Good morning,

Thanks guys! DH and I had an amazing day yesterday. We didn't get home until 10 pm:p

Today I will go to the gym, work off some cal.:p We had a 5 cours meal last night;) It was so good.

I will catch up on personals later! Have a great and clean day!

Good Morning!

Its beginning to look alot like Christmas...lalalalalala.......its snowing here. It finally stopped raining! But its also blowing a gale out there so I will be surprised if our siding stays on!

Yesterdays workoue was MIS UB and BM2 abs in the a.m. Last night I did a 4.5 mile run on the TM has well. I couldn't fit it all in yesterday morning with DS around. Yesterday afternoon we went out and did a few things. I picked up a nice pair of boots from Sears that I had ordered in. I really like them and they were only $40, can't go wrong there. Last night DD and I went out and did a few things and I picked up a few more Christmas presents, so I am getting there. I need to start doing things by "families" so I can clue up each family.

Im thinking about doing a circuit with the TM today, even though I did UB yesterday. I don't feel sore though and I use lighter weights with those circuits anyway.

Belinda** Glad to hear you and DH had a great day! Thats awesome! You don't see many people married for that long anymore. Times have changed and its so easy to get out of a marriage instead of working it out through the tough times. My mom and dad have been married for over 40 yrs now. Crazy!!!

Ameila** How was your day yesterday? Are you tired from chasing the little one around?

Iris** Where have you disappeared to???

Helene** Hmmmm...a timesaver rotation, interesting? Have you been using the Insanity dvds? I have actually been enjoying them lately. Im not sure whats gotten into me.

Deb** My mom called yesterday and our next door neighbour had a heart attack yesterday morning. We only ever lived in one house and so did they. He is 72, I think. I think he will be o.k as far as I know. Scary stuff, thats forsure. Did you get a run in last night?

Cookie** I know...shory post! LOL When DS is around I have to make it short and sweet sometimes. The computer is upstairs and he wants to be downstairs and Im not sure whats going on with the wireless in this house!

Trish** Are you feeling any better today? How about the girls? Its not nice when the little ones are sick. There are no low impact moves in Insanity. Alot of plyometrics and things like that.

It took DS forever to get to sleep last night so I don't think he will be interupting my workout this a.m. Also, DD came into our room at 5:45 and wanted to get in bed with us:eek: She didn't say she had a headache or anything so I asked what was wrong and she started to cry. Apparently she had a dream about our dog that died a few monthes ago. Prehaps now she will pay more attention to the dog that is still with us.

O.k...bbl!
Lori:)

Good Morning Ladies

Been MIA for a few days, but I've been taking a time out while mom was in the hospital (but I did get some workouts in). She came home yesterday from and is feeling much better. I'm so glad she's home! Thank you all for your well wishes (as ususal) :) On Monday I did PS Legs/Abs, yesterday did PS CST, and today will be a short run and stretch ( I haven't been doing yoga at night like I was doing regularly). I've been so drained of energy every single night and have a hard hard time getting out of bed in the morning too. *sigh* I hope I snap out of it soon. OH and Sunday night I put up the tree.....only because I had to, not that I got any joy out of it this year :( The top third of it the lights aren't working (it's a pre-lit tree) so I strung the poinsettia lights from avon on it and suprisingly it looks just fine!

Belinda- Happy Belated Anniversary!! I'm glad you enjoyed your day :)

Amelia- How was your rest day??

Lori- OHhhhh what boots?? I saw some at Sears 2 weeks ago I really really liked (they were also $40)...and I almost broke down and bought them.....

Deb- I'm so glad that woman is doing ok!! You're right about being in the minority as far as leading ( or trying to lead) a healthy lifestyle....

Trish- I'm sorry you were so sick!!! I hope you can get back on routine today...=) What is an e-reader??

Helene- I hear you on there not being enough hours in the day!!!:confused: GRrrrrrrrrrrrr...and not enough energy IN those hours...lol

Cookie- You live all the way out there by vT? Do you live in Renss. county?? That's a hell of a hike into the city every day.

Ok all I have a double today....wonderful.....BBL

Morning

Today i plan on doing some cardio then some weights, haven't got a clue what im doing yet...bbl with personals and my workout report.

Hi girls,

I couldn't workout last night. I was so behind on my computer work, at midnight at the end of the month we lose service calls we don't submit. I was racing against the clock but still lost a few calls. I'm hoping my boss will extend the deadline:confused: This is the 1st time for me but other people always miss it so they were gettting strict this month and saying no extensions, ugh!!

Taking today off to take MIL Christmas shopping also going to the cemetary with my Mom for stepdad's passing anniversary. I hoping to squeeze in a run.

Belinda - Sounds like you had an amazing day:) Have fun at the gym.

Lori - Looks llike you had a really good workout yesterday.

Iris - The one bad thing about the holidays there' so many expectations and when life isn't going too well it's so hard. Way to stay positive and get your workouts in:)

Amelia - Have fun with whatever workout you choose:) I usually send out a Christmas picture of the boys and my dog. I think the boys are too old but I have a feeling it may be my dog's last year:confused:

Helene - I took a look at the December rotation it looks like a good one. I'm tempted but I have a feeling getting workouts in is going to be hard for me the next 3 weeks.

Trish - I have been eyeing the kindle too. My SIL has one and loves it. I hope you and the girls are feeling better.

Cookie - They say red cars are more likely to get speeding tickets:eek: so maybe the black car is a better choice. The same here my car has more scratches and dings from parking in lots:(

Have a great day everyone!

workout done, decided on 4ds kb then biceps and back.

Hey to everyone...ive got to get off the computer and get some house work done. I will catch up with y'all later:)

'Evening!
Belinda, glad you had such a good time yesterday. So what was in those five courses? Can you tell I love food?
Amelia, I'll send you my address. I think it is a great idea. How's your niece?
Lori, sorry you had so many in the bed this morning. That song there were five in the bed and one rolled over ... went thru my head reading your post.
Iris, glad your mom is home. We'll still keep both you and she in our thoughts and prayers. Being around a hospital is absolutely exhausting - it is just so draining. No wonder you're tired. Excellent job getting in your workouts. That must help with the stress. Southern Washington County - Grandma Moses country. You may have read about her in an art history book.
Deb, don't you hate working like that under a time deadline? Sorry you had to do it. Is it still a hard day for you and your mom? We do a family calendar, and the kids all count to compare how many times each one of them is in compared to the others, and then they move on to counting dog pictures. We tried taking one of the three dogs the other day, but it was impossible to get them all in sit and somewhat facing the camera. One always had their back to it.
Trish, are you still going to the gym during your lunch hours?
Did PUB this morning. Love that one. Thought I would have had doms by now, but not yet.
Sleep well.
Cookie
Helene, is today your long day at work?

Evening girls,

Late check in for me. This may actually become a regular for me as my firm is cracking down on internet activity;) Anyways, still not feeling too fabulous today so no wo to report. Fingers crossed that things will change tomorrow. My poor little Olivia is suffering, too. I will need to keep her out of school again tomorrow. One bit of good news I received today is that my shoulder is doing really well and next week will probably be my last PT visit:) I will just have to pace myself and ease my way back up to the heavy weights. Push-ups aggravate it also, so the therapist suggested using perfect push-ups (or doing them on fists) since the position is better for the shoulder and the wrist (extra bonus!). I think I'll try the fists first;)

Belinda - Your day out with DH sounded like fun. Congrats again on the milestone!

Lori - DD just asked about snow this evening. I am not looking forward to it one bit!How did your TM circuit go? I've been thinking of doing the same thing with one of Cathe's DVDs to skip the step portion. Do you just make up your own routine or follow a DVD?

Iris - I'm SOOOO glad your mom is home!! I'm sure that puts your mind at ease. Hang in there with the workouts. It's not easy dealing with so much and trying to keep up with your normal routine. Oh, an e-reader is an electronic device that lets you download electronic versions of books, newspapers, etc. I became interested in them because one book in particular, Harry Potter #7, has been sitting on my nightstand for months and the only time I have to read is on the train, but the darn thing is just too heavy to drag back and forth every day. An e-reader would make it much easier to manage. The most popular one is the Kindle by Amazon.

Amelia - Count me in. I'll forward my address tomorrow.

Deb - Don't keep us in suspense. Did you get the extension? I think I will get the Kindle. Will let you know how I like it.

Cookie - I am still running to the gym during lunch on days that I don't have PT.

Have to run. DH wants to turn out the light. Helene, hope you had a good day.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Hallo,

I was so pissed at the gym today, I started CCV7 3 times. There is a door right next to the TC in the gym. I understand when the gym has to move stuff in and out, but they decided to leave the door open for close to 30 min moving stuff in and out. The temperature drop(30 -35 degrees) the last few days, I was sweating like crazy 10 min. into my workout, so I ask the gym manager (he was so rude to me)if they can move the mats outside instead leaving the door wide open (they had the mats holding the door open, WTH!). They all wore winter jackets and I was working out sweaty and freezing at the same time. I couldn’t take it anymore and ask the manager if they could move the card with all the mats outside and close the door. Well, the gym stuff didn’t like that idea, they argued with me. I had the a$$! I was freezing, I don’t dress in the gym for outdoors, I dress for indoors! I got off the TC, went to a phone and called my DH, explained to him what happened (that same thing happened a few weeks ago too). I went upstairs and waited and timed them until they closed the door. It took them close to 30 min. After they closed the door I went back downstairs for the second time, went on the TC. Ten min. into my workout, my DH and the big boss who runs of all the gyms on base are standing right next to me. So I had to stop again and explained to him what happened. Got off the TC again, explained to him what happened and also showed him the other TC that wasn’t working for over a month. What really pissed me off, the manager got so rude! The big boss agreed with me that the door shouldn’t kept open, not when people work out. The funny part is the gym manager knows my DH for over 28 years and he know me too! Not sure what happened? He is not gonna talk to me like this again.
