Good Morning Girls!

How is everyone?:) Supper last night was nice....but I couldn't get off of the tolit after I got home! Man, I don't know what was wrong with me. It couldn't have been what I ate b/c DH and I shared and appetizer and the girls all had the same thing. But Im the only one who got gut rot!:mad:

I've been doing pretty good with the calorie counting but slightly off the past 2 days. Its so much harder to do when I am eating out or eating with family members. The pasta they put on my plate Sat was crazy and I was left trying to figure out how much a cup was. But if I were home with my own fam, I would have just measured it out. I couldn't do that with my MIL around!:eek: But even with all that, the scale is only up 1.2 lbs... not to bad, still at 122.7. So back at it today. Hopefully I won't find it to hard cause I am working two days shifts...and up early to get workouts in.

I think I am going to do a circuit workout using the TM...not sure what but i need to make up my mind soon!

Good morning Lori and all who follow,

Sorry, I didn't started the thread this morning! I took DH to the ENT this morning. DH is feeling much better since he is taking meds, LOL! The swelling is down a little in his face and eys, that is a good sign! He is still beleeding out of his nose!

Not sure if I will start a new rotation? BBL to report what I end up doing!

Thanks girls for all the get well wishes for DH and myself! You girls rock!

Cookie* the doc. took out the splints today! The ENT said yesterday, that my DH should have been on meds.for at least 7-10 days,after the surgery to prevent getting an infection. They gave DH only on pill in the hospital, that wasn't enough! He also had green stuff coming out of his nose Satureday and Sunday:( When did you started to feel better, after a week?

Im at work now. Rotted cause there is a plane coming in that I can't stand going to. Its a bigger aircraft and myself and another girl from another company will go out at the sametime to see whose fuel they would like. I hate doing...can't stand it! Its just a complete waste of my time b/c the other girl will go out with bags of treats for them...while I go out with a stupid envelope for duty free:mad: Now..tell me what would look better to you? Not to mention that I am not the pushy kind...so if they beat me up the stairs...they beat me up the stairs:eek: If there was some kind of reward for going out to it (like $100) considering that he will make thousands, then I would be pushy, but hey, there is nothing in it for me so why care? LOL

I did PUB S,T&B, 2.5 mile run and 4DSBC. It was a good workout. Now I just have to try to stay in my calorie range while at work. Easier said then done!

Good Morning girls

My scale is down another lb today,yay. now ive got 3.8lbs to go until im back at square one with my weightloss:). I just hope the scale continues to go down, i would hate to have gained a couple of lbs from my 'out of whack ' months:eek:

My DD has karate class tonight:) can't wait to see how she likes it. The price isn't to bad either....

Lori-Ive always gotten confused on measuring noodles? I usually just make me a cup of noodles then a cup of the speghetti sauce....and hope for the best. I've thought about getting me a scale for food,there's a nice one ive got my eye on.....I measure everything anyway,so why not get a digital one?(ive got an old timey one right now)

Belinda-Im so glad to hear your DH is feeling a littlebit better,can't believe the hospital didn't send him home with any meds? I can't imagine having surgery without any pain killers afterwards?

Im still working on todays workout....thinking about doing Imax2 premix 1 and PH UB only! That would be an hour....i hope that lady with my HRM emails me today....I emailed her last thurs wondering if she shipped it,still no word:mad: I would love to see how many cals I burn during Imax2;)
 
Good morning ladies,

I thought I check in right quick before Ms. Heidi starts keeping me busy again.

Yesterdays workout was MM and it felt really nice. I can feel DOMS in my chest and my leg and butt :D.

Not sure what I will be doing today. I am thinking about LM since days now, so maybe that's what I will end up doing or I might take a rest day, who knows it's Monday :rolleyes:.

Lori - Looks like a nice workout you did today.

Belinda - I am so glad to hear that your DH is doing better!!!!

Amelia - I sure hope that you will get your HRM soon. I still haven't pulled out mine.

Hi again,

I pulled a muscle in my back! I have no luck:( I will do a light stretch/yoga, see if that helps:eek: It hurts like hell when I breath in! If I feel better tomorrow I will start a new rotation. I am also looking at Cathe Sept.07 circuit city rotation.Or should I stick with FF's circuit roation?

Belinda** You aren't having any luck at all! I hope the pain goes away over night. That rotation looks good. I love circuit workouts!

Well, my friend who is counting cals with me as completely lost her mind. When she wants to lose weight she can't lose it fast enough. I told her to start using her TM but instead she wants me to go back to the online calorie calculator and then tell her how many cals she can have a day for her activity level. Right now she is following my # but she doesn't workout. For her level, she is up past 1000 cals a day! Does she really think that she is going to keep that off?

Hey girls quick check in...finished my workout.

Lori-Thats the same problem that I have with my mom....she thinks if she's not a lean machine in two weeks than something isn't working:rolleyes:.

Right before I started work (two months ago:confused:)i wondered off track and didn't get back on the wagon until last saturday. My scale was up 8 lbs as of saturday morning:eek: so I just said enough is enough and started counting my cals agian....I hope most of the gain is water weight!:confused: Feels good to be back on track:D

Kristine-great job with MM...gotta love those doms;):D Hopefully i will have some tommorrow. Enjoy your rest day(or whatever you decide to do)

Lori, glad your stomach is doing better. That sure was not a fun way to end the evening. Of course, it did make calorie counting easier.... So, did the plane choose the smarter, more charming salesperson, the one who is an Energizer Bunny?

Amelia, boy you whip right back into action, don't you? Did you find out about when your HRM is arriving? What kind do you have? I have a Polar, but pretty much just use it as a watch. I get a lot of compliments on it too. It's just so early when I work out that I tend to forget to put the strap on until after I'm into the warmup and then it's not worth it. I did play with it a lot in the beginning though. Hope you enjoy yours.

Belinda, until the splints came out I thought I was in worse pain than any childbirth. I'm not someone who usually complains, but to give you an idea how bad your husband feels, I'll tell you. It wasn't just pain, it was also intense discomfort and nauseous. I just wished I knew it was going to be like that. Not knowing, I had the surgery on a Wednesday and had to take one of my sons to a hockey tournament a few states away Friday morning, and we were there for three days! Thank God we rode with another family, because I never left the hotel room. My husband had to come for us since I felt like my whole head was going to explode. There was no way I was going to ride home with music blaring and teenagers! Plus the lights from oncoming cars! Please give your husband my sympathies. Okay, TMI. The good thing is it really did help with getting sinus infections. I drink a lot of water and seldom have dairy products, which I think also help.

Kristine, LM? Did you do it? I get the idea for a workout in my head and it doesn't go away sometimes. LM is on my plan for Friday, and I'm looking forward to it. Have you every tried just doing the intervals twice? Pleasurable pain.

Well, still didn't sleep well last night, and so this morning I rested. Started a soup in the crockpot before running out the door, but forgot to turn it on. Yep, it was one of those days. Since today was GSBSB, and tomorrow would have been GSL, I'm thinking of either MM or a circuit. Then I see my friend Belinda is thinking of a circuit rotation, so I guess it will be a circuit. Hmmm. HSTA or DM? Or perhaps the Viper? Think it will be the Viper just 'cause of the name.

Kim, are you still recovering from your birthday?
Cheryl, how's life in the West?
Iris, are your poor arms tired from all those pushups?

Have four phone calls I have to make, so I better get going.
