Morning girls,

This week I will do the same workouts I did last week w/ BH. Since I have 3 rest days, I will try to add more cardio. I also need to get my eating under control, it's all over the place.

Cookie - to me Bob's workouts compare to Cathe's wo like AT or AB, high reps. What are you doing this week?

Kirstin - thanks for posting your rotation. It looks like a butt kicker! Good job, on KPC. Glad you had fun this weekend.

Debbie - glad your tacos come out good. Foodnetwork has some fantastic recipes.

Hi everyone. Got my workout in early today. . .at least early for me. I did 4DS LIS. Shoulders are fried!!! I have some leg DOMS from Saturday still and tomorrow's workout is supposed to be 4DS KB. . . we shall see.

Belinda- my eating is all over the place too. I blame it on baseball season. With two games a week during the work-week no less, we are getting take out and pizza more and more.

Deb- I cannot believe I watch it either. . . honestly it is the only thing I watch on television on a regular basis (any of the housewives shows).

Cookie- that gem show sounds great. Unfortunately we have my nephew's birthday party and Mother's Day too. It will be a busy weekend for sure. I had a regular baked potato, BTW.

Okay, I am off. I still have more papers to grade tonight.

I did my workout earlier this everning. Almost talked myself out, glad I didn't:D I feel like my arms are falling off:confused: Bob's workouts are high reps! I was sweating buckets, which is good;) Good stuff!

Kristen, it is such a hectic time! Had a meeeting that went til 8, and so just got home a bit ago. Can't imagine correcting papers now.
Deb, I was actually dreaming of your sauce the other day! We were at the rt and you brought some with you! My dh and sons don't like to get rid of things. My dh says I'm unsentimental, but I just prefer to pass things along to someone who can use them. I heard some kids today talking about how poor their parents were with technology. One said "well, what you do expect when they thought a pager was technology."

I did a lot of driving today with my younger DS, he was going to drive part of the way but with the rain, we never switched but it helped me get less grey;) I didn't want to skip a w/o so I just hopped on the TM.

Belinda - The hardest meal for me is figuring out what to eat for lunch, if I'm home I just have leftovers. I always mean to say thank you for starting us off each week.

Kristin - I was just reading an article that said that eating pizza once a week is a good thing for dieting . . . hey sounds good to me:) Ugh, DH told me that one of his friends & gf said I sound like one of the housewives. Maybe I should move South to get a new accent;)

Cookie - Too funny about the sauce, the house still smells of garlic . . . better than when I made fish this week:) Are you going to follow Kristin's May rotation?

Deb, yes, I'm following Kristen's rotation. Glad you got a not as many grey hairs. Where were you driving to? I rained here today and traffic was horrible.
Did 4ds kb. It is out of order from the rotation, but it was calling to me. Honest.

Evening all! Tonight's workout was 4DS BC. Leg DOMs are still lingering, lol. Counting down the days to summer. The boys are so excited about going to Florida. My younger DS put on his Mickey Mouse ears and was pretending to go on the plane. He is so cute.

Cookie- I'm loving the rotation myself. It has been a while since doing 4DS and it is such a great series. I really needed to up the cardio after doing STS and between FF's rotation last month and this I am getting good results (perfect timing with bathing suit season creeping up). I am finding the cardio also helps relieve stress a bit more then when I was doing STS.

Deb- pizza once a week is good? That is the kind of news I like to hear. Before finding Cathe and trying to lose weight, before even having kids, DH and I would eat pizza 3 times a week, no joke. With baseball season it is about 1-2 times a week. We have been doing other takeout as well though.

Belinda- it is a great feeling to finish a workout when you really had to push yourself to do it. I find I always feel better doing it then when I decide not to.

Tomorrow is Wednesday!!!

Hi,

I did B&G tonight & it felt extra hard. I think I have more energy & endurance in the AM. My niece has court tomorrow for the incident with the girls, apparently only 2 are being charged & another one will be testifying against them (the other 2 weren't as involved:confused:). I'm sure she'll be strong but still worried about her.

Belinda - I hope you had a nice day.

Cookie - I don't mind the rain but too much traffic today:mad: We actually were driving to Penn State. I need to get some KB in this week, great job:)

Kristin - It's funny how the anticipation before a trip is so exciting, it helps make the time fly. If my memory is right I think you could still easily get away with pizza 3x a week;)

Yesterday I did BH Body Rev. Today was a rest day, but I went for a run instead. I did iTread Set 1/ 60 min. Halfway through my run it started to rain HARD, I got soaked!

Cookie - I bought Bob's workouts on this website:
www.mytrainerbob.com. They are only $5 each;) Good job, on 4 DSKB.

Debbie - I feel the same way! I have more engery in the AM. Now I have to get my workouts in whenever I have time. Good job, on B&G. Haven't done that one in a long time.

Kirstin - nice going on your workout last night. DH and I will going to Florida in a few month. Can't wait! Are you gonna order Cathe's new workouts?? I am still on the fence:eek:

It's quiet here today, I took a yoga class today wanted to squeeze something else in but ran out of time:) Is it Friday yet;)

Belinda - I hope it was a warm rain, you probably couldn't tell what was rain & what was sweat LOL. I've been meaning to check out which itrains I have . . . I think they are mostly iballet.

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday was a crazy day and I never did get in my workout. :( SO I am making that my rest day. Today I will do 4DS HIS. DH is working late, so I will have to do it after getting my little guys down, which is hard, but I'll manage.

Cookie- had a meeting about APPR yesterday. My head is spinning. How a principal is supposed to do this for every teacher, as well as all of her/his other administrative duties is beyond me. They were saying that test results may come in July and so when we get our Year End Evaluation, it won't include the whole evaluation because the test results will not be in. I just think it is all so crazy and EXPENSIVE.

Belinda- I am still on the fence as well. I just want to know more. Maybe when I see the pics? When are you planning on going to Florida? I am hoping that because we are going in June the lines will be shorter than usual, lol. It was crazy when we went last April.

Deb- I want to take a yoga class! I have to find a good yoga place. Maybe this summer. . .

Okay, enough wasting time. I have to get going here.

'Morning! Internet was working last night, probably because of the rain, so I couldn't check in.
Belinda, I'll have to check out that site more. I was on it two days ago, but then the satellite stopped receiving a signal! $5 and similar to Cathe's level appeals to me. Are they low-impact by any chance?
Kristin, sorry I keep putting an e in your name! I work with a few teachers with your name and keep goofing up the spellings. I am so sorry. The one I send communicate a lot from home is spelled with two i's. Anyway, I have an all-day meeting today re APPR and another one on Monday! It is a great example of an unfunded mandate eating away at budgets! It is overwhelming for everyone. I preordered, but really hope the modifier shows low impact - that's what I need these days.
Deb, that's amazing - yesterday I thought of your niece when I heard of a similar incident here. Hope she's doing okay. Guess your son was going there to support her - how caring. See how well you raised them. Are we roomies again?
Did LIS and wts from 4dsBC. My sciatica is bothering me, so there is no way I could do boot camp! Alright, off to earn some money!

Finally got my workout in:rolleyes: I did BH Yoga for the Worrior. Tomorrow is a scheduled rest day, but I will try to get a cardio workout in. I also walked with my DH (his PT) for almost 2 miles, the dogs liked too:D

Heidi - sorry about your internet connection! Hope you have time to check out Bob's website this weekend. They are definatly worth the money;) and he has a modifier in all this DVDs;) Hope you feel better, don't overdue it. Good job, on your workouts.

Kirstin - did you get your workout in today? I love 4DS HIS! It's my fav step wo;) Hope Cathe will post more info on the new workouts. Although, I have enough DVD to keep my busy for a very long time. Need to work on all my other dvds first, before I buy anymore. Not sure, when we go to Florida? It all depends on DH recovery:eek: he still is walking on cratches. I don't think anytime soon:confused:

Debbie - lol, it was rain:p wished it would have been sweat:eek: it was pouring outside, just couldn't stop in the middle of a run...plus had to run home:eek: did you take a yoga class? How do you like iballet? Don't have any iballet. They sound like fun. I do like iTreads or iClimb workouts.

Kristin, omg there is so much to do with this appr business! I now have two meetings every week on it! TG for workouts to ease the stress.
Deb, there was an article in the paper today about people working out more at home now, but how some wo in a gym plus home. It made me curious is it about l/2 half at gym and the other half at home, or what?
I'm yawning like the Grand Canyon! Sleep well.

Hello everyone. 4Ds HIS done! I am loving my rotation. Tomorrow was supposed to be a rest day or yoga, but because I took yesterday off, I will do 4DS KB tomorrow. So happy that this week went by faster than last week. There are only 20 days left of classes before we begin final exams! I'll be in Florida before you know it :)

Cookie- I wonder how the state education department would feel if they found out teachers were evaluating their students papers and work without telling the students what the criteria and points value are. . . No one seems to know what percentage of students need to show growth to be considered effective. I have two students who have lost credit due to excessive absences (one missed 32 days, the other 65 and counting). Yet, they are on my rosters. I was toldby my director their scores would count. How is that fair? I guess I am not doing my job because I am nitpicking them up and taking them to school in the morning. It must be my fault. Everything else is!

Belinda- I saw on Facebook that Cathe posted that they are in rehearsal stage. The workouts sound interesting. Still need to think it over. I don't think the preorder deal is all that good. If I want until the video clips, at least I know what I will be getting.

Hi,

I walked on the TM tonight. I worked late today to have tomorrow off, but I already have too much to do. I brought my car in for an oil change the other day & my transmission fluid maybe leaking so they told me to watch it & deciding if I should go to yoga class or get my car fixed 1st:confused:

Belinda - Wow, that is amazing that DH is walking 2 miles already. The iballets are ok but you need to check the computer to see if you are doing the moves correctly so I rather just do a DVD.

Cookie - I wonder what the % is because I don't know very many people that workout at home except Cathletes. Of course we can be roomies, it's on my to do list to book it.

Kristin - Around here it seems like all kinds of specialized gyms are popping up like PT, kickboxing, jazzersize, boxing, spinning, ballet, pilates, hot yoga & yoga. You should shop around for a good priced yoga class because there are so many variations in prices around here. We just visited DH's friends new gym which ia specifically for hockey training it was really cool.

Kristin, we'd be raked over the coals if students were treated this way. The local newspaper had a cartoon where SED was given given detention for its poor assessments. I'm enjoying your rotation. Thanks again for creating and sharing it.
Deb, TG! I honestly look forward all year to seeing you. Did you get your car fixed? The hockey specialty gym sounds interesting. My boys went to one when they were playing. And it was constantly filled with students rotating in and out!
Have to run, son just came home with girl friend so I have to go be pleasant. Not all that easy when I just want to sit on the couch. Oh well.

Evening. I came home from work and worked out because I knew I would be too tired to workout after DS's baseball. I did 4DS KB. I am loving all the cardio ;).

I am counting down the days to summer!

Deb- definitely going to shop around once I come back from Florida. I like Cathe's yoga DVDs, but I think I would benefit from taking a small class. Did you go to class or get your car fixed? I would have opted to get the car fixed. . . But I am paranoid about being stuck on the road. . . Probably from driving sh&tkickers up until I was 25, lol.

Cookie- I am glad you like the rotation. I am enjoying it too. I really needed to up my cardio to get the last few winter pounds off and it is working so far. I am happy this upcoming week I scheduled a lot of LIS series workouts because I am missing them, lol.

Belinda- how is DH? Hope all is well with his recovery.

Hi,

Ugh, this is not the day off I would dream of. I'm making today a rest day, since I didn't have time for a w/o.

I decided to bring my car for service because I was nervous about driving with the leak. The service station was so crowded, they don't know where the leak is coming from so they put a UV dye in & want me to come back next week. I came home & had enough time to down 1 meatball for lunch, needed to go to meeting with DH the rest of the day.

We came home for a few minutes & rushed out to meet my SIL & nieces & nephews to go out to a last minute dinner because one of my nephews is in from Tennessee. It was a lot of fun but now I am ready to fall into bed.

Belinda - Any plans for Mother's Day? Did DD move in yet?

Kristin - Not too happy that they can't find the leak but at least with the UV dye they can pinpoint it. It must have been cold at the baseball game tonight.

Cookie - It must be nice that your ds & gf came home but I agree on a Friday night it must be tough to make coversation . . . tomorrow morning you'll be more awake;)
