Commit to get Fit & Lean for April!

Good morning!
Belinda, are you cleaning out? Is that what you're doing? Good for you. You've been on a roll this past year.
Amelia, you're down three pounds! That's awesome! Once you set your mind to something, I can tell that's it.
Kristin, I remembered something important - in NYS there is a 3-day window to void a contract. Not sure if you want to go that far, but you can invalidate the contract and then negotiate again. Best of luck.
Lori, glad to hear from you and that everyone, except dad, is busy but they're all happy. We have had rabbits over the years, but I think they are nothing but a poop machine. One of my sons is also allergic and that didn't help. Plus they're rodents and eat everything - furniture and an even electrical wires.
Too windy to be out putting in the wiring yesterday. Did DWP and Tonique. about 2 mile walk with the dogs.
Off to csb, probably an abbreviated version.

Soooo. . . I have great news! I went by the new house today and the backyard was graded and seeded! The guy did it already, without us having to even ask or say, hey we didn;t put this in the contract, but the realtor said. . . I think this is another sign that this is a good deal and meant to be. I am sooooo happy and relieved. Also, my realtor officially put the house up for rent. It is on the realtor website. I am hoping that we can have someone in here by June. . . May even, lol. If the realtor finds us a renter for May, I would totally close ASAP.

On another note. . . testing begins tomorrow :confused::(

Cookie- we've been in contract for over a week, so that would not be an option, at least I don't think so. I cannot wait to see this test tomorrow. We had parents opting out today with written letters. I wonder how far this movement will go.

Lori- I love the house, I am even happier now knowing that he did the grading and seeding. I cannot wait to have the space and the beautiful kitchen and a big bedroom. Right now DH and I sleep in a FULL size bed because that is all that fits in the darn bedroom, lol. I cannot wait for a QUEEN size bed, :D.

Belinda- when are you getting the Mac? What is left in the garage? I am making my garage my workout space. It will be nice to have everything set up and ready to go.

Okay, off to bed. Oh, my workout today was Tabatacise premix #2.

Kristin

Hi,

We just arrived home tonight. We had a great time and did a lot of walking on the beach. It went really well with visiting my Dad & his wife too.

It was really sad when we were in the airport we heard about the Boston bombs & a woman sitting behind me was crying. I think she had a family member there. It makes me so  that this is still happening & again young children were harmed:(

Belinda - Wow, you are really doing a great job of cleaning up! It must be so tiring to do too. It is hard to type on ipad I bought a wireless keypad & it helps but still prefer the desktop for typing.

Lori - Congratulations on selling your house, now you can take your time looking for a new house that will work for you. It must be great having your Dad & Mom visit & the dog back home.

Kristin - I'm happy for you that the guy still followed thru with the backyard. Good luck with testing tomorrow:) Hopefully when you get a bigger bed your ds's don't try & sneak in;)

Amelia - I hope your back is feeling better.

Cookie - I had a dog that loved water too but not so much fun for the owners;) I meant to check in but time was getting away from us.

Good afternoon,

I can't see my post from yesterday? Weird! Today I did TJ cardio party. I am in week 4 of my rotation. Next week I will do Turbo Jam, Brazil Buttlift Hybrid rotation. I am down another 5 pounds. Loving it.

Lori - congratulation on your house. Thats fantastic.

Cookie - yes, I am on the roll. We have way too much stuff. Hope your testing went well.

Kirstin - there is no way I could work out in the garage. It gets hot out there. Does your new house have a basement? How big is your new house? I can't decide between the Mac Pro and the Air?

Debbie - glad you had fun. So sad, about Bosten. My sister from Germany called to see if we are ok. She said, thats all they showing on the news.I hate typing on the kindle.

I will be back in the morning.

Hey girls,

I can't remember the last time I checked in

Yesterday I started the LIS/Xtrain rotation. Did burn sets chest, shoulders & core #1 ( had to skip the back portion because my back isn't 100% yet). Today was cardio supersets.

We had a great weekend, spent almost all day at the park with a picnic and a very long hike, about 2 hours. It was so pretty. Never did get a chance to go to yard sales though.

Kristin-Great news on the house up for rent and your new home's back yard being graded and seeded. Sounds so excited!! Im so happy for you:)

Lori-glad everyone landed safe and sound, great news on the house selling.

Deb-Glad you had a good time, I miss walking on the beach. Maybe soon. And I know..the bombing was so sad to hear. Just so sad:(

Belinda-Congratulations on your 5lbs! Great job girl...

Cookie-Hows the wiring fence coming along? Great job on your walk and workout yesterday.

Well, nothing new with me. I may have a possible offer to be a bakery manager in about a month, theres a store about 30 minutes from me who's manager isn't doing too good. I was told today about the position....im just not sure if I want all that responsibility. I'm thinking about it...the pay isn't bad.

Good morning! Yesterday's workout was HR. My upper body is truly sore today. I thought it would be too easy, lol. I thought wrong. So yesterday was the first day the house went on the market to rent and two couples came to take a look at it already! We have someone else coming today. I am hoping that we can get this house rented and outta here ASAP.

Day two of testing is today. The students were WIRED after taking that long test yesterday. It was hard to keep them focused. Next week won't be much better because they are taking the math assessments. Then it is May already :eek::eek:. Summer will be here before you know it. I'll be spending my summer in my new, big house :).

Belinda- I don't have a basement. I really didn't want one. A lot of the basements here have very low ceilings, so me being 5'9, I would have a hard time doing the jumping and steps in a basement gym anyway. The garage is big and I plan on getting a portable A/C. Next year, when we get our tax return we want to put in Central air. Then I will put in a vent in the garage for me. DH and I already discussed this. Our new house is 1800 Sq. feet. Double what we have now. It has a brand new huge kitchen with three windows, a huge living room, and a den with sliding glass doors leading to the backyard. The first floor also has a half bath with a new washer and dryer in it. The second floor has three huge bedrooms with big closets and a full bath, which can be accessed from the hall and the master bedroom. I cannot wait to get in there! My favorite part of the house is the staircase. It is beautiful! It is the focal point when you walk in the entryway of the house too. It is the perfect size for us. DSs will still share a room, only it will be 5X the size of the room they have now. When they get older, they can have their own rooms if they want.

Amelia- I've looked at that rotation a few times. I am thinking of mixing the 30 day rotation with doing every other week something different, like 4DS, then one week of Intensity series workout, etc. I'm playing around with it still.

Deb- glad you enjoyed Florida and your visit with your dad. Walks on the beach. .. I cannot wait for summer!

Waving hello to Lori!

Kristin

Good morning,

My plan for today is : TJ sculptor and TJ ab Jam.

What are your plans?

Kirsten - your house sounds lovely. That's a great idea in the garage.

Amelia - have fun with your rotation. It looks like fun.

I am back after my workout. Happy Hump Day.

Today's workout was IMAX 2, combos and blasts 1-5, then AT express premix. We had another person look at the house today, but they were not interested. My broker says she has an older couple that is looking to rent a very small house. She is showing it to them tomorrow and thinks they will bite. I hope so!

Anyway. . . I am exhausted. I am hoping to get through this month, get this house rented and get into my new home!

Be back tomorrow!

Kristin

Hi,

I have so much catching up to do at work:( need to get stores ready for "Mother's Day" which means warmer weather:) Today I did bi's & tri's. DH had dinner ready when I came home so that was really nice.

Belinda - Wow, on the weight loss. Will you bring workouts to Germany or take it easy?

Kristin - Your house sounds awesome. My boys shared a room by choice for many years. Do you have to practice for the next test as well on testing days?

Amelia - You'll like that rotation. The new job sounds interesting something to consider.

Cookie & Lori - I hope the warm weather made it's way to you today:)

Goodnight:)

Morning!
Belinda, such a tough choice on the computer, but you probably can't go wrong with either. I have Apple products and they last so long. Love them. You're going to look and feel fantastic when you get to Germany.
Kristin, the house sounds lovely, esp. the staircase. My boys also shared rooms when they were younger by their choice. They could have each had their own, but they would keep moving in together. All I can say about the past two days: brutal.
Lori, miss you.
Amelia, I was wondering how your back is doing. Congrats on the offer of manager. Are you thinking about it? You're a hard worker who will do well at whatever you decide. How's your dog doing? The weather was bad last weekend so we didn't do the fencing. Now I'm regretting it big time.
Deb, how's your father doing? And your ds? Don't you hate how work just builds up and up? Perhaps the set ups can count for your workout.
Woke up early and realized it was really quiet in the house. My dh must have left the puppy outside and forgot to let her back in. Anyway, she didn't come back in til just a few minutes ago. God knows where she was or what she was doing. At least she's not soaking wet. These dogs are acting like my boys as teenagers - messy, noisy, and out all night.
Hope I have the energy to go do cf now.
Cookie

Hello all. Well, the testing is over for English language arts anyway. What a test. I found the test to be unfair, but whatever. Maybe all the conspiracy-theorists are correct. . . maybe they are planning on privatizing education. They can only do that if they can prove that we are all failing and bad teachers. :( It saddens me.

I did a kick-butt workout after today. I did SB plus the weights from SJP. I am a sweaty, stress-free mess now, lol.

Cookie- the test was awful. My honors students didn't finish yesterday. They were upset that in today's passages on passage spelled Klondike with an i and the other Klondyke with a y. They were confused and thought they were being tricked. I think they are on to something. :(

Deb- my boys are very close and they are both afraid of the dark, so keeping them together just makes sense. The room they will be in is huge. If they were in separate rooms, I think they would both end up in our bed again.

I'm spent. I'll bbl,

Kristin

Hi,

I did a bunch of my favorite Cathe leg exercises. I'm still busy cleaning the house & catching up on laundry but maybe I won't have to do as much this weekend. I went for my yearly mamo & that went well.

Cookie - I hope your puppy doesn't come back preggo LOL. My Dad feels like he has taken a turn in the right direction, he is able to manager his pain better with more over the counter products. My son is doing better but thinking of moving him out of this area an hour or two away.

Kristin - Ugh, on the testing. I always felt if they need to make cuts that is the 1st thing to get rid of & it would save school districts a ton of money. I wanted to tell you it was awesome that your parents bought you furniture for the new house.

Waves hi to Belinda, Lori & Amelia

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Belinda, I think of you and Amelia often when I'm walking the dogs. This puppy is so energetic but ohhh, she's using up all that I can remember on dog training. Walking her is a core endurance workout. She tries to pull so much, especially going down hills. Sure wish she would going up them. How are your children doing?
Amelia, have you made up a pros/cons sheet on the new position? Just curious.
Kristen, can't imagine how much the scores across the state are dropping. No idea why NYS wants to look so incredibly bad. While I understand the need for change, it is too drastic a one for students, teachers, and districts to be impacted the first year. I also meant to comment earlier on how sweet and generous your parents are.
Lori, have you run away?
Deb, our oldest has moved back in (again!) and is trying to straighten himself out (again!). The roller coaster has been slowing down and he seems to be doing a lot better. It is so very challenging. Hope your ds is doing better also. Wish I got more done around the house during this week. Not being here much and going in and out, things start to pile up and that drives me crazy.
Well, think dh has our weekend planned - installing the fence system! Aren't we an exciting couple, but after a few weeks of training the puppy, life should be easier. Oh, she's fixed. No way I want any little ones. Yesterday just felt too tired to do cf and ended up doing a couple of rebounder exercises. Were fun and definitely put me in a good mood. That means - cf now!
Cookie

Morning everyone,
My dog had surgery on his lip and his stomach. He also had his teeth cleacning done. Poor baby.

Kirsten - sorry about the testing.

Debbie - I need to clean my house today too. Never ending story.

Cookie - thanks on your feedback. I will order the Mac pro today. Before we picked up the dog from the vet, we stopped at Best buy. They had all the Mac computers.

I will be back later.

Hi,

I took a yoga class today & when I miss the class seems so much harder. I've been watching the Boston incident unfold amazed how fast they caught them. I'm going to go to bed soon want to get a good workout in tomorrow.

Belinda - Why did you dog need surgery? Was wondering if it's from the dog bite.

Lori - Did the house sale go through?

Kristen - I hope you are enjoying the weekend after all that testing.

Amelia - Have you decided if you will go for the job?

Cookie - My neighbors are putting up an invisible fence too for their new puppy. They love that kind of stuff:), we're going out with them next weekend. I'm not sure if we are ever meant to be empty nesters LOL.

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Belinda, your poor dog and your poor wallet! How is he doing? What happened? I love my apple products. Used to sort of snicker that it was sort of a cult - but I've joined and am happy. Their products just last longer and are more reliable than any of the other computers and laptops we've bought.
Amelia, how's your weather? I'm finally seeing flowers coming into bud and bloom.
Lori, how long are your parents here for?
Kristin, you just have a lot going on right now. When's the closing?
Deb, sometimes I think of downsizing just so we could have an empty or emptier nest! We were supposed to go out with friends to hear a band last night, but I ended up leaving work at 8 pm and just went home. Friday nights I just am worn out. Supposed to go to dinner with other friends this evening; they know what evening I have energy. If weather holds out it will be squats and lunges with invisible fencing! Want to get in an upper body workout also, or at least one beyond using a tool to dig a trench and carry wire.
Cookie

Morning girls,

Yesterday I did TJ sculptor and abs. Today I will do TJ cardio party.

Cookie - I am tired of buying a new computer every 2 or 3 years.

Debbie - he had a mass on his stomach for a while, he was already sleeping getting his teeth cleaned.

Have a great weekend.

Hey everyone. I did AB today. My butt is on fire. It has been months since I did that one. I did the double trouble premix. I like that premix better than repeating each round right after the first. It seems to go a little faster and I don't dread it as much. I like the music in Xtrain much better though.

Nothing new with the house. I am getting anxious that we haven't had any takers to rent this house, even though it has only been a week. I just want to know this house is rented and move out. I am ready to get in the new house. It feels like even though May will be here soon, it is going too slow now, lol. I have mixed feelings. One day I want to wait it out to save every penny I can and then the next minute I want to move in right away. I guess that's the curse of being a Gemini.

Cookie-Round two this week. I am so glad that I only teach ELA and am not an elementary school teacher. I wonder what happens if a teacher's students ace the math but bomb the ELA how that would impact her evaluation. . . Is it advantageous to teach both (such as elementary school teachers do) or to teach one subject (like I do as a middle school teacher)?

Belinda- I admit. . . I am envious that you are getting a Mac. I wish I had one!

Deb- I was so done this week, I went to bed at 9 last night! The kids and teachers were beyond stressed in my building. My son, who doesn't have to take the tests yet (I may opt him out next year) said his friend in 4th grade was crying about the test. WTH are we doing? I was amazed at how quickly they got the bombers too.

Going out tonight with friends. I may have a few beers. . . but no hangovers tomorrow!!!

Gotta get ready!

Kristin

'Morning!
Belinda, think you will love how easy it is to navigate your new computer. They are pretty much are set up and ready to run right out of the box.
Kristin, think it will be hard to do better in math than in ELA, since there is so much reading expected in the new assessments. It seems only districts who are high achieving could opt out since 95% of students need to be tested w/o repercusions. If subgroups also do not perform well, that more dings against the district. That's an extremely slippery slope. Hope you had fun last night.
Amelia, have you decided about the position change?
Lori, miss you.
Deb, Friday evening unfolded like a crime novel. Who could have ever written that as a book?
Still working on the fencing. My morton's neuroma is bother me again, so I'm hoping to rest my foot today. Looks like a beautiful day for a walk, but there will be other days.
Cookie

Hi,

Yesterday was Supercuts today Turbo Barre. We went out last night to a special dinner for DH & BIL's friend my SIL & her SIL (who is a friend of mine from the gym) were there so it was nice. There just were too many speeches and they didn't serve dinner until almost 10PM:confused: dessert at midnight!

Belinda - I hope your dog is ok. I think I will pull out a TJ this week:)

Kristin - Ugh, on that testing:( no purpose for that when they get in the real world. This is prime season for renting/buying so keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Cookie - It was cold today to be digging outside but at least no rain. I don't blame you for not wanting to go out if you worked late . . . sure pj's was the only thing on your mind;)

Waves hi to Lori & Amelia

Goodnight:)
