I'm up...but slept later than I had wanted so I am going to either use today as my rest day or will try to fit in my workout later this afternoon (after the b-day extravaganza!). I'm dying to try out my new bodymax2 dvd!

so today is suppose to be my free day but since my week hasn't bee 100% great with all thats going on im not going to take a full day off from eating:-(! My sister has invited DH and I out for lunch so that will be my cheat meal for the day! Oh and no workout:-( probably for a while:-( my ankle has a tennis size knot on the side of it...sucksx(

the scale said i was up three lbs still,but its still TTOTM for me-anyway...tommorrow is a new day and i will be losing next week agian:) I plan on putting on my game face after today cheat meal;-)

Im up and ready to start my day. I had a quiet night at work so I didn't need much sleep when i got home. I think while I am waiting for DS to take a nap, I will run to walmart and pick up a couple of things I need:)
I think todays workout will be a circuit workout using DM and my TM.Im also gonna get my abs good!}(

Sara** Have fun at the party! hehe Lots of screaming kids should help you make up your mind if you want any or not! LOL Thats crazy having 3 b-days the one month. Im grummbling b/c I have one in Jan and one in Mar! You will Looooooooooove BM2. Its my favorite workout and the premixes are awesome.

Ameila** How is your ankle? My game face is already on! I am still bloated! I feel awful and I have had 2 days of healthy eating. Damn salads!

I didn't get a chance to write up my rotation yet but Im thinking about doing 2 weeks of circuits before I start with weightlifting again. Should be interesting. Im also going to stagery my cals.

Hi ladies,

Sorry that I didn't get to check in for a while. My internet broke down two days before I left to Germany (which was Wednesday) and now I am trying to get over the jet lag.

So here are my workouts for this week so far:
Mon - IMAX
Tue - MM
Wed - off
Thu - off
Fri - Cardio X
Sat - P90X Chest, Shoulder and Triceps

Tomorrow I will do P90X Legs and Back. P90X is really nice to take with you, because you can do all the exercises with bands and it is a nice change for the muscles as well. So, it's really travel friendly ;-) .

Belinda - Yes, I am in Germany now. It would be fun to meet, but my parents live close to Berlin, so that's kinda far.

Amelia - Oh, so sorry about your ankle, I hope that it'll get better fast.

Sara - Welcome to our check-in!!!!

Lori - How are you? Is your chest better? How is your little man?

Just doing my checkins while I am waiting for DS to take his nap. He isn't to interested in taking a nap just yet and its 1:15!
Ive decided to do the Viper and PH&MM abs. I forgot that I don't have a game to play when on the TM:-( and I don't know if I can stay on there in 10 mins seg....I would be soooo bored;( Bored to tears!;( :)

Kristine** I can only imagine the jet lag you must be feeling! How long of a flight is it? My chest is better now, thanks for asking!!! I went and seen the doc wed night and he gave me a perscription for it. He also gave me 40 of those bad boys for the next time it happens. I only ended up taking 3 and it was gone. These pills are pretty hard on the belly so went the pain felt like it was pretty much gone, I decided not to take anymore. Enjoy your time with your fam!!

Belinda** I gotta workout for you to? Geez women, what do you think I am? hehe

Forgot to tell you guys that my boss finally hired someone yesterday.BUT the girl I just had to switch shifts with his leaving!! So we are still gonna be short.Took him 4 monthes to hire this girl, now we will probably have another 3 monthes on top of that. not only that, its on the opposite side of me so that may mean more OT again. I don't know when he is going to catch on that everyone is leaving b/c he isnt paying us enough. And I heard that he thinks he is paying us plenty!!

Lori, blegh on the extra work!!! Yuck! Sounds like a good workout though and glad you got some good sleep.

Belinda, i've heard Viper is killer.

I slept in and I am doing LIS/shoulders/calves/abs as written from 4DS this morning. I did the cardio and paused to post before I jump into the weights. 66 min. workout, and I wanted to get some moderate cardio and also some heavy weights for today. Haven't weighed in. Will do that later.

Amelia, I'm sure you're retaining some fluid, and with your ankle injury you know you're retaining at least a pound or two there to deal with the inflamation. Hang in there, gal!! I hurt for you!

Well, I'm back from the extravanza! It was fun...but all those kiddies have reminded me how not ready for kids I am myself. I know the bug will hit me eventually...but right now I'm happy with just DH and little Maverick. DH is ADHD so it's almost like having a kid anyways!! haha.

DH and I ran some errands after the party and I picked up some more weights for my BB and some push up bars. I'm excited and can't wait to use the added weights! We're meeting my parents for dinner and then are supposed to meet up with friends for early St. Pat's drinks so it's looking like today will be my rest/cheat day. I'm dying to try bodymax2...so that might be tomorrow's workout.

Nice to meet you Kristine! I just started P90x(minus the diet, in preparation for STS) and was excited to see how easy it would be to travel with it since you can use bands.

Whoa, checking in way late today! It's 3pm here, I have had a busy morning. Today I went for a 3mile run, and I am going to do abs here in a second. I also got my hair highlighted, it badly needed some color!

Not sure who will read tonight, so I will do personals tomorrow!

I'm done with my workout - and my weigh in was 129.5 today. Yes!!!
Finally under that dreaded 130. I may make this 120 goal by April 1 (or probably April 7) after all. I love the way it's going. My clothes are finally fitting better again every day.

Have a great night, everyone! DH and I will go out to eat and then out to a concert. Can't wait. I'll eat clean. Maybe tilapia and some vegetables :)

Sounds like everyone is having a super busy weekend! Phew! Even your post sound rushed and busy!:+

I was sooo not in the mood to workout today. For some reason I had a slight headache and felt really lazy even after 2 coffee. But I made it through. I did my planned workout and hopefully tomorrow will be a long run:)

MC** YES the more the merrier! No one as a specfic date here, just doing it at our own time! We look forward to hearing more about you!

Belinda** Yes, Ive done the Viper a few times. That dvd was expensive but certainly worth the dough, although I don't use it very much.

Carrie** So your beautiful again?;) I can't beleive the grey I am starting to get. Of course you can't see them but when I am bored I will look for them and I can see quit a few. The last time I had my hair done she just used a semi permanant color and I have already found a couple of grey hairs. Oh well..Im sure on my way from 30 to 40 I will see lots ;( ;( ;(

Sara** Thats funny about DH! Chances are if you have kids they will be ADHD as well. Is he hyper? And kids aren't as bad as they appear at b-day parties...trust me!

Cheryl** Woo Hoo...isn't it awesome when you enter a new weight range? Your on fireeeeeeee! Have a good time tonight with DH!

A little bit about me, then...

I'm 27 (will be 28 this summer), former military, and married for 5 years (no kids, but two dogs and two cats!). I was in very good shape (160lbs at 5' 9" and a size 8-10) and a die hard gym rat until about the 2nd-3rd year of my marriage. Due to inactivity (we now have a 140-mile roundtrip commute to work) and bad eating habits that I adopted from DH (he's a rail who eats junk and doesn't gain ANYTHING!) I ended up at a whopping 235lbs this January (even though I've been working out to Cathe on and off for about two years).

So... I'm tired of being fat, unattractive, and unhealthy, so I joined Weight Watchers 8.5 weeks ago, and I've become much more regular with my workouts (currently doing a rotation of 5x per week of cardio/weight intervals). Due to these changes, I've lost 19lbs so far! My ultimate goal is to get down to 170 (a loss of 65lbs), which would be a comfortable weight for me, and see how I feel after that.

So, that's me in a nutshell. :)

My workouts this week have been:

Monday - Boot Camp
Tuesday - Cardio Coach Volume 5 on the treadmill
Wednesday - Cardio & Weights
Thursday - Off
Friday - Low Max
Saturday - Step, Jump, and Pump
Sunday - Off

I'm not sure I'll be able to check in daily, but I look forward to checking in with you ladies at least a few times a week. :)

Welcome MC and congrats on the 19lbs lost so far!! :) Seems we have to same goal in mind,170:) I love WW'ers and would recommend it to anybody thats ready to lose weight! I lost 30pds with them before hitting one of my many plateous,WW'ers really taught me the importance of portions and dietary fiber! Which program are you following,Core or flex?

Sara-Sounds like you had fun at the b-day party:)

Carrie-So,is there any pics of your new highlights?

ok,im just chillin...elevating and icing my ankle every couple of hours. Its feeling a bit better,i may be able to workout come monday:) I plan on making some protein pancakes to freeze and some southwestern chicken soup to freeze as well.

Hey, Amelia, thank you very much for the hearty welcome. :) I, too, am very impressed with WW. There's nothing like having to face a scale every week to help me resist cheesecake! I found that my biggest downfall wasn't eating healthy (I'm well aware of what is healthy and what is not!), it was eating too MUCH of everything. I'm following the Flex Plan right now, but I think once I reach goal and when I'm traveling, the Core Plan will be my choice. I am one of those weirdos that actually likes counting Points... it satisfies the OCD bean-counter in me. :)

I read about your ankle... I really hope you feel better soon!!

MC** I to followed WW's after having my son and it is a very good plan! I knew what I needed to do to lose the extra weight, I just couldn't do it. So I figured that if I chucked out that money, I would follow it and I did. I was back to my prepreg weight at 4 monthes pp. It didn't take long to lose it once I started working out and again and watching my portions. I to would recommand it to anyone and I would follow it again in a heart beat! (if needed;) )

Ameila** Thanks for asking about my sis. Your so sweet! She as been sick, very sick at times, which to us is a good thing! We know that she must be growing a happy and healthy baby if she is sick. She is trying all kinds of things to get rid of the morning sickness. Her and her DH are the kids of people that will sit in front of the computer all day reading stuff and investagating. So she as learned to eat before she gets out of the bed AND to drink milk. So far this is working for her, she still feels icky but she isn't throwing up. She is 7 weeks now. I think she is going to have her ultra sound this week.

I just got some useful info. Talking to my friend who is a nurse and as far as she knows, you get major bloating with the meds I was just taking:) So that, plus all the fiber = my problem! LOL
