Clinique for adult acne...it works for me!

I just wanted to share this excitement because I know this topic has been discussed so many times on here. I just started with Clinique and have to say that my skin has never looked this great. There is not one pimple, blackhead, whitehead, cystic anything on my face. There's not even anything "brewing" under the surface.

Here's what I'm using:
Liquid Facial Soap - Oily skin formula
Clarifying Lotion 3
Turnaround Concentrate visibile skin renewer
Turnaround 15-minute facial (2x week)

I hope it works for someone else, too!:)

ETA - I've been using it about 3-4 weeks.

If you don't mind me asking... How long have you been using it? And bad was your acne before? I have tried some other Clinique products for acne and not been impressed, but I haven't tried any of these yet...

I went back to my original post to add that I've been using them about 3-4 weeks.

My skin was bad enough that there was always something going on. I either had something cystic brewing along my jawline, huge whiteheads on my chin and constant pimples on my forehead. I even had a patch that started on my cheek with constant breakouts after I had my baby in May. I can honestly say that it's gone. I have had two microscopic whiteheads, one last night actually. I used the facial last night and today, it's gone!

I am actually for the first time using a tinted moisturizer for my foundation, and that's it!

I just started doing BFL last Monday so I've cleaned up my diet considerably, too, which I'm sure is helping this, too.

It's kind of funny that you posted this today. My cousin and I were just talking about skincare last night because she has always had problems with her skin. She has tried so many products (including Paula's Choice, Proactive, etc.) and nothing has worked well for her. I was just going to ask if anyone had any suggestions and there was your post. I called my cousin immediately and asked if she's ever tried Clinique and she tried something years and years ago, but nothing that you mentioned. She's stopping to buy the products after work. I hope they work as well for her as they have for you. Thanks for the information. :)

Wow! I should be getting a commission from Clinique for my referrals! I hope everyone has the same results as I did.:) :)

Wow, we must all have clear skin on the mind. I was also going to ask about products for acne.

Did the Clinique products do anything for clearing up scarring from past breakouts? That seems to be a big problem for me, it's not that bad, but I'd like to be able to use less concealer.

Does anyone else know of any good products for lessening/fading acne scars? I did try the Loreal Acne Response peel kit, which helped a little bit, but am looking for an alternative.

Thanks!

I tried clinique yrs ago and it worked for the first few months and then I started to break out again. doesnt mean it will for you but the one thing that has helped me is cetaphyl dont know if I sp;elled that right and this will seem funny but just plain old dawn dish soap. I get break outs on my shoulders and I read this on a web site about acne and it has helped me tremendously. As far as getting rid of previous acne spots from old acne, not scars but egg whites with a squirt of lemon juice put on your face for 5-10mins will help fade theses areas. It takes several treatments though. It can be drying to the skin also so if you have dry skin already be careful. I have super oily skin so this helped me. but just skip days in between if it is too drying for you.

I like Body Shop's Vitamin C Plus time release capsules for fading red spots/scars.

How cool. Here is another story but a different product. Arbonne's clear advantage set. Cheaper than Clinique, all botanically based, cheaper than proactiv lasts longer and addresses the inside with a fabulous Vitamin A supplement. Been on Accutane 2X. THis is the only thing that worked.

Margaret -

My sister just started selling Arbonne. If the Clinique stops working, that's my next product line!
