I am in a bad mood -- I am feeling really tired, really heavy, and sort of discouraged. I need to remember that the 4 Day Split is intense cardio and heavier weights. I cannot try to cut calories right now, or I won't build muscle. I am working my body really hard, and asking a lot of it, and I need to feed it and rest it properly. Tired muscles do not need Reese's peanut butter cups!

Whew, okay, I feel better.

Workout today is LIS cardio and weights -- I really love everything about this one! I need to remember to eat well, drink lots of water, and do a nice extra-long stretch this evening! I should probably do some core too!

Kate, I am jealous that you ordered your calendar! I really want one, but I am not allowed to buy anything for myself right now, since Christmas is coming. It looks awesome, though!

I see the new calendar is out, I can't wait to order it, but I'm going to have to wait.LOL
I loved her calendar from 2007 I keep it in my bedroom next to my alarm clock. The only thing I did not like was those little tiny stickers.

Katie keep you head up and make sure you take in enough protein to build muscle. You don't want an injury now.I guess this is why Cathe planned her rotation with those rest days, because it is hard work.
Don't wory about your crockpot meal, it looks clean and tidy to me.

My crock pot dinner is lean ground beef, black beans, rotel diced tomatoes and green chilis, and taco seasoning. A few minutes before you serve it, you are supposed to melt some cheese on top. That's the main part I am concerned about!

Workout is done, I am showered, and sipping my protein shake. I wonder if I am getting enough protein...

Katie, i'm sure you have added pressure on you with the wedding. But maybe that is making eating harder too. I'm going to try LIS tonight, is it difficult to get the first time around?

Robin, are you making your panini at work? i remember you were going to do that, sounded great!

Last night i did MIS, my back is bugging me a bit today.
Today, i'm going to try LIS and legs from B&G, some abs. I'm really trying to keep my workouts under 1 hr, 15 minutes, i get a little nutty sometimes :)

Menu
B: you know it, oatmeal
s: quark, did anyone try it yet?
L: my organic corn chowder, cut veggies and hummus, apple
s: wasa toast, almonds
D: big salad, hemp dressing, egg whites, ezekial bread, strawberries and yogurt (yum)

Hello!

Katie - Have fun doing your engagement photos! I LOVE LIS too.! And I share your sentiments about eating/working out. I need to keep my mouth shut when my stomach's not hungry. Speaking of which:

b - kashi, banana
s - banana, v.small handful of peanuts
l - baked chicken breast, very veggie salsa, grapes, a few tortilla chips
s- (hangs head in shame) ...chocolate chip cookies.... I wasn't even hungry, darn it! DDs & I were baking. No more today! Or tomorrow either! I work out too darn hard to eat that garbage!
d - will be spag & meatballs for the fam. I'll have salda and veggies, spag sauce, and a few tidy meatballs. NO BREAD!

Rest day today. HIS tomorrow!

Robin - Did you decide on your dinner? Let's go to Katie's for Mexican!

Steph - ^5 to you on your good eats!

Hi Everyone,
I'm finally getting a chance to check in. I have some new clients and new classes that I have been working on; so I'm busier than usual. I had to change my rotation plans this week slightly. Yesterday, I did the BC lower body circuit from 4DS. I really enjoyed it. It was easier than what I had planned, but that's ok. Amy's weight work is much more challenging to me. Today I did Back and Shoulders from 4DS adding in extra sets for the back exercises.
My eating has been going well. :)

Katie, Your dinner sounds delicious. I agree with Steph.

Robin, Thanks for the link. That is a tough workout! I love it!

Steph, How did your workout feel? Is your back handling it ok? What did you do to your back?

Kate, I hope Santa brings me the calendar. I love using the calendar. You've been working late!

Hi Everyone!

Today was crazy and busy and I am happy it is over. I only wish it was Friday. I am wiped out.

Katie - I thought today was Thursday so this week is going to feel very long. I am just happy that next week is a short work week.
Robin - the quiz was interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Steph - how's your back?
Kate - I have never ordered the calendar. I am not sure that I would use it. Where do you keep yours?

Eating today was so-so. I didn't have time for lunch so I had to crash a pizza party to get some food.

Shirl - Your business sounds like fun - getting paid to workout/be in the fitness industry.

Colleen - I feel your sentiments on wishing it were Friday! My calendar is in my office where I see it every day. The big pic is motivating.

Did I say no more choc. chip cookies today? Yeah, right! Better luck tomorrow - I gave them all away tonight to our company as they were leaving.

Tomorrow is a new (busy) day!
