Belinda, I'm impressed how you are still getting your workouts in with your family visiting. Where is CZ, where you went to dinner?
Amelia, I think it is a gardenia, but whatever it is the flower is beautiful. I have a hard time with a move in AS also, but a different one. Can't remember what she calls it but you cross on the step with one leg over the other. For some reason, my right knee always bothers me on it.
Lori, good idea to do the gym in dh store. Is it like a separate room there or what?
Helene, gee, talk about a revolving door of visitors! How do you manage it? Even Tosca couldn't eat clean with so many in and out.
Iris, are you feeling better? Will we be reading about this d from the date soon? Hope you had a good time.
Melissa, Jem! Good idea. We have college tours tomorrow and next Friday on the calendar for our dd. She really doesn't know what she wants to do and the tours all sound the same to me after doing them for so many years with the boys. We do a real tree, but keep it in a room we don't heat that much so it can stay up til Three Kings Day. A second smaller real one goes in the family room. Last year the kids put the decorations they made in their early years on it. When they were little, they would decorate pine boughs in vases in their rooms. Did you notice I said they did: when they aren't here, a lot less decorating gets done, 'cause I don't like the clean up and put away!
Trish, sorry you're having drama at work. Do you think it is the stress everyone seems to be feeling? It is almost overwhelming at my work also. How's the phone working?

Deb, how's the weather there? Supposed to be good here with Indian Summer next week. After freezing this week, I'm looking forward to it. Especially Monday night when dd has a soccer game at 6 pm. Already told exchange student to get some silk long underwear to wear for it. Because it is inevitable they will go to the mall again at some point this weekend!
Have a workshop to do today, so have to finish up getting ready for it. My head is so clogged up, it is pounding. Hoping to get a wo in this afternoon. Yesterday was double wave - love it.

Morning ladies! sorry I have been MIA these last two days. i had to get caught up on my grading. I always make goals every year as a teacher. this year my goal was to make sure I return papers in a timely fashion. Last year, I got so bogged down with trying to devote enough time to my own two boys and my students, plus all the extra (time-wasting, in my honest opinion) things I have to do at work (paperwork and what not), I was giving essays back 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after the fact. So this year I made it my goal that all quizzes and tests need to be done in two to three days and all essays in a week. the problem this week was that with getting the Smartboard, I had to spend my prep time figuring out how to hook it up to my laptop and how to use it (by the way, it is awesome!), and then I had training on reading strategies on Thursday, that I still had three sets of essays to grade before my own set deadline of Friday. it doesn't help that this year I have 24 more students than last, which is equal to anotehr class. Anyway, I ended up not working out on Wednesday (it was schedules rest day anyway) or Thursday. teh good news is I have still stuck to my goal :).

On my workout agenda for today, I am going to try Supersets Lower Body 3sets premix. I never did this one before, so I will let you all know how it goes.

I'll be back for personals later. Gotta go watch the Pink Panther cartoon with my son. It is on Boomerang at 7 and it has become our tradition on Sat. mornings. I used to love it as a kid and now he does too, which I think is really cool.

Kirstin - yeah, you don't wonna fall behind on grating all those papers and essays! Good for you figuring out the Smartboard. Enjoy Supersets Lower Body 3sets premix, that's a tough one. That one will get you good, lol!

I haven't worked out yet. Will rest a little and walk the dogs than workout! I am to excusted right now:confused: BBL to report my workout.
 
Good Morning Ladies

I didn't get a workout in yesterday, hoping to this afternoon. I got out of work late last night....and dang I just needed that extra hour of sleep this morning. But I want to get to work for a little while as well, so workout skipped for now..... *sigh*
So things will be changing real soon....I've been needing to set some more personal goals for myself, to keep me sane and motivated and moving. SO, I upgraded from my Lifestyle package with Cathy Savage, to Show Prep -Bikini. :D Meaning, I'll be doing a show at some point, I'm aiming for early next spring. It's what I really really want to do, and I've really gotten the bug from watching other fellow cathletes go for it. :) Now that I've settled into the gym *kind of*, time to start working on me again. I've really lacked in that department.....

Belinda- Have an awesome workout!! I had fun doing nothing yesterday...lol

Amelia- I did AS for the first time Christmas Day last year.....I'll be doing it again this Christmas...lol. Yeah I know what move you're talking about!

Melissa- Ohh...so cool you like Forever 21 too! You need to see the store in our mall, they moved and renovated and it's HUGE. It would take alllll day to go through this store. I'm with you, watching the finances, big time. It's worth it though, someday I wont' have to *hopefully*. Awesome your birthday is your last day at the hole.

Helene- I love S&H!, but couldnt' do it week after week I don't think....so much mental concentration!! How was that restaurant you went to?

Lori- My "income" has been all over the place. Don't do what I did unless your just so miserable at your job you gotta get out. I'm six months in, and even with my small salary, it's just not a steady income yet. Might not be for a long time...... But the fact you have space is an awesome thing!! ;) I hear ya on the short notice sessions sometimes.... but even planned sessions, something happens or goes wrong, etc, and you gotta be on the fly anyways. lol

Ok everyone...off to shower and the gym for a minute and BBL

Wait, omg, I have a DG story...... he came in last night and says we really need to "re-kindle" :rolleyes: He pretty much tells me we were getting together after work, and he's calling me an hour before I get out. So he does, but I can tell he's so damn tired...so I'm like, if you're still awake in an hour, call me. He must have fallen asleep. :cool:

Kristin- Hope you enjoy your workout!! Sounds like a cool premix. I love Supersets. I'm so intrigued by this smartboard. I taught middle school and high school band...so essays and paperwork, not so much. (sometimes I remember......) My "deadlines" were organizing and copying music parts, and instrument repair....LOL Saturday morning cartoons...great tradition!! ;)

Good Morning girls! On today's agenda is Muscle Max! I need to pump some iron!!! I'm kinda pissed right now at a family member(In-Law side), you know the type that likes to play mind games. Im not that type and im almost tempted to call this person up and ask WTF is their problem;) but DH told me it wasn't worth getting upset about, I hardly talk to this person anyways and don't even have their phone #:p

Hello ladies! Have some time to check in before I leave for Boston for the weekend; we are going to celebrate my friend's bacc party woohoo!!!

Skipped my workout yesterday so I had to double up this morning: Athletic Step & STS D12. I've come to the conclusion that cardio & STS legs on the same day are NOT fun. I feel some killer DOMS coming on :eek:

Cookie, I love double wave too! That is my favorite of the HIITS. Hope your head feels better :(

Kristin, wow 24 more kids?! That is nuts! Don't worry, it might take awhile but you will get into the routine soon enough! :)

Iris, that is SO cool about the show! You can do iiiiiiit!! Bets of luck to you and keep us posted on your progress!! Oh yes, I love everything cheap and trendy lol. The only "expensive" clothes I buy are shoes and jeans because I need them to carry over through seasons/years, but shirts...the cheaper the better haha. And Forever has some awesome deals! I also love Joyce Leslie. I was wondering if I would ever stop wearing juniors tops and the answer is probably not :p LOL @ DG!

Amelia, you don't need their drama esp if you don't talk to them. Although I have a big mouth and I always feel the need to call someone out when I hear they are pulling stupid crap! Have fun w/ MM. That is one of my favorites!

I decided on supersets today, just finished it. I subbed the core parts for more intense moves. I don't ever feel the burn on the core moves in that workout?

Melissa, Helene-I completely agree with you guys..not worth the drama. Nice workouts too..high fives!
