Good morning Ladies!!!
Today I am up for my 6 a.m. spinning class! The rumor at my work is that they usually send us home around noon on Good Friday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a half day.
Yesterday's workout was IMAX 3 and I'm happy to report that despite how bad the dvd case looked...the actual dvd worked fine! I did meet up with friends after work to run and it was great. Because of winter, I had forgotten how much I LOVE running outside. As I predicted we didn't get to run as much as I would have liked because of my one friend who is pretty new to running, but it was still fun. It was sunny yesterday so I think my body really enjoyed being out in the nice weather. It really lifted my spirits!
Kristine-how was your swimming workout? Power swimming sounds like it'd be fun!
Lori-how'd the sleepover go? And yes, I defitely want to hear about how changing your routine up this month affects that scale. I wish I knew how some people get so toned AND get the scale to move downward. I hate the idea of chosing one over the other (heavy lifting vs. running/cardio). I figure if I start getting too bulky by the time I'm done with this P90x stuff...I'll be going back to lots of running too! I always feel "slimmer" when I'm running a lot.
Amelia-LOL,I have gone a bit nuts with purchasing Cathe videos lately. But I just wanted to get a little collection going. I really do need to cool it for awhile though. I think after LIC arrives, I'll call it quits for a bit. I don't know how much I'd use B&G because I don't usually enjoy lower body workouts so I'll probably hold off on that one for a bit. I feel like my lower body gets a lot of work just from my weekly cardio activities. I do have a facebook account...does Cathe have a group on there?
