Hi and good morning,

I never did my abs yesterday:mad: I will do legs and abs today! Can't believe I am almost done with STS:confused:

I don't know if I mentioned it or not? My husband hurt his hip a few month ago. To make the story short, he is moving since Nov last year like a 90 year old:mad::eek: and it's not getting any better. We took a walk with the dogs on Sun, the dogs and I almost felt asleep walking that slooooooow. Well, he saw the doc yesterday again, because I am on his butt about it:eek: He saw 3 different doctors for the same problem, not one of them saw on the MRI that it wasn't fluit in his hip (which they told him will take up to 2 years to heal), it's a piece of flesh stuck in his hip bone, which is causing this:eek::eek:WTH? He is seeing the doc again on Thursday, to talk about surgery:eek: They all need to figure something out, I have never seen my husband limping and in so much pain since last year! If he gets surgery this week or next week, we may have to push the move a few weeks:eek::eek: we are getting ready for a big move not only in Germany, but also in the US! I can't do all the moving by myself, I go nuts!

To early to be awake and to actually be thinking about working out:confused: But Im gonna try it. I said I would give it a shot today b/c if I have to be at work by 8:30 and be on call in the evening...when will I get my workouts in? So I set my alarm for 5:15 and hoping to be running by 5:45 and I have a client at 6:30 and she should be outta here by 7:30.

Yesterday was another busy day of course, I should have went to bed with DS. My workout was abs, GS and MM bics and tris, 3 miles on the TM (25 mins), 30 mins on the bike and the floor work from GS legs. Today Im gonna try PH abs and a run. And it better be a good one if I am getting up this early for it!

I am taking DD to work with me today. I hope I actually have some work to show her and that people aren't under my feet all day. As soon as I go in, I am sure my manager will be sitting in my spot.

I ordered my sisters bday gift yesterday from lulu...might have added a couple of things in my cart for myself:p They are doing reno's to the online store so the selection online is very limited. I put some things in my cart but didn't check out. I went back last night to checkout and the store had downsized big time. Even though the stuff that was in my cart wasn't showing when I browsed, it still let me check out:D I don't know what I would have done b/c that's what she asked for for her bday....anyway..I ordered a tank and capris for her and a bra and shorts for me:D

I will bbl to catch up on personals...or I will atleast try!

Yesterday I did do Rhythmic Step, and Stretch Max 1. Tonight's brutal workout at the gym....pray for me:

50 Bench Presses

50 Rear Delt Fly's
50 Lat Pull Downs
50 Cable Curls
50 Hammer Curls

Um... Ow. :eek:

I don't have anything this morning, not until tonight, so I'm going to enjoy a relaxing morning at home. It's almost 7 and I just got up, slept for over 9 hours! :D Will probably do some cooking, prep for the rest of the week's sessions, have a couple of cups of coffee....and stroll into work around 11ish. ;)

Belinda- Wow...so sorry to hear about your DH!! Keep us posted! How did he get flesh in his hip is what I want to know?? And don't worry about the move, it will all work out!!

Cookie- Miss ya girl! Things are crazy at work?? Yes, things have calmed way down with DC. :rolleyes:

Lori- Do you go right from working out to training a client?? Wish I trained at home so I could do that! I say don't plan on what "might" happen! Sign up for the test! ;) You don't know what could happen tomorrow ya know?

Melissa- Still haven't heard anything...bummer! Maybe I'm just impatient??

Deb- Omggg @ your DS and his gf....I'm so sorry to hear...:( I wish I knew what to say, she must be devasted....:(

Kristin- That's great about the baseball team!! What fun for you and DH! :) So, the Viper is a circuit style workout, with cardio's from C&W, Imax 2, and strength from ME. Very tough! Love it.

Hello to all:D Just came from that Cathe chat thread, she was answering some questions about the new workouts! CAN'T WAIT!

ok guys, for those curious about the whole 'donut situation'...here's the scoop. I went to bed around 9:30 the night before (but my mind when to bed around 11:30:rolleyes:) This will most likely be a one day a week thing, not a everyday thing. and i hate it. Honestly...its a PITA to get up that early even if its just for one day a week:confused::confused:

Debbie-If you see how those greasy donuts are made and then later see the lard that I have to cut up to put back in the donut cooker....im sure a donut would turn your stomach...your absolutely right girl:)

Iris-MY GOSH WOMEN...your gonna be sore tomorrow:p

Belinda- ((((((HUGS))))) so sorry to hear your DH hurt his hip, hopefully its not what the doctor said it was and your hubby won't need surgery:(

hello to EVERYONE I missed! Todays was a rest day...got to go to work today, tomorrow and friday then Im off the weekend. DH bought tickets to go see the ATL braves on Sunday...can't wait to get out of the house. I have to go make damn donuts Monday though:( Did I mention I hate donuts now?;):p

Hola ladies! This morning I did the last leg disc in STS M2. Halfway through the deadlifts I felt something in my lower back twinge but I finished the WO and now my back KILLS!!! Ughhh... I was supposed to run and do abs today after class but I don't wanna mess up my back any more. Maybe I will stretch.

The funny thing was my brother hurt his knee doing lunges Monday and my friend hurt himself yesterday lifting. Wtf?! The workout demon is making his rounds.

Deb, sorry to hear about your son and his gf :( Not sure what I would say to her? I guess just let her know if she needs to talk you are there? Just don't say too much about the fight I guess because you don't want to play sides (even though if he was seeing someone else he was obviously in the wrong but at the same time you don't want to be caught in the middle). DAMN 31?! That is a little too old lol! I thought being 26 and on your parents' insurance plan was pushing it.

Kristin, aww your practice sounds like so much fun!! And it's a great opp for you to do something with the boys and DH which I think is great! Ok, this is a dumb question but are the sliding discs subs for paper plates?

Belinda, you're almost done with STS too? I have 5 weeks left. Oh no, sorry to hear about DH!!! Hopefully he will feel better soon :( At least they have the problem pinpointed down so hopefully they can fix it and he will be back 100%!

Lori, LOL you are a lulu junkie! Do you need an intervention ;)

Cookie, coffee is a wonderful, wonderful thing. I skipped mine this morning and when I came home I crashed with a TWO HOUR nap!!!:eek::eek: Yeah, I figured out the costs and school FT w/insurance will be $1K less than if I took the parttime route! It's crazy how much healthcare costs, especially for healthy people to pay that?! It makes me angry :mad:

Iris, holy motha now THAT is a workout!! Good luck, you can do it! Give them a couple days then I would call and see what's up. These places are a little slow to get things moving though, FYI ;) They are not the most organized bunch.

Amelia, I need to ask you: in bio we learned that donuts are made in old "dirty" oil. Like, it's bought from a place like McDonald's that used it before because it makes them crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Is that true?! Since then I have never eaten another donut cuz it grossed me out!!
 
Evening all. D35 done, plyo legs! THis mesocycle with the plyo legs is a killer. My legs are shaking right now as I type, lol. One more disc to go and I will officially be done with STS for the first time, woo hoo!

Belinda- what a lot to go through right before the big move. At least they finally know what is wrong with DH's hip. I hope all goes well!

Melissa- I hope your back is better. Maybe you just pulled a muscle. Sliding discs subs for paper paltes? You mean for the new workouts? I think so. She mentioned that we will be using them for the cardio portions as well, so I think it will be a must-buy because I cannot see myself moving fast on paper plates, lol.

Amelia- I am cracking up at your donut situation, lol. It reminds me of the old, old Dunkin Donuts commercial, when the guy with the big moustache wakes up at the crack of dawn and says, "Time to make the donuts." LOL.

Iris- Oooo Viper sounds good. I might go for that, being as though I love ME and IMAX2 so much. Your evening workout sounds like a killer.

Hi girls,

Today I took a spin class and did a lot of walking at work, wanted to do legs but waiting till tomorrow. I was wondering if you girls do plyo legs, squat legs or mix it up for Meso 3?

So today ds & gf started to return things that belonged to each other:( I started giving ds the talk on how he has to be kinder because he is in the wrong here. I basically suggested to both of them to take a break and think about what they really want.

Belinda - So sorry to hear about DH but it's better to get it taken care of before the big move. I'm sure it will be worth it so his pain is relieved.

Lori - Is the reason Lulu is low on stock because you bought it all:eek: you must be going through Lulu withdrawal.

Cookie - Happy to see you back . . . was it the "new" workouts that caught your eye;) They have been going out about 5 years . . . 1st loves, so you know how that goes.

Iris - Wondering if you'll be able to type tomorrow morning after that workout:eek:

Amelia - I was thinking about the same Dunkin Donut commercial as Kristin. I'll have to use that visual the next time I want a donut . . . hopefully cookies are still safe;)

Melissa - I felt twinges in my back yesterday after starting M3 . . . be careful. The 2-hour nap sounds perfect especially with all these rainy days.

Kristin - Sounds like you and your DH are having fun with baseball:) Great job one more to go!!!

Trish - Are you getting ready for vacation?

Helene - Hopefully your lurking, the new workouts should be good for your back.

Thanks for all your kind words and hugs about DH! He will see the doc tomorrow, I hope they will get him in for surgery soon (he needs the surgery!). I will keep you posted!

Had an awesome leg and ab workout today. I did 12 min of Ab Hits with the planks!

Debbie - good job, on your spin class.

Kirstin - good job, on D35! Congrats on finishing STS!

Melissa - be careful with those deadlifts, girl! Make sure, you stretch your back.

Amelia - thank goodness, I never got into donuts! Never liked them for some reason, lol!

Iris - your workout today sounds brutal! How did you do?

Cookie - hope things will slow down for you soon.
