You guys been chatty yesterday:p I almost couldn't keep up!:p



Lori** I will be skinny walking 4 km up ( and a 2 km hill from hell)! LOL! Nice job on your workout yesterday! Do you run and do a weight workout every day? I am very sorry about your DH oncle! (((HUGS))) to you and your DH. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Don’t worry about your friend she sounds TOTALLY self absorbed. A real friend wouldn’t do that.

Amelia** congratulations on getting the job and your weight loss! That is awesome! I am so happy for you! I know how much you wanted to work.

Cookie** thank you for you kind words! I am totally stressing out the closer it get to move. I don’t know way I am stressing so much, I couldn’t sleep all night long again! I am thinking if we are making the right choice by moving off post? The distance from the new house on post isn’t that bad ( the new house is like 4 km up hill off post), but right now I have everything in walking distance? I do like the convenience! The new house is a lot smaller than my apartment. I hope I am doing the right thing by moving and that for 2 years?? What is wrong with me?

Trish** wow, you have a lot going on too! I have friends I am not close with anymore, we are in the military friends come and g !Unfortunately! (((((HUGS)))) to you! I hope things will work out for you! Thanks for the kind words! I hope all will work out for the best? WTG on those plie squats! They will get you good! I am in the same boat as you are, my eating has suffered due to stress.

Kim** WTG on 4DS KC! That is a tough one! Good stress reliever! LOL! Maybe I will do that one today? BFL means Body for Life! Nice job on Ripped to the Core this yesterday! Is it a good one? I hear you on the weight! I need to read the OF! Hope your feel better soon!

Morning girls

Todays workout is BM2 cardio and weights premix...thats 70 mins and over 700 calories burned(according to MFP,but im only eating 500 of those cals burned just to be safe;))

How is everyone doing today! Ive got to go over to my MIL to help her vacum...ever since her stroke ealier this year shes had trouble doing alot of the housework! so i may not be back until tonight!

SURVIVOR TONIGHT!!! Whos watching?

I will bb later for some peronals...I saw that everybody checked in yesterday...yay! But where is Cheryl??????
 
Good Morning!!!:)

I had such a easy night at work last night:) I even had trouble falling to sleep when I got home! LOL To much sleep at work:p I have a flight tonight though but its still before midnight. Im hoping to get a few z's, not sleep to late, get up early, and get out for a long run before DH and I head to the city:) I am looking forward to getting away.

Belinda** No, I don't do weight workouts everyday, just on the days when I do a short run that is on the TM. Its easier cause DS is usually having his nap in his crib but when I run outside he is in his stroller and when I stop he wakes up. Im trying to get two full body weight workouts in per week cause I am suppose to have 2 rest days a week. I wanted to measure around my calves today cause they look like they have gotten smaller...but it could be my eyes;)

Ameila** Wow with the workout!:D Sounds like your doing a gidget style workout:) Ive never gotten into survivor. The only reality t.v show I watch is TBL, other then that Im not addicted to anything!:eek:

Kim** I read your post last night, 5 lbs a week is alot of weight to lose but how much do you have to lose? You could always give it your all and see where it takes you? Nothing better then a goal!

I have to check up on yesterdays thread to see what Belinda is talking about. I have to see if I missed anything:eek:

Oh and my scale was kind to me today as well. Since this summer I have been anywhere from 124.5- 127 (on my bad days) but today the scale said 122.7:D I couldn't beleive it! If Im really good for the next couple of days I will feel really good in my dress Sat night cause it is a bit tight around the middle:rolleyes:

Cookie** DH's mom is watching the kids. They are coming here and staying for the weekend. I know DS will be o.k b/c my FIL will take him outside (where he loves to be) but I just feel bad leaving him on my weekend off. I told DH we could go in on Fri but we had to be back early on Sun. I think we are going to leave as soon as we get up.

Trish** I can't really cut this friend out of my life b/c our DH's own a business together. I did cut her out of my life one time before but she came back:eek: I don't know why she considers me a good friend if she only calls me when she wants something? We are exchanging christmas gifts this year and I really don't know why...we aren't that close but she keeps saying that we are? Confusing:confused: She use to be so down to earth but this town is all about money and who as the most. Fortunatly for her, she married into money and she has gotten worse. They just built thier 3rd house and its huge!

Kim-To be honest...I wouldn't push myself that hard! I mean your doing great why push it? Having a goal is great but what if you don't reach that goal and bet yourself up about it? I just don't want to see you get discouraged if it doesn't happen:(. I remember you saying you didn't care either way so Iam sure you'll be just fine if you don't lose the weigth that fast! Lori-Im so sorry to hear about your DH'es uncle...hes in my prayers! yeah...i thought i would take my workout up a notch today! I noticed that on that week i lost 3lbs I did two intense workouts,so im doing it agian! Maybe the scale will be kind to me! congrats on your scale!

Trish-sorry to hear about your friend! I agree with Lori..those things just happen! There is this friend that i have that ive know for almost 12yrs...we use to talk to each other alteast twice a week! But lately...we rarely talk and she only calls me when she needs somethng or adivice! Im also like'whatever' I haven't even called her and told her about my job...i just don't care too? so I guess what im trying to say is that friendships just come and go....for some reason or another.

workout is done...man im i pooped! I was really pushing myself towards the end of that sucker;) now its time to eat like a horse! Can you guys beleive that MFP has me eating 2300 cals today:eek: But i promise to make it nice a clean food! BBL

Hi Ladies!

I have pretty much decided not to put too much stock n trying to lose the 5lbs/week. If I do that is fantastic, if I don't whatever I lose will be fantastic too. With or w/o dinner with Florine I will be fabulous and lighter! Today was 3+ miles on the treadmill. I was really feeling my whole body, esp. my hamstrings yesterday and today. OUCH!!!

Lori- I did lose 6 pounds exactly on Tuesday! I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. Glad that you and DH will have time to spend w/him this weekend. Have a safe trip. Congrats on the scale being down. Your workouts have always amazed me. How do you have all that energy to do all those workouts and raise two children and work full time?!? W/regard to your "friend" I am a firm believe in teaching people how to treat me. If she only calls when she needs something I would point that out to her.

Cookie- TBL come on NBC at 8pm EST on Tuesday nights. I think I will be fine not meeting that particular goal. It is just something my WW leader mentions each week and I thought, hey that could be a good goal. I totally understand what you mean about turning to salty and sugary comfort when disappointed, I do that too.

Trish- Jari Love is the instuctor for the whole Ripped series of dvds. There are about 5 and the are tough. She is like Cathe in that she used staggered reps and is tough. However, her workouts are more aerobic weight training.

Amelia- sorry to hear about your MIL. That is so sweet of you to help out. Good workout!!!

Belinda- Sounds like some of your stress will be soon be reduced with the new house. I was LOL at your story about your sisters dogs and the little dogs of your neighbors! LOL!!!

Kim** I have full intentions this weekend of bringing up the whole trip to NY thing and not being invited. But she also lie alot so Im sure hwen I say "you invited Amy" she will have a story to go with it....b/c thats what she does. I can really say anything regarding the phone thing b/c I don't phone her either BUT I also don't call her when I am in need of something either.

Im going to get my workout started now. 4DS arms and I have to run hills on the TM...8 I think:eek::eek::mad::confused:

Lori,my next peek at the scale is tommorrow,LOL,but my official WI is on saturdays! I start my new job this saturday! There suppose to call me and let me know what time to come in. Wow,great workout planned!

Ameila**Your toooo funny! I love my inlaws to but everyone needs their space.Since my SIL moved home, they go there first instead of coming here and when they travel they only call her and never us. How weird is that? Last year she was doing alot of traveling for reconstructive surgery and as soon as they would get home, they would come here for supper.This week she was gone into see her brother (DH's uncle) and they didn't even call here and they told my SIL to have supper ready for them when they got home. Maybe she thinks that she is giving us a break? No doubt she feels closer to her own daugther then to me and my mom would probably do the same thing. Im not complaining, just think its strange, nor am I jealous...kind of liking the break actually!:eek:

Workout is complete. Did I not say before that I hate hill training? Yeah well...I still do;):p 15 min warm up, 3 hills @ 10% 7.0/7.5/8.0, 3 hils @ 11% 7.0, 2 hills @ 12% and 6.5...then I ran till I reached 5 miles. Took me just under 46 mins and I also did 4DS arms and abs.

Have to get a shower. DD needs to be dropped off at dance class in 15 mins!:confused:

Just getting home! It's been a long day,

Belinda, any updates on your sister? When I'm stressed, I eat and can't sleep. Not good at all. Sometimes a Tylenol is enough to relax me though to help with sleeping. Take care of yourself.

Kim, are you a kickbox fan also? I love it; it's my fav type of cardio. Lately, tho, it really aggravates my piriformis and bursitis, so my dr has said none. Do you have KPC? I also like Kimberly Spreen's Absolute Kickbox. Spreen's is not as intense as Cathe's, but fun and good. Do you journal your food?

Lori, hope DH's uncle is resting comfortably, and that the visit goes well. You're lucky to have relatives nearby to help out. Yeah, that can be a double-edged sword.

Amelia, isn't BM2 fun? Are you getting anxious about the job?

Just a quick check in before turning out the lights. Today's wo was SB...I love the blast challenge at the end! So much fun!

Amelia - How did you like the BM2 Cardio & Weight premix? I don't think I've done that one before. I don't watch Survivor either :confused: The only show I am somewhat committed to is The Closer. I also catch a few shows on HGTV and TLC on the weekends. Hope Survivor is good for ya!

Lori - I hope you have a safe flight tonight with minimal delays! Yeah, it sounds like you won't be able to get rid of that friend too easily. Well, hopefully she doesn't call you too often. High-Fives on the weight loss:)!! I still haven't purchased a scale, but the next time a Bed Bath Beyond coupon is dropped in my mailbox, I'm buying one! Great job on the hill run and 4DS arms!

Kim - Ah! Jari Love...I've never actually seen any of her workouts, but every time I look at her she looks so darn anorexic. I'm sure it took alot of work for her to get that skinny, but the pictures I've seen of her in magazines are scary:eek: I'm glad you are taking the approach you are taking with your exercise and yes, you will be FABULOUS!

Hi Cookie - Good job on cardio today. Can you believe I still haven't tried RS??? I've had it for about two weeks now...I think it's in my rotation for next week. Can't wait to try it out.

Belinda - I hope your'e holding up ok. Don't let the stress take over your life. I am keeping your sister in my prayers. What day are you moving?

Cookie- Hi Cookie! Yes I LOVE kickboxing. I plan to get a heavy bag for my basement. Hmmm .. wonder where I will put it with the rest of that equipment. I have both Kim Spreen and all of Cathe's kb dvds- KPC, KM, 4DS and Cross Train X. I like Kim Spreen's Cardio Camp and Janis Saffell's kb workouts also.
