Looking ahead to the weekend, what is everyone planning for Easter?
 
No house projects again this weekend -- just more packing and moving. We also need to finish up the wedding invitations! Should be able to get most of that done!

On Sunday, I will have an egg hunt for Collin. Sometime in the afternoon, we are going to have a big meal with our best friends -- should be fun!

I would really really like to make it thru the day today without a cheat!! I am PMSing, so that is a lot of the reason why I am craving junk so much. Hopefully I can make it thru today.

I am up early to work on a few more combos of RS!

Menu:

Besides trying to find parking on Easter Sunday for church that is about the only thing I have planned. My kids are too old to be coloring eggs, i think.

Yesterday I gave myself a B because I did not eat enough food during lunch so I ate some GS cookies:-( . For dinner I was on track. I made turkey chilli for the kids and stuffed red peppers for myself. It was so good and easy.I make my chilli thick like sloppy joe.

b-oatmeal with added fiber
s-fiber one yogurt and apple
l-stuffed peppers
s-popcorn 2 cups
d-string beans and ??

I'm gonna have to be fast, running late today,and a pile of work on my freaking desk when i came in!

Katie, good luck today, PMS sucks! Easter, well DH is going to visit his family and i'm staying home by myself! My folks are coming down Easter Sunday so i can do their taxes...no i'm not stressed :)
I want to come to your easter egg hunt!!

Robin, B is good, A today right? I didnt order STS, so when i look at the pics...i freak out!

Tonight, i have my trainer, its the last session i've paid for, but i think i can afford 2x/month, i like it. I like the kettlebells, and the equipment.

Katie, Glad you're getting a little more practice with RS. Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned.

Robin, Cathe does 1-legged deadlifts in another WO but I can't think of which right now. I love them! They work really good. Great menu - sending you vibes to stick to it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today is not too bad. I swear my vitamin makes me nauseous! I seem to do better the days I forget to take them in the AM. Go figure. See, my body doesn't want anything healthy! Pass me the carbs!

Isabel and I were grocery shopping and I was getting nauseous so I opened a box of vanilla wafers and ate some. More carbs!

Not sure what's for lunch. I'm making ham for dinner and not sure what else yet. Rolls!

No workout - Wednesdays are always crazy.
 
Oh! Easter plans!

We were actually planning to go visit Mike's grandpa on Sunday (he's got s wicked cancer and this could be our last time to see him). BUT.. another old man that we know died last night and if I were a bettin' woman I'd bet that we'll be at his funeral this weekend, maybe Sunday.

My girls have been to more funerals in their lives than most adults I know!
 
Kate, when I was pregnant I did not take the vitamins -- always forgot -- and I have a healthy baby!! I wasn't ever sick either...

Why is my job so crazy this week? Guess it doesn't leave me too much time to think about food (specifically cheat foods!).
 
Good for you Katie. It's crazy this week because of the holiday weekend. Some people find any reason to party and raise cain.

Those pills are making you nauseous Kate and vanilla wrafers are low in fat ;-)

I'm glad that you like your trainer and kettlebell w/o Steph. I can't wait until Cathe comes out with her new w/o equipment.

I'm eating my lunch and I forgot to put my fiber power in it :(
Maybe by next week I'll get the hang of it.

Robin, Thanks for the encouragement! Sorry you forgot your fiber. Any, um, repercussions of adding so much in?! LOL on calling in sick for STS!

My lunch was a little more normal. I had noodle soup, cheese & crackers, and salad w/ some chicken stuff from Schwans that Gina likes. My belly feels humongous. I feel like a huge fatty. Everything is super tight and I look like a stuffed sausage. On the bright side, my boobs are bigger too!!! Maybe I can do CS while the girls are playing this afternoon.
 
Hi Everyone,

Today has been a crazy day. I am not even sure what I need to get done today because the list is so long. I had a nightmare about push ups last night. I don't remember much of it, but I knew I had to do Gym Style Chest & Tri this morning so maybe that's where the nightmare came from.

Kate, can you take the pregnancy vitamins at night?
Katie, I am always busy before holidays. I wanted to leave at noon the Friday before Christmas but my client was sending so many emails I couldn't keep up.
Steph, I am glad you can continue your Arnold sessions at least part-time.
Robin, are you going to do STS in one day? Or just spend the day on the couch watching it?

For Easter, DH and I are going to his parents for dinner. MIL is a homemaker and loves cooking for holidays. I am meeting a friend on Saturday and we are going to DC to one of the museums. I hope it is not too crowded.

Kate, the nighttime vitamin is a good suggestion from Colleen, have you tried that? There are liquids too, faster absorption.

Colleen, nice workout and damn fine menu!

l: corn soup, celery, hummus, apple, and i ate my snack at lunch! Ryveta and almond butter
d: omelette, ezekial, greens and berries!

I was looking forward to training tonight too...next week it is.

I *wish* I could take my vit at night but I have 4 that I take and space them out thru the day. I usually do 2 at br., 1 at lun, 1 at dinner. Maybe I'll start doing the 2 at dinner since I tend to feel better at night anyway. I don't want to switch vits, as I feel like the brand I take is about the best out there.

Gonna go do more housework..and make sure DDs aren't eating Easter candy! they're tooooo quiet!
 
Katie - I love your wedding counter. Good job - no cheats. Wish I could say the same. I was fine until I started eating GS cookies. I only ate 3, so it's not that bad. Luckily I bought some I don't like.

Off to go find my kitchen counter. I haven't had time to empty the dishwasher so I can fill up again. I can't stand my kitchen right now.

Colleen, What kind of GSC do you NOT like? The lemon chalets....mmmm. I hate feeling like I hate my kitchen - I know EXACTLY what you mean. My kitchen has been in various states of that for the last month. Thanks, Mike! (for nothing! grrr)

I'm doing good right now other than the fact that I'm dealing with nasty paperwork issues.
