I will be back in the morning. Good night.

Hi everyone. Today's workout was Hard Strikes. Those sit up/push combos kill my core like nothing else. I also walked Baxter and I didn't even have to wear a coat :) just a sweatshirt. So glad the first day of spring has finally arrived!

I had a conference with my younger DS's teacher. He is improving with his reading and math, but he is still behind. I am thinking about enrolling him in a summer enrichment program of some kind. I think he needs it and I don't want him to make gains only to lose them over the summer.

Anyway. . .

Vbrady- It seems like you went through a lot to recover from that Crossfit injury. Knee damage is never fun. . . so it looks like you are almost done with STS. Have you thought about what you will do afterwards?

Melissa- sorry to hear about the new guy and the annoying conversation. That stinks. Maybe the time will be right to bring it up again, or just let it be and see what happens. On a lighter note. . . when are you done with school this semester? Are you taking summer classes?

Belinda- I'm glad you had a good time in DC. Between your dog walking and P90X3, I think you made that rest day up without "doubling up." ;)

Deb- spring is finally here! I saw that the Chicago RT is coming up, got me thinking about the NJ trip. Do you know anyone going? One year I will go again.

Cookie- the test is just around the corner. I wrote a letter of refusal for my DS. He is in 3rd grade. He told his friend and his friend said that that means he won't get into a good college. My DS said this back, "My mom says the test is bogus and that the Gobener (his word) Cuomo can stick it where the moon don't shine," lol. Well, I did say that, lol. I never told him not to repeat it, haha.

Amelia- nice workouts. Shower DOMS is a good sign ;).

Tomorrow DH and I are going out to dinner. Not sure if I will be able to check in.

Kristin

'Evening!
Belinda, sorry for not checking in yesterday. I didn't get home til about this time, and then to eat, and dh thought I actually wanted to hear about his day, so I was tired and didn't post. This morning woke up at 2:30 and should have just posted then! Glad you had a good time in DC. Bet the dogs were happy you came home and gave them a long walk. How often are you doing double workouts?
Amelia, only we would be happy to have sore arms from working out. Crazy, but I'm sure you're proud as you should be. Do your kids want to hike with you sometimes? Mine would start out with great intention but then I felt like it wasn't a workout for me, more like an exercise in patience! Did the bakery girl leave?
Kristen, why was the staff development cancelled? lol at your ds! I like step moves. Sort of forgot about it - should pull it out. Did the landscaper draw you out a plan of what he's going to do? I am jealous. One of our friends hired a landscape architect to develop a 3-year plan for their land (about 15 acres). Then each year, they had done what was in the plan. It is absolutely gorgeous, like something you would see in a magazine.
Kelly, sleep and little ones just don't mix, do they? We lived in Taiwan for a time when we only had two of the boys. The youngest one developed night terrors while we were there! OMG, it was so hard b/c we were the only English-speaking folks in the building, and I swear the others were always wondering what we were doing. TG he outgrew it, but it took a few years. There was a good book my niece mentioned by Dr Farber about kids and sleeping.
Melissa, you and bf both are quite busy. When you do get together, is it easier to get along?
vbrady, I was cringing when reading about your running injury. That must have been so painful. I always wanted to try CrossFit, but as Deb would tell you, I like working out in my basement too much. I used to run but now do Cathe and a lot of walking.
Deb, what is your ds studying? For the first day of spring, we woke up to ice. I was noticing lots of boots, scarfs and heavy clothing. I can't wait to be able to wear sandals and not 15 layers. How are you liking P90x3?
Well, my new sneakers came today but no Collage package. Hopefully tomorrow. Did JS Flat Abs walk on her Tone Up Your Trouble Zones. It sounds as if abs are my only trouble zone - not! But I do prefer standing and laying done to do crunches. Got my roots colored and took two laps around the parking lot so I could get 10000 in before coming home.
Cookie

Hi,

I took a yoga class today. I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday. I've been running around so much & getting up early too much:) On Saturday we have the neighborhood wine tasting party so that should be fun.

Belinda - Earlier on the news I saw that the Cherry Blossoms are out in DC. Did you get to see them? Now that is a sign of spring.

Kristin - I can't remember is Baxter a year old yet? Do you have the week before or after Easter off? I don't know anyone who is going to the RT:(

Melissa - Could this just be a busy season for new guy's job:confused: Any interesting things you will be testing this weekend?

Cookie - Not sure if DS knows what he wants to do so it is just a general degree which he will get in May. He is also confused about which new school he will attend next year one day it is in NJ today he said he wants to go out of state:confused: It is great that you are so motivated with your steps:)

Waves hi to Amelia, Kelly & vbrady

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

Today I will do STS D36, my last workout in STS:eek: I also will do P90X3 Triometrics.

Cookie - I was worried about you, since you didn't check in:) You wake up early too, hah? Same here:eek: Not sure, what this is all about these day's? Hope you get some sleep tonight. I have to double up 3 times a week, since I am doing STS and P90X3 together. I am looking forward to a recovery week. You are doing fantastic with your steps. LOL, walking around in the parking lot to get your steps in. Something I would do:p

Debbie - neighborhood wine tasting party sounds like fun! We saw the Cherry Blossoms in DC two years ago. Last year, the weather wasn't great, I think they where out only a few day's:eek: I am going to DC this weekend, maybe I stop by? Good job on your yoga class last night.

Kirstin - it was so windy yesterday, I wore a heavy jacket:eek: Now, we getting snow again on Sunday, WTH? I think, Spring is skipping us this year:confused:
I think it's a great idea enrolling your son in a summer enrichment program. They do forget a lot during summer break.

Waving Hi to the rest of the gang.

Need to get moving. I will be back later.

Good morning girls!! Today I'm planning on 4DS Bootcamp/Kickbox cardio premix, studying, working a tasting event tonight, and then seeing the boy. Girls' night last night was SO much fun and was exactly what I needed. We went to play pool and luckily enough it was ladies' night so we got to play for free and drinks were only $2. I told my friend we should make that a habit every Thursday night. I feel a lot better about everything that's going on. We have been getting close this past year which is awesome because she has such a calming aura about her and has a good head on her shoulders, not to mention she is unbelievably positive (but not in an annoying way lol). Another plus: I lost a pound this week, woohoo!!! :D

I decided to get rid of my account on MFP. I was getting too overwhelmed logging in everything and checking in and all that jazz; it was making me nuts! One less social network to worry about, which is fine with me lol. I'm just gonna log everything on the WM (besides food).

Belinda, glad to hear you had a great time in DC! Yeah, I'm doing the 3 month STS rotation; one of these days I will try the undulating one. Still kicking myself for not buying the tower when it was available and I had a real job  I can't believe you're done w STS already!

Amelia, awesome job on the DOMS!!

Kristin, yesterday's weather was awesome wasn't it?! I have a love/hate relationship with the sit up/pushup combos in HS haha. I'm sorry to hear about your DS struggling but glad he is improving. The summer program sounds like a good idea. Yeah, I'm gonna talk to the guy tonight just in general to see where he is at. I mean, the not seeing each other often thing is a pain but he does try in terms of calling (a lot) and texting so maybe because I don't initiate as much, he's pulling away from ME cuz I'm the one who doesn't seem interested? I dunno but a convo needs to happen. This semester ends the 2nd week in May and then we have a week off, then summer session begins  At least we only have class M-W. LMAO @what your son said about the test!! And I really doubt colleges look at that BS! Too funny.

Cookie, I didn't know you lived in Taiwan. That's pretty cool! Yeah, when we are together we get along great. As corny as it sounds, I think we just need to sit down and make a schedule of when we can see each other. I like standing abs too. Nice job on getting all your steps in yesterday! Hopefully your CV package will arrive today.

Deb, oooh a wine tasting party, that sounds like so much fun! Is it like a block party but with wine? I'm intrigued by this lol. I'm doing 2 kinds of wine this weekend; today is a CA one and tomorrow is a new one called The Seducer Red Rendezvous which sounds interesting. It's a red blend. The bottle is really cool but I haven't done this one before so I don't know what it tastes like yet

Waving hello to Kelly & vbrady! Enjoy your Friday ladies!!

Happy Friday!

I looooove Fridays! My day off! Plus I get to hang out with some moms from my 6th grader's school at Starbucks in Target. Only moms would hang out at a Starbucks in Target! I'm turning 50 on Tuesday, so went shopping for some shoes (bought 5 pairs!) and bought a necklace and jewelry scarf, which is pretty much what you'd think---a scarf with jewelry attached to it, beads & such. Really cool, and I'm not a scarf person (too hot-natured). Also bought some bright pillows for a bench in our foyer and a six-pack of Mich Ultra Lime Cactus :) I don't care for beer, but this stuff doesn't taste much like beer, and it only has 95 cal and 4.5 g carbs per bottle. Hey, I've got to balance out the chocolate cake I had for breakfast & lunch! Seriously.

Today I am doing STS Hypertrophy Legs Disc 14. I love the hypertrophy & strength workouts, not so much the endurance. I mean, just the word "endurance" has negative connotations ;) I guess I have a rather unconventional rotation. I have 19 lower body (no high-impact or plyo moves) workouts, and 7 high-impact/plyo workouts. Because of my knee, I rotate through the 19 lower body (2 per week) then throw in 1 of the plyo workouts at the end of the rotation. My workouts are primarily Cathe, with some P90X, Supreme 90 Day, and a Jillian Michaels workout. I've gone through the STS (legs) series 5 times now (but don't be impressed. I'm not counting the 4 "strength" dvd's. I consider those as plyo, so I just add one of those to the end of my 19 lower body workouts). I have way more upper body workouts (40!), and I've gone through the STS (upper body) series 3 times. Those monkey bars may have formerly been my nemesis, but baby I can do some pullups now! :D

meliffy18, sounds like you had an awesome night last night. I love GNO's!

bayerngirl, what are you going to do now that you have completed STS?

DebD, I know what you mean about getting up too early! Daylight savings time is KILLING me!! I feel fine during the day, but man, when that alarm goes off, I am sleeping hard. It takes me much longer than usual to fully wake up. And all the antihistamine I'm on for my darned spring allergies probably isn't helping.

Cookie, I prefer to work out at home, too. CrossFit was fun, but frankly, it's too time consuming. I can get a workout in at home around my schedule. And I'm the queen of intervals. And by "intervals" I mean that I do a few sets of a workout, then stop and go do something else for a while, could be Facebook, or email, or laundry, etc, then I go back to my workout and do a few more sets, and so on. Some days, it ends up taking me most of the day just to do a one hour workout! It's pretty funny, but it works for me, and not to brag, ok may I'm bragging ;), but I'm in the best shape of my life doing my kooky way of working out. Hey, it works for me, but I know most people like to just get the workout out of the way in the morning. My way though keeps me active most of the day. Talk about putting a spin on "intervals"!

Kristen, enjoy your dinner out tonight :) Not sure what I'm going to do yet. We have a grocery/wine/beer store near our home called 201 Central (it's big, like a regular grocery store). It also has a bar with $2 bottles of beer (lots and lots of kinds, including hard cider, my fav) and wine, too. You can also buy wine & beer from the grocery part of the store, and they'll chill it for you to drink at the bar. You can even buy food from the grocery and eat it at the bar. If you buy a frozen pizza, they will even cook it for you. I am not making this up! Only in the suburbs could a grocery store turn into the neighborhood hangout on a Friday or Saturday night!

Hello to everyone else! Hope you have a beautiful weekend. The weather is awesome here. Sunny and around 70 degrees today and tomorrow

Well, that was a reeeaaally long interval! Back to tri-set group #2 :p --Vicki

Good afternoon,

I just finished the 3.5 month STS rotation. Yeah:eek: I made it through with flying colors:p Walked 3 miles with the dogs this morning too. Getting ready to do P90X3:)

vbrady, have fun with D14 today. M3 is my favorite:) I will take a week a active recovery week next week, I still have one more week left with P90X3. Than I will do the GS's for a month. Below I posted the rotation.

Kirstin - here is the rotation I am doing:
http://cathe.com/forum/f95/rotation-body-building-287493/

Waving Hi to everyone that checks in after me.

'Evening!
Belinda, Just thinking of the cherry blossoms makes me wish for spring all the more. Hopefully. you're weather will be fantastic. Say hi to your dd for us. Now I understand why you do doubles some day. Sure took me long enough! Hope you are feeling so fantastic about yourself - you should - for finishing sts. And no illness/injury to derail you.
Kristin, I was wondering about Baxter's age also. Saw a nice looking Boxer today and thought of yours. Is the summer enrichment program convenient for you?
Melissa, you made me thirsty just reading the post. Of course, I had to read Deb's also, and now I think I'm going to have to imbide. I'll toast to you and the boy! Funny, I get stressed doing all the logging also. Now, I log my workouts in an Excel file on my laptop, and that's it.
Amelia, how are those doms today? How are you feeling? Bought Girl Scout cookies and made sure to get some I don't like!
Vicki, I love your intervals! Bet they do put you in great shape since you're revving up your metabolism multiple times during the day. Unfortunately, I have to do my wo first thing or there's no time. Target is a suck hole for me. I run in for one thing - only one - and then there's an hour gone and $$$ from my wallet! No other store is as bad for me.
Deb, wish I lived on your block! It sounds like a lot of fun. How is it organized? I've spoken about UY to a few folks and now they all have gotten it. Saw one of the women today, and she sidled up to me and said "Day 17" with a big grin on her face. Took me a sec to figure out what she was talking about. She loves Travis.
Updated my phone about two weeks ago, and then couldn't get all my texts and send some. Turns out it was a bug in the update. Got it fixed and looked at a new laptop. However, since I also just four new tires, only looked.
Got in a lot of steps walking around the mall. Sort of resting up for 24 miles on Sunday.
Cookie

Hi,

I took today as a rest day. A lot of running around to do & bought my younger DS some clothes for his birthday in April. I can't believe it's the end of March next week (happy dance).

Belinda - You have been so good getting your workouts in:) Tomorrow should be a beautiful day in DC.

Kristin - It could give your ds confidence when he starts in September too.

Amelia - Is the weather getting warmer by you?

Melissa - Thursday nights sound like fun with your friends & great prices. The wine tasting is interesting they actually talk about each wine & you get a glass of it. I can't remember how many but will let you know;)

Cookie - If I taste any good wines I will let you know:) It is organized by the homeowners group. Usually about 50 people show up. Their are about 144 families in the neighborhood but not all join the homeowners group.

Vbrady - It sounds like you had the perfect day off shopping & coffee:) Where do you live? It's going to be in the 60's tomorrow in NJ.

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

I will do P90X3 Yoga X before I go to DC;) Hopefully I will get a nice walk in as well.

Cookie - thanks for reminding me about the cherry blossoms in DC:D I will go today. I will say Hi to Aleisa;) I know, my rotations are a little confusing:p I still can't believe I made it trough STS without any injury/illness:)

Debbie - I am not sure what's up with spring:eek: We suppose to get snow starting tomorrow and all next week:eek: Clothes shopping is always fun with my son, he goes in and out the store and he is done. Girls take much longer to shop.

Waving Hi to everyone that checks in after me. I will be back later today. Have a wonderful weekend and workout, everyone.

Morning,

Yesterday was another hike at the park. I was so tired after work but I pushed myself through it. Today will be a rest day.

So I decided to take up acrylic painting. I found some tutorials on Youtube and cant wait to start. I plan on buying some supplies this week sometime. :)

Belinda-Congrats on completing your STS rotation, great job!

Deb- I know, March just seemed to fly by. Enjoy your warmer weather. Lately we are having sneak peeks of Spring, the last few days have been in the mid 70's but today its suppose to go back down to the mid 40's. Spring is near :)

Cookie- Glad you got the bug out of the phone and great job on your steps! My weight loss has stalled, no loss for two weeks now. Its got to be the strength training I added in three weeks ago. I measure this upcoming Wednesday and im hoping for a loss.

Vbrady-Sounds like you had a blast on Friday, nice finds on your shopping too. I will have to try those drinks. Im not much for beer either, I prefer wine...just not the calories.

Melissa-I wish I could get rid of my account on MFP, im just so frustrated with it all. Yay on your girls night out!! Glad you had fun.

Kristin- How are you feeling? Bummer about your yard being pushed another week. Im sure it will be awesome when its done!!

Kelly-How are things going?

well, guess I got to go to work, blah. Just not in the mood to deal with anybody today.
