Ok! What's up with no one checking in today?? You can't all be that busy!:p

My interview went pretty good, I guess. I don't know anything about the automotive industry but when people put adds in the paper saying "will train" then your gonna get the stragglers like me:eek:. Try are interviewing more people next week so I won't hear anything until wed maybe. None of these jobs really appeal to me, I want to spend my day in sweats!

Today's workout was chest,shoulders and back. Also did the 100 rep shoulder challenge. Then I did cardio legs...which skipped and 15 mins on the TM. I'm going to try cardio legs in another DVD player later to see if the same thing happens before I contact customer service

I won't let Lori talk to herself:p I feel better still a cough lingering but I worked out! Yoga today starting Cathe tomorrow:)

I was off today but catching up on getting my car serviced (long overdue). Ugh, need brakes. Also they pointed out that my license is expired & my inspection is long overdue:eek: working out is more important;) All week we have been helping DS move to a place closer to public transportation. DH came today because we needed strength to move a real heavy TV, I just opened the doors;)

Belinda - I hope the shot helps your foot & happy to hear your going to rest it. Yoga is tough on the feet:(

Lori - I can see you received the new DVDs it looks like you may have tried all of them:eek: The good news is you are finding jobs & getting interviews and you just arrived in the area. Are you going to take the PT job at the gym too?

Kristin - It sounds like you had a tough week, but hopefully you have Monday off. Kudos on getting in all your workouts.

Amelia - Do they give you meal plans in the starter kit?

Morning girls,

Yesterdays workout was a 30min power walk + 25mins of yoga relax. Not sure what todays workout will be?

I woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn't go back to bed, ugh:( It may be because my monthly is here. Or the fact that my stomach was growling...:rolleyes:

Lori-Nice workouts. I will keep my fingers crossed that the perfect job will come along for you.

Kristin-Good job pushing through HS. I may do that one after work today - I might need to hard strike something by the end of the day;) Wow on all the test...I don't remember having to take that many test growing up?

Deb-Glad your feeling better and nice job with your workout. Ugh, reading your post reminds me that we need to get our car serviced. Its looooong over due. How is your DS doing now? Oh, and about the wwer meal plan question - The starter kit did come with a pretty big recipe book that I've been meaning to flip through. Just haven't had a chance too yet. I need to because its only been a week and im so bored with what I'm eating already:confused:

Belinda-Hope the cortisone shot helps, I thought about getting one of those myself but if there painful then I may wait away:eek::eek: I agree with power walking and low impacts until the foot gets better. I almost did some step aerobics yesterday but decided on yet another power walk. I miss step aerobics:(

ok..off to pack my lunch for work. Ugh...can't wait until I'm off tuesday.:) Im pretty excited about my WWer meeting Monday! I'm hoping for a loss...been doing really good this week:D

I never got a workout in yesterday, we went to DC helping DD hIang up all her pic and so on. DH and I went to dinner afterwards in DC, by the time we came home it was to late to workout. We got stuck in DC traffic...arrrr..

Lori - you will find the perfect job. I will keep my fingers crossed. So how you like the new workouts? DD's apt is so nice, she is all set.

Amelia - I hope the corisone shot will do the trick. We hsall see! I am in so much pain anyway, I didn't care how painful that shot was, lol! That shot hurt, but nothing compared to what I went through for over 4 month. My PF/heel spur is so bad, I couldn't walk no matter what I did on my right heel. I take a shot anytime, if you know what I mean. I think I will do some power walking and keep everything low impacts until my foot feels better. Hope yours gets better soon.

Debbie - so glad you are feeling better. Nothing worst than beeing sick. Thanks you. I always thought yoga would be good for PF, I guess I was wrong.

Kirstin - I will take it easy..I promise! You can kick my butt I I don't, lol. This foot probleme is going on way to long. I will fogus more on UB and floor work for the next few week. Cathe's Xtrain rotation isn't going anywhere, right? LOL!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Yesterday was my rest day, and a good thing to because TOTM arrived, which explains why I was dragging the last few days, lol. DH took both DSs to a kiddie birthday party, which means I have the house to myself :eek:. I did All Out premix 1 plus the 100 rep challenge, scarecrows. Love how that burns in my shoulders. Tonight DH and I are going out to eat and then to a movie, alone! We haven't had a date night with just the two of us in a long, long time. :eek: My brother and his fiancee are watching the boys. The only catch is we have to drop them off at her house . . . but it is free babysitting, so I don't care all that much, lol. It just would have been more convenient if they came here because then the boys would be sleeping by the time we got home. They'll fall asleep in the car I'm sure.

Belinda- I had no idea yoga could aggravate it either. That is crazy to me. You think yoga would relax it, even. The upper body Xtrain workouts can get you through it. They are fast and fun, and hard too!

Amelia- I was just saying that to my friend. . . how we never took so many tests and we all turned out fine. I think all the testing makes it that much worse for these kids to stay motivated. It is criminal, I swear! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your weigh in at WWers this Monday.

Deb- you are a ticket waiting to happen . .. a bitter cop's dream, lol. Get that license and registration taken care of. . . they suspend your license over that on LI. It is a pain in the neck and costly!

Lori- how'd you make out with Cardio Legs on the other dvd player? That one is one of my favorites in the series.

phatgyrl- feeling any better?

Hi,

I did High Reps today, going to start the rotation again either tomorrow or Monday. I have been trying to catch up on sleep & the laundry is to the ceiling LOL.

Belinda - You will still get great workouts in & your upper body will be buff:)

Lori - Did you get tired of talking to your self;)

Kristin - OMG they suspend your license, now you have me nervous. This is the 1st time they changed it so that you can renew by mail & I'm late because I put it aside:rolleyes: but brought it to the post office this morning. Have fun on your date night, which movie did you decide on? I want to see so many since it is Oscar time.

Amelia -I was thinking that Monday is a tough day to weigh in but actually it will probably keep you on your toes on the weekend:) I now realize that DS has problems around the holidays but when he is on track he does really well & it is encouraging.

Cookie - How is your weekend, I heard it's going to get really cold the middle of next week, eek!

'Morning! Sorry for not checking in the past few days but life has been beyond hectic for me. Also in doing a presentation the other day, I must have stepped down hard on the floor right where a piece of molding was connecting the carpeted area with tile. OMG, my foot has been bad since Tuesday.
Belinda, glad Alexia is settled. There's an aerial yoga place in Baltimore! Perhaps when you're better you both can try it out and let me know. Please? I wanted to do it last summer when I was down that way but couldn't get a spot in the class at the time I was free. A cortizone shot does hurt. Has it relieved your pain yet?
Amelia, betting you're going to be a happy girl tomorrow at WW. You're really in the groove now. Are you drinking a lot of water? I should seriously consider joining them to hold me more accountable. Since this week was overwhelming and my foot not allowing me to workout, it hasn't been good.
Phatgyrl, are you okay? Hope you didn't come down with the flu. Come back, come back, where ever you are.
Lori, those temperatures have me shivering just thinking about them. Your workouts sound like they are a full-time job. Good luck with the interviewing. Picturing you at a car dealer doing laps in between customers.
Kristin, glad the preop went so well. When is the actual obs? I also coach teachers thru the National Board process and that is soooo much like APPR. What movie did you and dh go see?
Deb, glad to hear you're feeling better, plus that you'll be legal! Would never have guessed you as otherwise. Holidays are always the hardest for them, don't you think? Wonder if it is the stress and anticipation involved... Are your inlaws and mom doing okay?
Well, no wo since Tuesday! Yep, stepped and totally reaggravated the morton's neuroma. Been icing it and trying to rest it. The only good thing is it happened during a very hectic time for me anyway, when it was hard for me to get workouts in. Today doing bi/tri and trying to figure out what to do with the paper that seems to be multiplying around my house.

Last night I did XTrain Bi/Triceps. Great workout. I noticed that Cathe's crew isn't in tune with Cathe at times. Never seen that in any of her other workouts before? Weird! There wasn't anything new, except the band workout at the end.

Debbie - what rotation are you following?

KirstIin - hope you had fun last night. I always thought yoga would help stetch those muscles out? Didn't know I was overstretching/aggravating it instead.

Hello everyone! CLB all done, plus core #2 (premix 1). I love this workout so much. It is so hard and yet still fun. I did it on three risers too! Woo hoo!

I still have a ton of essays to grade. Not sure how I am going to get it all done. Luckily I am off tomorrow. DH made plans for us tonight, so I have an hour before I am supposed to get ready. We went to see Parental Guidance last night. . . not my choice mind you. I wanted to see the bin Laden movie or Les Mis (never would happen with DH), or Django with DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx. . . but DH had the gift certificate and he picked Parental Guidance. It was a cute movie. .. just not my choice with all the great ones out right now.

Belinda- I notice that too about the crew. I forget which workout it is that she says work at your own pace. .. Sometimes I finish before her, other times after. . . but I'm kind of happy to see the crew doing that too, lol.

Cookie- the observation is Tuesday (3rd period, I like to get it out of the way), post observation on Monday of next week. I hope he gives me a clue as to what he thinks before the post observation, lol.

Deb- my laundry is getting to celing height as well. I just don't have it in me to do it, lol.

Okay, going to get some papers done before I jump in the shower.

Hey girls, quick check in for me. Just finished hard strikes time saver. It was fun and short...perfect. I was tired today but Im proud of myself for getting it in. Besides, I don't have any points left so I had to workout in order to eat supper;):p

Todays workout makes 5 workouts this week :eek: yay!!! And my eatings been very good.

ok...gotta fold some laundry, it certainly isn't going to fold itself :rolleyes:

I ended up not working out today was busy trying to catch up & we booked our anniversary trip to Hawaii so happy but nervous too. It's so far away.

Belinda - I'm doing the 90 day XT & LIS rotation. How is your foot feeling, did the shot give you some relief?

Lori - What are you up to?

Kristin - It's a good thing Santa brought extra underwear & socks helps with the laundry:) I hope you get through the essays quickly. Great workout today.

Amelia - Good luck tomorrow, great job getting your workouts in.

Cookie - Not too much fun to get hurt but worse when it's not from working out:( At least you can catch up on our paperwork now. My inlaws are doing well & my Mom's on a cruise.

Lori, can't imagine running in those temps. Good friend fell on ice last year and had a blood clot on her brain. Was in hospital for about 10 days, so now dh seldom runs when icy here.

Deb, so envious of your mom on a cruise. When are you going to Hawaii? Have you been before? When we lived in Taiwan we would use it as a vacation to break up the travelling with young kids. I always think that's what the Garden of Eden must have been like. Beautiful.
Friends' son came by last night to visit which was so good. He's moving out of country for a few years. I'm feeling completely overwhelmed. Working long hours and juggling too many responsibilities. then I feel like I have no time to wo, which then is something else to make me feel overwhelmed. Plus the darn foot seriously is making me miserable. Think I'm going to try to squeeze in another visit to urgent care. Last dr told me I'm over the limit on cortizone shots... All four dogs go to the vet today, plus I have a dentist appt. No wonder I'm not sounding like a bundle of joy.

Yesterday I took a 60 min walk w/the dogs. Had some pain, but nothing like I had a a week ago. So far so good.

Cookie - sorry to hear your foot is making you miserabel. What is the limit on corizone shots? I was so miserabel for the last 4 month. The swelling in my foot is going down.

Debbie - thanks for aslking. My foot is doing so much better. I am happy. My foot got a little tight/pain, but nothing like I experienced the last few weeks.

Amelia - how is your foot today? Good job on HS.

Kirstin - good job on CLB w/ 3 risers.

Hi ladies. Why do the weekends go so fast, especially 3 day weekend? I have my observation tomorrow at 9:50 (third period). Wish me luck. Even though my pre-observation went extremely well, I am still nervous, of course. I need to just relax. However, it started snowing here tonight and now the roads have snow on them, only an inch or so, BUT. . . they are saying that the high temp for tomorrow will be 20 degrees!!! WTH?:(:confused::eek: I will be on icy road commuter hell tomorrow, on top of it all! Wish me luck. :p I spent the day grading essays, and I still have more to do, lol. I did manage to get in HS though. I did the premix, like the rotation says to do, only because I could not squeeze in anything longer. My arms were burning this, more so than the last two times I did it. I didn't put my weighted gloves on last time though, maybe that is the difference.

Belinda- I am glad your foot is starting to feel better. Keep resting it. Hopefully this means you will not need another shot.

Cookie- I'll wish you luck for tomorrow too ;). Do you get nervous giving presentations or are you used to it? I have to tell you I never get used to speaking in front of adults. It is hard!

Deb- Hawaii!!!! That is fantastic! I have always wanted to go. Not sure I could handle to plane ride, but I do want to go one day. That is something to look forward to, for sure. So exciting. When are you going?

Amelia- awesome job staying on track with food and workouts. . . You are forming new habits for sure!!!!

Lori- what's going on girl? Any new news with house or job fronts?

Hey Girls:)

Busy day today plus I spent all weekend in a CPR course. It wasn't as boring as I thought it was gong to be. Plus I had to pay attention so I wouldn't fail :p

Saturday was a rest day. Yesterday was burn sets UB, 20 mins on the TM mixed in with the xtrain low impact DVD and #1 tabata set. Today was 25 mins in the TM and hard strikes. I also wanted to do legs but the baby woke up. I only have two DVDs left to try in this series and I could do them tomorrow. Ride and legs...sounds like a good combo if you ask me.

I met with some ladies with babies this morning, it was nice. They were very friendly. I had no clue who they were (their husbands work with DH) but I'd never met them. I just showed up at their house...not like me at all but it's the only way I'm going to meet people. Then at 4 I had another interview. She was very friendly and it wasn't your normal interview...she didn't ask me any questions, she just told me what the job was and she wants me to come in on wed for a couple hours and feel the place out. I don't know if she's getting everyone to do this or not. DH thinks I have the job but she never really said.

Belinda** sounds like you got DD all straightened out:) and appt cleaned :). I like xtrain but I still think that GS is my favourite series. I like certain parts to each of DVD but I didn't have any back doms.

Kristin** I wouldn't be able to tell you when dh and I had date night last. It's a little harder now that we don't have any family around. I liked cardio legs, I will most likely use it with the TM.

Deb** how nice!! Hawaii sounds heavenly. A few of my friends have went and they loved it. I'm sure you'll have fun!!

Cookie** I have a feeling I'm going to feel the same way when I start back at work. Picking kids up, dropping them off...making snacks...oh and my workouts!! Can't forget those!!

Ameila** did you go to your weigh in??

Hi,

I did burn sets upper body. I took off today but spent most of the day taking MIL shopping, visiting DS & taking him shopping, brakes for my car & trying to get some things done around the house:confused: Work tomorrow will be a piece of cake.

Belinda - I'm glad your foot is feeling better. I was wondering if you were able to take the dogs for walks . . . they must be so happy.

Lori - It sounds like you may have the job. Did you need the CPR course for PT? I took one many years when I was pregnant.

Kristin - Good luck tomorrow. I see on the news that you are getting snow it looks like a lot. We're going to Hawaii 2/12, soon.

Amelia - How did it go today? Sometimes the scale doesn't change due to exercising.

Cookie - You seem overwhelmed, anyway to get assistance at work. We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon & I remember saying let's come back on a special anniversary. DH has been saving & we're also using reward points. Your take on it being what the Garden of Eden could be is dead on.

Phatgyrl - If your still hanging around, hope your feeling better.

Morning girls,

Weigh in went well, I lost 4lbs! The meeting is so motivating...really like it, but at 14$ a pop Im thinking about just weighing in every other week or maybe even once a month? I can still participate in the meetings I just can't weigh in unless I pay :)

This weeks goals are to get in two full body weight workouts a week and three days of cardio. Oh and to get in more veggies in.

Im off today and I plan on getting in one of those full body weight workouts.

Cookie- ((hugs)) I so understand how your feeling. I hope you were able to get in that much needed workout. Hows the foot today?

Belinda-Nice job on your walk yesterday and im glad your foot is doing better.

Deb-Sounds like you had a very productive day yesterday. Nice job on BSUB

Kristin-Nice job on HS, any doms today? I did that one yesterday and almost used weighted gloves, I think I will next time.

Lori-sounds like you got the job to me. And good for you for meeting new people. Nice job on your workouts. :)

I talked to my boss yesterday about having more Saturdays off with my kids and she said ok. So from now on I will have at least two Saturdays off a month:eek: Thats a huge accomplishment in retail. LOL

Workout is done: I did Turbo Jam Cardio Party Mix 1 and 10 Minute Trainer w/Tony Hortan. TJ is a blast, even low impact. I burned over 556 cal in only 43 min:eek: I'll take it:D

Amelia - you have to pay for weigh in? Great job on your weight loss. How many cal can you eat on WW'ers? That's great news, now you can spent more time with your kids on the weekend;)
