Commit to get fit & lean for June!

Good Morning:)

Had a good sleep last night. Went to bed before 12 and the baby didn't wake until 5:30 or so and then I woke on my own at 8:30 :). I have a baby shower today and I was laying in bed thinking about what I needed to make for it. So while everyone was still in bed I ran to Walmart. It's nice there in the early mornings cause no one else is there.

I will probably go for another run this morning. It's DH's last day home , could be a interesting day. His mother asked if he wanted them to go to the airport and he said no. My sil told me last night that she still plans on going and I said "well what did she ask for"? So stupid in my eyes. I think I will have my parents watch the boys instead of 15 of us going to the airport and making a scene

Deb** I'm glad I got a good sleep too! I was feeling kind of stressed out yesterday and wasn't having a good afternoon :(. I came around after though. I'm sure it will hit me again today at some point.

Bbl!
Lori:)

Good morning everyone,

My back is still bordering me, ended up just taking a nice long walk yesterday.

Will try to get a light workout in today.

Lori - can't believe your DH is leaving already today. It's gonna be a tough day ((HUGS)). Will be thinking about you.

Debbie, Kirstin and Cookie..you all rocking your workouts. Good job!

I will be back to report what I did.

Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Happy Sunday all. Yesterday was DS's birthday. We had his party at a place that has indoor jungle gyms and bouncers, plus a five story climbing thing-a-ma-jiggy, lol. The kids had a blast. Then we came back home with Jessica and her family and had a bbq, talked about our plans for Florida. It was a lot of fun. I managed to get my workout in the morning. I did HSC. Today I plan on doing SJP or SB. My back/lats are feeling abit sore today, so not sure which one I will do.

Tomorrow begins final exams week. The students come in just to take the final each day and then they leave. I have to do my grading and then enter all the grades, last minute paperwork and all that. Then it is cleaning out the classroom, a few meetings and see you in September!!!!!

Deb- nice job on the workouts. I love the leg triset workouts in Meso 2. I forgot about that movie. I wanted to see it when it came out, but never got around to it.

Lori- Hope you enjoy your last day with DH. Don't let anyone aggravate you, including silly MIL's. It is not worth it. BTW- the yoga workouts are really good, but I am not a yoga expert by far. I've only taken two classes my whole life, one being on the Cathe road trip.
I do feel relaxed every time I finish them though. It does the trick, lol.

Cookie- My DH snores often too. As a matter of fact, on some nights if I do not fall asleep before him, I end up having a very hard time going to sleep. So it is funny tha tI have an equally difficult time falling asleep when he is not around and not making all kinds of noise, lol. Men.. . you can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. lol. How was DD's graduation?

Belinda- take it easy with that back. Is it getting any better?

Kristin

I decided on Step Blast. I have some upper body DOMS from yesterday. I will do SJP tomorrow.

Now to enjoy the pool. ..

Kristin

'Evening!
Belinda, sorry your back is still bothering you, but it is good you're taking it easy. How was the walk? I went for one this evening, and it was still pretty warm.
Kristin, wow, you are almost done with school! Not much longer til Florida. Happy belated birthday to your son.
Lori, hope it went well with your dh today. It must have been hard.
Deb, sounds like you're having stress. Hope every thing is okay. Turns out I'm really enjoying yoga! Plus it definitely is helping my sciatica.
DD's graduation was lovely, and we went out to a Thai restaurant after to celebrate. Last evening went to a sports bar to watch the nba and nhl. Yesterday I got dressed and was getting every one moving and out. In the house I just wear flip flops or in winter, slippers. Well, got 2/3 of the way to the ceremony when I realized I was wearing a brownish dress with bright blue sparkly flip flops! We didn't have time to go home, as we swung into Walmart and picked up a pair of sandals and just made it to the ceremony in time.

Good afternoon,

quick check in for me: I started Cathe's June 2012 rotation today. I did 4DS High Intensity Step plus Chest/Back. I went a little lighter on the back. So far, my back is feeling fine:)

Will be back with personals later. Gotta run. BBL!

Hi all. So happy my Disney tickets arrived today!!!!:eek::eek: In a little over a week I will be on my vacation. The boys are so excited too.

Today we gave the English final. I was able to do my fourth quarter averages and get the Scantrons done. Tomorrow I am proctoring the social studies final and then I will have to grade the essay part of the exams. That normally takes 1 and 1/2 days to get through. I also have another retirement party to go to, but I do not plan on drinking, lol.

Today's workout was SJP. I am always pouring sweat during the hi/lo weight segments. It feels so good.

Belinda- nice job on 4DS HIS. I love the step routine on that one, and it goes so fast. Glad your back is feeling better.

Cookie- too funny about the flip flops. I am sure we all have similar stories. The DH's only have to get themselves ready, and sometimes even they need our help. We are responsible for everyone before ourselves, lol. Oh to be a man. . .

Lori- how are you today?

Deb- did you go to Kohl's today? I went back today to use my Kohl's cash. I got a Yankee tank top for myself, Yankee shorts for DS #1, and a Yankee tee shirt for DS #2. DH wanted to know what I got him. . . I told him he'd have to wait for Father's Day. The best part, the Kohl's cash covered everything. I didn't have to cough up a single cent. Now that's the way to shop

BB tomorrow.
Kristin

'Evening!
Belinda, glad your back is doing better. Take it easy though.
Kristin, you could do an advertisement for Kohl's! Good shopping.
Lori, how did it go yesterday?
Deb, how's every thing with you? Did P57 this morning and thought of you. I do like the second one.
Did a barre wo this morning and a 3 mile walk this evening. Actually might try a Bob cardio tomorrow! Hopefully next week will be able to try a Cathe. Even her low-impact wo are tough.

Hi,

I'm back & I survived the last couple of days:) Yesterday ended up being a rest day. I was doing fine until I tried to get my new camera card into the computer & couldn't retrieve my work. I ended up wasting hours looking for the wire to connect my camera to the computer & realized I had it all along was just trying to put it in the wrong place:eek:

Another stressfull day but hopefully things will fall into place. I did S&G tonight. Sometimes I look at my w/o's & think so many w/o's so little time;)

Belinda - The June rotation looks good . . . but take it easy!

Lori - I hope the last day with DH went well, must be hard to get a new routine down. Are you able to talk/write to DH? You are so organized so that should help when DH is away.

Kristin - I finished my last Kohl's today. Your purchase was amazing it was free:eek: I wonder how they make money, when I made my purchase I had a $10 off coupon + they let me use a 20% off coupon too:confused: DS's party sounded like fun & your disney tickets arrived:cool:

Cookie - Loved the flipflop story:) Sounds like your getting your w/o's in. I'm glad you like P57, need to fit it in. Yoga really helps me with the stress will need to keep doing it . . . how did you know;)

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

Today is a scheduled rest day, I will do tomorrow's workout today. Tomorrow we are taking DH to his doctor to Boltimore. I will do 4DS BC today.

Cookie - I promise I will take it easy on my back. Nice job on barre and your walk. Glad you feeling better too.

Debbie - I will take it easy. I hate when I spent lots of time on the computer. Happends to all of us!

Kirstin - yeah, on the Disney tickets. I am excited for you guys. You got some great deal in Kohl's.

Lori - how are you doing? Thinking about you.

I will be back later.

Good Morning,

Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of days...had a few things on the go:( I'm doing o.k considering. I was very annoyed on Sunday night b/c this house was like a open house. The last few hours we had left to spend together people were stopping by and not knowing when to leave:mad: Then one of his friends called at 10:30 and wanted to come over...and I'm sure he wasn't coming alone. At this point DH wasn't even packed! DS didn't settle until 11:30!!! Probably b/c of all the commotion and when he went to sleep the baby woke up:mad::mad:.

Yesterday wasn't to bad. It came and went in waves. There was one point after lunch where I thought I can't do this....My crying made my mother get stressed out and now she wants me to move in with her and rent the house...LOL. As if 6 months wasn't going to be long enough as it was! I will just move to a isolated area with nothing to do!

I figured last night was going to be rough but I was really tired when I went to bed and I chatted with DH for a while. I feel pretty good so far today but this isn't the lonely time of day yet and we are also talking about me visiting him on Canada Day which is the 1st of July so that's probably why I feel better.

I went for a run yesterday and felt really sick! The only reason I can think of is that my appetite wasn't the best and stress doesn't do anyone any favors.

I will check back in later and catch up on personals. My parents are here until lunch time and then DS has speech this afternoon.

Lori:)

'Evening!
My internet is taking forever to load, so I hope this posts!
Belinda, hope it was a great report from the doc about your dh. I enjoy going to Baltimore; love the Inner Harbor area.
Kristin, it seems that this year is winding down even fast than before. Benchmark testing is bumping up against state testing of many subjects. Think it is test, test, test, done. Of course, then there's all the scoring and recording of data. Fun stuff. Are the boys getting excited for Florida?
Lori, it must be hard. Bet you wanted to bar the door that night. Sorry your last evening together wasn't more private and relaxing. How's ds doing with speech?
Deb, whatever happened to the car? Did you do yoga today? That and walking always help to relax me.
Did an urban rebounding wo on my minitrampoline, then P57 express, and Bob's 10 min core. Undid all the just mentioned with cookies. Well maybe not all, but most of my wo was negated. Wish I was one of those people who can't eat when they're stressed.
Cookie

Hi,

I didn't get much of a w/o in but after Father's Day work will slow down (happy dance). Ugh, on the rain! Still no word about my car but will make some follow up calls tomorrow, at least I have a free loaner car for now.

Belinda - I hope DH had good news at the Dr.'s & you had fun in Baltimore.

Lori - It must be really hard. I'm sure the 1st week will be the hardest. As much as I love my Mom, moving in with her would be tough:) Hmm, hopefully the sickness is not another little one:eek: . . . just wanted to make you laugh:)

Cookie - I think with those workouts the cookies are long gone. Great job with the w/o's. I'm hoping to go to yoga tomorrow but have to wait & see if I have an appointment.

Kristin - Are you busy packing;)

Goodnight:)

Hey everyone. No workout to report from yesterday. I went to a retirement party after work. It was a lot of fun, but I only had one and a half glasses of wine, lol, so I was enjoying the party without being the entertainment of the party, lol. Anyway, I had AB on tap, but by the time I got home, spent time with the kids and put them down I was beat. I will be doing AB today. I got all my grading done. Now I just have to enter it into my computer and then clean up my classroom. Today I am going to organize my class library.

Deb- I haven't begun packing. We will probably get it done this weekend :). We are all so excited around here. Our Disney tickets arrived on Monday. They are safe and secure! Good thing you have a free loaner car! Does your company reimburse you for mileage and car expenses?

Cookie- too funny about the cookies. I had a nice piece of chocolate with chocolate mousse (my weakness) at the party. ;) Testing. I hate the words test, testing, standardized, evaluation, and benchmark. LOL.

Belinda- Are you loving the 4 DS this week. They are such fun. How did it go at the doctor's office?

Lori- ((((HUGS)))). . . July 1st will be here before you know it. Moving in with my parents would be a nightmare. I would rather live in my car. I love my parents, don't get me wrong, but there would be no boundaries if I ever moved back in.

Okay, I will bbl.

Kristin

Good Morning:)

How is everyone doing? I feel "o.k" today. I didn't cry yesterday so that was a good thing. I'm not sure what the weekend will bring though. Geez....

I was kept busy yesterday. DS had speech and after that I had to take DD to get a new bank card and run by our insurance company. By the time I got home my running partner was here and she stayed till 5...then over to my SIL's for dinner. After that I spent a HOUR on the trampoline with the kids. Now they are going to expect that all the time. I did get to facetime DH yesterday twice but today his course actually starts so I'm thinking our time may be limited. Hopefully after today though we will know when I can come and visit. I think by the time his homesickness sets in, I will be fine.

Belinda** How is your back? You would think with all the working out we do that we would be pain free;)

Kristin** Thought forsure you were gonna have another good retirement party story for us!:D Oh how I wish I was planning a trip to FL with my fam....someday soon:) DD is doing exams now. She goes to school for a couple of hours and comes right back home again.

Deb** I will get to talk to DH every evening. There is a 3.5 hr time difference though, so in order to talk to the kids he will need to call as soon as school is out for him in the day time. Ive spent loads of time wasting my workout time looking for stuff!

Cookie** I love your flip flop story! Thats to funny! Glad DD enjoyed her graduation!

So I ordered myself some sympathy lulu on Mon...before he even left:rolleyes: I have a black pullover coming, a black tank top and shorts:D They have some new tanks online that I was looking at and DD caught me. She said "I thought we had to be smart with our money"? LOL....I told her I was allowed to look. Sadly enough we are probably better off now then we ever were. We have been really smart with our money. Plus we have that insurance refund and DH just filed his tax return.

Today's workout won't be a run outside. Im thinking of a circuit with the bike, My knee is kind of wonky!

BBL!
Lori:)

Hi,

I ditched my workout tonight but I'm off for 4 days only some computer work & housework. We decided to go out for a bite to eat & it was nice to get out after all the stress at home. I'm going to try & make-up some workouts the next few days:)

Belinda - I hope everything went well with DH.

Kristin - LOL you are planning your vacation to FL & DH tonight was planning how soon we can move to FL . . . as long as his parents are alive we can't move but we can dream:) Too funny about the retirement party, no one will have anything to talk about tomorrow;)

Lori - It's great that you can facetime with DH, imagine a few years ago it was unheard of. You are keeping yourself really busy! I too have been shopping too much (need to start returning:)) but it's cheaper than therapy. It will probably be a lot of fun & a nice break when you get to visit DH.

Cookie - Have thing settled down after graduation?

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Sorry the satellite cut me off just as I was ready to post last night, and this morning my dh was snoring like he was Paul Bunyan cutting down forests, so here I am.
Belinda, how did things go at the doctor's. Were you able to do anything else while you were in Baltimore? Please ask your dd how the vineyard is coming along.
Lori, you sure do keep yourself busy. Honestly, I don't know how you get everything done. Do you think your mother could be slightly worried that you will become closer to your inlaws?
Kristin, honestly,I wonder who will go into teaching. This week I have to help administer benchmark exams, and as soon as the children are clicking done, their teachers are checking to see how they did. Today is my last day doing it, and I can't wait. Not only is it hard for me to get anything else of my many responsibilities done, but it is so stressful.
Deb, why does it seem that things do not get easier as they get older? Like your dh, I dream of moving, but even to just a studio! Hope you can relax while working from home. I'm trying to do more yoga and walking, which do seem to help with stress and my sciatica.
Did a balletone workout yesterday morning and I sure must have some small muscles that I was never introduced to before yesterday! My arms were sore from just holding them out to the side for so long and my quads the same. Seemed so low key it was deceptive. Wanted to get in a walk but got home way too late.
Going to do something in a few minutes. Need a cup of coffee to get going.
Cookie

Hi everyone. Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I did AB, but I got a bit dizzy during a few of the segments, especially the last one. I had forgotten to bring my water bottle to work, and I normally drink about 40-50 oz at work alone. Well, I only had half a bottle when I got home and decided to do my workout early, before dinner because DH got home and it was more convenient to do it them. I think that was a mistake. I was starving halfway through it and dripping with sweat. I think I was completely depleted and dehydrated. I drank a lot of water afterwards and then had dinner and played with the kids a bit.

I will be sure to make sure I get my water in today!

One week from today I will be on a plane :). It has rained all week, which is making this trip all the sweeter to look forward to.

Cookie- my colleagues in the social studies department are complaining about writing SLOs. I think I would prefer SLOs and to be evaluated on growth in social studies, especially when they have not had American history for a year. Of course they are going to show growth there. I do not trust the state test for the ELA. It fluctuates in difficulty every year, not to mention they change it every few years.:mad:

Deb- some people made comments to me at the party about doing shots. I pointed to my wine glass and said, no no I am fine. Plus, I was driving.

Lori- the students here are also coming in to take a final and then go home. I like having the time after they leave to go over lesson plans and plan new things. Plus clean out my room for the summer. It is a nice way to "purge" and then think about the new year with the new students. This was the first year I really did not enjoy a majority of my students, so I am looking forward to new ones and starting over in September.

Okay, I will be back later. I am hoping to see some sunshine today.

Kristin

Good morning,

My DH's dr. appointment went well. They took an x-ray of his hip, everything looking great. DH is cleared to drive, exercise and whatever he wants to do, except do some crazy yoga moves or running, lol. The hopital where the doc had his office wasn't gonna take an x-ray (we had to go to another place to get it done) My husband said he wasn't gonna leave until he gets an x-ray of his hip. well, he did! Now DH is excited to get into his PT again.

My workout today is: 45 min run.

Cookie - the vineyard is coming along fine. The grapes are crowing, so are all my fruit trees.

Kirstin - that happend to me a few month ago, now I make sure I drink enough water. Glad you ok! Nice workout yesterday.

Debbie - good for you. Hope you enjoyed your dinner.

Lori - LOL, about ordering some sympathy lulu. Whatever makes you feel good, right? LOL! I totally agree, with you on the pain free. What's up with all those pains we are getting?

Off to get busy, I will be back later.
