-----> Clean & Tidy Weekend <-----

I have a confession to make, I ate pizza for dinner last night. I wanted it at the moment, and it was Friday, and I felt like my family deserved a "treat." So I ordered a pizza, and I ate THREE pieces!

I feel guilty about it, maybe because it was not a *planned* cheat, I don't know.

But I suppose I must move on... Today's workout will be Gym Styles BSB, maybe a few drills from Drill Max if I get lucky. No workout tomorrow.

Katie, Good morning! Pizza, huh? Could've been worse... I had a few bites yesterday too.

d - at Grandma's for 10-yo cousin's bday party

I'm just about to leave for a workout place in town. Their cardio classes are only $1 for Saturdays in November. Today is 30 min Pilates, 30 min HiLo. I'll let you know how it goes. Gonna eat my apple on the way, gr. bar afterwards.

Wish me luck at dinner tonight! The cake is coming from a bakery that is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. I don't *want* to have any, but I do..... C'mon willpower, don't fail me now!

My workout is done, and I am feeling awesome! I did Drill Max wu and cardio drills 1,2, and 3, then Gym Styles BSB. I am scared to leave my beloved Gym Styles for awhile -- I love them!

Not sure what the food will be today -- I think we are having quesadillas tonight for dinner, per DF's request.

Good Morning Kate, Katie and all who follow,

I didn't do so well last night. I had a lot of buttered popcorn, pumpkin ice cream (about 3/4 cup), candy corn, a peppermint patty, laffy taffy and washed it down with a diet soda. That was at 10:30 pm. YUCK! I have to eat very clean today and tomorrow. I didn't eat enough protein yesterday(too many carbs) and I think that's why I pigged out. I wasn't going to list what I ate but I'm happy I did. It's going to help keep me on track. I teach TK today. I'm going to do Amy's back and shoulders shortly.

Katie, Your workout sounds like it was very good! Do you make your own quesadillas? BTW, my DH does not exercise regularly but plays in a competitive men's hockey league. He doesn't say too much about my exercise dvd addiction, he knows exercise keeps me sane. ;) He used to not understand why I needed to buy them b/c I am a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I attend several trainings a year, teach my own classes and have clients. But, it's my time that I'm being trained by the BEST trainers I could find in the convenience of my home. I love working out at home and sharing my love for fitness with you ladies! :)

Kate, I'm sending you the willpower I didn't execute last night! It sounds like you have been doing great this week. Keep it up! How's the November rotation? I've decided not to do it. I love Amy's Slo-Mo!!! I'm making up my own rotation and going to check out what Amy comes up with. I have to take into consideration the classes I teach so I don't over do it.

Shirl Amy Slo-Mo sounds soooooooooo good I keep looking at the preview on collage videos.

This morning I had a pinning ceremony for the girl scouts and I'd asked the parents to bring in breakfast items. Well we had about 4 dozen bagels, and 3 dozen donuts. LOL Only one parent brought in fruit. Another parent brought in GORP, which is a big mixture of cereals, raisons,M&Ms, etc. It looked so colorful and it tasted good. It wasn't clean because it had a lot of surgery cereals in it.

This morning I did Amy's Step. Shirl do you have Amy's new step DVD?

Hey Shirl I have a question about fitness. Is it enough to do step aerobics for only 1/2 hour? I thought that you would need to do step for at least 45 minutes to burn a good amount of calories.

Katie - Good w/o for you, girl! 90 min? Great job! Enjoy your quesadillas! That would be a nightmare for me (way too tempting to eat too much!).

Shril - Sorry for the junk food binge. I HATE when taht happens! What is TK? You have my dream job, btw... These posts are making a good excuse to go check out Collage for Amy Bento. The Nov. rotation is going good. Today was supposed to be a rest-ish day, but I took that class instead. The cardio was fun, but def. not Cathe. The pilates wasn't too great. It was pretty clear the instructor didn't know what she was doing, but I got a decent enough w/o out of it. Esp. considering this is supposed to be a rest day.

Robin - I'm a sucker for any kind of trail-mix type of food, too. I'm sure the GSs were very cute! DONT FORGET TO DRINK YOUR WATER!

Lunch was green pepper, 1 egg, 2 egg whites, over dry 9-grain bread. Apple too. Still not cure what to have for snack today. I'm dreading dinner!!!!!!

So far, so great.

Hi Robin,
If you really push yourself, you can get a great workout in 30 minutes or less. Intensity plays a large factor. There are so many different opinions on how long one should exercise. (It's hard to keep up) My thought is that some exercise is better than none. If you know you are only going to exercise for 30 minutes and feel that it's not enough; give it your all. HTH Oh, I ordered Amy's new step yesterday. I can't wait to get it!

Oh, that stinks. The clips on her site are so much longer than collage's clips. Did you click on the challenge series? Another page comes up with the descriptions and a screen to play the clips.

Hello clean and tidy ladies!

Oh boy, Shirl, i hear ya, ate like crap today, dont know if i can write it down. DH and i are in a big fight, and i'm sure that's why. By the way, Katie, my night included pizza too, and i dont think my vitamin C was low :) Robin, you make me laugh!!!

I ate everything from carob raisins, to a low fat banana muffin, to chocolate chip cookies, to mini kitkat, to pizza, made my own though, to oh, forget it, it was so bad!!!!!

Workout, all upper body premix from 4Day, really thorough, i recommend it! and Ripped with abs tossed in. I think that's another reason i'm eating like mad, i'm working out again post back injury!

I bought a CD, its supposed to help with emotional eating, like hypnosis i think. what do you all think?

Hey ladies, lots of activity here for a weekend!! Sounds like everyone is doing pretty well!

Quesadillas -- I use one large tortilla, put a thin layer of beans, some chicken, and cheese. I cooked it in a frying pan with Pam, NOT butter! I ate 3/4 of it.

I am curious with all of you talking about Any Bento stuff -- I don't have anything that is not Cathe, and I am scared to venture out. Tell me about it, and how does it compare to Cathe?

Eating overall today was decent -- not clean or tidy but decent calorie-wise.

I did SO GREAT today! I did have some cake at the bday party. It was from my absolute favorite bakery and I could not resist! Although I should NOT have licked up some of the extra frosting while I was packaging the leftovers up. BAD GIRL! SHAME! }( :+ :7

We have a lot going on tomorrow in the beginning of the day. My check-in will be late....see ya then!
 
Happy Sunday morning, ladies!!

I stayed up too late last night, and woke up too early this morning. Apparently no one told my son that we were supposed to get an extra hour of sleep last night!

I don't feel great today, so I am glad it is a rest day. Hopefully I am ready for the new workouts starting tomorrow. I am a little nervous!

I am about to have some cereal. DF wants to go to Sonic for lunch today -- totally dirty -- so wish me luck. Then we will go to the store and I am trying to do my best to plan nice clean meals for the rest of the week.

I am off work on Tuesday (election day), YAY! 4DS Kickbox is on tap for Tuesday, so I might try a mix of 4DS and Kick Max since I will have extra time.

Well, I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in. I started out strong this week and then faltered. I think I need that CD. Steph, please let us know if it works. Today is a rest day for me. I start my new rotation tomorrow. I am lookng forward to it.

Good afternoon ladies, just got back from food shopping at BJs. i love their meats.You know my DS has been talking ever since he woke up this morning. Non-stop and now he is in the kitchen singing.

Sorry about DH troubles Steph, you know if men would just think like us the world would be a better place.;-) Which premix did you do on Sat Steph?

What's the name of the CD Steph? I think I may need that too.

Today w/o was great!!! I did 4 Day premix Bootcamp #10. I still needed to get all of my equipment out but this time I was ready.

Katie Amy Bento is a lot like Cathe, she is advanced and you will get your money's worth. Just like Cathe you have to work at her DVDs in order to master them. She does have a short section in her step DVD showing some difficult moves. I've not brought the new series....yet.
