Good morning,


My workout for today is M2 disc 14, legs:rolleyes: My legs are still sore, I still don't feel my UB! LOL! I never got my ab workout in, didn't had it in me.
I will do it today:p

I am just finshed M2 disc 14 (legs);) I like it! LOL!

I also did the extended stretch, my legs are tight! I still need to get a ab workout in today.

Im in for a rough day...I can tell already! He is B-A-D!

Suppose to be going for a run today, even though today is suppose to be interval day. Im guessing tomorrows run will be on the TM or I will have to do hills and intervals over the weekend.

Belinda** Good job with your workout! Im looking forward to the next round of legs...which is suppose to be today but I doubt I will get around to it.

Helene** Im not sure where I get my energy. Perhaps someday I will crash! hehe! Its funny that you should say that about the running shoes. My DH owns a sporting goods store. I bought a new pair of sneaks a couple of monthes ago, they got wet, so he brought me home another pair. Then the other day he told me that he ordered in the best sneakers Asics sell. They retail for $240:eek: Its a good thing I get them for cost b/c I would never buy a pair of sneaks that expensive. Anyway, they are still sitting there in the box b/c I know once I wear them I won't put the other pair on again and they are only a month old! I will probably start wearing them a couple of weeks before my race to break them in.....

I think that catches me up with personals!!

Unforntunately it's back to work today....dang I can't wait until Saratoga is OVER..even though the money is good it's exhaussting...
I'm up extra early to do Body Max (what am I thinking?) I'm thinking I'd really like to go to Daytona and am actually considering it. I need a vacation.......a REAL vacation. And something to work for (something I can't get out of)...like the audition...:eek:

Belinda- Great job w/ Legs today!! Girl, seems like you have the DOMS that never end! lol

Lori- I hope you get your run in. I just dont know how you do it.......

Helene- That is so weird about the "o" on your keyboard....because I am having to use my wireless one from my pc on my laptop for the same reason! How did you fix it? Well you and cookie work and live north, south, east, west...and I work right in the armpit of it all...:eek: I like where I live though, very central to everything I do!

Cookie- Hope everything is well with you! What oral surgery are you having done??? I read that somewhere....I don't know how i missed that!

Trish- I would definitely wait for NY if they came here, but there's part of me that really just wants to trave and get outta here for a couple of days. And I wouldn't make it 1/2 mile on the real ground either...lol I don't know if I"ll ever run on pavement again......

Today is Shoulders/arms/abb ripper. Ive had stomach ache for last two days now, it Sooooooo annoying. Im thinkin it has something to do with my protein increase on monday. Its started monday....im going to lower my protein a tad today and see if it helps any. It could be my designer whey protein:rolleyes:...who knows? I wish it would go away:mad:

Lori, you just are wired for energy. Perhaps you should have another toddler around to tire you out a bit! Really nice of your DH to get you those sneakers - very supportive of him.
Iris, go for it!!! You do need a vacation and I'll already rooting for you to be chosen. Plus, what an experience. I should go check again to see when your appearance will be. Grand Canyon is the real motivator for me to go to my sister's wedding in Vegas! Bad to admit it, I know, but I'd love to see it and Vegas doesn't interest me. Just have a lot of opportunities to spend money this year. A son, sister and niece are all getting married within a few months of each other, another son is moving to Asia and another to Mexico. So I want to use them as an excuse to travel. Now if I can figure out a way to afford these opps...
Trish, the kittens are cute. Don't be hard on yourself. You have three kids, work full time outside of the house, have a lengthy commute, and are a wonderful dil. Glad you check in, it doesn't matter if you didn't get your wo in. Is your DD18 in hs or college or out in the world?
Amelia, I love plyo!!! It's such a rush, and those 180 squats are one of my favs. Yeah, I know, I'm crazy. Glad you're having such a great time with the workouts. Bet your clothes are fitting better already. How are your sister and niece doing?
Deb, are you back from FL yet? How did it go? Hope you are all relaxed and your back better.
Helene, guess we have the region covered. About two months ago, there was a thread where people said where they were from, and someone posted Troy. I pm'd her, but never heard back. As above to Amelia, I really enjoy plyo, and am really looking forward to the sts cardio one of it.
Today's the day my new bed arrives!!! Moved furniture and cleaned rugs last night in anticipation. I can't wait to tell you how good a sleep I have on it. Have to work from home today 'cause of the delivery. But plan on getting in an interval workout, some cleaning, shower and wedding prep things also. Can't believe it will be over in 10 days.

Going to the gym to spin, seeing how much damage there is to my car and going to work:( Feel like I could just stay home and cry all day.

Hey Girls!

Workouts complete for the day. Before going for my run I did disc 28...I think...2nd chest and back workout for this cycle anyway. It was a good workout. I went as heavy as I could with no help. It would be a lot easier if DH were home and he could assist me. Anyway, we will see how much DOMS I get tomorrow. We also went for a 12 km run.

Iris** Im gonna need a good vaca to!Work is driving me a little bit b/c there is only 2 of us left. It probably won't be so bad once the summer is over and we aren't covering each others shifts b/c of weddings and so on.

Ameila** I get a bad belly after dinner all the time. Not really bad but that stuffed feeling, even though I didn't eat that much. I hate feeling like that. Sometimes I think it as something to do with TTOM...which is always fast approaching~ How are you enjoying P90X so far?

Deb** So sorry to hear about what you had to come home and face! You must be soooo rotted! I know I would be. A good workout always makes us feel better though.

I will bb once I settle in at work.

Lori, glad your day turned out better. You did a run and disc 28, you go girl! You don’t have a squat rack, hah? That would definatly help! BTW, very impressive your 15% incline run. Hope your workload is getting lighter, so you can relax a little bit more.

Iris, if you have the money go for it! Good luck, on your decision. How did you like BM?

Amelia, nice job on your Shoulders/arms/abb ripper wo.

Cookie, all my DOMS are from STS! LOL! I am using my nose rinse a few times a day, that seems to help. How is your new bed? Hope you get a good night sleep. Holy smokes, your kids are spread out! Nice way to get a few vacations in. I am sure with all that cleaning, you burned lots of cal. Have fun with your workout.

Helene, how you like your new workout stuff? Enjoy!

Trish, don’t bet yourself up, you have a lot going on. Just jump on that workout wagon when you can.

Belinda- LOL now that I know Lori has help in the form of a DH providing her with new running shoes, you chances of catching her have gotten a bit slimmer. wtg on the legs!

Deb- Welcome back. Sorry about your car. But maybe we can look at this from a positive angle (sorry, I haven't been around this thread long enough to know what your DS is like): he didn't call you during your vacation and ruin it (or maybe he did :eek:) but most importantly, it sounds like he didn't get hurt. And, think of all the responsability lessons you are going to get out of this one! Besides, I think now he owes you big time! I hope that the wo got you going for the rest of the day.

Lori- Wow, your own private supply of snazy running shoes. That's awesome. I hope your work does slow down because it doesn't sound like you are not having much fun recently. At least for now the weather is nice enough you can keep running outside. wtg on disc 28 and the run.

Iris- I think vacas are the second best think to retirement (except that I'm too far from the later). I have a vacation to FL comming at the end of September during my break week between Meso 1 & 2. I can't wait. The light cardio rest week should be taken care of by walking all over Disney with DH, DS and DD. Enjoy the end of the season. And I still can't stop laughing about you describing living in the armpit! As for the "o" on my keyboard, I took the key out, blew on the stuff underneath really well (best would have been a can of compressed air), moved the parts I could to make sure everything was clean and even brushed it with a little brush I had. Popped the key back on and voila! Actually, I was relieved that it seems it was just caught with dirt somehow. If it's the sensors underneath, you are stuck using a wireless/usb keyboard as you are or getting the whole keyboard replaced which is prohibitive on an old laptop unless it is still under waranty.

Amelia- Ooooh, 180 squats, now that is something to think about. I love leg days. I'm hoping for those shapely thighs by the end of STS. Nice job on shoulders and abb ripper.

Cookie- I wonder if the Troy person is my friend who clued me in to Cathe at work years ago. She's quite a fan as well and I think this was her third RT! But yeah, I think we got the area covered which is really funny considering that the thread covers the rest of the world a bit. I see one of your DS is moving to Asia. I have two brothers there. Where is he moving to?

OK, I have to go back to work..... I didn't have time to do Disc 8 this morn, I am hoping to do it tonight or tomorrow morning. I got CTX yesterday though and previewed Meaner legs (thanks Belinda) last night. I noticed it was short without the ab segment so I did that instead this morning without the calf wo part since mine is still a bit weird and I want to make sure I don't stress it out. And then, OMG I actually did an ab wo. :eek: Everything is possible. I did the medicine ball STS segment which was only 10 mns. So that worked well.

Afternoon Ladies,

After making dinner last night I went to my MIL's house to change the bandages around her drain and 'milk' them as well (sounds yucky and it is kinda:eek:). Got home by 9:30 and was in the bed by 10:00 expecting to wake up with a burst of energy! Needless to say, that didn't happen! Can you believe @ 2:30 AM DH wakes me up to ask if I'm hot????? WTH!!! I couldn't go back to sleep (DH was asleep in 5 mins). So I got up @ 3:00 AM to do D21, Back and Biceps while the kitties watched. I decided to use my lat pull-down machine for the chin/pull-ups and boy did I feel it! I'm hoping for good DOMs tomorrow. Oh, and I also have sore abs from No Equipment Abs from yesterday morning. I rarely have sore abs...guess its the 3 weeks that I took off from the doing them:eek:

Belinda - Don't you love M2 leg workouts??? I can't wait to see how I will like M3. I will be doing the squat rack option. Maybe I'll preview the plyo workouts and see if there's anything at all I can do in there.

Lori - I forgot DH owns a sporting good store...how cool is that!! How do you refrain from getting one of EVERYTHING...LOL! So, DS was kind enough to let you get not one, but two wos in!! What a sweetheart:p

Iris - Sounds like Daytona is perfect timing for you. You should really go for it..you never know. You could be the ONE:)

Amelia - Hope your tummy is feeling better. Which protein did you try? ^5s on knocking out another P90 wo and great cal burn.

Cookie - Hey there! Guess what?? My YogaFit: PilatesFit II: Total Core Control dvd arrives today. Can't wait to try it. My DD is 19, in college and living with us. Some days she is a tremendous help and others...not so much. Really a lovely girl when she wants to be. Can't wait to hear about the new bed!

Deb - Welcome back! Sorry you had to come back to bad news . How bad is the damage? Is it repairable? My heart is in my throat every time DD takes my car out on the road. Glad the exercise helped relieve some stress.

Helene - ^5s on Meaner legs and med ball abs this mornig:cool: How did you like the leg wo? It is one of the dvds I have yet to buy.

Its o.k that I wanted to come to work tonight;) but DS cried to beak his heart. He doesn't normally act like that but he clug on to me and wouldn't let go:( I didn't want to go to work of course, but have no choice and I knew that once I was out of sight he would be o.k. Poor thing, he only acts like that when he is getting sick...I hope he isn't!!!

Belinda** Good job with those weights! Woo Hoo! I do need a squat rack, I could lift alot heavier if I had some assistance. Maybe the next time I do a STS rotation I will buy a rack.

Ameila** Do you like yoga? I only made it through 30 mins of P90X yoga...it was waaaay to long and alot of the same 'ole, same 'ole. Hopefully you will enjoy it more then I did. I do need to get some 10 mins yoga dvds or something. I don't stretch often enough.

Helene** I love, love,love CTX! It is my favorite UB workout ( I think) although, I enjoy the GS series as well. You will have some NICE DOMS after you do these workouts. The cardios are short and sweet as well.

Trish** Yep...your right...changing bandages and milking stuff sounds gross and I was eating my dinner when I read that:eek::p I can't beleive you can get up and function that hour in the morning. What time will you go to bed?

Belinda, those are incredible weights! Wow! Maybe you should also start checking in with the Hardcore group. Of course, you still have to stay here. 91#. I'm amazed.
Lori, now I'm thinking I should get a squat rack too. My youngest sister used to cry everyday when my mother left her at day care, and my mom was always upset by it. Turns out it was an act my sister put on, and once mom was out of the driveway, she was fine. Come to think of it, that sister still is an actress!
Iris, when's your flight? You must be whipped between work and Body Max! Hope you get a good night's sleep. How much longer for the track?
Amelia, hope the tummy is doing better. My stomach is sensitive to changes. Ate some grapes this evening, and just that has caused it to go crazy. We're just more delicate than people realize. My family dies when I say that.
Trish, could you talk to my future DILs on how to treat a MIL? Honestly, you area wonderful person. My DH does those same stupid things and then can't figure out why I'm tired and didn't just go back to sleep. Hope you sleep well and don't have doms from today's sts. Way to go with getting it done! I'm doing that yoga dvd on Friday - I'll be thinking of you. Let me know what you think of it. I have a code for purchasing if you want it.
Deb, I'm so sorry to hear about your car. I've been thinking of you and wondering how things were going. Actually almost called you today but couldn't find your number. Glad he wasn't injured. Working out always helps my stress level.
Helene, didn't notice anyone else in the Who's Who book with an address from around here. Please ask her if she did go, it would be funny to realize we were so close and not know each other yet live in the same region. What goodies have you been getting?
Well, off to sleep in my huge new bed! It's not only big, it's high. Comes up to about my hip - not sure I like that, but I sure do like how big it is. Hoping it is good for my sore joints too. Did MM yesterday and pulled out a dvd today thinking it was intervals, only it was circuits. Did it anyway and now my shoulder has been yelling at me all day. Sleep well.

Cookie - I just watched the dvd. There are definitely some challenging moves. Can't wait to try it out. Not sure when yet but soon;) I just gave DH a talking to about his bad behavior last night:mad: Hopefully, he will be better behaved tonight:p Surprisingly, I wasn't tired yet, but I can feel it coming on now. Hope your shoulder is better tomorrow and after a good night's rest in that big ol' comfy bed:D
